I recall that you were among the few who purchased the shares after I published the due diligence (DD). Many individuals bought the shares at the earliest stage, but some are no longer with us, including a few skilled traders who were significant players on IHUB. As investors, we're constantly searching for opportunities that can substantially enhance our lives. Achieving this often requires focusing on just one stock, as it only takes one exceptional investment to attain remarkable success. The challenge is that we sometimes perceive the grass as greener on the other side of the fence, and we chase after pie-in-the-sky opportunities that never materialize into reality.

Recreational weed industry 'verges on collapse' due to steep taxes, plunging prices, glut of competition- and thriving illicit pot market
Across the US, the legal weed industry is under pressure from a 'ganja glut'
Prices have plunged even as dispensaries complain of high taxes and red tape
Industry group warns pot business is 'on the verge of collapse' without reforms

Across the US, the legalized marijuana industry is buckling under the strain of plunging prices, patchwork state regulation, and burdensome taxes, analysts and industry groups say.
'All of these issues are chipping away at the health of the industry to the point where I would describe the industry as in crisis in the United States,' Beau Whitney, senior economist for the National Cannabis Industry Association, told DailyMail.com this week. 'This is unsustainable from an economic perspective.'
Currently, the recreational use of cannabis is legal in 23 states, and last year state-regulated medical and recreational pot sales topped $26 billion nationwide, according to Vangst.
But even while sales soar, dispensaries say eking out a profit is growing harder, as a glut of weed production pushes prices lower -- a boon for blissed-out pot consumers, but a bane for growers and retailers.
In California, dispensary chain MedMen, once dubbed the 'Apple store of weed,' teeters on the brink of financial ruin, while in New Jersey a trade group warns the industry is stagnating in a 'doom loop' due to licensing delays.
'Sadly, the legal cannabis markets demanded by countless Americans are on the verge of collapse if common sense, practical reforms are not enacted urgently,' the National Cannabis Industry Association (NCIA) warned in a report this month.

Because the marijuana industry is regulated independently in each state where it is legal, the specific issues the industry faces vary from state to state.
But the industry's fractured nature may be part of the problem, says Whitney, because any excess supply is officially trapped within the state it was grown, due to a federal ban on interstate sales of marijuana.
On the West Coast in particular, that has meant a glut of oversupply that has sent prices plunging.
When legal sales began in Oregon, a pound of cannabis might have gone for $3,000 wholesale, while now it might cost $100 to $150, Isaac Foster, co-founder of wholesale distributor Portland Cannabis Market, told the AP in April.
In Washington, which has some of the highest cannabis taxes in the country, the prices consumers pay in legal dispensaries can be even cheaper than illicit weed, due to the huge quantity of excess pot being grown in the state.
Nationwide, just 24 percent of companies in the cannabis industry are profitable, down sharply from 42 percent last year, according to a survey conducted by Whitney's consulting firm, Whitney Economics.
Whitney told DailyMail.com that in addition to pricing pressures, cannabis businesses are struggling under tax burdens, because federal law prohibits them from deducting business expenses from income taxes like a normal business would.
As a result, he said, companies in the pot trade are often paying an effective federal tax rate of up to 70 percent -- on top of the state and local excise taxes levied on sales.

In Michigan and Massachusetts, flood of new licenses threatens established dispensaries
In Michigan, monthly cannabis sales set new a record of $276 million in July, but retailers say they are struggling to turn a profit as the state issues new licenses for growers and retailers each month, according to Bridge Michigan.
Michigan currently has 2,080 active licenses for recreational use, more than half of them belong to class c growers or retailers, who can can possess up to 1,500 plants.
Last month, the state received 97 applications for recreational use and issued 87 new licenses.
Michigan also levies steep state taxes on weed, and retailers face a 10 percent excise tax in addition to a 6 percent sales tax.
Meanwhile in Massachusetts, dispensary owners say low prices and a flood of competition threaten to put them out of business.
Kobie Evans, who opened Pure Oasis dispensary in Dorchester in 2020, and a second location in Boston this summer, told the Boston Globe this week that he fears for the viability of his business.
'It's actually very, very scary,' Evans said. 'When everyone was speculating about the industry, back in 2016, '17, '18, we all had these high hopes and all these grand expectations.'
But he added that, now, 'The reality is setting in that there isn't this pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.'
In many states that have legalized weed, lawmakers have prioritized cannabis licenses for applicants who were impacted by the war on drugs, such as through a former marijuana-related conviction.
But Whitney warned in a recent economic report that this goal, while admirable, should be balanced with forecasting to determine how many licenses a state market can reasonably bear.
'Unlimited licenses ensure opportunities for smaller and social equity applicants, yet this approach leads to a propensity for oversaturation of supply, resulting in lower prices, tighter margins and economic stress for operators across the supply chain,' he wrote.

In New Jersey, dispensaries blame red tape and licensing delays for cannabis 'doom loop'
At the other end of the spectrum, cannabis companies in some states say they are being stifled by regulators who refuse to issue enough licenses to let the legal industry flourish.
On Tuesday, the New Jersey Cannabis Trade Association issued a report blaming state regulators for the industry's slow growth in the state.
The trade group, which represents the majority of cultivators and dispensaries in the Garden State, said the industry is in a 'doom loop' due to licensing delays and a lack of enforcement against illicit products.
'The root cause of the weaknesses in New Jersey’s cannabis industry is straightforward: The Cannabis Regulatory Commission’s anemic pace of licensing operators has suffocated the legal market,' the group's report said.
'We're advocating starting with the removal of the bureaucracy,' Todd Johnson, the group's executive director, told the Philadelphia Inquirer. 'We are making it difficult right at the point of entry for no reason.'
New Jersey currently has 37 operating recreational cannabis dispensaries, and 13 that sell only medical marijuana.
Legal recreational sales in the state began with 12 adult-use retailers in April 2022.
Whitney noted that, when state regulators don't allow the legal industry to grow to meet demand, illicit markets for pot thrive, raising concerns about safety and quality standards as well as lost tax revenue for the state.
'You're just not getting the types of benefits from the legal cannabis program that you would normally, so there's a balance there,' he said.

In New York City, delays in rolling out licenses have resulted in a free-for-all of bootleg weed retailers operating with impunity.
New York set aside its first dispensary licenses for people who had pot convictions or relatives who did, complexities that slowed the rollout after legalization of recreational use in March 2021.
Since then, just 15 approved retailers have opened in a state of nearly 20 million people.
In New York City, the number of corner bodegas and illicit dispensaries selling weed without licenses is estimated to top 1,000.
While there have been some attempts at enforcement, authorities are reluctant to be seen as re-criminalizing pot.
Ban on interstate trade leaves Western states with supply gluts
Meanwhile, some in the industry are holding out faint hopes that President Joe Biden's administration will clear the way for marijuana trade among states that have legalized the drug.
That would allow the West Coast - with its favorable climate and cheap, clean hydropower for indoor growing - to help supply the rest of the country, they argue.
'Now, that already occurs through the illicit channel,' noted Whitney. 'But if they had interstate commerce, then it would be more formalized. And then you'd have a balance, you'd have more demand to consume all that excess in the West, and you wouldn't need to set up all this growing infrastructure in the East.'
How states have set up their markets has implications for how their industries are doing now - and how they might fare should businesses be allowed to sell out of state.
Washington and Colorado were the first states to legalize recreational marijuana in 2012.
Many of the early regulations Washington adopted to keep the Justice Department at bay - including restricting the size of growing facilities and banning out-of-state investment - remain in place.
That has helped some smaller growers thrive. But it could hamstring those hoping to compete in an interstate marketplace alongside larger, more efficient producers from Oregon or California, who operate under fewer limits.
In Oregon, where sales began in 2015, large growers have achieved some economy of scale that could give them a leg up in a broader market. But in the meantime, the state's oversupply is considered the nation's worst.
In February, the Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission reported marijuana businesses were sitting on about 3 million pounds of unused cannabis, as well as 75,000 pounds of concentrates and extracts.

GENESIS
Over seven years ago, the decision was made to develop a nutraceutical that could increase circulating primitive cells. It was hope that this nutraceutical could improve overall wellness and facilitate hematopoietic stem cell treatments. In particular, in the United States where incubation of hematopoietic stem cells is not allowed for human autologous treatments. Because the product was developed to increase circulating primitive cells, it was named PrimiCell®. PrimiCell® is not a drug. It is a combination of phytonutrients that have been processed using a proprietary system and equipment.
As testing and experiments progressed, a significant body of anecdotal information came to light. The decision was then made to take testing of the product to the next level. In order to do so, a team of world-class Medical Doctors specializing in pharmaceutical testing and toxicology were brought together.
OUR CLINICAL TEAM
Our advisory team consists of 3 highly accomplished physicians with impressive CVs and major clinical research experience with global companies. They are: A retired Harvard Medical School professor, who over 20 years ago, sold his ear nose and throat practice and began a new career developing effective human clinical trials. The next member is a Medical Doctor from China with a PhD in toxicology. He is an associate professor University of Albany. The third member is a Medical Doctor from Saint Petersburg, Russia. She has worked for over 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry and human clinical trials.
INITIAL RESEARCH — PROOF OF CONCEPT
The obvious question in any new product is: Does it work? Our first step was a very simple proof of concept test. Three healthy adults with no illness and normal blood tests were selected. Their blood was drawn and the primitive cells counted to determine a baseline. All three were then given PrimiCell® and two hours later their blood was drawn and the cells counted again. The results showed a significant increase in circulating primitive cells. While this is not a conclusive test, however when considered with the known anecdotal information, it was enough to justify a Human Clinical Trial. (Fig 1)
Figure 1
CONFIRMATION—MULTIPLE STUDIES FOR MULTIPLE HUMAN CONDITIONS ALL GENERATING SUPERIOR OUTCOMES
Human Clinical Trial. The Advisory Team developed a versatile protocol that would be acceptable in the United States, Europe and Asia. An outside Clinical Data Management company was hired to do the randomization and control the data including the data collection process. Protocols for a Human Clinical trial were written and an IRB was approved. The trial was a randomized, double blind; placebo controlled Human Clinical Trial managed by an outside Clinical Data Management
All participants were thoroughly screened and given physicals including blood tests to assure they were healthy and all blood work was within acceptable limits. The blood tests were completed on each person prior to the test, at two weeks, four weeks, and two weeks after the trial. At each blood draw, circulating primitive cells and the following were reported: WBC, RBC, Hb, HCT, MCV, MCH, MCHC, PLT, LYMPH%, MONO%, NEUT%, EO%, BASO%LYMPH%, LYMPH#, MONO#, NEUT#, EO#, BASO#, RDW-CV, RDW-SD, PDW, MPV, PCT, TP, ALB, A/G, TBIL, DBIL, ALT, ALP, CRE, UREA, GLU, IgM, IgA, IgG, CD8, CD4, CD3, CD4/CD8
The participants were given an escalating dose beginning at one fourth the recommended serving for one week, then one half the recommended serving for one week, then three fourths of the recommended serving for one week, and finally the full serving for one week.
Cell counts were performed along with the blood test listed above. Day 0 a baseline was determined for each participant. After two weeks the average increase in circulating primitive cells was 117.9%, after four weeks it was 268.8%. (Fig 2)
Figure 2
Cancer Cell Line Assay. Following the human clinical trial, additional testing was done on PrimiCell®. Among the first were two assays, CCK-8 and SRB to determine the effect PrimiCell® had on selected cancer cell lines. The results of CCK-8 and SRB experiments suggest that PrimiCell® extracts may have anticancer effects. At the cellular level PrimiCell® showed significant inhibitory effects on the cell growth of A549 (non-small cell lung cancer), SGC-7901 (Stomach cancer), HT-29 (colon cancer), and PC-3 (prostate cancer) cancer cells. (Figs 3 and 4).
Figure 3
Figure 4
Anti-Aging. The next tests were done on C. elegans. The test was used to determine if PrimiCell® had anti-aging properties. Pods of 90 C. elegans were used as control and others were given PrimiCell®. The results showed the lifespan of C. elegans was significantly prolonged with PrimiCell®. Similar results were obtained from experiments with both liquid media and solid agar plates. (fig 5)
Figure 5
Heavy Metal Toxicity Further testing with C. elegans in the heavy metal toxicity resistance experiment, the resistance of C. elegans to Cr6+ toxicity cultured in PrimiCell® extracts was significantly increased in comparison to the controls.
Anti-Oxidant. In anti-oxidation experiments, the survival rate of the elegans cultured in PrimiCell® to H2O2 treatment was significantly increased.
Heat Stress In the 34°C heat stress experiments, the survival rate of C. elegans was increased with PrimiCell®.
Wound healing in Mice. A study was done to determine if any wound healing benefits were derived from the Three points were measured, lesion size, inflammation, and necrosis. All groups were acclimated for one week followed by one week either being fed PrimiCell® or a saline solution. The PrimiCell® group showed significant improvement over the control group as shown in fig 6.
Figure 6
Skin Repair – Pain Relief. Similar tests were done on mice for skin repair and nerve damage pain The Skin Repair test showed PrimiCell® treatment could facilitate the skin wound healing process and the Nerve Damage test demonstrated an analgesic effect of PrimiCell® as evidenced by its capability of curtailing the decrease of pain threshold caused by sciatic nerve ligation-induced injury. These results suggest that PrimiCell® formula could be developed as pain reliever to promote nerve injury repair in the conditions such as sciatic nerve injury.
BOTTOM LINE: PRIMICELL® WORKS AND LIKE STEPHEN HAWKING HAS REPEATEDLY SAID…
“…Stem cell research is the key to developing cures for degenerative conditions”
ANIMAL TESTING—HORSES, HOGS & FARM ANIMALS
Horses: All ingredients in the PrimiCell® have been fed to horses for many years with no negative side effects whatsoever. Based upon those results, the product was given in low doses to thoroughbreds overseas. The doses were gradually raised until an effective dose was determined. Hundreds of horses have now taken the product, with a slight formula modification to increase the efficacy for horses (Equine Regen® Plus), and no bad side effects have been noted. The horses have been mostly performance horses, thoroughbreds, polo ponies, cutting horses, and barrel racers. Anecdotal comments by horse owners have noted many benefits including, quicker recovery after exercise, horse puts forth more effort yet is still more manageable, hoof strength improved.
To re-confirm product safety, under the direct supervision of a veterinarian in Aiken, South Carolina, horses were fed five times the recommended daily serving for three months. Complete blood work was done before the trial started and at one month, two months, and three months. Only healthy horses were used in the trial and at the end of the trial all horses’ blood work showed no adverse effect. The product is not administered on a strict mg/kg basis; it is recommended that 10 grams a day be given to adult horses. The horses in the trial weighted between 900 and 1,100 lbs. The normal dosage for the horses in the trial was from 20 to 24 mg/kg and at five times the daily dosage the horses received between 100 and 120 mg/kg. The veterinarian’s observations at the completion of the trial was that all horses appeared to have a shinier coat, the horses responded better to riders and trainers, hoof growth was significantly accelerated, hoof quality was significantly improved, and several had put on additional weight in what appeared to be more muscle.
The increase in circulating primitive cells was a surprise…ranging from 957% to 1,524%. (Fig 7)
Figure 7
Laminitis. There have been no scientific tests for efficacy related to laminitis. However, there have been many incidences in both Overseas and the United states where severe cases of laminitis that have not responded to long term treatment have gone away after one to three months on the product. Additional studies need to be done to confirm this is not coincidence.
Hogs. Based on a client’s request, we conducted a four-week study on young show hogs. All hogs were healthy and in the 50 lb range when the trial started. The trial was a double blind, placebo controlled test to determine what if any effect the PrimiCell® would have on the hogs. The blood test from the hogs showed no blood issues as a result of the trial and circulating primitive cells significantly increased. Hogs in the PrimiCell®groupputonmoreweightthantheothergroups.
BOTTOM LINE: BASED ON MULTIPLE TESTS IN MULTIPLE COUNTRIES, PRIMICELL® WORKS ON HUMANS, HORSES, HOGS, DOGS, MICE & FARM ANIMALS
MAN’S BEST FRIEND—ALONG WITH VETERINARIANS, DOG TRAINERS, CLINICIANS & PET PARENTS—KNOW THAT OUR PRIMICELL® INFUSED CANINE REGEN® PRODUCT TREATS HELPS BUILD HEALTHIER, HAPPIER & MORE ACTIVE DOGS!
Shortly after we developed our equine product—Equine Regen® Plus —we began receiving communication from people, who had given the human version, PrimiCell®, to their dogs and they were praising the benefits. We felt we needed to immediately do testing to confirm our belief. The trial was performed on 20 dogs that were under constant supervision of a veterinarian in Aiken, South Carolina. The dogs were given blood test measuring over 20 aspects of the blood prior to being placed on the PrimiCell® product. Seven weeks later, all blood work showed no adverse effects. (Fig 8).
Due to time pressure and logistical issues, circulating primitive cells were not counted. The Veterinarian in charge made some observations that were all positive related to coat appearance, stamina, recovery, and responsiveness.
Figure 8
The results of a study with dogs in South Carolina closely resembled the similar study with humans. The average percent increase in circulating primitive cells after two weeks was 96.2% and at the end of four weeks the average percent increase was 281.3% The Veterinarian in charge has observed improvement in the 5 major areas, Appearance, Performance, Behavior, Attitude, and Responsiveness.
Figure 9
In Summary—Years of Clinical Research on Humans, Horses, Farm Animals & Dogs— prove beyond a doubt that PrimiCell® is a safe, breakthrough product that works!

Bookies taking bets on Trump’s weight and whether he’ll wear MAGA hat in mugshot during Georgia surrender
Josh Marcus
Wed, August 23, 2023 at 6:11 PM EDT·2 min read
Donald Trump, who has sold steaks, buildings, ties, digital trading cards, and many other things with his name on them, is never someone who has missed an opportunity to make a little money, and it seems bookies are taking a similar approach to the former president’s indictment in Georgia for alleged election meddling.
Online bookmakers are now taking bets on seemingly every aspect of Mr Trump’s expected surrender on Thursday to Fulton County officials, ranging from the former president’s weight to his tie colour to whether he’ll wear one of his signature Make American Great Again hats.
Betting site BetOnline.ag is placing the betting line on Mr Trump’s weight at 278.5 pounds, well above his weight of 244 pounds in 2020 recorded by White House physicians.
The service is also offering bets on which shade Mr Trump’s skin will appear if he’s photographed in a mug shot, with suggested categories like MAGA Mango, Oompa Loompa Orange, and Marm-a-Lago Orange.
Earlier this week, Mr Trump wrote on social media about the charges he’s facing in Georgia, saying he was “going to Atlanta, Georgia, on Thursday to be arrested by a radical left district attorney.”
When he arrives in the state, he’ll surrender to authorities at Atlanta’s Fulton County Jail, where officials have suggested that despite his unique status as a former president, he’ll still be treated like a normal inmate being booked. Prison leaders have said the facility will be on a “ hard lockdown” when Mr Trump is in the building along with his Secret Service detail.
“Unless someone tells me differently, we are following our normal practices and so it doesn’t matter your status, we’ll have a mugshot ready for you,” Fulton County Sheriff Patrick Labat said at a press conference this month.

Once he is processed, the former president will be released back into the public ahead of his trial on 13 counts, including violating Georgia’s organised crime RICO statute.
Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis gave Mr Trump and his co-defendants until 25 August to surrender.
The facility where Mr Trump will be processed has suffered from numerous problems in the past, holding twice its original capacity of 1,300 inmates. Six people have died in Fulton County Jail this year, and a report from the Southern Center for Human Rights has documented outbreaks of Covid, lice, scabies, and widespread malnourishment among inmates.

Scientists Treat Severe Injuries in One Eye With Stem Cells From the Other
Patients’ own stem cells could help them recover from chemical burns that damaged a single eye, a small, preliminary study suggests

With a groundbreaking, experimental surgery, scientists have treated four patients with extreme injuries in one eye by transplanting stem cells from each individual’s healthy eye.
“Case-by-case reports of those four patients have shown an improvement in quite a few parameters and definitely a decrease in their pain and symptoms,” Ula Jurkunas, an ophthalmologist at Massachusetts Eye and Ear and first author of the new study, tells Science Friday’s Ira Flatow in a radio interview.
For example, Phil Durst, one of the study participants, had suffered a chemical burn and was “completely blind with debilitating headaches” prior to the procedure, he tells Laura Ungar of the Associated Press (AP). Now, however, he sees well enough to drive.
While the small, preliminary study didn’t seek to quantify how effective the treatment was, it demonstrated the procedure is possible, without any known immediate dangers, the researchers reported last week in the journal Science. A larger, longer-term trial is currently studying the effectiveness of this treatment.
“I think that we showed that it is feasible to employ [the] body’s own stem cells and to grow them and to place them back in a patient, and it’s also safe,” Jurkunas says to Science Friday of the preliminary study. “The efficacy data is the next step for us to show.”
The new treatment is meant to help people with limbal stem cell deficiency, an eye condition that can result in pain, blindness and a thinning of the cornea, or the eye’s transparent outer tissue. It occurs when stem cells in the limbus—a part of the eye around the cornea—fail to repair and regrow the cornea’s surface after an injury, such as from chemical burns, radiation or toxins, according to Columbia University.
Eye injuries can sometimes be treated with cornea transplants, but if patients have limbal stem cell deficiency, a cornea transplant won’t work.
Currently, other kinds of limbal stem cell transplants come with drawbacks—they involve either a large biopsy from a patient’s healthy eye, which can put that eye at risk, or they require donor cells, which the recipient’s eye can reject, Jurkunas tells Time’s Jamie Ducharme.
In the new study, the researchers took a small biopsy from the limbus of each patient’s healthy eye, then separated the stem cells from the rest of the biopsied tissue. They then grew the stem cells in a lab for a couple of weeks before transplanting them into the patient’s injured eye, per the AP.
The trial enrolled five patients, and four of them received transplants. The other participant’s biopsied cells did not grow successfully in the lab, so their treatment could not be completed. The researchers followed the four transplant recipients for 12 months. Vision improved for two of these patients following the procedure, and for the two others, the operation prepared them for a cornea transplant.
The research is “a really exciting” proof of concept, Julie Schallhorn, an ophthalmologist at the University of California, San Francisco, who was not involved in the study, tells NBC News’ Theresa Tamkins, Jessica Klingbaum and Kristen Dahlgren.
“It’s a very, very difficult-to-treat condition,” she says to the publication. “There are really not any good solutions for it right now.”
Around 1,000 people each year in the U.S. have damage in one eye but can’t receive a cornea transplant, Jurkunas tells Time. However, since the experimental treatment involves taking stem cells from a healthy eye, it wouldn’t work for people who have suffered damage to both eyes.
The next phase of the research will follow participants for 18 months and include 15 patients, per the AP.
This new treatment is “very promising, and hopefully, if successful, it would be a good option for complicated cases,” Sezen Karakus, an ophthalmologist at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine who did not contribute to the findings, tells NBC News.

Stop taxing marijuana companies as illegal dealers
Marijuana retailers end up paying corporate taxes that are much higher than those paid by retail businesses. Congress should change the 280E tax law that puts them at a disadvantage.

I don’t care about the competition, Marimed is opening new dispensaries and have more coming online soon. Just so you know, I do the same thing you do…buy a lot of shares when it bottoms out and cash in on the rebound. Only, I don’t make negative posts to discourage people from investing in a solid company with a great business model. You on the other hand, are a scumbag.

Pot prices have tanked. Dispensaries are closing. Is a great crash coming?
It’s been five years since Massachusetts’ first recreational marijuana shops opened. All hasn’t been going entirely according to plan.
