Perfectly stated, Mike. If this is not a scam, then why does our CEO behave like it is one?
Happy 18 month anniversary of our ALZ data release at CTAD in December 2022.
What a s$&t show this stock has been since that time. “Congratulations on all the progress.” What BS this company and its minions spin.
Be patient—in 9 more years, we should have an answer.
This AI data doesn’t seem to suggest we should be paying our CEO tens of millions for this “performance.”
Congratulations to you, as well as the potential patients who will benefit from this treatment.
There is something to be said about being truthful. The old childhood adage applies: “Speak the truth, and you won’t have to remember the story.”
I guess Neuren didn’t feel the need to withhold data for 18 months for it to be published in some as yet unknown journal.
Yes, it must be nice to be a Neuren shareholder. I am envious.
Most likely nothing, nada, zero, zilch….similar to the past 9 years.
I am unsure if it was the “full” amount, but I did read through the proxy materials I was sent—particularly the compensation section—and the BOD’s aversion to having some oversight placed upon their compensation policies. The amount of money that DM has received through salary, bonus, and stock options seems misaligned to the company’s “progress” to date. It is another red flag for me.
Sounds wonderful, until you look at the SP. Something isn’t adding up.
Wow, you are invoking St. Anselm to justify DM’s shady behavior and exorbitant salary comparative to trial successes/approvals to date. I am not as trusting of DMs intentions as you seem to be.
Perhaps next time contemplate on St. Ignacious Loyola, who wrote that “Love is shown more in deeds than words.”
I’ve been hearing this for 9 years.
Kund:
Whether he has worked hard or not is not as relevant as to whether he has lead the company successfully. That is an unequivocal no, so for him to receive this compensation is obscene.
I am so glad that DM received his full bonus. I will be able to sleep much better tonight knowing he has received a bonus for a trial failure.
Only in America!
Yes, according to this board, several are adding shares, yet the price continues to languish.
Go figure!
Yes, George, there has been a lot of “painting the tape” these past 9 years.
Seems the preferred paint color is always red.
Down nearly 55 cents in 2 trading days.
Keep up the great work, Misslimg!
I wish you were correct, but unfortunately you are not.
I take no pride or pleasure in stating that I own 25K of this POS.
I don’t care if you believe me or not, but since July 2015 I’ve been a member of this loser company. In this time, I’ve become well acquainted with the WACKOS & WGTers.
You really don’t have a sense of humor.
Owning this stock will do that to a person. You have my condolences.
He pays no attention to the SP because it’s a daily reminder of how incompetent and ineffective he has been.
It is an inconvenient fact that shareholders do very much pay attention to it.
What an idiotic, arrogant, and insensitive statement to make. Isn’t that similar to a professional sports coach stating they don’t pay attention to the score, or wins and losses.
Believe me, the Nvidia CEO pays attention to the SP—that’s why they just announced a 10 for 1 share split so more shareholders could afford to buy shares. All our CEO has accomplished is a Reverse split.
What a loser’s lament—we don’t pay attention to the SP.
Twas in humor—may I suggest you develop one. You’ll need it as a shareholder of this POS.
I agree with Kund on this. During the December 2023 CC, DM sounded so forlorn that it was apparent he knew the Rett results were disappointing. This is when he revealed the EMA information, perhaps as a way to soften the blow. From a SP perspective, to date this has not worked.
BTW, we are fast approaching 18 months (one and one-half years) since our infamous December 2022 CTAD debacle.
Happy Anniversary, fellow shareholders!!
“When I look at his face I see an honest man.”
I hope you don’t play poker.
For me, it’s earlobes. When I look at his earlobes, I envision a lot of wax inside his ears. That’s why DM is always asking for the person to repeat the question on CCs.
Too many honorary members of the Flat Earth Society on this board. I envision shopping carts outside their houses, piles of paper and cats everywhere inside the house.
Watch an episode of Hoarders and you’ll get the idea.
Yes, that was a sleazy maneuver. It also went against the WGT narrative that Missling was altruistic. That was a gut punch, no doubt. After that maneuver, my attitude towards his leadership, or lack thereof, changed. I had overlooked or justified many of DMs shortcomings prior to this event. I can no longer do that.
Thanks for the “timely” information. Then again, we may be waiting 6 years to get our full ALZ data published.
This company will likely become a case study—I just hope it will be for the better.
I’ve said this as well. He dresses like he is going to a 1800s Jane Austen ballroom dance.
I don’t mean any malice in this next statement, since I have a few family members and friends whom also fit into this category. My observation from afar is that DM MAY have Asperger's syndrome. He is obviously highly intelligent, but seems to lack some of the “soft” skills of the human condition, such as reading body language and interpersonal communication. People with this condition very often need to be reminded about proper etiquette and personal hygiene. They also very often come across socially as aloof, awkward, and detached—very often unable to be empathetic towards others’ emotions and feelings.
Bill Gates & Steve Jobs both admitted publicly that they had Asperger's. Fortunately for them and their companies, they were successful despite (and perhaps because) of this condition. Unfortunately, this MAY be a factor inhibiting Anavex from getting the message out to the broader community.
Just a possible thought to ponder.
Derailment
On the surface, it would seem that preserving brain volume would be a positive outcome. However, this information release has done little to convince CNS medical experts or WS, as the SP continues to languish.
And SOTC is high quality, unbiased research?
And if she spoke glowingly, you’d be singing her praises.
Give me a break!
Tom looks in the rear view mirror and tells you what has already happened. His predictive value is no better than H/T on a quarter. He just likes to describe it as if he has discovered Euclidean mathematics. Just another windbag on this board.
Sure wish I had bought Nvidia than this Missling POS stock 9 years ago.
Oh well…..
Let’s hope you are correct—too much foot dragging and delaying in the past.
Time to get the ball rolling—and soon!
My take is our cash runway is no longer 4 years, unless they are volunteering their time.
I will agree with you that there are “several morons” on this board. Where we will most likely disagree on is the identity of those morons.
Moron #1 is our CEO.
I guess we’ll just have to agree to disagree on that.
I also think of the millions of patients who have yet to be treated with blarcamesine because our CEO has been dragging his feet to get this to market. He is a genius in the science of procrastination. The only thing he delivers in a timely manner is ensuring his personal options vest.
I think you’ll outlive us all.
As far as being heartless, maybe your anger should be directed firmly at our CEO (a.k.a. “the genius”). I can assure you that I have no impact on when/if this drug EVER makes it to market. On the other hand, “the genius” is where much of your fate rests. I wouldn’t want to have to rely on him to deliver, so you would be wise to pursue other medical options.
IF it receives an approval….sheesh!
Look at the bright side—you’ve managed to wait 10 years for this drug to be approved. What’s another 10 years?
If that is not reassuring, then think of all the cheap options DM, the proclaimed financial genius, will accumulate to enhance his financial well being.
