As the stock price tanks the deal that is inked with Canopy looks sweeter to me. For those that missed it, Canopy Growth is lending Terrascend 80 plus million dollars and put it out there that they are interested in 15% of C.TER in the future, in the same kind of deal that Canopy has with Acreage. A lot has changed with respect to shareprice evaluations but these deals are inked by lawyers and are meant to stand on the trigger date. The world is busy with Coronavirus so the chances of the States getting SAFE, MORE or descheduling marijuana at the Federal level, or some other event to help launch the greenrush in the US could take a little longer. Maybe Bernie Sanders can push the legalization agenda for marijuana that he is proposing and get this done. It is inevitable imho. glta and dyodd
I wanna think the way u do and I'm even on the bid but having a product and having it on a shelf is two different things, especially in California. I think this has a ton of potential but the consumer is the referee and calls the shots. I love the idea of an infused lozenge and I like what I see from Chryopharm, so much so that I wish I could invest directly in Chropharm.
Scaredy sheeples are affecting everybody but the golds. Value added marijuana companies are not immune no matter what they are doing. On that subject, Tinley is moving forward albeit at the speed of government, as the law and policy makers drag their anchor for fear of making mistakes. I don't know how the coronavirus is affecting our stock price other than it was going to be something to get the herd moving after a lengthy bullrun. I can certainly understand that airline stocks are going to get a hurting and I guess oil companies too with less demand from all of those people staying home to keep from catching the virus. During slow times consumers still like to vice and spend money to feel good about themselves. Enter Big Alcohol or...………..Tinley thc infused, low cal, fun beverage, to take your mind off things. No hangover and possible health benefits too. Somebody on another sight even threw it out there that pot quickens the cure time of coronavirus, in which case, we should fly off the shelves and be Internationally consumed immediately. Don't eat that Elmer, 'cause I think it's bullchit but cannabinoids were segueyed into legality because of their medicinal properties, perceived or real! Tinley has well formulated, award winning products that have been market tested and tweaked. They are on shelves for consumers to buy in California with eyes for other places like Canada eh! and also Nevada. They have a brand new bottling facility wholly owned by Tinley waiting for final licensing so we can reduce costs for our own bottling and generate revenue by bottling other's products in a state of the art facility in Long Beach California. We have also been approached for clean and sober beverage offerings that some feel will be in great demand as adult flavours. This has happened and these too are on shelves for consumers. I also believe that we have money in the coffers and our whole effort has been done frugally with positive results. Our shareprice has lost some of its exuberance as the greenrush is getting a slap-down across the boards. I haven't sold a share and despite some heavy competition throwing their hat into the ring, I think we are still ahead of Canopy/Constellation's efforts and most recent delay. Time and the bottom line will tell the story. I think we won't see the 200 bagger stockprices of days gone by but I can imagine a 20 or 30 bagger for a market disruptor to unhealthy alcohol when the consumer catches on. glta and dyodd
Holding its own of late even though just about every other pot stock is getting taken out back of the woodshed. Latest interview was pretty good, I thought, and made mention of thc and cbd offerings in California. Raised some money to keep the lights on and I'm pretty sure I heard profitable this year. Californians are pro health and natural product and led the way for medical marijuana and our formulators and manufacturers have some inviting looking packaging plus blueberry goodness in a nice meltie lozenge type of delivery, I think plus Neutrisci will get a new territory for its energy product. California sales could be the gamechanger. glta and dyodd
link to recap of STZ/CGC/ACRGF deal worth a re-mention.
https://stockhouse.com/news/press-releases/2020/02/14/acreage-announces-resignation-of-board-member-bill-weld-to-focus-on
I don't know much about Weld but he might be able to help carry the positives for the US greenrush to US politicians.
The greenrush needs a solid catalyst after the beatdown across the greenrush. Canadian potpreneurs have been strangled by policy and lawmakers that are fearful of legal pot. In Canada it is going to take more than medical pot! It also needs recreational and better delivery methods, like edibles and drinkables. Canada has thrown the anchor out with missed dates and restricted outlets and are just now getting ahead of this. A solid indication from US lawmakers that will launch the great American greenrush will be the most catalyzing event and I daresay, official launch, that we have arrived. It is going to happen, but that is no guarantee that Acreage will be successful but I like what is happening despite the shareprice. Our management is moving this forward and have financing. Waiting on government is never easy or quick but some of the smartest minds in the marijuana business and beverage business have set this up for success, even inking the deal with Acreage despite the cloud hanging over their head. That deal was genius, and essential for Canopy to be a world leader. You can't ignore the progress being made by potpreneurs in the US, using every legal angle they can, to develop bona fide marijuana and value added products as well as hemp offerings. The writing is on the wall and it will be to the will of the people. glta and dyodd
I totally agree about a great interview. A bunch of money to boot! Those lenders obviously feel pretty good about our prospects. What I got from the interview is that we are very close to getting cbd and thc products on shelves in California and we have enough money to keep this ball rolling. Now it is up to the consumer to weigh in, which is all that counts providing we can keep our products on the shelves for those consumers that I am expecting. glta and dyodd
CGC/WEED needs that deal that is inked to go through. Acreage has critical pieces and Canopy's price is down too. The US market is essential to Canopy Growth's success. The value paid when the deal was struck wasn't outside the norms for that type of deal and queering that deal or even trying to, puts you in the position of trying to duplicate it with a different entity. Acreage continues to pick up essential pieces and no doubt that Canopy is giving direction. Investors seem to have forgotten that the deal exists and could be triggered very quickly when the threat from the US Feds is eliminated. The deal was inked with a purpose and protection in mind for Canopy to have control of all the moving parts of Acreage which will be essential to world domination and leader of the pack.
recent monthly report on thecse.com says they have defined the deal with AriZona Iced Tea. AriZona is a triple unicorn private company and you have seen their products on shelves everywhere. If Dixie can use their know-how with cannabinoids and combine it with what AriZona brings to the table, we will have a winner.

I dumped 10 k in at .60c and at the time thought it was cheap. I didn't imagine they would screw up the ipo like I believe they did. The bones of the company are still good but they got a nasty scar from that ipo handling and the fact that they seem to be choosing to ignore shareholders and their questions. Not a private company anymore once you start to slop at the public trough. Why else would a company go public if it wasn't to access public investor's money? The current price seems unbelievably low for what they have in the way of products and brand building but they have to get somebody that is going to move past the last faux pas. I hope there's a suitor out there that will rush in and run this right as a publicly traded company. More red or black than ever now with this low shareprice.
Where did AriZona go? I thought that was a good idea to sync up with Dixie and get some infused beverages out there in a big way, although it is a tough row to hoe, judging by my other beverage investment Tinley Beverages, at least in the California marketplace. Dixie has a broad spectrum of offerings and a lot of know-how making them. They also have not been noticed by this tough market and investors. 10 years existence is nothing to sneeze at 15 lines with 100skus and BEVERAGES with AWARDS. Need some movers and shakers to bring this up to potential. glta and dyodd
This company has so much potential that I can't believe they fumbled it like they did. All of the pieces have got to be worth more than the current sp. Almost 10 years of company building in a new exciting field and so ill-equipped to handle publicly traded life. Still has hope if they get the right people to push this forward. I can see cbd in chocolate offerings as a nicer alternative to choking down pills for aches, pains or anxiety, especially award winning products. I am a heavy believer in beverages but also less invasive forms of ingestion than smoking. Some big MSO has got to be interested in what we have developed and won awards for. jmho, glta and dyodd
I attribute our latest little flurry of appreciation to CNN and other media that are raising the issue and making mention of us as viable.
Been a lot of icecream dished out to try to hide the turd that this has become and it looks like there are no takers. Amazing nrs suggesting advances and deals that turned out to be fictional or incomplete and shareholders are seeing through it and moving on to competition.
Yea and what is missing is excitement and or a nr from management. It did stir up shareholders though!
Gold has its place for events like wars and currency devaluations because it is a world wide recognized form of value (currency). My bet is a US currency devaluation before ww3 and that little bag of real gold will make the goldbugs very happy and the gold certificate holders will have wiping paper.
More like a takeover target for AriZona who are already a triple unicorn company that just happens to need some thc and cbd expertise and have been sniffin' around Dixie or maybe now that it has gone quiet on that front, somebody else. It seems that Dixie does have a winner in the beverage category but I'm not sure if they are up to speed on the rapid onset and offset time for their product.
Dixie should have imho held off on their IPO as others did. Definetly not the right time to launch an ipo in the shytstorm that is taking place in the greenrush. I am struggling with the idea of averaging down on Dixie and Bhang, both of them ipo'd and tanked while others pulled back on their launch dates.
This is where the buckwheat and the bs get separated. There are going to be a few winners and a lot of losers. I still see beverages for coming out on top of the revenue generation over other edibles and smoking forms of consumption. Big Booze does too, which is why they are positioning themselves to be a part of the change of consumers looking for healthier options than alcohol and cannabinoid benefits for health. glta and dyodd
Mighty quiet for a company that has done so much and are on the verge of big things happening. Beverages and Tinley is pure beverage adult thc infused and sober curious adult flavours with no alcohol or thc. Cott people built this company and have done a lot in a short time and have thc infused award winning beverages on shelves in California and are on the path for final approval of their own bottling facility in California's Long Beach with a tax haven.
I am expecting big things or a buy out at a great premium because they have formulated, market tested and tweaked thc infused products and are far ahead of Tilray (100 million dollars to formulate beverages) Canopy/Constellation and other Big Alcohol guys like AB InBev and such. They also say they have contracts lined up for Canada with bottlers, lps and a distributor. glta and dyodd
It looks like the potential of a deal with AriZona iced tea is a wash. Announced and then nothing! That deal would have been great for both companies imho if handled properly. I am convinced that beverages are going to take the lion's share of the pot market.
I hate to think that so much potential has been ruined because they didn't know how to act as a publicly traded company. Going public gives access to public investors money and those people who invest want to know that their interest is being represented by management. I am in a quandary trying to decide to average down or get out. 9 years and 100 skus and awards has got to be worth something in the right hands????
I watched and what slapped me in the face was that Hound needs a 2 minute blow or that is what was said. A steady 2 minutes would kill me. Can't be although when Cannabix first came out it took some huffin' and puffin' to get it to read too.
The time is right for this device and I still like Cannabix and they did mention that Yost and some other guy are responsible for the latest improvement which means that he is still in the picture, which is good imho. glta and dyodd
We're not getting the juicy stuff as far as nrs. We've got to be on the verge of some serious concern announcements or as I like to call it: real news. Canadian lp/bottler was what I was looking for and we got news about the distributor. Canadian innovation launched the greenrush and typical of Canada's "nice" politicians and policy makers, have done everything in their power to allow legal rec cannabis for adults and strangled it at every turn, especially the phase 2 edibles and in Tinley's case drinkables. No news could be good news if we are flying below the radar and have a deal with Canopy Growth to utilize their magic ingredient and new, excess-capacity bottlingline.
Long Beach facility is rumoured to be waiting on a transformer or something hard to get to get final approval and get it kicked into gear. As I recall the rent is $18k a month and this has been dragging out for awhile. If I was ram-rodding this big money generator I would be breaking heads to get it done. Maybe our team have been doing too many sampling opportunities and product quality testing and are having a little trouble getting this done because of it.
We have definitely gone off the radar of investors and are long overdue to get some conventional advertising going. Point of sale neck ringers and shelf talkers aren't going to be seen by anybody that doesn't frequent the dispensaries. I know there's rules for ads which need to be addressed with lobbying to at least get a level playing field with Alcohol. Very un-American and long overdue, unless we are selling out everything we can get on shelves. Might perk the interest of investors though. Loss of interest and no investors seems to be the norm lately and this needs to change. glta and dyodd
Management shakeout today. New CEO sounds like a mover and a shaker. Bet now or wait and see what kind of damage has been done. Watching for insider share dump after the nr.
Just can't get any traction. Potpreneurs are not getting any respect or shareprice appreciation and won't until they show positive financials, runaway product sales or a buyout offer.
There is already a deal inked for Acreage to be under Canopy Growth's umbrella which is currently controlled by Constellation Beverage with a $3 billion plus deal, when it can happen legally in the US which is going to take descheduling, MORE and SAFE Act being written into law or possibly some US/Canada trade deal, swinging open the doors for international products to move freely across borders. There was already something like $270 million that went from Canopy to Acreage's coffers and was distributed as a one time dividend.
Acreage has already got the takeout deal in the works so don't need Medmen or anybody else. Medmen could be a takeover target for Acreage though when they tank Medmen.
I hear ya! Bad timing is only the small part of this lacklustre launch. This management was totally unprepared to do what new ipos must do which is to take care of the shareholders. Their latest presentation was good and this company has good bones with 100 skus and a near 10 year survival rate, which very likely has shareholders in doubt that this will continue. Shareprice and volume are barometers of sentiment by investors and maybe these guys should have held off on the ipo until the tide turns on the sentiment for the greenrush. I jumped on board too early when I already felt that the sp was beat down. Commonsense tells me to average down but my gut tells me to hang on to my dough. Dixie seems to be doing better and they have the same kind of pedigree and a potential beverage deal in the works with AriZona Iced Tea.
Tinley is coming together as fast as politics will allow. Any day now, we will hear about the licensed facility being up and running. Also the Canadian lp/bottler of our Canadian offerings. We already know they have distribution lined up for Canada and the foot draggin' on announcing the bottler gives me an inkling of hope that it is Canopy who just happen to fit the bill for licensed producer and have a huge bottling line with over-capacity built in as does Tinley's bottling line in Long Beach. I'm not as enthused about the Canadian effort as the California marketplace because Canada seems to be strangling the efforts of phase 2 with highly limited dispensaries and packaging rules in addition to advertising. The US is more progressive in those regards and the pressure on the Feds is mounting for MORE, SAFE or descheduling marijuana at the Federal level. Let the great US greenrush begin! Tinley is doing well considering the potholes in the playing field that keep showing up. I don't know what the issue is in California but you don't build a 20 million dollar plant to have the deal queered by some government lacky. The major pot stocks seem to be turning around for the better, maybe in anticipation of US getting it together for rec use at the Federal level. jmho, glta and dyodd
|I hope u got in at the bottom. I totally missed the once removed connection but it is there for AriZona.
Neutrisci who apparently still have some deal pending with EAT/SPLIF had an ad on BNN Bloomberg today. That is new as far as I know. Probably can't hurt, although I don't know if it will help stem the fall of Nut High.
You are absolutely right. World leader might be a stretch. How about: one of the first out of the gate and probably best known, at least in Canada. This is too rapid changing to really get a handle on the numbers to make that determination. I have ACB on my radar too but they have a billion shares out and then there is Aphinor, also on my radar but not in my portfolio. I actually sold most of my Canopy shares and plunked some serious coin into Acreage, keeping my fingers crossed and sphincter puckered in the hopes that this comes together somehow to trigger the deal to deal that they made. glty and dyodd
I'm not sure as I haven't seen anything other than social media which can be misleading. If you've got a link you can post it would be appreciated. I use SH and they aren't banging on all cylinders sometimes so they miss the nrs or don't post them.
I made a note on my file that we could expect news by the end of next week in regards to AriZona and Dixie. They should have all the stuff to pull this off and Arizona is well recognized in the beverage biz.
I'm hoping for a bigger pop than the 40% ish that we got if the deal gels and they can get some product out there.
Hang on tight, it should be a heck of a ride if it happens. glta and dyodd
Investors didn't get the memo or got caught up in the wicked attrition that is happening across the boards for marijuana companies. Don't forget that there is a deal pending for Acreage to be a part of the world leader of all things marijuana. Acreage is critical to the overall success because without the US Canopy won't be the leader. Acreage put together a world class deal that is waiting for some legislation in the US to make the deal legal because of their efforts to pick up crucial pieces for Canopy who are the guys writing the book for the world to follow for legal rec and pharma marijuana and hemp use.
Politicians are fearful but know that they will have to do this. Canadians led the way by legalizing rec use for adults and are working on phase 2 edibles to provide nicer forms of consumption than smoking. That isn't to say that some US States are sitting on their hands, which they aren't. There are lots of well established marijuana and hemp businesses in the US that are navigating the rules and regulations of State law to supply whatever they can legally and Acreage made deals with a lot of them. Canopy recognized the value of those deals and did a deal to deal to integrate both companies for the US part of world dominance. Acreage is US listed and traded as is Canopy Growth symbol CGC and US investors are fully on board despite the lack of Federal approval. About 20 million CGC shares by US investors being bought and sold as the inevitable legislation moves closer to what the people want. Don't miss out. They are all on sale right now imho. glta and dyodd
Is our management mortally wounded. Not even a hand put out to break our fall. I noticed another similar company of about the same calibre and track record, Dixie got about a 40% bump up on a couple of marginal nrs.
I know it has been a shytshow for greenrush stocks but these guys have done some heavy lifting and then dropped the ball. It looks like we have taken the stance of nobody move nobody gets hurt, except the investors they went to for funds. Clearly not ready for public life and totally ignored the shareholders who supported their ipo.
Nice move today but I want to see the AriZona deal happen. Beverages are going to be the big volume method of consumption, displacing a lot of alcohol sales for a safer, healthier alternative vice and then of course there are the patients that are going to medicate with them rather than pills, although I think CBD has a place in chocolate as nicer than choking down pills.
I tried to post a pic from FB that somebody put up with some nice bud on top of an AriZona Iced Tea can. I hope they know something about future synergies for these two. The Sundial deal was a bit of a surprise but might fit the whole picture scenario for Dixie to manufacture AriZona's infused version of beverages.
AriZona is a multi-unicorn that could be the answer to Dixie's fund raising efforts. Beverages could be huge and Big Alcohol is positioning and watching others dipping their toes into unchartered waters with intent of stemming their declines in sales of alcohol style beverages.
There is a 3 billion dollar deal pending on descheduling marijuana at the Federal level or even getting the SAFE Banking Act passed, might be enough to trigger it and Acreage is in the crosshairs as the beneficiary of that value. Acreage needs to keep the jigsaw pieces viable until the Feds back off of their redneck Nixon war on drugs campaign, that is getting a little old considering they are developing a flourishing greenrush business using any angles that potpreneurs Stateside can muster.
Canopy Growth saw the value of Acreage and the "fit" to their plan that those pieces entailed. Canopy imho, was the most "visionary" cannabinoid company under Bruce Linton's direction and others followed in his path. He set up Canopy for dominance in the field and Acreage is a part of it and the US is essential to the plan.
Some of the strong, well financed greenrush companies are going to flourish and the multitude are going to fail, so pick your investments well.
I like Canopy Growth's chances, even with Constellation driving the bus. glta and dyodd
New blood in and old blood out. More dilution and free shares wandering out the door. Shares for debt too. I am fearful that the new blood will be our assassin. The old guard, it seems, can't find their azz with both hands.
Interesting read. Thanks for posting. Full of optimism. The negativity hanging over cannabinoid companies is relentless. I fell in love with this company prematurely and watched the struggles when the pressure was on. They seem ill-equipped to deal with public life. Shareholders first.
Lots of news to come. SP has firmed up with new line of products and additions to other lines.
Should hear about Canada partners and Cali LongBEach should get cleared to go. Should have a CSE Monthly report out due 5th Nov.
