Thanks, good article.
Almost blase'. I think someone in Titan asked for this to be written. It's not as if we have ever gotten much coverage.
I agree; pushing this on doctors at this time does nothing. Even if it looks great.
Venture capital is all that matters. Or partnering. I'm afraid we get nothing on an all out sale unless you bought in at well under a buck.
No one is left that wants to buy these dribs and drabs of offerings with the current history and lack of recognition.
...and there are always delays.
I think McNally is going to learn big from this, BIG TIME. Whatever mojo he thought he was bringing to the table... he just got schooled that THEY NEED EXPOSURE, FINANCIAL NOT MEDICAL. Screw the Patels and Columbia and SAGES, etc.., for now.
As I've said before those name drops aren't worth crap to get this thing INTO the long haul of FDA/CE.
He's got to sell this to the angels as the next f'ing Tesla, or partner up with someone wanting to contend with ISRG.
Groundhog's Day all over again.
Yes, and two years.
I'm excited. How about you?
Hey, McNally is the greatest. He's just gauging market interest in this turd called Titan.
McNally and Titan Medical should be camped out on Verb's doorstep BEGGING them to be a test platform. Begging to be purchased lock, stock, and barrel.
Should be down the block from Ximedica for godsakes.
NO reason to be Canadian at all. Who's Rayman?
Agree.
Being on the SAB doesn't mean they have done any real work with him or his institute. It also has very little to do with him or his institute "betting" in SPORT/Titan, or laying any reputation on the line. He is an advisor, not a product rep or staff designer. I'd like him to be able to advise Titan to hurry the f*** up.
Is Patel's institute testing SPORT? Is Patel visiting Ximedica? Has McNally ever set foot there?
Advisory Boards are mostly BS, except for subjective marketing cred, and Titan has nothing to market right now. I agree it is eye candy for Titan at this point in time, but unless I see something concrete, nothing else.
Nice self-promo video for a self-proclaimed "institute".
Looks like they are hard-core daVinci users and can twiddle the knobs really fast. What's this got to do with Titan getting to the FDA?
Having Patel on board right now doesn't translate to anything.
I'd rather hear from McNally. How close is SPORT to FDA/CE submission? How are they going to raise money?
Look at the photos on the friggin' website. The system "looks" done.
Well, apparently still 2-3 years away says McNally. Yea, tell me there is a big team of Ximedica people working on it.
"Nevah!..Nevah!!!!!"
-sincerely,
Titan Management
We interrupt this broadcast:
"The misery will continue unabated"
-sincerely,
Titan Management
Associated in name (historically speaking) only. You think on a day to day basis there is ANYTHING happening between Titan and Mayo Clinic or Columbia.
My major medical institution's name can be dropped by hundreds of companies, projects, R&D ideas, etc... doesn't mean diddly is happening.
AMEN BROTHER!!!!
He has to look outside because with no icing no one inside (that's us) will buy 75 million more of this crap.
If Verb wants to incorporate SPORT as a compatible platform, and SPORT WOULD be perfect for that, then WTF are we twisting in the wind for here? Titan would be insane not to jump on that opportunity, and Verb would immediately make it worth their while to FINISH THE JOB and get to FDA/CE.
There would be active collaboration. Every day I don't see an announcement of that makes me skeptical of it being real.
No solid factual information to be had.
McNally says 3 years and what, 75 million.
That's the last anyone has heard.
Agreed!
He sure does.
But what does he do for a living?
Mustang, interesting take on the hiring notices. What I find difficult to accept however, is that if the decision to go with Titan really only was triggered recently by McNally, what was Verb working on all this time, just to throw it out the window? They are giving that all up?
But I have to say it was a strange intro to a job description. Almost unnecessary you would think. Why throw the Gen 1, Next Gen stuff out there at all; I'm sure they are are going to attract top candidates for their positions in any case.
And then the biggest question: all this kept under wraps?
Read.

They state:
“Next generation technologies” is the best way to describe this role. There comes a time in a commercial endeavor when you have to draw a line in order to get “Gen 1” to the market. Yet, there are so many other possibilities and technologies that still need to be pursued and developed further for the “Next Gen” of the system.
My take is that they are finished with Gen 1, ie. their version of a "design freeze". New hires will be to do "Next generation".
Get it now? How do you interpret this?
VERB Research Mechatronics Engineer

Strangely worded job descriptions as far as this old guy is concerned. Must be for millenials. Anyway, my continued impression is that Titan is not in the Verb picture. Haven't read through them all yet though. Sounds like they got a lot worked out over their lattes, laptops, and carrot muffins. Verb Gen 1 is finished. Hey Titan, please look over your shoulder and get your ass in gear.
I think you are onto something there.
Or a new video? Or a serious promotional article?
McNally's talk was well-intentioned but a dud, sorry to say.
Haven't seen or felt much different going on from what was prior management, have you?
Not deceptive. I was referring to his recent (let's say last 3 years) visible activity, which appears to be nil since 2014, that being a co-inventor on a single patent.
I am 100% long on Titan since at this pps selling for me is hardly better than betting for it to go up. But, I've never dealt with a start-up so unfathomly non-promotional and obscure about themselves. And unable to raise outside interest. I blame the two guys that were in charge.
Or, maybe SPORT is still very far from being a viable system, and we all thought (and were led to believe) it was good to go two years ago. And all that time the company president was AWOL.
You got it.
Senhance may not be to our liking, but the Germans don't usually buy crap engineering either.
Time for Titan to push this into regulatory approval. Now. But no, McNally says another 2-3 years.
Recently?
One last-listed co-inventor in 2014.
Otherwise, apparently out-to-lunch.
Dr. Rayman appears to be a non-entity as far as Titan's future is concerned. From web searching I don't get the impression that he has had anything to do with practicing medicine for a long, long time now. Is he on any Titan patents? Does he consult with Ximedica? What does he do?
Nothing that deserved the title of President.
He owns a lot of stock -- that's all.
His opinion/influence over the Hargrove years doesn't seem to be a feather in his cap.
I'm getting the feeling McNally is a wuss.
Yea, inconceivable that we can't gather steam, as THE MOST ADVANCED speculative play in surgical robotics.
What the hell ever poisoned the well for Titan this badly?
We were worth 6x as much 3 years (of development and improvement) ago. That's because submission for regulatory approval was on the calendar and rapidly approaching.
McNally - stop f'ing around and get this piece of shit on the CE or FDA doorstep. We are tired of waiting.
We don't care what color the damn foot pedals are.
Don't you know by now the pps has been actively suppressed for years to hide the secret alliances between JnJ, Google, Verb, etc.. and all their patents. Soros owns most of Titan under alias. Also, Hargrove, Fowler, and Rayman are in a witness protection program. They were going to let the cat out of the bag after the big deal fell through with Bertner's uncle in the CIA (Military battlefield applications!!). Paige Hargrove is not who she seems to be. McNally only thinks he's the CEO. And I've made a MINT shorting this thing!! I am going underground now; I think I hear helicopters at night over my house.
LOL
No. I never short; barely understand the concept.
They are not there, because they're aren't any.
There are persons in the robotic surgery community that do have criss-crossing histories to be sure. These coincidences mentioned here all the time have resulted in NOTHING concrete, at all. The only rumors are on this board, and I find it telling that the market NEVER picks up on any.
Hargrove, Fowler, and Rayman sure seemed to be tending towards isolation in the past couple years, rather than cooperation with other entities.
Don't get me wrong, I want Titan to get bought out, because they are friendless it would appear.
Well, what is your theory about why he might be presenting there, seriously? Maybe Titan hasn't paid him in a while, LOL.
If there is something big behind it all (for us stockholders), the market appears to be absolutely unaware of it, and Titan needs(?) to suffer along cashless despite it?
I agree it is an odd mix, but I think it is probably because Brar enjoys a high profile in what he does. He must believe in Titan to work for them, and that's at least positive for us.
I don't think he got invited so he can have a secret meeting with Verily and Google in the airport limo about a merger. Or, to discuss how to share IP. In fact, since this big merger has been kept so secret so long, why have anyone associated with Titan there at all?
Hope I'm wrong.
Brar has spoken at other high profile IP seminars. IPBP Global in 2015, for example.
I don't know how you get invited to these, but it may well be that he is "on the circuit" for these gatherings, probably representing medical (and pre-market R&D IP). Of course he gets paid too.
Great chance to make a plug for Titan but yes, just a coincidence.
That's my guess.
Yes, blackout again.
Personnel changes are all we know about since Hargrove got canned.
Nothing specific about: the SPORT unit, Ximedica (hardware or software)progress, manufacturing partners, clinical partners, concrete milestones in regulatory submission process, status of Toronto office, etc..
No response to 2nd letter.
No new photos.
No new videos.
No direct announcement of patents.
Perpetual blackout.
Last presentation went over like a lead balloon. Anyone disagree?
