Brar has spoken at other high profile IP seminars. IPBP Global in 2015, for example.

I don't know how you get invited to these, but it may well be that he is "on the circuit" for these gatherings, probably representing medical (and pre-market R&D IP). Of course he gets paid too.

Great chance to make a plug for Titan but yes, just a coincidence.
That's my guess.
