Agree. Saleen actively promotes the Tesla Model S
And Elon Musk doesn't seem to mind one bit.
Saleen has put together an impressive strategy and the Model S is just a small part. Electric vehicles, global presence with GreenTech in charge of distribution in China.
blah bankruptcy blah share dilution blah ripoff blah blah. Save your breath tag-team. I know the risks and don't need your repetitive input.
Saleen Tesla Model S Revealed
Saleen Tesla Model S revealed at Track Test & Tune session.
"Teslarati had the good fortune to be invited to Saleen’s Tesla Model S track test and tune session with Steve Saleen himself. What we saw went far beyond our expectations. Forum comments run the gamut, from a fully rebuilt Tesla Model S, much as Saleen cars are, to a tweaking of suspensions and tires. How can a renowned performance car magician improve an award-winning battery powered sedan? We won’t go into the full details yet, but suffice it to say, there’s laser scanning involved, exotic materials and the Bilstein touch just to name a few."

Psst: Saleen will be represented in China by WM GreenTech Automotive (WMGTA), an American company with heavy Chinese influences.
I Heard You the First 100 Times
Obviously the meaning of my comment went over your head.
If he lived in a shack
would you approve?
I suspected this from the start.
Why do you care?
We are adults. We can do our own DD. How you or anyone else feels towards Steve Saleen personally is immaterial to my investment decision.
Will stock rise or fall tomorrow?
Magic 8 Ball says: Without a doubt.
Great. I'll add more on Friday.
After I sell my existing shares for a profit.
Thanks for the info.
I know that area well.
Nice office space with established business. Might do a little detective work if my travels take me in that direction.

Will 1 Out of 2 Suffice?
1: Harbin Automotive, a Ford and Chevy dealer serving Scottsboro, Huntsville, and all of Jackson County, recently became one of an elite group of Saleen dealerships throughout the country. As one of the only Saleen locations between Nashville and Atlanta, auto enthusiasts now can find a converted Mustang and Camaro on the Harbin Automotive lot. Although supply is limited, Harbin Automotive expects to continue receiving shipments from Saleen throughout the year.

2. I'm sorry, I was distracted by the glowing press which provides a timeline showing how Saleen's very comprehensive global strategy initiative is playing out; and the very active Facebook page with over 76,000 likes and some very rabid (in a good way) fans.
Thanks - I learned a lot!

Those are my memories :)
I view iHub as a source of amusement; though gems of information can be found occasionally.
It's so easy to find info on someone these days. Google 'Joe Blow scam con' If someone has a bad rep, their name will pop up over and over again - with all the gory details. I'm not getting that with Steve, and the car & driver forums I've looked at are filled with adoring fans, not arch enemies.
I appreciate your comments; especially coming from a car & racing aficionado. It's a refreshing point-of-view, and a nice change from the 24/7 bashing that goes on here.
Looks like he's been planning something
for a very long time. And I'll take a proactive CEO over a reactive CEO anytime.
7/20/2009: Files lawsuit against MJ Acquisitions to protect Saleen name.
4/12/2012: Successfully regains control of the Saleen brand name and products that he created and built since 1984.
5/30/2013: Goes public with merger with WSTY
6/5/2013: Ticker change from WSTY to SLNN
Now, will this planning turn into something actionable? Time will tell; I'm willing to wait for awhile.
You are very good at your job.
However, I think it's a bit of a stretch to compare comic books with ads to the invention of the personal computer.
...just a teeny, tiny bit of a stretch...
P.S. I ain't your brotha, I'm your sistah :P

So many penny stocks, so little time.
Cute video clip - owwl likey ;)
Hope next week brings everyone good luck and many riches.
P.S. Better to take small profit than watch big dollars melt away to zero.
Whether or not this takes off
...this cracks me up. These apps are not complex; they don't take long to code; they are rarely (if ever) user tested. 90% of the effort goes towards marketing; 10% to development. The entrepreneurs aren't in this to make an exceptional mobile app; they hope a big company like FB will buy them out for the big bucks.
But iHookup appears to be a dime a dozen; can't see what it offers that others don't - besides being publicly traded. On the other hand, Silicon Valley is no longer about imagination, quality and innovation - so who knows - it's always in the realm of possibility that FB could snap this up. Highly unlikely, but not impossible.
I gotta say - Silicon Valley (motto: We attract con men like light attracts moths) and Penny Stocks are the perfect combination. I won't say all, but most of these dudes would run over their own mothers if it meant more profit$ for them.
It's easy to misunderstand intent
on the Internetz, so thanks for clarifying. I hope things work out positively for all who have invested in this company.
Thank you for your honesty.
I can certainly relate - I've been bitten myself.
Now we're getting somewhere.
When Tony 'Wink Wink' Stark uses REDG and 'dead and buried' in the same sentence ya gotta wonder...
Will it take off in three months or die a horrible death sometime in 2015? I pick door number 2.
GLTA
I joined the game.
I understand the risks involved.
Your posts have a hostile tone which may be unintended; do you have a personal grudge against Steve Saleen, or are your comments strictly business-related?
Deadline is September 15, 2014
On March 26, 2014, Ascent Solar Technologies, Inc. (the "Company") received approval from the NASDAQ Stock Market ("NASDAQ") to transfer its stock listing from The NASDAQ Global Market to The NASDAQ Capital Market, effective with the opening of the market on March 28, 2014. As previously disclosed on March 19, 2014, the Company was not in compliance with the NASDAQ's $1.00 minimum bid price requirement.
In connection with the transfer of the listing of the Company’s common stock to the NASDAQ Capital Market, the Company is granted an additional 180 days, or until September 15, 2014 (the "Compliance Date"), to regain compliance with the minimum bid price requirement. If the Company cannot demonstrate compliance by the Compliance Date or it does not comply with the terms of the extension granted by NASDAQ, the Company’s common stock may then be subject to delisting.
Transfer of Listing
Now why didn't I think of that!
Thanks for the advice - but you're a little late to the game. If an OTC stock perks my interest, reading the iHub board is first on my agenda. It's always nice to start the day off with a fresh cup of coffee and a good laugh.
Methinks Thou Doth Protest Too Much
If you are using reverse psychology to drive (a pun!) investors away from the stock, you may be overdoing it.
From an outsider's perspective, Steve Saleen's company and his cars rock. There's an impressive 60-page Executive summary loaded with information including financial forecasts, company strategy, sector comparison - plus pictures of some very cool cars.
Then again, there is that old saying...if it looks to good to be true...
Watching this closely.
Wow this is getting bashed hard.
If Steve Saleen really is as bad an apple as ya'll make him out to be, I would have expected to find more dirt. But the only bankruptcy link I can find is the bankruptcy protection filed by Saleen, Inc. - after Steve left the company.
The the two outstanding lawsuits are documented in the SEC filing. On a positive note, he's not trying to hide the info like some of these other OTC CEO's.
This next issue is a concern, sure - but isn't insufficient funding a concern of the majority of OTC companies?
Form 10-K filed 6/30/2104:
'Our ability to continue as a going concern is dependent upon our ability to raise additional capital and to ultimately achieve sustainable revenues and profitable operations.
.
.
However, additional funding will be needed to continue operations through September 30, 2014. In addition, we will need and are currently seeking additional funds, primarily through the issuance of debt or equity securities for cash to operate our business beyond September 30, 2014. No assurance can be given that any future financing will be available or, if available, that it will be on terms that are satisfactory to us. Even if we are able to obtain additional financing, it may contain undue restrictions on our operations, in the case of debt financing or cause substantial dilution for its stockholders, in case or equity financing.'
I picked up some cheapies - what's life without a few risks :P
Is a 60 Page Executive Informational Overview
meaty enough for you?
Saleen Exec Overview - June 12, 2014
Are all these orders today
with qty 100, 200, 300 related somehow? Price signals?
Thx for the info about the 8k.
MM signals?
Are they real, or just a myth O.o
Can someone explain to this novice.
How does a convertible debt generally effect the stock price; is it a positive or negative for existing shareholders?
(I'm starting at ground zero trying to learn everything I can; just takes awhile)
Somebody call an ambulance!
REDG is flatlining - needs resuscitation stat! Someone, anyone pump this sucker!
Just substitute the symbol
and you're set!
Don't think of penny stocks as investments
Don't get greedy; better to sell and take a small profit than watch all your profits melt away. This stock has been dying a slow death since mid-April. No volume, no movement.
Let's hope someone is planning on resuscitating the patient.
Did someone page me?
Oh, I thought you said occasional wit, not occasional idiot.
Bada-bing, bada-boom! Just trying to lighten things up a bit.

When companies don't file for a ticker change
it can take forever. Let me think of an example...got one! NYBD.
They have to file first.
They haven't, so it might be awhile - as in never. Up-to-date SEC Filings for NYBD

Not very reassuring.
OPMG Stick A Fork In It
Since questions about past performance have been deemed 'off-topic' I will stick to my personal opinions instead.
Buy now, cry later.
OPMG was a poorly run pump which never took off. It's easy enough to check - look at some of the older posts. If you are left holding the bag, you'll just have to wait for the next pump to unload.
This is my opinion and my opinion only. I hold no shares, I never did. Just a heads up for anyone thinking of buying shares now.
A well-kept secret.
Keeping my eye on this company. They have some pros on board and look to have real potential.
Barry will be thrilled by a SEC visit!
The more the merrier! Get that paperwork ready Barry! SEC, come on down!
Can't blame the market makers on fraud.
Phony PRs; phony audits; lies upon lies.
