Alvie, I guess my source of info is not as reliable as yours. Have you heard any reasons for Ms. Kennedy resigning both positions?
Think about it, other than the person paying the bills who is the most important person in this business?? Who would most employees answer to?? I probably mislead you a little bit because you would have to be familiar with the structure of this company and how the different positions operate. The D.O.F.D. wears many hats from finding the franchisees, training them, finding the places to place their machines and seeing to it that the machines and product gets to these locations.
To Alvie and all. The problem with VEND and others is the garbage some people put on the message boards like this one. Some people believe everything they read whether it is true facts or not or only get half of the story. If you would have dug into the story you posted about Alex Kennedy you would have found out that she only resigned her position on the board of directors so she could put all of her attention and effort into the running of the daily business. Some people will post a negative message in hopes that someone will panic and sell their shares at a loss to get out. Just remember that every share that is sold is purchased by someone else at a bargain. I have started several new businesses and all were a struggle to get started but all were successful once the cycle went around. I was lucky as I had other people that had faith in me to use their money to get running. VEND has the right ideas and the right people running their operations and need time to get the complete cycle running. I will hold my shares as I believe in buying LOW and selling HIGH. Hang in there folks.
gtech42 Did you take your training in San Diego. Did you meet someone named Alex Kennedy, if so what position does Alex hold? How long have you been with FHV? Are you doing well?
I sent your post to someone I know at VEND and this is the reply I was given. Sounds good to me and I trust the company and that is the reason I have held onto my shares of VEND and will continue holding them.
Fresh is the 1st Franchisor in vending and therefore the only Franchisor in Vending. The key to what makes us successful and different than anyone else is experience in securing locations and having an internal products’ team to create specialized menus for each location by type and nutritional preferences. Without solid, qualified locations, there is no business. At this time we have no competitors dedicated to healthy vending only those who sell equipment and encourage stocking the machines with healthier options, yet no one secures locations, mandates only natural options and no one has Franchisees that must follow a set standard of service and products. When we secure locations we are not encountering others like ourselves in locations, only Coke and Pepsi. We focus on captive audience locations such as schools, hospitals, YMCAs, fitness facilitates etc. and not gas stations, malls and convenience stores.
Vend is a great company with a great idea of replacing junk foods with healthy foods and are getting help from the U.S. government without asking for it. A potential franchisee is brought to San Diego and given the complete story and if they decide to join they are given several hours of training to merchandise the products, fix the machines in case of breakdown and then FHV has people that find the locations for them to put their machines. The Micro Markets became available and FHV knew that they would complement the healthy food business and not wanting to have a competitor beat them to it they had to borrow a large sum of money to complete the deal. I do know that they are doing very well so far. I am holding my shares because I believe FHV has a great future.

The way it is going you may be buying back in today. WOW
I found this message today. You can see VEND cares about their franchisees after the sale of machines. They even locate the best places to place the machines for the buyer. Looks like the Franchisees go through a thorough training period there in San Diego.

Hello Team!
Below is an email I received this morning from our Fort Worth, TX Franchisee, Steve Winters.
Thank you all for your dedication and professionalism during the Training this week. As you can see, our Franchisees appreciate our efforts.
We must continue this level of enthusiasm, attention and professionalism during their Locations process and throughout their Franchise so we have happy and productive Franchisees who want to grow their business.
Good morning Alex,
My apologies for not getting a moment to say thank you for you and your teams training efforts this week with us being pressed for time to leave. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and feel more engaged than ever about our opportunity but we are especially confident in FHV’s business model, directions and team. Kudos to you for what I truly believe is an excellent collection of talent you have assembled. We were also pleased to see the quality of other Franchisee’s in attendance as well. It soundly speaks to the type of individuals you want representing the organization. The fact you personally spent the time you did with us just validates the reasons we chose FHV. I truly enjoyed spending time in conversation with you and members of your team. Thank you for the effort and commitment and transparency. Until our paths cross again I just wanted to express my appreciation. Thank you!
Steve Winters
I wish someone would tell me why this stock price is going down instead of going up?? VEND is a new small company with a GREAT idea and selling GREAT healthy food and drinks and keeps growing every month. The Micro-Tel machines were a great addition to an already great product line. This country has a GREAT need for what VEND is offering to the public. I for one will hang onto my shares as soon they will be worth much more. KEEP LOOKING UP FOLKS.
Stockingup333 you should have bought 10,000 shares first thing this morning and you would have made $2,900.00 already this morning. I keep telling folks it was just a matter of time before it would be on the way up again. New start up companies have so problems at first but normally they work them out and I believe VEND has done that STRONG BUY
More good news. You just have to get the BEST people in the RIGHT positions.
This a company VEND is working with to provide frozen foods for our Micro Markets.
Did you know Derek Jeter is working with Luvo Inc.?

The best is yet to come. Buy now while it is low priced as it has no where to go but UP.
Don't give up people, hang in there as most new companies go through a period of time I call growing pains. FHV has a great potential because of the products and service they offer and with a few changes will be successful. Ms. Kennedy was a very large part of the reason FHV got off to such a great, fast, and successful start up. When she was rewarded for this by promoting her to CEO and CFO the every day running of FHV lost a very valuable person. Watch for things to get going again and don't give up on FHV. I am still holding onto my shares as I think we will be rewarded for it.

Fresh Healthy Vending International, Inc. Secures Largest Monthly Total of Locations During 2014
4 hours 58 minutes ago - DJNF
Nearly half of the 115 July location contracts were in education and training facilities
SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--August 05, 2014--
Fresh Healthy Vending International, Inc. (OTC Markets: VEND), North America's leading healthy vending franchisor, announces 115 locations secured in July, for the intended placement of 121 healthy snack machines across the country. This marks the largest monthly total during 2014.
During July 2014, the Company signed three new franchisees, booking 40 healthy snack machines. The July bookings represent approximately $421,250 in anticipated revenue.
Education and training facilities made up nearly 50 percent of July's secured locations, as Fresh Healthy Vending supports the efforts of the USDA's Smart Snacks in School standards, requiring schools to offer food items that meet certain requirements in relation to calories, sodium, fat and sugar.
"With June marking our highest monthly bookings since September 2012, we had a heavy focus in July on securing locations," said Alex Kennedy, CEO of Fresh Healthy Vending International, Inc. "We are very pleased with the secured locations in July, particularly with the number of school campus contracts. We believe that our locations team, matched with the informative freshandhealthy.org website and federal snack mandates now in effect, provide us with the tools we need to continue supporting our franchisees and expanding our location recruitments throughout the remainder of the year."
GOOD JTORENCE, maybe that is why it is up .12 so far today. People will catch on soon that this is an UP and coming company. STRONG BUY.
To: JTORENCE. I believe that when I did the copy and paste I copied one line to many. I don't believe "Tickers in this article" went with the VEND article.

More good news from VEND. Posted on MSN 7-26-2014
Fresh Healthy Vending International, Inc.(OTC Markets: VEND), North America’s leading healthy vending franchisor, announces 100 locations secured in June, for the intended placement of healthy snack machines across the country. Rounding the quarter ended June 30, 2014, the Company has entered into agreements with a total of 273 new locations on behalf of its franchise network.
“Our location procurement team has been busy securing quality locations for our franchisees,” said Alex Kennedy, CEO of Fresh Healthy Vending. “As each month passes, our team continually demonstrates the attractive win-win values of our business model to decision makers in a variety of location categories. With that, we're finding more and more of those decision makers across the nation are taking the initiative to provide consumers with an alternative to the traditional, unhealthy snacks generally found in other vending machines.”
School campuses made up more than 30 percent of June’s secured locations, as Fresh Healthy Vending supports the efforts of the USDA's Smart Snacks in School standards, requiring schools to offer food items that meet certain requirements in relation to calories, sodium, fat and sugar. The Company recently launched its website platform www.freshandhealthy.org, which caters to the new USDA guidelines and supports locations looking to implement a healthy vending program.

Right now people are looking for dividend paying stocks. It would help VEND if some way soon they could get on the NYSE for the exposure.

Check out the new Ad in July issue of "Franchising USA" Copy and paste the above.
Protagonist12 I believe VEND has people looking for prime areas in the country that they have not had representation of their products yet and they are advertising for franchisee's to buy in. I heard their advertisement on WOWO radio Fort Wayne, Indiana this morning.
Watch for the July issue of Franchising USA magazine. There will be a very nice Ad in that issue showing the three machines and the full story about what Fresh Healthy Vending is doing to change the vending industry from junk food and drinks to good healthy food and drink snacks. They recently sold franchises to two NFL players. I have personally tasted some of their products and they are very good tasting.
The shorters have come, put large sums of money in and people saw that and joined in and ran the price per share up to it's high of 10.05 per share and then they, shorters sold out and left the people that were hoping for a longer run holding the shares and now it is at $2.06 and shorter's are laughing at the rest of us holding shares. That my friends is how it works.
Khumm, It all depends where you came in at. You haven't lost or gained anything until you sell. Rule of thumb is BUY LOW and SELL HIGH. As in any stock purchase it is always a gamble and don't buy anything that you can't afford to lose some money. Don't let your emotions get the best of you. If you do you best stay out of the market.
Here is the news all holding shares of VEND have been waiting for. FHV going to Australia. Copy and paste the site for all the information. Buy shares while they are still cheap.

Team FHV,

VEND has no way to go but up thanks to the new government regulations starting in July. Right now it is selling at a bargain price. Little to no competition makes VEND the leader in the USA STRONG BUY.
NOPE, I live in the Midwest. As a youngster I was a Cub fan but when we moved out of Chicago I became a Jolten Joe fan and then his replacement Mickey Mantle. I met "The Mick" once and got to take his picture so I have been a Yankee fan since then. I got tired of being for a loser----CUBS. I now think D.Jeter is about TOPS now.
If VEND could some day get on one of the big boards so to get more exposure it would help. When the news came out in Entrepreneur Magazine that they placed VEND in the top 500 fastest growing companies in the U.S. the stock went up to $10.00 per share. That is where the day traders took off. I admit I took some good profit then also. Then the news came out that they borrowed $500,000.00 to fund the buyout of the new "Micro Market" and that must have scared some of the share holders. If you go to the web site you can find out all about this second phase that I think will do well also.
I have been a Yankee fan going back to the early 50's also.
Absolutely not! There are approximately 42 full time American employees. Don't get "Fresh Healthy Vending" mixed up with "Healthy Vending" located at Culver City California. The FHV franchise owners are not employees of VEND they are independent business owners owning their own equipment. The franchise owners purchase all the products from FHV distribution centers located through out the United States.
In case you are wondering YES I do own shares of Vend only because I think they have a great future getting people off of "junk foods". I am NOT a pumper, I just like the company.
GVInvestments you are right, VEND is a good American company located in San Diego that started with four employees with the intention of replacing junk food and junk drinks with good tasting snacks and drinks. I am familiar with the company and they started out with four employees and have been so successful setting up franchises across the country and they have now gone international. By the way VEND now has 42 full time employees. In the photo of the company personal you posted the lady in the back row far right is Alex Kennedy the CEO. She was one of the original 4 employees and was the sales manager that got the company off the ground and going very successful. That is the main reason she is now the CEO. I have tasted their products and they are very good tasting and good for you.
Fresh Healthy Vending has distribution centers in different parts of the USA and they sell the product to the machine owners,(Franchisees)but as far as a cut you speak of I do not know. I have read that the machine owners are very happy with the business they are getting and many are purchasing more machines. I have read that FHV trains the machine owners in all aspects and FHV even finds the places to put their machines for them.
VEND is the hottest penny stock to come in a long time. They are selling machines all over the country and have gone International lately. They are replacing junk food machines in schools, factories, health clubs and more. I have tried their snack foods and drinks and they are very good. I bought 10,000 shares at $1.85 and it got to $10.05 at it's high. Fresh Healthy Vending just bought out a competitor with a different approach.
STRONG BUY
