Press release from Armada oil today announcing new positions at company now that they the merger has passed lets hear something positive about wells being recompleted new wells being drilled not the same old crap about increasing stockholder value we have heard that forever so quit saying that in your press release we know about mr cerna the president of Armada he was also president of Lucas oil and it has gone downhill ever since (LEI) and the Chinese had to bail Lucas out.
I am waiting for transfer agent to convert all my shares in Mesa to Armada to TD Ameritrade I should have about 178,000 shares but I believe the price of Armada will drop somewhat when that happens to all shareholders of Mesa I saved money because I bought mesa instead of armada my Armada shares cost me 0.35 cents or less.
TD Ameritrade is waiting for the shares of Armada from the transfer agent so they can be put into our account don't know when they will get them that is the way the cookie breaks.
I have never bought Armada stock I believe mesh will be the best bet to make money on if you buy Mesa at 14 that would mean you buy 1 share of Armada at .35 cents or less. If Armada does a 2 for 1 reverse split there will be 27 million total shares out there and only about 15 million shares trading on the market this will send the stock to 2 to 3 dollars per share when they hit a horizontal well in ML or Wyoming you can count on that providing oil prices markets I think I know what happened to the ML well in Oklahoma Mesa was drilling around 5,000 feet more or less when they hit this very hard shale rock which can eat up a diamond bit every 400 to 1000 feet and they hit a cavern or opening in the strata well the drill stem and diamond bit probably went say 10 to 30 feet before it hit the formation again but the angle was already pre set by the computer so they kept drilling and this put a bind on the drill stem as it got harder for the drill motor to keep drilling because they were off course they were going to break the drill stem and lose it and then the drilling motor went out Mesa never did explain it but I believe this is about what happened IMO hang on everyone everything will work out.
Don't fool yourselves Mesa Energy Management or Armada are looking after their best interest and not the stockholders most companies are that way two months ago Mesa announced bringing in the recompleted LLS10 well and said they were working on more completions and let us know soon well its been over 2 months and we have heard nothing but that's the kind of people they are not very smart can't even complete a horizontal well I finally voted against the merger Mesa did not know that the land they leased in northwestern Oklahoma on the edge of the ML had hard shale rock sitting on top of the ML because they are not a lot of horizontal wells out there oh well I have got 100000 shares in to sell at 0.168 and will sell more if it reaches that price just hoping for the best for all of us.
I think I will vote all my Mesa Energy shares for the merger a total of 438,000 shares how do the rest of you feel about it I just got my email this morning
I noticed in Mesa Energy last filing with the sec that had $2,850.000 dollars on hand at the end of 2012.this was before they drilled the ML and lost money. They have not spent a lot of money on non drilling rigs trying to recomplete wells in LA and they have been sitting on revenue received from their production in LA for the last three months I do not expect their PR next Thursday or Friday to have anything special they can't complete a horizontal well so they should hire someone who knows how to do it their stock has stayed the same for the last two years the stockholders are looking for results not excuses.
Mesa energy maybe should not be to excited about the Ml in Oklahoma. I just read about SD energy. all the rating agency have lowered their rating on SD low as $1.00 per share SD is selling about $5.75 per share they say the ML in Oklahoma and Kansas is not producing as well as expected so go to SD site and read about it I maybe thing Mesa should not lease up to much land now after reading about it.
Mesa energy has not released the 4th quarter 2012 report. armada has released their report and it shows Armada had $,8,000 dollars in oil sales for the entire quarter and also lost over one half million dollars for the quarter looks like mesa energy is going to have to bail armada out or they will go under this situation bothers me Mesa had better come up with more oil production in LA and not drill another dry hole in the ML in Oklahoma or we are in for a long year. happy trails to all.
think I saw that they have moved up the merger time to April on the Mesa and Armada deal. go look at latest sec information posted on Mesa Ameritrade page for Mesa.
I believe Mesa energy will drill another horizontal well in the ML in Oklahoma before going to Wyoming in August to drill a horizontal well .look at it this way. you have 1 million dollars more or less in equipment enough to complete a horizontal well just sitting on the ground on a lease in Oklahoma and you are going to Wyoming first to drill a horizontal well in 6 months this is not smart business in my opinion. I know sometimes it takes time to line up another drilling rig to contract to drill the well but they should be able to locate one within 3 months I don't know how they found anything about the ML or the formation below it when they never actually did reach it or logged it they only logged the hole they dug then quit. I can read oil well logs and I have several of them in my office and I have been around several oil fields in Texas so if they found out anything about the ML or formation below it they used a log of another well IMO
It is interesting to note that armada oil which is taking over Mesa energy has to pay $750,000 dollars for 320 acres in wyoming by the first of may this year to TR energy when they don't have that much money in the bank.also they have one hundred million shares authorized in addition to the 11 million shares out there trading in the market.even when they take over Mesa and have the reverse split they still have the 100 million shares authorized for future operations.sounds like they are having problems with the merger it is taking a lot of time. They had better start producing more oil and produce on the horizonal wells or were in for a long summer. If I were Mesa I would have checked the nearest horizonal well close to the one they quit and asked the company that owned the well what kind of problems they had if any bringing in the well. it could have saved them some trouble, but the rig broke down anyway. until next time good luck and god bless.
CLEVERROX; the 3 to 4 million you are talking includes the 2 storage tanks needed, the seperator,(water from crude oil and gas) and the casing, and the lateral casing, 4000 thousand ft.putting that all in the hole, and the cost of fracking which was not used, also the drilling rig which lost power and unable to do the job.naturally they had to quit the hole.and the drill taken into shop to be fixed.they will have to contract for another rig which maybe they have to wait a month or two before they get one.Maybe the rig was to small to drill the tough shale rock above the ML.maybe a clause in contract penalizing the drilling co because they unable to do the job.also Mesa has allready bought the tanks, the seperator, the casing and the lateral line, so when they drill the next well they have all the equipment needed except the fracking.I believe they drill another ML horizonal well before drilling in wyoming in august.IMO
I believe Mesa energy drilled to about 5,000 ft when they ran into problems while the drill rig was starting to make the 45 degree turn so the drill would come into the ML on a horizonal level, they ran into some tough shale and the drill rig lost power. yes there would have been oil in the ML at this site if they had reached it.so my guess is I don't think they spent much over half a million dollars on this hole and this will not hurt them at all. I have bought a lot of shares in the 0.1301, 0.131.and 0.132 area. I am buying while the others or selling.if you can be patient it will pay off IMO.I believe they will hit a well in OK or Wyoming this year and we will be on our way.I won't to see how much money they have on hand at end of 4th quarter 2012 that will give me a clue. hang in there.
Well Mesa Energy did not complete the first well in the ML in Oklahoma, this is a set back, but look at it this way, the vertical well did not cost them over 1 million dollars to drill because they never did drill the 4,000 ft lateral or test it or put in the casing. so that is a positive.Early in the drilling process they ran into problems so I dont know how deep they drilled they did not say. so their costs were not not that great.
it has been 43 days come friday since randy griffin of Mesa Energy announced the start of drilling on the well in oklahoma.I started to drive up there from Ft Worth Texas to snoop around there and try to find out something.but the weather at times has been bad.I think the reverse split will be 1 for 2 when Aoil does the split.heck emerald oil EOX had a 1 for 7 reverse split so I dont know for sure. but I believe they will authorize up to 100 million share or more so they can buy out other small operators or leases when they make the announcement. We should know in a little over 2 weeks so hold on. good luck to all.
The number of shares you hold in Mesa energy just multipy by 40 and thats the number of Armada Oil shares you will get after the merger. then after the merger you will own only have of the SHARES of Armada. I called twenty twenty oil company in Hennessey Oklahoma Ph 405-853-4607. zip 737742 zip code. to see if Mesa had completed the well they were drilling on property I think they farmed out to them their phone rang, but I was never able to get ahold of them. maybee you can try, this I think is a small local telephone co. go to google and put in twenty twenty oil co,Garfield county Okla. But their office is in Kingfisher co, Okla.February 18 and February 28th are last days for the merger. We will know 4th quarter and year end report of Mesa energy and operations report by Feb 15. I look for good news. good luck to all of us stockholders.
Something looks fishy about Mesa Energy trading, they are showing a bid of .11 for 1/2 million shares, and 1,000,000 million shares to sell when you go in to buy shares of Mesa. maybe a error. but it could happen at end of trading today . I have seen things like this happen before amoung large traders. Well we'll see.
re Biztech. your statement about a 5 for 1 reverse stock split for Aoil would certainly rocket the stock higher, even a 3 for 1 reverse split would send it much higher. if you buy Mesh stock now at 0.14 , it would be like buying Aoil for 0.35 cents per share right now before the Aoil buyout of Mesa Energy.I have bought a lot last couple of days. on Aoil web page they show production of Mesa in LA at 500 to 600 BOE per day. also show horizonal wells completed on all sides of our land in wyoming some of them coming in at 1,000 boe oil per day. also Aoil show they hold interest in 34,000 thousand acres in the Niobrara shale in Wyoming. 41 square miles. Aoil stock hit 84 cents today something going on. let the wells come in. good luck to all of us.
Regarding the merger of Mesa Energy, and Aoil, I believe if you hold 300 thousand shares of Mesa energy, then you would have 120 thousand shares of Aoil, then after the next reverse split by Aoil you would only hold 60,000 thousand shares of Aoil.if it is a reverse 2 for one shARES OF aOIL.IF YOU paid 0.13 cents per share for Mesa energy you have 39,000 dollars invested. so Aoil would have to trade at about $ .64 cents to break even. I don't see a 5 for 1 reverse split. there will only be about 28 milion total shares of Aoil after the buyout and split. and the Co owns over 50 percent of the shares. so only about 15 million shares will be trading or less. this is my guess since i don;t have all the info. if the wells come in, it will be good for us. imo
I believe Mesa will complete the Horizonal well sometimes this month in the Miss limestone in OK. if this well is over 300 BOE per day than it will be producing more than all the wells we have in LA.I talked to Mr Jay Roberts of Mesa the other day, he lives in Keller Texas, just NE of Ft Worth. he seems to be very upbeat about the future of Mesa and Aoil. Mesa shareholders could have made alot more money if the merger did not happen.but this is still a good deal.after the merger and reverse split by Aoil, there will only be about 15 Million shares trading on the exchange. The management will hold the other half of shares. The shares will jump over a dollar and they will get listed on the ASE or NASDAQ. IMO. my price target is $ 2.50 by year end.IMO
I believe mesa energy is rushing to complete the Horizonal oil well in the Miss Limestone in OK. They would like to have some good news ending the year.Randy griffin has already stated that.I thing also they may have options on land nearby to LEASE IF the well is a good producer.otherwise they pay more for the leases.if Armada and Mesa merge it is possible Armada stock hit $2.00 dollARS before end of 2013.A PR should come out within the next 15 days. IMO This all depends on price of oil, markets, ect. Happy new year to all of us left holding Mesa stock.I still have some 275,000 shs left holding on for a good profit. I will buy more mesa at 0.135 or under.
i have not given up on mesa energy,my posts are sometimes negative, however i am still buying bought 40,000 shares at 0.131 and 0.132 and will buy more shares under 0.1350.randy griffin said the well they are drilling in the miss limestone would be completed by the end of this month in oklahoma. besides the other wells in La.if this well in oklahoma comes in at 300 to 350 barrels.then I think were off to the races.after the reverse split there should not be more than 30 to 40 million shares out there.imo
the real truth on mesa energy as i see it. Mr. cerna a director of mesa energy starter Aoil with a top of 20 million shares.and then gets options on leases of 26,000 acres in wyoming. and aoil jumps to a high of $1.82 per share. then Mr cerna and his coharts own 12 million shares. which means that their is only 8 million shares trading in the market place. naturally the price of Aoil would be way overpriced becuse of the small float. you can see the price of Aoil has come down like a lead baloon.from 85 cents when the deal was made to a 40 cent low.it looks like to me a cooked up deal made up quite a while ago.Aoil stock has dropped over 50% while Mseh has not dropped over 2%.strange ins't it.also Mr.Randy Griffin shows owning 16 million shares. i look up how many shares Mr Griffin owned 6 or 8 months ago and he only owned 8 million shares.so where does he get these extra shares. This calls for a real SEC invistigation. I will vote all my shares against this merger, probably will do no good.I have alleady sold over half my shares.and made a profit. it is a case of mind over matter. i don't mind and it don't matter. good luck everyone.
on Mesa energy level 2 shows a bid of 0.39 .if aoil drops to 0.35 cents, mesa shareholders are being screwed. I hope the directors of Mesa are happy,I am not happy. it should have been 2 shares of mesa for 1 share of aoil.have a nice day mr cerna.
mesa energy oklahoma limestone play could prove to be very good for the company. I was reading about sand ridg e energy, eagle energy and other companies leasing in this play in kansas and oklahoma.they can make money if oil stays over $40 dollars a barrel. Sand ridge has over 400,000 acres and plans on leasing another 600,000 acres. it takes less horsepower for rigs to drill these wells, this land is close to cushing okla.takes less PSI fracture and less fracture material. in fact just as good as the williston basin.hope conpany can lease more acerage. leases 500 to 3500 per acre.Go to google and type in . Oil production in oklahoma limestome. sure some good reading.Think i will buy more Mseh. good luck to all here on the board.
The merger of Mesa and Aoil is very complicated. I will say this. Mr. Randy Griffin stated in the last PR, the company would end the 4th quarter on a very positive note. with recompletions in LA and start drilling their first Horizonal well in the ML in oklahoma in December. , and a plan of quick growth. I guess mr Cerna will be the boss now. I doubt he could ever fire Mr Griffin because Mesa people on the board of Aoil outnumber mr Cerna group. this is just a thought,It looks if this goes through there will be about 30 million shares more or less of Aoil shares out there trading. if the 26,000 acres in Wyoming is productive than we have a big winner.stock should move to $2.00 a share by end of 2013. I am a buyer at 14.3 or lower. happy thanksgiving to all on the board here.
mesa energy had a not so good quarter. first they did not mention if the three well in ml in Oklahoma was producing any oil. next they lost nearly 1 million dollars buying calls or puts on oil diveratives ending the 3rd quarter. third they keep saying production is going to increase in La. well it hasen't. so far. they are playing craps with stockholders money. I don't like it. and I have sold half of my holdings and made some good money in the twenties. I hope the next pr will be better.
Mesa Energy and Aoil hook up I believe may be not to good of a deal for shareholders.look at it this way. if you own 300,000 thousand shares of mesa energy. you would then have 100,000 thounand shares of aoil. say you bought at average 18 cents per share of mesa, thats $54,000 thousand dollars.then when Aoil does a reverse split, you would only have 50,000 thousand shares of aoil, provided its a 2 for one split. then the stock would have to trade over a dollar to even break even. also Aoil will have to raise more shares before the transaction, because they only show 20 million shares trading total.I dont know where this thing going but Mesa should pull out and have their own reverse stock split 2 for 1 then their earnings would double, and only have 41.5 million shares out.if Mesa can get production to 1,000 barrels per day then i thing their less stock would shoot up to 1.00 per share.on oct 9 Mr Cerna dismissed aoil public accounting firm. this tells me something was up then. I believe mesa is bailing Mr cerna out of the bind that he is in. IMO.AOIL stock should not be trading more than mesa's stock.I don;T see much value in their stock information I am getting.
all i know about the lawsuite on mesa energy, is go to google rite in ( mesa energy message boards) then go go the second message board listed after this one and click on. something about the Officers of Mesa energy holdings getting a sweartheart deal. thATS IT. GOOG LUCK TO US SHAREHOLDERS WHO HAVE BEEN HANGING ON FOR YEARS
there has been a lawsuite filed against mesa energy holdings officials for selling out to aoil to cheap.filed on October 24th, this was shown on another board.this is getting serious.
in regard to mesa energy holdings giving 3 shares for 1 aoil share some of us in mesa stock may find ourselves under water after they then do the reverse 1 for two reverse stock split especially if aoil shares continue to drop like a rock, which is now i believe is .81 cents per share. imo
amerada and mesa energy holdings which are trying to make a business deal.well aoil owns 300 acres in gonzales county in the eagle ford shale which they paid about 1.8 millions shs of stock.also they own some production on leases in young and archer counties texas. they also have 2.5 million shares of B common stock with warrants, and 2.5 million shs of C common stock with warrants i guess they have issued for some property.will mesa stock still be trading after the business deal. if it goes thru.some one tell me.
it would be interesting to know how much land armada and mesa energy have in the eagle ford play.armada keeps saying they have a foorprint in the eagle ford play. maybe they have a option on some land in the eagle ford shale play who knows. if they will later take a position in the eagle ford play that would be great. however they have a lot on their plate now. stay tuned for a pr from mesa by nov.15th at least, because they are letting their money build uo now. happy trails to all of you
per mesa energy saying that aoil holds interest in 23,700 acres in niobrara formation in southern wyoming is not so, they own a option to purchase a interest in 23,700 acres.they only hold 1275 acres there which only produced 900 barrels of oil for year or up until now.mesa will have to dole out the cash to complete this purchase. i believe.also doesn't mesa have a large payment on their loan next year. some one help me out here. i know this payment on loan can be extended, so i don't worry much here as long as they are increasing production. sounds like we are bailing aoil out. also our shares may be deluted a little.that is all for now.so where is there footprint in the eagle ford shale. good luck to us shareholders.
well i told everyone mesa was going to need a partner, this is a strabge deal. if the deal is completed, then Aoil will have a reverse stock split. this tells me that after the reverse stock split, the two boards will make them preffered stock and only the companies officials will hold the stock and be able to get dividends. also each preffered stock may equal several thousand common stock of mesa energy. 1 sold 140,000 at 0.235. going to sell another 200,000 shs soon. be careful . good luck to all
Well I told you all mesa would go in with anothercompany in order to drill horizonal wells.you will note the the A company will have a reverse stock split right after this deal goes through. althought they never said what the reverse split would be would be 10 to 1 or 2 for 1 reverse stock split. they could even make these preffered shares. and their value might me 1 preffered share could be equal to 10,000 more os less of mesa common shares.there is a lot of questions we have here. just have to wait i sold 140 thousand shARES YESTERDAY MADE 14,000 DOLLARS I WILL POST MORE LATER, GOT TO GO NOW
well i see mr. monte greer is only going to be a consultant now with mesa, he also worked with shell oil co before coming to mesa. this is the second one to start pulling away from mesa i told you something was wrong. i hope its not to bad are else the company will not fare to well in the future unless production begins to pick up. i may lighten up on my holdings depending on the next pr or two. still have some hope.
Well Mr powell is retiring on very short notice. He was head of the Geological department. May be hard to replace.hard to find men of his experience. I hope nothing has gone wrong.hope this is not a disaster. I get a little scary when he gave only 3 day notice. Maybe there was a disagreement. If Mr. Griffin had announced a retirement. I would be heading for the door.Either he was sick or sometrhing happened. anyway stock is selling off. to bad.
Mesa Energy is recompleting the Valetine Well #2 this month, and may report more leasing on the next pr as well as how well Mesa fared on the Hurricane. I just bought a bunch of CXPO at 4.21. go Mesa I am holding on to all my 400,000 shares of Mesa. got in at 0.135 Hold on a Little longer help is on the way.
