What happend to that guy who posted about his medical doctor brother at the pentagon who was impressed with the peer reviewed study? Surely by now this renowned doctor has spread the word. But no interest in the stock?
I guess you're going to continue ignoring the sinking pps. I hope after years of accumulating you're financially able to absorb this loss.
Not generating revenue is principally why the business model isn't viable.
This message was posted well over a year ago. Perhaps it's time to take it down? Surely battelle hasn't delivered.
Is anyone still holding for a reason aside from capital loss tax purposes?
My guess is that the Akron investors, largest shareholders in the company, are getting impatient. Even after getting warrants for dime shares, they will not be able to exit their position given lack of viable business model and practically non-existent trading volume. They have dumped 7 figures into HEPI. Dahl has been directing the company's activities for a year now and PPS has dropped by 50%. Dahl will be out by next qtr if he is unable to generate revenue and increase PPS.
PPS reflects valuable patents filed in South America.
I hope everyone has been able to pick up shares at the bid. Meanwhile the rest of the market soars. Parasite or producer?
A great short term buying opportunity indeed.
What's your definition of "short term"?
Not for much longer. They're issuing more shares to pay staff to not generate revenue. A business model with a short life expectancy. Unless of course you believe those patents filed in south America are worth a fortune. Only people making money in hepi are executives and ip lawyers.
Top 3 investors own a large percentage of outstanding shares. Wouldn't be surprised if they get Dahl to take the company private for .20 a share. Or mabye nothing going on at Battelle and all shareholders out.
Down big on heavy volume and no public news. Given its history hepi will notify shareholders not in the inner circle in six months that they have moved on to a new lab. .02 shares at that point. But shareholders should be at ease that those all important patents have been filed in south America.
Soon dime shares will not be enough for insiders. Bring on the nickel shares
So if I bought on the bid at .18, and the pps is trading at .16, did I take advantage of the short term buying opportunity that presented itself?
Is this as good of an opportunity as when one could selectively buy under .40? Based on the annual meeting presentation, news regarding identification in "one to two weeks." That was two weeks ago.
Great short term buying opportunity if one selectively buys here below .40?
Would the last investor in hepi please turn off the lights.
Typo. But might turn into 500 million with no plan for generating rev. A lot of nothing was said and the market is reacting as expected.
Apparently I didn't miss much. With 500 million shares likely going to the top three shareholders at a pps of between a dime and .15, it will be awhile before this stock goes anywhere. Also appears results from PAZ are looking less promising than WSU reported. Shocking.
I agree- a buy out would be great for investors. I'd like to exit this position at a nice gain by EOY.
The guys funding HEPI have a history of backing companies that generate "Monster Cash" for shareholders. Let's hope we have a repeat.
I questioned the wisdom of putting money that the company doesn't have into the manufacturing facility in AZ after the agreement with the MLM ended. I presume (hope?) HEPI would be reasonably sure they are going to manufacture an additive in this facility. Otherwise, why put scarce resources into it if you did not expect a ROI in a reasonable time frame? Let's hope Dahl, incompetent at communicating with shareholders and potential investors, had a plan and is ready to implement it. Should be an interesting couple of weeks.
If Battelle has identified it, I see the opportunity for a steady stream of positive PR. Paper outlining the ID, GRAS approval, and agreement with food additive company. Given the tax implications, let's hope it happens before EOY.
Amigo: Gupta stated, “Its biological effect over time and toxic effects, if any, need to be further investigated in a long-term study in an animal model before testing its effects in humans,” she said. “But this is a step in the right direction, since increased HDL is considered an important therapeutic target for improvement of the lipid profile and thus reduction of the risk for cardiovascular disease.”
Despite the fact she would like nothing more to continue the science experiment while investors are left holding the bag, it's my understanding HEPI could self affirm GRAS to expedite signing an additive deal and finally generate meaningful revenue without first going through "long term" studies. Given that its product has been in the market for years and consumed by humans with no reported toxic effects, why hasn't HEPI filed and received approval for its GRAS notification? Or perhaps it has, and I have been unable to locate the link. Dahl's focus during the first conference call was on signing food additive deals, and therefore investors should not need to wait for "long term" studies and FDA approval processes.
Decent volume again today considering what it had been prior to yesterday. One would expect them to generate a little buzz going into the annual meeting and then hit the road to build investor interest so they can stop giving away stock.
Let's hope today's volume creates a LONG TERM gain opportunity. Nice volume and pps held up. I'm sure Dahl etc would rather go into an annual meeting with the stock hitting 52 week high!
Annual Meeting
Appears they're going to tout the dilution of shares and previously announced science experiment results. Not a word about agreements signed to generate revenue:
The agenda will include, but is not limited to, presentation of board members standing for re-election, a discussion of the proposed increase in authorized shares, presentation of the research work currently underway and test results available by that date, as well as status reports for litigation, operational and reporting functions. Presentations will be made by Andrew Dahl, President and CEO; Philip Rice, Chief Financial Officer. Dr. Scott Freeman, Chief Science Officer, will present brief, prepared comments.
Liquid: And any intelligent investor would rather see Battelle invest in HEPI through its VC arm than have the company give away stock. It seems whenever there's a cash shortage, the company has an "unexpected delay" in announcing progress and insiders pick up more dime shares.
Liquid- Giving away stock also indicates HEP Investments has turned off the faucet and Battelle will not enter into a JV and inject cash into HEPI. Maybe 2013 will be the year...Plenty of short term buying opportunity until then, I'm sure.
By the annual meeting, your HEPI shares will not be worth the price of a plane ticket to Detroit.
The stock continues to drop toward a dime. My guess is at the annual meeting they'll revisit Dahl's pay package and price his options from .25 to .1.
Everyone must be on vacation again, including Dahl and the crew at Battelle. Think we'll get a conference call announcement before July?
Liquid: Appears they held off on releasing the report until they were able to identify the class of compound. Once Battelle failed to do this, along with previous labs, they decided to publish knowing further progress is unlikely. This is also reflected in recent market activity. That "smile on Dahls face" referenced during the run up must now be a frown.
Willy: You seem to know when to get in and out. Are you back in?
Willy: Wasn't this information announced over two years ago? How have shareholders benefits from the millions spent on WSU's science experiment?
"Dahl has made one mistake after another in terms of not keeping promises, but it is more the lack of clarity as to how and when Hepi can monetize Paz that has me on the sidelines"
Exactly Kmike. For the past few years this has been a multi-million dollar failed science experiment incompetently run by the third rate university in Detroit and it's esteemed professor. No plan has been put forward to monetize PAZ. And I realize it's trivial now that this thing is going down the tubes, but Dahl, collecting his oversized six figure salary, still hasn't updated the website ha ha.
Also it's entertaining watching a tea party loser like Dahl spout off about Obama (http://www.producerorparasite.com/) being a parasite, etc when he cannot run a micro cap company or update a simple website or hold a conference call as promised. Mr. self reliance and prosperity through hard work is bleeding shareholders and collecting hundreds of thousands of dollars to...watch scientists take blood samples from hamsters? Also, when is HEPI going to finally dump Gupta. Her philosophy seems to be keep testing until they can find some inconsistency. This is not a tax payer funded NIH grant funded science experiment. Many products have achieved great commercial success without going through years of testing.
Willy-A great short term buying opportunity. Finally HEPI admitted prior tests have not shown expected results, as if the tape did not already confirm this. Waiting for Amigo, the man who makes the former Iraqi Propaganda Minister envious, to post his thoughts. I was really hoping for a pump by management and opportunity to get out ahead, but appears my lottery tickets can be discarded.
Is the strategy to delay the meeting in hopes of driving down share price to offer dime shares to insiders?
Be patient Liquid lol.
