Checking Alexa and came up with this: 30 sites link up, but I am not sure if this is accurate for today. I will check out, what this is all about.

For sure. Maybe this is a turning point. They sounded like we are a legit stock now. Before they treated us like a Pinkie.
These guys don't have their money invested like we do, you should have read the reports they had when I bought in Feb. -09, I call them anal-ysts. They are probably sorry now they themselves didn't invest ln SIRI.....lol
FINALLY they acknowledge SIRI in a good light, only took them 10 years.
Thanks, have forgotten that.lol. eom

Like that thought! Here is a link to Siri institutional holders. There is a bunch of them. It wouldn't be a big jump for them (if WRSPQ would be rising from the ashes), that they would jump in. I saw some of them buy Siri under 1 dollar. It is possible.
Wouldn't WRSPQ have to forward split to get more shares to sell? 42 mil. is not going to go far enough. Now that is a way to get rich quick.

it was a friend of mine or 2......;o}
I think you are right, anything WiFi, Mobile, multiple usage, user friendly, saves time, entertains, communicates and is reasonably priced, will be a hit. SIRI looks good in all categories.
Been too long in this stock, it has gotten to me....lol Good point!!!
Made lots of money, which is better than some stocks I got hooked on, not complaining, when I am riding on freebies now.
Many institutional buyers will not buy until the stock is $5.00, you might miss out....just saying.
They are going through a Chapter 11 reorganization. Most companies need lawyers for it. Plus this has to do with international companies/customers also, which might be a wee bit more complicated.
And the shell and maybe something with Liberty, unfortunately those only specs.
Just my take on it, probably because I build websites is why I am asking, why a password entry if nothing of value is there. You are right about the speculation, we don't know until they close the doors for good or have something cooking. We all might be a little right.
When there is no website or no immediate website to be built you usually park the name or sell it, you usually don't set a password entry. That has been my experience. We'll see what happens.
.....Liberty Media, which holds a 40% stake in Sirius XM, was seen as the last hope for the company’s survival. WorldSpace was given until April 17th to submit a reorganization plan to emerge from Chapter 11. WorldSpace then announced a plan to decommission its satellites. The original October 2008 Chapter 11 petition listed total debt equaling $309 million and total assets equaling $307 million. The debt included $53.1 million in convertible debt and $36.1 million in senior secured notes. WorldSpace had two geostationary satellites and about 170,000 subscribers in 10 countries.
In early 2009, the founder and former CEO of WorldSpace, Noah Samara, through his Singapore-based firm, Yenura Pte. Ltd., had agreed to pay $28.8 million for the WorldSpace assets. The deal eventually went south when lenders pulled out and Mr. Samara’s company defaulted on the contract. After Liberty pulled out of negotiations with WorldSpace, Samara came back to the table a second time with his U.S based company, Yazmi USA LLC. This time Samara was successful. A deal was reached late last week for Yazmi to acquire “substantially all the assets of WorldSpace and its co-debtors” for $5.5 million, a fraction of the early 2009 $28.8 million deal.

My take on WorldSpace is very simple. I ask the question, why would Samara want to buy a defunct company for any price, if there aren't plans to do something with it?
Would it be only the NOL's, liscences, because the sats. are too old anyway. I smell a bigger picture here.
Why build a website? Just asking....:o}
You are right, there is so much technology that is coming out (much faster), from what we have now.
Does the repeater work the way mirror sites work, are those synonymous?
It is hard to follow different train of the technologies.
Just found out about Bloom Box, never heard of it before (just an example).
Wow,things are heating up..:o}About time!eom
Something very important was just said in the Liberty CC
And it relates to Siri down the road with 2.0
(I am wondering if or how WRSPQ play into this mosaic?)
Follow that line of thinking,
They were talking about how none of the Streaming services, Netflix/Amazon can compete with Cable yet due to quality issues. I agree, I've tried Netflix and Amazon, but I just can't deal with the poor video quality, and I've got a pretty fast internet connection.
I, like a lot of others have paid big money to upgrade my entertainment system, and anything less than 1080P just doesn't cut it anymore.
So, with 2.0 on the way with video capability, I can see Siri getting in the Movie and TV streaming business. And with the quality of their Satellite download quality, it's gonna make Netflix and Amazon look like watching TV 20 years ago.
Maybe an agreement for content from Liberty?
If this were to happen, the Sky's the limit on the PPS.
I found it on the web, but I do agree with the writer, that's why I posted it. I feel there are big plans made in the backroom with Liberty and others, we aren't privy to yet.
Malone always has something up his sleeve. I was thrilled when in Feb-09 Liberty stepped in, I knew good things were coming. Bought right before he stepped in. Been following him since about -93 and always made money....:o}
JUNE $2.50 Calls are In-Play
From the volume today, we are seeing a healthy accumulation on the daily charts...The Volume on the JUNE 2.50 Calls suggest that we are moving towards that price. Our next stop is $2.25, and a close above that is in the cards..
Monday the trend should continue, and it is very likely we will see $2.50 by next week...
Shorts know that this stock has been beaten down for a long time..In the technology sector, i do think SIRI has a long way to go...They have a product that is unique and they can elaborate in increasing their revenue streams...It will be a matter of time when SIRI will buyback millions of shares to reduce it's outstanding shares and make the company more shareholder friendly...
This stock looks like is heading towards the $3.00+ range in the next few weeks..

Obama's press sec. fielded question on more spectrum space for first responders.
Interesting article, wonder if they are speculating about WorldSpace?
http://seekingalpha.com/article/267716-synergy-sirius-liberty-media-and-dish-network-part-2source=TheMotleyFool
Yup you are right jel2maine, it is obvious they didn't research WRSPQ.
Thanks kateric10. eom
kateric10-Where is the article that mentions Worldspace?
Whoever has the bandwidth is the winner. Heard the interview of the worlds richest man (Mexican mogul), he was asked about the best investments in the future. All he said was bandwidth.
That was originally, haven't bought in awhile now, have big enough gamble here. Got in Dec2-09 and got some cheap shares last year here to average my expensive ones...:o}
Agree with you and NY73, been since .17-.19 cents, took my profit, but then had to sell some more (financial reasons), felt just awful but had no choice. Plus had to buy WRSPQ...lol
In case someone is curious, here is a link to Obama's birth certificate.
http://news.yahoo.com/s/yblog_theticket/20110427/ts_yblog_theticket/white-house-releases-obama-birth-certificate
This scenario looks a lot like Liberty media's situation when he gobbled up HSN. I was in it. Malone likes distressed companies that are in the same category his other companies are in. (Comcast-QVC then). He acted then like that was not his plan, which it ultimately ended up being.
Now SIRI and WRSPQ.
Have you seen any objections to anything. I haven't and that makes me want to speculate, that maybe Malone or others might have plans, that we of course aren't privy to.
They still could just rent bandwidth and become a supplier for others. Do you know if they still hold the spectrum licenses? If it is a clean shell, that is also a positive and let's not forget the NOL's. Still a gamble.
I am....:o}
April 15 something is supposed to be happening it was in the papers from WRSPQ. I forget what it was. I think it was a deadline of some kind.
Now that is dreaming.lol. eom
Sirius XM Shares Up Sharply As Antitrust Plaintiff Withdraws (updated)

Timing is not possible to target in my profession. That must be why that new sat. is in south of France. They never got to use it I presume. Well it was fun thought anyhow...lol Good weekend to all!!!
That is spooky, just before I looked at the board I thought, wouldn't it be sweet if we got News over the weekend and the ones that didn't hold are going to be scrambling Monday. The first thing that my eyes hit was the word Bombshell word....lol
Yes Europa does put day-month and year in that order.
