Intraday Stock Chart
Today : Thursday 1 December 2011
Business Continuity Solutions, Inc. (BCS) (OTCPK: BUCS), an emerging provider of backup and disaster recovery (BDR) solutions, as well as managed services for corporations throughout the U.S., announced today that it has secured the Company's largest contract to date, which includes the 3-year provision of both BDR and managed services to Venture Group Enterprises, Inc. (VGE).
BCS will supply backup, recovery and managed services – the latter being essentially "a full-time IT department at a part-time price" – to VGE's 48 workstations across two locations. The total BDR solution is fully monitored and managed 24x7 by BCS' network operations center, and includes an on-site network attached storage (NAS) unit that acts as a local storage device as well as secure remote (off-site) storage provided at a hardened data center.
VGE is a multi-vendor sales and marketing company that specializes in full-service telecommunications agent support. The company provides agents with a wide variety of quality telecommunications products and services, primarily geared towards business end-users.
Commenting on the new contract, Ramsey Dellinger, CEO of Business Continuity Solutions, said, "This is obviously a huge win for us, not only for the additional, consistent revenue stream, but for two other important reasons. First, graduating from smaller businesses to solid, mid-tier clients is extremely important for our growth strategy. In order to grow revenue the way we envision, we have to secure larger contracts. Our experience shows that once we can get a handful under our belt, more will follow.
"Secondly, our managed services division is one in which we want to focus on because no extra hardware is necessary which leads to overall higher margins. Most companies realize, especially in this economic environment, that it is more cost-effective to outsource IT solutions, as up to 90% of problems can be fixed remotely. We very much look forward to providing the quality service that VGE needs and working with them over the coming years."

BUCS A recent study discovered that, of companies experiencing a ?major loss? of computer records, 43 percent never reopened, 51 percent closed within two years of the loss, and a mere 6 percent survived over the long-term. For small and medium-sized businesses
(SMB?s) in particular, these statistics suggest the necessity of crafting a Business Continuity Planning (BCS) strategy grounded in a robust data backup and recovery solution. Unlike enterprises, many smaller companies cannot afford optimal in-house strategies and solutions in service of BCS. These companies are consequently at an elevated risk of being put out of business due to any major loss of data. Loss of data could mean emails lost, accounting data lost, patient or client files lost, company records lost, client legal records or orders lost and so on. This Executive Summary evaluates the scope of BCS for smaller companies, by examining their challenges, range of existing solutions and their drawbacks. We?ll also discuss how our solution overcomes commonly faced challenges to offer the most comprehensive solution out in the marketplace.
