Amen to that! That's where I've gotten burned. Played too many weeklies. I need to stick to my discipline of 2 at a time tops. I prefer long cuz it feels more like investing in the company. I seem much better at that. Although I've done some nice weekly day trades recently. Which is why i got burned tho ... Got excited and bought more than I'm comfortable with and expired worthless today:( Doh!

Hey ronnies. Well, I know this will make me sound like a major NERD, but I've been keeping a spreadsheet with different stats. One of them keeps track of how well I do on long calls, weekly, day trades. I do so much better on long calls. 1-2 months. I won't be cutting out weeklies all together, just dialing them back to 1-2 at a time. The rest will be long. And you?

frdmlover ... 100% agree with you. I'd rather have silence than a PR like this. It just enables the "sell on news" crowd to dump and the frustrated to sell because this is nothing significant. Yes, MSMY does have some potential, but it's still a Penny Stock. Until I see some actual numbers and contracts, "forward looking" PRs will not cause me to expand my position by buying so-called "cheapies." More times than not Pennies are cheap for a reason, and have charts that only trend downward until the inevitable R/S. This is a typical Penny fluff PR and I'm not digging that. AAPL .... MY BIGGEST TRADE YET!!! Bought 2 Mar $540 calls back in early Jan. Turned $104 into $780. WOOHOO!!!

My last 3 trades. All weeklies from Friday to today. I struggled with my first few weekly options because I didn't use my discipline I setup for long options I buy. I found I had to tweak my discipline a little for weeklies compared to longs. These 3 trades are the result of sticking to your discipline. Happy trading all!

I got in on DHT in Dec at .74. Have a stop setup at .97 for 30% profit. But, hoping that stop will never ever be triggered. I like the fundamentals and the nice looking chart on this stock. Should be fun! Happy trading!

Hey VernD! That would be sweet, wouldn't it? Any reason why you think this could be a buyout? Honestly, that's my hope and I hope it's soon. Otherwise we may see some more financing through selling more stock ... which I understand. AFPW needs to do what they gotta do to stay in business. I would rather not go through it though:)
