go-kitesurf,
If I was saying something libelious, I would expect to be sued. In fact, once a few years back when I fist turned negative, a message was sent to me telling me that I in fact was going to be sued. It never happened becasue they knew I was correct and had the cold hard FACTS to back what I said up.
I learned that day to NEVER say anything you can't back up in a court of law.
CPA
Ramsey,
You may be correct. However, if the "New" institutional investor is just a newly formed fund made up of the same people who financed the last round, it isn't REALLY new, is it.
CPA
oknpv,
No, I'm not being ignorant.
I've seen it work like this....
A bunch of individuals invest in a Limited Liability Partnership. That partnership has a name, such as "The emerging growth companies investment opportunity fund". That fund would invest in the company. However, truth of the matter could be its just made of a bunch of Wavoids individually solicited by the broker to invest. I believe that is the case here. I KNOW of people who had the opportunity to get in on this particular round. I don't know if they did or not, but the opportunity was there according to them. I was told this prior to the financing being announced.
CPA
CPA
orda,
Okay!!! Now I KNOW I should only post positive things. Thanks for that wake up call.
CPA
trustcousa,
You decide if I'm credible. I wouldn't make the alligation if I couldn't back it up with witnesses in court.
CPA
oknpv,
You are correct, I don't know because I didn't participate. From what I'm told, the offers went out to the same people as last time. I'm told by people who received the offer. Wavoids!!!
CPA
NewWave,
And your basis for the statement "but they have always constituted a very small minority"? Are you involved in the financing? Can you provide us with the names and amounts of the investors? If you cannot, why is your statement any more valid than mine, because it is what YOU believe?
CPA
wavxmaster,
I've stated them many times. I'm not going down that road again. If you must have your answer, click on my handle and do a little DD on my previous posts.
CPA
Snackman,
You tell me how I could prove it? Should I ask the underwriter for their telephone records? How do I prove a telephone conversation? You either choose to believe me or not.
Oh, but by the way, didn't you ask in the last two weeks what one would think if the next financing was at market? Now who would have thought that would happen if they wern't in the know? LOL! I almost called you on the statement when you made it.
CPA
24601,
I'm just saying it is not the whole story, thats all. I believe if you are going to make a statement like that, it should include the whole truth.
CPA
Well, I gotta admit, this statement kills me...
"We are pleased to welcome as shareholders the new institutional investors that participated in this offering that was priced at Tuesday's closing bid price."
Considering I KNOW that this round was offered to people (not institutions) that were offered to participated in the last round, I consider the statement to be "not the whole truth". Maybe, just maybe there was a new institutional investor (or a new entity made of individual investors), but some (if not most) of the money came from Wavoids, IMHO.
This is an example of why I think management is misleading and un-trustworthy!!!
CPA
P.S. the word "KNOW" was capped for a reason.
VH,
Thanks for the message!
CPA
Vacationhouse,
I haven't read the board for a few days. Sorry 24601!
CPA
Greg,
Great DD. However, I doubt many here will give you the credit you deserve.
CPA
Weby,
So much for being above the 200 day moving average. By days end, it should be below the 100 day average also.
CPA
zen,
I can only guess. One reason might be that Wave has the best product NOW. Doesn't mean that they are going to bail Wave out if they sink.
Besides, I'm only predicting short term at the moment. Things could change and I recognize that. But right now, IT IS GOING TO BE UGLY, make no mistake of that.
CPA
Doma,
Just because you don't doesn't mean others don't. I've been quite accurate over the last 2 1/2 years. Check them out for yourself. You might make some money if you follow them.
CPA
may1,
To be honest, yes.
CPA
Doma,
Merely an observation. It wasn't meant as DD. Am I precluded from making observations?
Are you a little touchy today with the premarket back at .69?
BTW, if it stays at this level, my prediction will be correct! Makes up for my last one. Also puts me at 2 out of the last 3 (a percentage that usually put one in the playoffs if we were taking sports teams).
CPA
Some people around here appear to me to be very touchy about the delisting that came out last night. It seems to have struck a nerve in at least a few longs. Very interesting reading the board from last night.
CPA
cmf,
I couldn't agree more.
I was suckered in by the rally. God only knows how Wave leaks info to a few early. I assumed Wave was in the Intel announcement. As soon as I saw they wern't, I bailed as fast as I could. Took a very small hit. But, hey, that's gambeling and I recognised it for what it was.
I sure hope anyone on the fence saw the situation for what it was and bailed. If they didn't, there is a world of hurt coming in the next week and month to follow that, all IMHO of course.
CPA
waverider,
Why do you say such things? They don't meat ANY of the requirement to stay listed. Do you think NASDAQ is made up of Waveoids? They delisted them once before, why not again?
CPA
Snackman,
Lets say they can't get it up. Then they actually don't even meet the requirements of the Capital Markets (under the $1.00). They have to hope the Capital Markets take them.
Read the press release carefully.
OUCH!!!
CPA
gowave,
Because they aren't. I know that if you look deep into your heart, you know this to be correct. Wave would shout it from the mountaintops if it were true.
CPA
weets,
Why wouldn't you think Wave would breakeven before year end. I'm sure you have reason to be more optismistic than Wave's PAID analyist! You have certainly been correct all these years at predicting Wave's future.
CPA
The sky is falling, no doubt about it.
No inclusion in the Intel announcement, delising notice in the next day or two, another round of financing approximately 30 days away.
Doesn't look good.
What goes up, must come down.
CPA
Snackman,
Pure coincidence. I've been out of the office all morning. However, I'm glad that I didn't let you down.
CPA
Snackman,
Support blown! Now what?
CPA
weets,
Other than Waveoids, who knows that? Not many, I'm sure!
CPA
scorpio,
It is the exchange that does the delisting. When Wave has received notices in the past, it has taken them a day or two before they have released the news to the market.
I expect delisting news (in one form or another, like they have filed an appeal) by Wednesday.
CPA
24601,
I agree with your assessment. My response to Flyer was somewhat sarcastic. He inferred that Wave was selling chips.
The only part of your analysis I disagree with is the use of the word "never". Wave certainly did want to sell chips (through licensing, not ones they manufactured) at one time.
CPA
Last time I checked, Wave wasn't selling a 'chip'. I think its just software now. Am I wrong?
CPA
Hmmmm,
What emotion am I sensing there?
CPA
Flyer,
Looks to me like a close artound .82
Without a mention with Intel today, I think the traders are going to bail. I've been in and out today, lost money too for all those who wish to gloat. I think you'll see high 60's to low 70's by the end of the week without any good news.
Maybe low 60's if delisting is posted. JMHO of course.
CPA
Whitewash,
My average is way over .500, more like .750 to .800 if I had to guess.
CPA
Snackman,
I'll place it if .49 counts. I did say 40's.
CPA
Whitewash,
I was wrong this time. Correct last time. Some you get right, some you get wrong. I still think the next round of financing will bring great punishment with it. I'm waiting for that before I ever consider buying.
CPA
So.....if it reaches 100% can one assume you would say its time to sell, at least in the short term?
CPA
Snackman,
Last time you posted that link, you said the sell signal was a good thing because you were a contrarian. Does the buy signal mean you now think one should sell? Or are you only a contrarian when it say to sell?
CPA
Orda,
I thought WaveXpress had a patent on this. Maybe there is a patent violation. But, even if there is, they don't have the money to fight it at the moment.
CPA
