Are you kidding? In any context calling or contacting "sellers" distributors, customers or any of the other suggestions I've read constitute tortious interference by unaffiliated 3rd parties. Your stockholding does not entitle you to disrupt ANY of the company's activities. If you are trying to be helpful and increase the value of your shares become a sales agent as any read of the recent financials would indicate the company needs sales not disruptive questioning of their business relationships. Your questions in a "big cap" stock would most likely result in beig sued for interfering with what are company contracts.
The advertisement by NCC clearly is an attempt to spend the Economic Development grant they have received in furtherance of their mission. Also despite the risks, should the sales materialze that have been referenced you would do yourself more good by accumulating a bigger position.IMO
