What about keeping up with demand? Mop said they are looking to expand their facilities. Isn't the manafacturing process supposed to be green also? Is this absorbant easy to produce in large quanities? After all these posts it seems to me that there is a lot of oil just floating arround waiting for somebody to come by and soak it up with abunch of MOP.
Why? It is a valid question. If MOP has more clients the better for business, right?
Thanks to everyone posting here. I know the questions are redundant and elementary to some you profesional posters. Thanks for putting up with the laymen. GLTA except Rosen and JPMC.
The euro guys are playing with it. IMO
If BP already has MOP as a vendor then wouldn't an additional Oil company be another feather in their hat?
Or do you think the anouncement of a new vendor agreement is already about BP? Are there different forms of status with companies where they can order from a distributor instead of going through he process of the vendor list.
IMO I think we are talking about two different accounts from two different Oil Co.s
I am waiting..for an answer please anybody?
If this statement is from before MOP's press release about the new big oil company putting them on the vendor list and BP did place an order before that, does that mean that MOP is already on the vendor list for BP?
So if BP has already placed MOP on their vendor list then who is the new Oil Company that has put MOP on their vendor list? Also if BP and the other company deem MOP worthy of contracts, doesn't that mean that the other oil companies will have to place orders also if this product becomes an industry standard for spill response large or small?
So if all these companies want some of MOP's product then why wouldn't one of these companies just buy out MOP and have a monopoly on the absorbant until the patents ran out?
One more thing who is the company that is getting hurt the most by MOP taking their part of the market?
These are just questions that I came up with. I don't know much but it seems to me that they are valid quuestions. GLA
I see a buy out. IMO
I already know. I was trying to find out what kind of response I would get. The posters here seem to know so much I thought somebody would be a know it all and break it all down and maybe have some new bit of information. I use these message boards for a lot of research and links. A hook in the water if you know what I mean.
How about this market. The amount of oil that Petrobas said it has found and what it actually did find are two different numbers. If you know what I mean. MOP needs to go to Brazil.

Thanks. This is a piece of crucial Information. But is it enough of a disparity of numbers to have the FDA deny the distribution of the drug? Have there been any past cases that have been denied because of the same disparity? And at the end of the day does it really matter?
How often is Jefferies & Co. right? If they knew their stuff so well then, why don't they just keep their info to themselves? Should we just be following whatever they say is good and what is bad. What is in their interest in telling the world what they think? Themselves. I believe these guys are all in the same boat with the MM. And they all play the little guy like a school of fish. Don't trust the suits. play them.
I don't think ESAI would get on board with ARNA if they didn't know something favorable already. And IMHO they gotta approve something. After all what drug is truly safe? They can over regulate until nothing is avaiable excpt aspirin. Look at all the humbug drugs the FDA has approved in the past. This one from ARNA has got to fly.
What kind of spill is it in Ecaudor?
No you don't
WAMUQ does it's little dance to the MM beat. While the power broker shot callers decide what to do. End of story. We are not in control. Take the ride and shut up.
If it goes to 2 dolllars or 30 dollars. Does it realy matter if it is .10 or .20. Just keep buying if you believe. Hold them because you might wake up one morning and there will be a settlement before anyone knows what is happening. Like its been said "they hold on till near the end". Then right before that they will capitulate. It just a matter of their perception of when it is near the end.
Didn't the Chinese fund part of TPG's money in WAMU?
No. It means that the FDIC had an out from the very beginning. That Bair is smarter than she looks and that we are not done with the surpises yet. Stay tuned. This is chess not checkers.
Is this a way that they can get out of paying the commons. And why didn't anybody catch this arbritrary date for the deal to be finalized. Funny how this stuff comes up at the last minute. Just like Perry Mason.
This is a good thing?
Can you explain what is going on with the FDIC and the takeover deal not being finalized?
I told you guys they still had cards to play.
How much is owed creditors? I this a known number?
This has got to be the classic case of the Fox guarding the henhouse.
I hope so.
Does the new power that the FDIC recently was entrusted with have any sway over this BK case? Can they just say that they did what they did and there is nothing anybody can do. The rules have been changing in Washington lately. Were all these delays due to the timing so they would have more power just in time for the case to get up to speed just so they can protect their own interest. Is JPMC going to hide behind the FDIC? Did the new powers exempt the FDIC from criminal and financial liabilities? I don't know enough. Anybody have an idea on this. Maybe I am being paranoid.
It might be considered that the delay is due to Capital Gains Tax reverting back. The feds will make out large when it goes to $24 pps for commons.
Don't be thinking that delay is a sign of weakness or gullibility from the judge. The only one so far who seems to have been really fooled is Bair by Mr. Dimon.IMO.
Do you guys think you are going too far bashing the judge? She is not the one who did wrong. It is easy to pick apart justice in hindsight. Especialy if it doesn't go exactly like you want. Remember she might be reading these posts. The last thing we want is to get her with any resentments towards the common shareholders. The ice is thick right now. Why do you want to go where it is thin? Please don't rock the boat.
In my limited knowledge I think she is doing alright. Everyone cheered when she appointed the Examiner.
Hey Voodoo
Is there any comment from the Obama administration on this? Is this a good way to give back and redistribute the wealth that the banks are hoarding?
I also think the judge is letting this play out without having any preconceived ruling. After all that is her job. She is not being played like some of you think. I belive that she is giving JPMC enough rope so they can try and wiggle out using their skills at being weasles. And at the end of the day Dimon and Rosen will have made their own bed.
Once In A Lifetime
Everyone keeps saying that WAMU was not or is not broke. Then why is this a bankruptcy case? Wouldn't it be a just give the money back to to the share holders case. And what about the debtors? Aren't there going to be cases that will drag this settlement out for years. everyone talks as if this ruling is going to put cash back in our pockets tommorow. These things alway take years to settle and not everyone goes away happy. This chapter 7 thing scres me. JPMC is not out of tricks. And the FDIC plays by their own rules. They seem to above the law nowdays.
Who got a subpoena today?
If the number that keeps getting quoted the most is 30B for the total value of wamu after the ruling and there are these different types of shares avaiable and each one has different priority over the next. Then is there a set formula to how the shares will be valued or is it arbitrarily up to the judge to decide? And how do all the shorts and the bond holders figure in?
the Chinese are comming after JPMC. They want their money back from various deals. Word from Shanghai is that there is trouble brewing for jpmc. Even jpmc is not big enough to go against China.
Thank You. So don't you think these guys from SAFE are watching things at the very least? If I were them I would be looking to rocoup their losses also? Do they have any claim on equity?
Has anyone ever heard of the Chinese government being involved with WAMU? Such as owning a lot of stock pre takeover. I seem to remember something about that. And is it important?
Isn't there a big meeting tommorow available on the internet?
Huge untapped market. Funny guy.
