hi lucas: Thanks for the PM. I opened a 10K starter position this AM. Like what EWRL is trying to do. Person mark for you. GLTA
Doubloon; when I first got into NEWC (symbol VSUT back then) the talk was that this was a special opportunity because a lot of the coal would be "coking" quality. This is the kind used in steel mills and sells at a hefty premium to "thermal" coal used in power plants. Thermal coal is dying here in the U.S. and Europe as environmental restrictions reduce demand. Did the NI43-101 provide info on amount of "coking" coal found in the reserves? Thanks.
P.S. "Coking" coal is produced by special heat treating of raw coal to drive off impurities. But the higher the quality of the raw coal, the less heat treatment has to be done. I believe that the highest quality raw coal in the U.S. is called "anthracite" and sold at higher prices than ordinary coal.
Some sad news today. I feel bad because cause I was kinda rough on what I considered to be his "pumping". No doubt the dry hole did not help is outlook on life. Peace, bioman.

He had a history of heart trouble.Had a heart attack in the 90's and was on meds since. He passed quietly and peacefully with another heart attack yesterday afternoon.
We were close.Karin knew him longer than I and my thoughts and heart go out to her.She was very close even though she never met him face to face. They were the greatest of friends.I spoke to her today and she,as well as I am not dealing with this very well.Just goes to show that you can make friends online and after time they can become an important part of your life.
Henry was a very giving and caring person and extremely intelligent. He wanted the best for others and loved learning and sharing knowledge. Some may not have appreciated him because of his rough sense of humor but he was a teddy bear when you got to know him.We have all lost a great friend and partner here on the boards and for some of us,even in private life.
i.t.m.d.: Thanks for this post which has helped me to understand how SVFC's stem cell process is treated with regards to the FDA. I am still a bit baffled by the back and forth arguments on the legal issues, but can see the potential that exists for this stock to move up. Opened a 400K position yesterday (Friday). GLTA

Taxi: as a fugitive from and survivor of the Rusty Ridge debacle, I do not see how you can compare Dave Foley and Ken Stead. One of that pair truely belongs in jail, but Dave isn't the one. However, if Dave ever does tweet "We be good!!", I will be sure to dump my NTEK shares immediately. Hope and pray that it doesn't happen though. GLTA
P.S. It appears to me that KTAx has recently gone thru a huge reverse split (1/100??) or maybe even more.

Hey BK; you are just fine. Since I am not very knowledgeable in things biotech, I cannot contribute to the great DD others provide to this board. But when I do find a spot where I can help, I give it a try. Time to go to bed. Go CTIX

info/You decide: Thanks for a great post.
Lonnie; glad I could help you. "Windansea" is the name of surfing beach in La Jolla, CA where I lived for a long time. Hanging in there with NTEK.
Hi Lonnie: according to:
https://www.1031cpas.com/2accountantsInfo/accounting_capitalGainsRules.htm
The American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012 has established the way long-term capital gains will be taxed in 2013 and in the future until the law is once again changed. The top rate for capital gains and dividends will remain at 15% for individual taxpayers with incomes of $400,000 or less ($450,000 for married taxpayers). The top rate for capital gains and dividends exceeding this level of income will rise to 20%.
In A Nutshell, here are the general rules for Federal long-term capital gains tax of individuals on the sale of investment real estate commencing with 2013 -
Maximum Tax Rate Long-Term Capital Gains (property held more than 12 months)
20% High-income taxpayers (see above)
15% Taxpayers in a tax bracket higher than 15%
Later on article says these rates continue unless law is changed.
Born: Look at a 2 year chart, such as:
http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/quickchart/quickchart.asp?symb=NTEK&insttype=Stock&freq=1&show=&time=9
You will see that in the months of Nov. 2012 and early Dec. 2012 there were several days when over 100 million shares were traded at less than 0.002.From my Think Or Swim chart the details are as follows:11/5, 131 million; 11/6, 32 million; 11/7, 92 million; 11/8, 38 million; 11/13 17.5 million; 11/14, 22.7 million; and 12/4, 56 million. During that time there were 16 "low volume" days of less than 3 million shares = say 36 million total. That gives a grand total of 425 million shares traded between Nov 5 and Dec 4, 2012. Assume 50% of those shares were bought and sold by flippers, another 25% were later sold by swing traders and 15% were folks like me who meant to "invest" and hold, but got scared out by bashers like some of the "star" (most followed) posters on this board. I estimate that would leave about 40 million shares still in the hands of deep pockets who can now sell (to them - small portions of their holdings) at the lowest capital gains rate on their 50 bagger and 60 bagger holdings. Can you blame them? All this talk of "shorts and MMs" driving down the price of NTEK is overblown. I would estimate that 1/4 of todays selling is due to profit taking, and 1/2 due to people who bought at higher prices getting out to cut their losses. This kind of thing can only happen in the OTC where there are no "buy and hold" institutions moderating the action by keeping their millions of shares out of the daily action. Anyone who buys a stock that has recently been in 0.00xx territory can expect the same action. The one GOOD thing about what is going on now is that eventually it will cause all of those 0.00xx holdings to disappear as early investors take their profits and move on.IMO and GLTA
woops. Just read many posts responding to Dr. Jerry's Post. Edited mine to talk about relative cost of Prurisol only.
***************************************************************
One of the current psoriasis drugs, Enbrel, is very expensive. I do not know what the expected cost of Aprilimast (and others) will be, but I expect it would be competitive with Enbrel. If Prurisol can be even more economical AND be just a effective, wouldn't doctors and insurance companies make Prurisol the preferred choice?
My wife has a mild condition of psoriasis, but it is still a big issue In her life when an outbreak occurs. I would like to see Prurisol succeed, from the viewpoint of being both a stockholder and a potential customer for one of CTIX's products. IMO
Lukerduker: I eagerly watch out for your EWSI posts which are usually right on, but "RSI" = "basic fundamentals" ??!?!? Didn't you mean "basic technical analysis"? Best wishes all.
Thanks kelt and best wishes with resolving your health issues.
petemantx: did you know that Elmo Zumwalt's son somehow managed to stay in the navy, but later died of cancer? Some speculate his cancer was caused by the Agent Orange he was exposed to in the Mekong Delta. I was in both the Mekong Delta and the Plain of Reeds during the late 60's. Guess it was lucky I came down with Dengue Fever and had to be airlifted outa that mess before getting too much exposure to the AO. Weird how one branch of govt is soooo careful exposing folks in Phase I trials, whereas another thinks nothing of exposing untold numbers of others to "really bad s#$t".
http://www.nytimes.com/1988/08/14/obituaries/elmo-r-zumwalt-3d-42-is-dead-father-ordered-agent-orange-use.html
Dr. Jerry: your statement
"clinical data especially from Dana Farber has to be kept " privileged sensitive info" until at that point in the trial the data has been fully compiled analyzed and published in peer journals."
has me puzzled. Does that mean that such data is hidden from the eyes of hedgefund sleuths like Alan Feurstein, etc? I'd like to know how peer journals do that. Or could it be that OTC small fry like CTIX do not generate the interest from hedge funds needed crack the peer journal wall of secrecy. Glad to read in your later post that you have kept your "accumulated" CTIX shares.
Regards a new director: In view of CTIX's cash position, would it be unreasonable to expect a "known name" new director to sign on who accepts restricted stock as compensation for the 1st year or two?
j&p:Why are posters on this board so focused on revenues? EWSI is still a money losing entity that requires a "going concern" statement at the end of its quarterly reports. Revenues were up, but so were expenses. Hopefully, by next quarter's report EWSI will be showing a profit. GLTA

That was me catching 5K at 0.032 this AM. Sorry to be a BID sitter rather than an ASK slapper at this time, but I just got burned by a coal mine here in the good ol' USofA. Gotta use my remaining nickles with care. Go NEWC.
Nik; I was not aware of "off-shore" accounts for shorts, etc. You are obviously much more advanced in this topic that me. Thanks for the DD and support of NTEK. Since you were so thorough in answering my questions on the Lazergraphics machines so well in POST 109336, I am hoping you could comment on the below:
****************************************************************
There are a lot of references about "NTEK - the future of television" on this board. I assume that these are directed at the hope of a mass market in the future when a lot of 4K content becomes available. I have not seen much talk about the gamers as being a subset of NTEK's market. My next door neighbor is serious gamer and spends tons of money on equipment and games. If a big board stock like EA can be supported by these gamers, shouldn't NTEK be looking into having their games offered in 4K format? Or is that iron already in the fire? Thanks
Nik: I have a margin account at I.B. where I hold my NTEK shares. I called them to ask about placing a "Sell" order on my shares with a far above market price (say $0.70) to make them unavailable for shorting. The broker looked at my history and told me that since I have never actually used margin (borrowed money from I.B.) to buy stocks, I.B. would not lend my shares out.
I.B. can only loan out shares from accounts using margin. The published "shares available to short" can fluctuate due to account owners paying off their margin debt or selling off some stocks to bring their cash positions to "+" instead of "-". That is I.B.'s policy and other brokers may be different.
Wow Pontoon, great post and very imaginative writing. I'm overweight in CTIX myself at the moment, but hope my "nano" stock position is going to take off soon and become the overweight elephant in my portfolio. I'll be more than willing sell off profits in that one to put into CTIX once some positive clinical data gets us moving again, even if I have to pay a higher price.
This board is so businesslike and civilized compared to what is going on over at some of the other boards where I have positions, and I have to visit this one several times a day as a "lurker" just to be reminded that not all IHubbers are pumpers or bashers. GLTA
" we like buying crap stock! thats what we do for fun! any more questions??"
Hey John; thanks for the laugh. Sounds just like what the real John Malkovich would have said. Come to think of it, that might mean you are the real John Malkovich! IMO. Go NTEK
NIK: Thank you for the quick response and detailed reply. This board is fortunate to have someone with connections to the details of the industry who can provide the kind of information as you have just done. Go NTEK.
Nik: Thanks for all of your DD and efforts to refute those who are attempting to instill fear on this board by posting false information. I would appreciate it if you could comment on the below issue concerning NTEK's business at "4K Studio".
******************************************************************
NTEK has purchased and installed a number of processing machines to convert old format files into 4K format. It is my understanding that the technology of these conversion machines is owned by another company, and that these machines are available for sale to others.
While NTEK may have a head start in this endeavor, is it possible that others will be able to enter this business in the future? Or does NTEK have some special technology or business arrangement with the supplier of these machines so that profit margins will be protected for the near future? Thank you.
surehands: the "news" you refer to is only the revenue side of the story. It could be that many investors will be looking for the 3rd Q bottom line when the official report comes out. EWSI has added 7 full time employees, new office space(?) and other costs associated with the quarter's rapid growth. Hopefully, the full report will show Mr. Nielsen had the ability to manage costs so that EWSI shows either break even or slightly profitable quarter. IMO
Heizenberg; It would be prudent for each NTEK owner who has shares in a margin account to check with his individual Broker to find out what that Broker's rules are. I have mine with Interactive Brokers, who told me that my shares could only be lent out for shorting if I was actually using margin myself - that is - borrowing $ from the broker buy more shares. If I did use margin, placing a sale order at a high price would not stop them from loaning out my shares. I never actually haves used margin, but have the margin account so that I do not have to wait 3 days for funds to clear on transactions. GL to you.
"What do they know"
akamaii: are you referring to Aspire? When I was in Peregrine, they got a $30 million loan from a bank to do a Phase III trial based on Phase II lung cancer trial info the company shared with the bank via an NDA. It could be that Leo has Phase I results from DF that he cannot share with the public, but can share with a financing entity via NDA. Hope that is the story, and also hope that that is where the similarity with the Peregrine story ends.
GO CTIX.
M-I-H: Thanks for listing the OTC markets links showing how NTEK has retired many of the shares "nubbie" referred to in his list of 882 million dilution shares. I'll sleep better tonight and hope that a lot of other shareholders here have seen your post as well.
Person mark for you!
Hey REIVAX: happy to hear you will no longer be plastering the NTEK board with your ALL CAPS BIG FONT pumps. Since I won't be looking at your new board, I can remove you from my IGNORE list and use that ignore for another poster who contributes nothing to this board. Good luck with your new adventure.
sheshbesh: welcome to the CTIX board. If you are a "novice investor" why do you want a stock "trading platform"? I believe that the vast majority of posters on this board and a number of other IHub boards are investors, who do not take kindly to "flippers" and others of that ilk - especially those who brag about their trades. Read back a few hundred posts or so on this board to find out why the investment potential of this company is so outstanding. Wish you the best with your "investing".
I hope what's going on here is an attempted bear raid prior to the issue of some good news. Luckily, I have my nano tech shares to more than make up for the red numbers being posted in my account by NEWC. Come on NI43-101, we need you now!
banchrima: I just put in an order for 10K of NTEK @0.143 (ask premarket) in both my IRA account and non-IRA account with no problem. The commission stated was $7.00. I will admit that I.B's commissions on pinks and OTC stocks are not the cheapest, but you can't beat their $1.00 charges for big board stocks. My hassel with them is that I am constantly getting e-mails warning me that I have a potential "margin violation" even though I never use margin and have several thousand $ of cash in each of my accounts. It seems that as the price of my NTEK shares goes up (my biggest value holding) they want me to add more cash so that I do not have a "margin violation".
NOTE: I also have received those "This contract can only be closed" messages for other pink stocks from IB and it turned out they were right. Every one of them is either now in the gray sheets or in the triple zeros. I would call I.B. and find out why you are getting the "only be closed" message for NTEK. GL to you.
Sorry: double post
IPM: Great comment. Thanks for the laugh and first sane post of the morning. Frankly is scares me to see all these "to da moon!" posts this AM. How many times have I witness this euphoria on IHub only to watch it end in the typical pink penny crash. NTEK appears to have a lot more going for it than the other pinks I have been in, so I am holding tight, but would be happy to see 50 cents on Dec 31. GLTA
According to the 13G, the Rule which triggered this filing was Rule 13d-1(c). I have scoured thru the SEC website and Investopedia.com etc. try to find out the details of 13d-1(c), but I always end up in a maze of DO-loops cross referencing other para 13d-x(x) rules. My own understanding is that EWSI made the arrangement with Asher back when the share price was much lower with shares restricted until Oct.15, 2013. Since the restriction is now lifted and shares are free trading, Asher had to submit the 13G since they owned more than 5% and less than 10% of the available shares. If this is incorrect, I would appreciate a response by someone familiar with these SEC rules. Thanks.
Doubloon; I was under the impression that NEWC was primarily about coking coal, which is supposed to have a price premium over thermal coal. Why is "thermal" entering the discussion here? Thanks for any added info. GLTA
Great Post. Thank you.
