Then by your own standard how do you trust one who lies far more? The asshole is still pushing the 'pet eating' in Springfield. He won't protect women, nor will his tariffs not be inflationary. Try thinking, heavy lifting though it is for you, before posting.

A Haitian nonprofit group has filed charges against GOP nominees Donald Trump and JD Vance for their peddling of a pet-eating hoax that has turned Springfield, Ohio, upside over the last month.
The Haitian Bridge Alliance, based in California, announced Tuesday that it has taken advantage of a Ohio law that allows private citizens to file charges without first going through police or prosecutors.
The charges filed against the Republican candidates included disrupting public services, making false alarms, telecommunications harassment, complicity, and aggravated menacing.
Lawyers for the group filed motions asking the Clark County Municipal Court to affirm probable cause and to issue arrest warrants for Vance and Trump, just over a month before Election Day. That request will force the court to have a hearing before it can reject the affidavits, reported News 5 Cleveland.
Subodh Chandra, the Haitian Bridge Alliance’s lead attorney, told NBC 4 that the group hoped to hold Trump and Vance accountable as anyone would be if they spread conspiracies that lead to bomb threats, school closures, and disrupted city services.
“If anyone other than Trump and Vance had relentlessly disseminated false information,” he said. “They would have been arrested by now. So the only question is whether Trump and Vance will be held accountable to the rule of the law like the rest of us.”
Baseless claims about Haitian immigrants were stealing and eating pets in Springfield first spread in August. The hoax was initially limited to niche Republican circles but went mainstream after Trump repeated it during his debate against Vice President Kamala Harris.
Another missing pet claim—the mysterious disappearance of Miss Sassy from a home with Haitian immigrants for neighbors—was debunked after the “missing” kitty was found in the owner’s basement.
Vance has now also admitted that he’s just been making stuff up to get attention. In an interview with CNN’s Dana Bash, he conceded that he kept spreading the harmful pet-eating conspiracy despite it having no legs.
“If I have to create stories so that the American media actually pays attention to the suffering of the American people, then that’s what I’m going to do,” he told Bash.

This isn't a lie and it's.....fresh. Trump is a treason weasel AND a coward.
Trump praises Russia's military record in argument to stop funding Ukraine's fight
Source: AP
SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) — Donald Trump on Tuesday praised Russia's military record in historical conflicts and derided U.S. aid to Ukraine as he again insisted he would quickly end the war launched by Moscow's invasion if elected president.
Speaking in Savannah, Georgia, Trump mocked President Joe Biden's frequent refrain that the U.S. would back the Ukrainian armed forces until Kyiv wins the war. He raised two long ago conflicts to suggest Moscow would not lose — the former Soviet Union's role in defeating Adolf Hitler and the Nazis in World War II in the 1940s, and French emperor Napoleon Bonaparte's failed invasion of Russia more than a century earlier.
Trump insisted that the U.S. had “to get out," though he did not specify how he would negotiate an ending to U.S. involvement in the war.
"Biden says, ‘We will not leave until we win,’” Trump said, lowering his voice to mimic the Democratic president. “What happens if they win? That’s what they do, is they fight wars. As somebody told me the other day, they beat Hitler, they beat Napoleon. That’s what they do. They fight. And it’s not pleasant.”

Move to fucking Russia and spare the rest of us if you want to kiss Pooty's Booty.
1. They had been invaded, those were defensive wars.
This was an offensive war, they invaded Ukraine!
Putin’s puppet.
2. Yeah right. The Russians should know exactly what they are doing fighting in that part of the world
but are a total clusterfuck! They wasted their troops in WWII and just never ran out. They are doing about the same but not against a mostly defeated army this time. That was the situation by 1944.
It's a fair fight with one like you who cherry picks sources and posts outright misinformation. Is Nord Stream clear to you now? Putin would have been in Warsaw by now if Trump had been reelected.

Load a crap from you on Nord Stream. And any pretense that Putin didn't have Trump's mushroom pecker....STILL has it, it ain't heavy.... in his pocket is laughable. And Trump has no plan, rather concepts of plans that have drawn widespread condemnation from most economists. Tariffs? What do you think will happen to today's inflation rate?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nord_Stream
On 6 February 2022, speaking at a joint news conference with German chancellor Olaf Scholz, American president Joe Biden said "If Russia invades … Ukraine again, then there will be no longer a Nord Stream 2. We will bring an end to it." When asked how he would do that, he responded, "I promise you, we’ll be able to do it."[10]
On 26 September 2022, news broke of four explosions at the Nord Stream 1 and 2 natural gas pipelines, rendering three of the four lines inoperable. Three separate investigations were started by Germany, Sweden and Denmark, the latter two were closed without publicly assigned responsibility for the damage in February 2024.[11][12] In June 2024 German authorities issued an arrest warrant for a Ukrainian national suspected of the sabotage.[13]
Although none of the four Nord Stream pipelines were in operation, they still contained pressurized natural gas, of which vast quantities were released into the Baltic Sea.

It's ALWAYS political malpractice and that is SOP for the GOP
But in his letter on Sunday, Johnson made it clear he agrees with many Republicans who have publicly and privately said a shutdown weeks before an election would be politically disastrous.
“As history has taught and current polling affirms,” he wrote, “shutting the government down less than 40 days from a fateful election would be an act of political malpractice.”
Wow, a dumpster fire, a shark, a battery, dancing Trump and JD literally losing his grip. Outfuckingstanding!😂
Trump's public appearances show more than an aging, demented demagogue. Better get prepared for the violence to come.
His crowds are down, which drives the anger and hatred even more. He's losing, knows it, can't admit or deal with it, and his behavior and the direction his campaign is going are an indication that he's losing a lot worse than the media is letting on or allowing the polls to show.
Their line of defense is voter suppression tactics. Mark Elias, last night on Jen Psaki's MSNBC show, pointed out that the litigation is going full force, and that, just like 2020, nothing they're doing is likely to get through the justice system, even with conservative justices, because most of them are going to uphold the law, and they're not going to descend into divisive partisanship. There may be one nut here and there, but most of this is being squashed.
So I think we need to face what's coming. When he loses, and just for the record I think he's going to take a beating along the lines of what John McCain got in 2008, though I am now seeing some commentators in independent media talk about 1964, there will be violence. He's prompting and goading it now. The Republican party will not have many pieces left to pick up if they let him rant on like this up to election day. And his followers are going to try and attack vote counting offices, anyone associated with the election, and wreak havoc if we are not prepared with a high level of security.
The sheriff in Ohio who wanted to target people who put Harris signs up in their yard is just a prelude. He got his hand slapped. He should have been charged with incitement, had his credentials removed and put on trial. I hope that didn't send a message of weakness.
We need to be ready.

Trump's decision to 'downplay the pandemic', his words, mislead with statements about its severity and when it would end, cost lives. Cost jobs too.
https://www.factcheck.org/2021/10/trumps-final-numbers/
Employment — A record nine years and five months of monthly job gains — dating to October 2010 — ended March 2020. The U.S. lost 1.4 million jobs that month.
But the U.S. economy was slowing down even before the pandemic. The U.S. added less than 2 million jobs in 2019 — the lowest annual growth since 2010.
And then the novel coronavirus struck. In two months, March and April 2020, the U.S. economy lost a staggering 21.9 million jobs.
Most of those jobs (57%) would return before Trump left office. But he ended his presidency with an economy that had 2.7 million fewer jobs than when he started — becoming the first president in modern times to experience a net loss of jobs over his time in office, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, which has monthly employment figures dating to 1939.

Mark Robinson Is the Perfect 2024 Republican Candidate
This guy fell out of the wackadoo tree and hit every damn branch on the way down.
By Charles P. PiercePublished: Sep 23, 2024 10:18 AM EDT
I have a modest proposal to bring before the country. It is my considered opinion that we’d all be much better off if the Republicans were to stop inflicting candidates on the rest of us who seem to have been recruited from the nuthouse.
Our latest example is Mark Robinson, the GOP lieutenant governor of the newly insane state of North Carolina who is currently the Republican candidate for the top job. Robinson fell out of the wackadoo tree and hit every damn branch on the way down.
By the way, that was apparent even before this week, when the trolley went off the track for good. From The New York Times:
Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson of North Carolina, the Republican nominee for governor with a long history of inflammatory and offensive remarks in the battleground state, on Thursday vowed to stay in the race as CNN reported that he had once called himself a “black NAZI!” and defended slavery on a pornographic forum.
In an 82-second video released before the CNN article had published, Mr. Robinson sought to undercut the report, which unearthed old comments that he had reportedly made on “Nude Africa,” a pornographic site with a message board. Mr. Robinson, a social conservative who has been a strident opponent of transgender rights, also posted about how he enjoyed watching transgender pornography, according to CNN, describing himself as a “perv” who liked “tranny on girl porn.”
This is not the kind of lede that any consultant wants to see written about his candidate. That is especially true when the candidate in question has already established his high-wingnut bona fides by doing things like bad-mouthing the survivors of the Parkland school shooting and confessing to being, to be generous, at least Hitler-curious. The CNN story in question is insanely detailed and the details are…well, insane.
Yet privately under the username minisoldr on Nude Africa, Robinson graphically described his own sexual arousal as an adult from the memory of secretly “peeping” on women in public gym showers as a 14-year-old. Robinson recounted the story as a memory he said he still fantasized about.
None of this prevented the former president* from calling Robinson “Martin Luther King on steroids.” CNN explains:
Robinson, who would become North Carolina’s first Black governor if elected, also repeatedly maligned civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr., attacking him in such intense terms that a user accused him of being a white supremacist. “Get that f*cking commie bastard off the National Mall!” Robinson wrote about the dedication of the memorial to King in Washington, DC, by then-President Barack Obama. “I’m not in the KKK. They don’t let blacks join. If I was in the KKK I would have called him Martin Lucifer Koon!” Robinson responded.
Robinson’s unique choice of language further links him to the “minisoldr” alias on the pornographic forums. Uncommon phrases such as “gag a maggot,” “dunder head,” “I don’t give a frogs a**,” and “I don’t give two shakes of it” were used both by minisoldr on Nude Africa and by Robinson on his personal Facebook page.
Look, I happen to live in a state severely lacking in crazy under the color of law. Here in the Commonwealth (God save it!), our pols are occasionally crooked, and occasionally stupid, and even, very occasionally, Republicans. But even our Republicans generally color inside the lines.
I mean, Mitt Romney was our governor, for pity’s sake. He was shifty, and he doesn’t have the intellectual honesty God gave a ferret, but there was a certain comfort in going to bed at night knowing that you weren’t going to wake up to a story about Willard surfing around a website called Nude Mormon.
But the Republican insistence on nominating crazy people elsewhere affects us all. If you nominate and elect Tommy Tuberville to the United States Senate, we all have to pay a price. If you allow rancid weeds like Matt Gaetz and Paul Gosar and Marjorie Taylor Greene to grow at your grassroots, cut them off before I have to put up with them.
I remember when it looked like Nevada was going to inflict Sharron (The Chicken Lady) Angle and Maryland was going to hand us the famous non-witch Christine O’Donnell, and I thought that truly was one step beyond. Turns out there is no Beyond. Mark Robinson is proof of that. He should stay on the ballot. He is the perfect GOP candidate for 2024.
This is entirely on the Republicans. It’s up to them to shut down the asylum. It’s up to them to pull up the drawbridge at the doors of Bedlam. The Democratic party’s job is to beat the crazy people, over and over again, until Being Nuts is no longer a viable political strategy in this country. As I said, I’m willing to tolerate a certain amount of crookedness and a certain amount of political duplicity. I’ll even celebrate a certain amount of chicanery, as long as it is well wrought and does no lasting damage. Those are the things that leaven the bread of self-government.

And it seems to me that a disproportionate amount of the violence occurs in the wee hours of the morning.
So don't go there, but especially not at 2-3 am.
Four reasons why it is MORE likely that Harris voters will be underestimated in this election
Trump maxxed out his support from 'hidden voters' in 2020, surpassing 2016, but I don't believe there's any way he can pull that trick one more time, especially with the way everything has been going for him. He's shedding support rather than adding it.
Instead, I think the polls are under-counting Harris supporters this time, while pollsters have tried to adjust to account for those 'hidden Trump voters' of 2016 and 2020 by inflating the presumed 'Trump vote'. I believe the pollsters will dramatically underestimate support for the Democratic ticket.
Reasons:
#1 Democrats had little in-person ground game in 2020 because of COVID, while the Republicans DID work door-to-door-- and I believe that factor alone accounted for much of Biden's under-performance vs. his polling. THIS year, it's the OPPOSITE-- Democrats have the ground game, while the GOP is relying on outside groups to do their canvassing for them--- people whom leading Republicans are now fretting about, because they have little evidence that the job is being done.
#2 DOBBS DOBBS DOBBS!!! Women aren't forgetting it, and Kamala Harris is doing everything she can to remind them about it. Democrats have been over-performing their polls in elections ever since, because women outnumber men, they are pissed, and they are VOTING for Democrats!!! Special elections, which have been shown to be predictive of later presidential election results, have all been going in our party's favor, with our candidates out-performing their polls by an average of four percent, and sometimes as much as eight percent! (THERE's your "hidden voters"!)
#3 New voter registration among young people and young women has been spiking in excitement over the Harris candidacy, and we now have the "voter enthusiasm" advantage over the Trump voters. This is big. I'll throw Taylor Swift into this mix.
#4 The endless stream of Republicans endorsing the Harris-Walz ticket and speaking out against Trump grows bigger by the day-- and is giving disgruntled Republicans "cover" to vote against Trump. We didn't have that in 2020 except for a small handful, but now it is a river demonstrating how Trump is losing support from members of his own party.
My conclusion:
There isn't going to BE any "overstatement" of Harris support by pollsters prior to this election, and I believe I have just shown FOUR BIG REASONS why it is more likely to be support for Harris which will be underestimated in this election.
It will all come down to GOTV in the end, of course,
but in 2024, we are NOT
"sailing against the wind" !!!!
All the wind is at our back!

The sheriff’s department in Portage County, Ohio has been stripped of its election security duties after its MAGA sheriff said people displaying Kamala Harris signs in their yards should have their addresses recorded so illegal immigrants can be sent to their homes.

C'mon, an 'unnecessary nuisance'? Everyone who posts has both good and bad aspects about where they live to either defend or constructively criticize. Chicago has its problems, but no one takes on myself or newmedman on that subject without wishing they hadn't. 😏
Also, guilt by association (in this case where one is located) can be an unnecessary nuisance.
The Borowitz Report- Melania Says She is Proud of Nude Modeling But Embarrassed About Marriage

NEW YORK (The Borowitz Report)—In a new video released on Monday to promote her forthcoming book, Melania Trump revealed that she is proud of her nude modeling work but “deeply embarrassed” about her marriage.
“I’m glad that I posed for those nude photos, which are an artistic celebration of the female form,” she asserted. “Conversely, there are pictures of me with Donald Trump all over the Internet and I can't take them down."
"I ask the American people to focus on my nude modeling and try to forget about the other thing,” she added.
While admitting there was “no excuse” for having married Trump, she said, "You do things for money when you're young that you regret for the rest of your life.”
