Thanks locks. Don't know about speculation but I just plain don't get it, the reason for my question. I received one PM that was helpful.
Tell us what you're thinking Booger and locks....Can't stand the suspense.
955 million....that's just short of a Billion..hmmmmmm. Are you thinkin' what I'm thinkin' ?
I picked up some today at .0048. Have a second trigger at .0046. Not that I am a million dollar stock guru but the price seemed right and infrastructure seems to be forming for the future.
Weekly chart follows: What's your target to pick more up?
Yes absolutely. That's what I meant. Would love to go to Germany if $$ permit. Maybe we could skype in Vegas facility?
You didn't ask me dragon but I think tomorrow is important because Examiner will say there is more to evaluate than meets the eye OR not. PPS irrevalent but an important fork in the road for all reading 18 million posts.haha. IMO. GLTU
Thank you for the explanation. Pic interesting too. Hope your holiday was good.
All that info in article is true. I would add that until recently Reproductive Endocrinologists would implant 2, 3, 4, 5 embryos because it was a safe bet that one or more wouldn't "take" and the patient would have to go through IVF all over again. A VERY costly and emotionally draining process. A practical approach as long as the patient realized they were at risk for "multiples". It can go a step further by giving the patient the option to selectively reduce one of the embryos should they all "take." "Go figure" that type medical procedure is legal but not using discarded embryos for research or medical therapy. Makes perfect sense, right??? NOT
Actually it illustrates a point that not all embryos "make it" even when implanted under expert care. The methods have improved so much that most topnotch docs don't over implant. That change is due to technology improvement not moral considerations.
You lost me on that post tony. Planned parenthood info helpful.
Oh well, Germany a bit pricey for me.
Catz could the "filing under seal" approach include the Examiner's document for 9/7? I just assumed that would be the case but don't know for sure.
I wonder if Matt would host an open house or Grand Opening 2 in Nevada. Perfect location, of course. I don't know what the surprise he has in mind for Longs but sounds like a good excuse for a party! We need some lightheartedness.
Dont Sweat it I will round up all the Longs who also went to The Grand Opening. When CBAI has there Expansion party,I have most of there contact info and will be calling them in soon enough.
I was reading some mail today concerning a Class action suit on one of my former stocks, Dendreon, and learned that Susman Godfrey was the lead counsel. The more I learn about him, it is evident he is an incredibly prominent lawyer. Of course we knew that but good to have confirmation.
The facts of these cases are totally different but there are a few events related to the class action that remind me of our case and illustrates the breadth of experience SG has.
Wish I had the abiity to extract relevant parts or highlight but PDF won't allow.
http://www.gilardi.com/dendreon/
If you glance through the Pendency of Class Action you will see there is a request for Partial Summary Judgement on October 18th #13 point. Has anyone heard of this term?
In the Third amended complaint, check out #5 through #11. It appears the bottom line is that the company misrepresented a report of the FDA to shareholders attracting many new buyers, myself included. Six weeks later the FDA announced the problems needing resolution and the stock went from $17 to $6 immediately. During that period of time, some insiders sold several shares and bought back in at lower prices after FDA announcement which Susman is alleging security fraud etc. Don't know if March 12 statement could be or will be construed as misrepresenting the truth in the future but I'm guessing Susman would be considering as a possibility after reading this brief.
I didn't read this whole document in depth but I am more convinced than ever that Susman has a variety of approaches to wear his opponents down. All good IMO.
Have a great holiday all!
Seems like we have a bit of competition going on for the post of the day. I vote for mofnc, RN. my friend. NICE
My point, obvious.... awareness, change, education, foresight, and the future. We are in the transition period for this industry and it's future. I said it before, it WILL happen, we will succeed, we will prosper. If you don't have the stomach for the PPS and volatility then don't gamble with your money
Great pics tony
Great post ML. My favorite part is the going up the roller coaster prior to the frantic screaming going down. One of the things I've learned in my xx years of management is that if a negative groupthink exists in some unfortunate situations... always accentuate the positive and ignore the rest. On other boards, the word iggy comes to mind. IMO the positive will surface over time and if not, I guess we will all move on. GLTA. I think CBAI will prevail.
Blue I don't know if you know Mandi Swartz but your reference to young female athletes reminded me of another tribute to young women who have struggled to find a cure. I have no connection to MD Anderson but the story moved me. I think it is special.
http://www.mdanderson.org/patient-and-cancer-information/care-centers-and-clinics/childrens-cancer-hospital/about-us/kims-place.html
Great find Blue. I hope the anticipated DOJ interpretation ends up being true, I guess. I am conflicted because an ESC interpretation enabling existing projects to go forward would ultimately mean less money for less controversial things like UCSC research and directly and indirectly our stock. However, it's that medical science thing once again....dang like a good murder mystery. We all want to know the bottom line truth about life and treatment of life's ailments, right? If stems cells or ESC research gets us there, who can judge?
That's a great idea. Germans seem very open minded and a few on this board. International connection.
Well...how about we start sending our news overseas for potential publication? We all know the media is controlled by a bunch of greedy bastards. How about we also consider opening up the stories to those who will print the truth and let it eek out that way???
Thanks Tony. Interesting info which rings true to me.
I've been thinking about this placenta stem cell collection info and can't really see that the idea or process itself could be patented. If Lifesciences developed a "gadget" that made the process easier and preserved more cells, that certainly could be patented. Think about the first open heart surgery to replace blocked coronary arteries. No one would dream of a patent in that case. If placentas produce retrievable stem cells to be used to advance a treatment or therapy, the medical community should converge on that idea to maximize the potential so it is highly published. Medical science is just that way. The greater good. Devices to make the process easier...yes absolutely patent material. You may have already understood that premise as a given. Thinking out loud.
Great article. Thx. Sooo interesting. I believe I read something about this in a medical journal recently but have to spend some time thinking where that was.
Who is tht person tony? Maybe I should know but I don't
This is such a powerful message ML. I read your post recently concerning how HC workers are unanimous in their support of public banking, pretty much as your post describes here. IMO there has to be some middle ground between private and public banking, including an "opt out" cause for those who feel benevolent at the time of birth but can't quite keep up with $$. What are your thoughts on this subject? I think it's an important question and you are an informed consumer.
Wow. That video is interesting ML. It annoys me actually but the bigger picture is that there appears to be a competitive market for this business which is all good news of course.
I checked out their website (Allere)and it appears their core business is translating medical lingo into everyday terms to help regular investors understand what type of decisions they are making in practical terms and of course they too would make a profit.
Interesting....where do I sign up? I work for cheap or free lol
In any case. I don't know for sure but it appears that individuals sponsor them to "drill down" in terms of explaining why their product would be a good investment. It makes sense to me. Perhaps CBAI has signed up.If Matt has become a client of this company IMHO a good thing. It is a complicated message they are trying to send requiring a fair amount of baseline knowledge. I get it.
Keep us informed on that front P3FE. If you have the opportunity ask your friend if my theory is correct. Just curious. GLTU
What the heck is that thing? Gruesome IMO
I think that statement is hilarious. Think about it. For example, I probably have the best health and am in the best shape of my life right now but am dying a slow death, which is commonly known as aging. I knew it...I should have been a journalist. The wordsmithing awesome. Thanks for sharing.
In contrast, Washington Mutual Inc. (WAMUQ)--which the FDIC seized and sold on Sept. 25, 2008--had been dying a much slower death, which gave regulators much more time to plan its resolution, he said.
I don't know your particular situation Royal but if you have the guts for this stock...you can do anything!!! GLTU
You are absolutely right tool. They made that decision in a hot minute on some type of information, I mean asset list.
Just how did they have adequate time to understand WaMu when they don't even have a list of assets??
idk sent Matt a friend request. Seemed like the path of least resistance.
Ok so maybe I should know this but how should I sign up? I am FB member but couldn't figure out how to get on CBAI list. Banking list brought up.
That's very interesting locks. Thanks for sharing.
K. I get it. Showing my age once again as I struggle to return voice mails vs the social media thing. haha. Looking forward like everyone else to great news.
This company is heavily into social media and inbound marketing.
Oh c'mon neckto eye, did he really say that?
I don't mind going out and answering questions. But I ask that questions like CBAI Waiting's are just deleted. He could have asked it in a much more respectful manner. I'm not interested in going down to his level of chat board "tit for tat." It's a waste of everyone's time. His question is legitimate, though, that's why I answered it.
Wasn't Geron the company that rebuffed an offer from Sanofi Aventis recently? No wonder. Good for them and thanks for posting.
Wow. I'd like to know the answer to that question myself Jeff M GLTU & A
an account that (listed with Scottrade) back in 2005 was listed for $5500/share. Someone stated they owned over a million shares of said stock and sold it. I'm just trying to figure what that person is doing today messing around with penny stocks.[/quote]
Ouch. No wonder you are cynical at times.
Yeah but did you pass the quiz??haha. I can't believe they included a quiz. Have a great day.
OK I'll bite. What news would that be?
Here's some autologous info holter.
http://www.cancercenter.com/stem-cell/stem-cell-autologous.cfm
Although the graphics are a little gimmicky on this one it does explain the difference between stem cells in a straightforward way.
