Great Day! I agree, this early in the pre hurricane season and we'r on a run already!
Might have to up the projections!
"You can debate officers, operations etc, but one fact is certain, this is a Hurricane Seasonal play"
In response to your crap comment!
You seemed to have missed my whole point!
Success in your endeavors!
And just as this is a Seasonal/Hurricane play, you would see operations open up where ever a storm hit.
First hand knowledge of the back to back Jean and Francis Hurricanes of 2004 here in Florida, and roofing companies that already were in business sprung up out of nowhere with multiple offices and multiple work crews, and all had 6 month backlogs of work if not more !!!
They were so busy you were lucky to get a roofing contractor to come to your house or business and give you an estimate, more less do the work in any kind of reasonable time frame.
Roofing prices doubled if not more, and it wasn't uncommon for contractors to be offered premiums to have your job moved up on the work schedule.
You can debate officers, operations etc, but one fact is certain, this is a Hurricane Seasonal play!
With a higher then normal amount of storms predicted this year, and having NONE last year, this looks pretty good to me for a run into the .02 + range, and if we get landfall of a major storm, even more so!
Out of nowhere offices will open up overnight like they did in the 2004 back to back hurricane in Central Florida, salesman will be on the road, and crews will be formed.
For those who don't know Florida, and thru the Panhandle, right into Mississippi and Texas has one of the highest unemployment rates in the country. Central Florida is just over 14% unemployed alone.
So roofing and labor crews would not be hard to find almost overnight.
With El Nino already stating to change, we're seeing a warming of the waters in the Atlantic already and with June 1st the start of the Cane season IMO its the reason NSMG has already started its move.
Colorado State University's hurricane forecast team is predicting an above-average season for the Atlantic basin in 2010, which includes all tropical storms and hurricanes in the Caribbean Sea and Gulf of Mexico.
The forecast calls for 15 named tropical storms, of which eight will become hurricanes. A tropical storm becomes a hurricane when its sustained wind speeds surpass 74 mph. Of those eight, four are expected to develop into major hurricanes (Category 3, 4 or 5) with maximum wind speeds of 111 mph or greater.
Looking at averages that go back to 1950, a typical Atlantic hurricane season sees 10 named storms — six of them hurricanes, with two major.
"We expect current moderate El Nino conditions to transition to neutral conditions by this year's hurricane season," says Phil Klotzbach, lead forecaster on the Colorado State hurricane forecast team. "The dissipating El Nino, along with the expected anomalously warm Atlantic ocean sea-surface temperatures, will lead to favorable dynamic and thermodynamic conditions for hurricane formation and intensification."
Colorado State's Tropical Meteorology Project is the nation's longest-running and most well-known forecast team. Begun by William Gray in 1984, these seasonal forecasts are used by insurance companies, emergency managers and the media to prepare Americans for the season's likely hurricane threat
Above Average Storm Season Predicted:
Univ. of Colorado just predicted an above above average Hurricane Season for 2010.
Hurricane Season starts June 1st!
Maybe so, but product is on the Shelf in the Sebastian FLorida Walmart! Wife bought one (sponge bob Sponge) for our grandson
yesterday!
Agree with you completely on prospects, but I think the Boss is streetwise enough to know he also has to play to the politic's of the market at the same time.
I agree with you on that!
Track Moist is imo a sleeper here and in itself will substantially increase the bottom line here, but I think this was a teaser, a PR to set the momentum, to tease the interest for the anticipated push.
Walmart Sebastian, Fl - Been out of SPNG for some time, but wife just called me and said she is with our grandson in Walmart with a Spongetech Spongebob sponge retailig for $4.98 in her hand.
Just thought I'd pass the info along!
Weakening El Nino More Storms:
At the conference’s opening session Wednesday, National Hurricane Center Director Bill Read credited the quiet 2009 season to El Niño, the pattern of warm Pacific waters that tends to hinder tropical storm formation.
But with the hurricane season set to start on June 1, El Niño is showing signs of weakening, which could mean more storms.
Colorado State’s Klotzbach told the conference that computer models suggest “El Niño, which is our friend and kept hurricane activity down last summer, will be gone by June or July.”
And, Read said, “Make no mistake. The cold water you see in the Gulf of Mexico, when the big microwave in the sky starts working on it in June and July, we should see plenty of activity.”
Hurricane Season Prediction: 2010
Accuweather.com released its early hurricane season forecast on March 12, 2010. According to Chief Long-Range Meteorologist and Hurricane Forecaster Joe Bastardi, the 2010 hurricane season will be busier than the 2009 season. Bastardi predicts that the 2010 season will bring 15 tropical storms and 5 hurricanes. He expects 2 or 3 hurricanes to make major landfall in the U.S. The Accuweather.com forecast is based on a weakening El Nino, warmer ocean temperatures, weakening trade winds, and higher humidity levels than in 2009. http://www.accuweather.com/blogs/news/story/25984/joe-bastardi-more-active-2010-1.asp10
Well said! Again!
Here for the same reason and agree with you except for the part of killing kittens and puppy dogs in their spare time! Draw the line there!
Seriously though, IMO, this has a way to go, expecially with a more then active storm season being predicted!
Here for the storm and will leave and bask in the sun when its over and from the profits made by coming in early!
Todays opening should give you some insight! But do your own DD, I did, and am here for the run!
Let me add my Thanks here also!
Exactly! Credibility and Confidence!
It wasn't that the Illinois National Guard Contract dollar amount was an earth mover in dollar amount, but just as you said, it showed a lot for SARO.
What it takes to obtain, or even be qualified to bid on government contracts shows SARO is on the move.
With the amount of bids they are pursuing, to me, imo, its simple percentages, they have obtained substantial contract noted in the recent PR (8 million in contracts) and will obtain more.
From these levels, we may just see that once in a blue moon run.
Completely agree!
Absolutely a great day!
I agree 100% and feel this is the finish of a perfect day and steady continued run that will reach a level and move again on more contract announements and other positive developements.
Thats a solid point you made there about the 250 employee's!
Good info not only on them buying in, but also the amount of people working for the various companies that make up fast-tech SARO!
IMO, gathering for the run.
Those who can, are! Those who know, are! Those who control IMO are expecting a once in a blue moon run here, and are positioning themselves!
IMO, A solid game plan.
For the longest time we had nothing announced at all. Then a few contracts, one being with the National Guard.
Then we see the web site come to life with a list of bids they are pursuing.
Now the recent pr announcing the 8 mil in contracts with word that financial are being worked on and will soon be released.
Don't know when the financials will be released, but don't think any of the above happened by accident! All in a plan to move the pps! IMO!
And I'm here to enjoy the ride!
Financial would be a one two punch, and if released soon as they are said to be, then it would continue the attention and imo run!
And if another contract PR? IMO we may see one of those once in a blue moon runs!
National Guard Contract was a sign of continued operations and thats where I felt good about that PR.
Overall contract dollar amount was not that big to really make the PPS move imo, but it was a sign of continuted operations and now followed by the recent contract PR's with the appearance of more to come and financials imo leads to a run!
My confidence soared when they announced a few contracts in the past several months, especially the one with the National Guard.
Then the change of the website showing the contracts they were pursuing.
From the low's of what the pps was and IMO still is, the rewards far outweighed the risk!
Looking forward to a good week.
Good to Hear! Thanks! Looking forward to this week.
Another good sign! IR speaks to the investors!
If that 35 mill number comes out, even in the unaudited financial, it will confirm what has been said for the last couple of month here on this board!!
We're getting there! Especially if financial are released! Boom!
It does have the making of a huge run!
For new people here, you should realize as in many penny's there was hype, looking forward comments etc. ANd low and behold, contrary to most others, it really looks like its coming together here!
One of the few times the hype of acquistions, mergers, revenue and contracts may just be coming together for that once in a while 10 to 20 bagger from the low.
End of the day should give us an indication of what we may see on monday.
We get the financials and this is really going to run big time! Been a believer for some time! Great when a plan comes together!
Potential is definetly here, especially if another contract is announced!
I agree!
We recently see some PR's announcing contracts!
We see an updated web site listing bids that they are pursuing!
We get a management restructuring annoucement today!
Writing on the wall that she is waking up and moving forward?
IMO ... very well worth the risk at these prices!
What we need now is a solid contract announcement showing us the Money!!!!!
Positive News! Everything could possibly be coming together here for a Home Run and 5 to 10 bagger!
Enjoyed the comments Jimmy Mac! Good Luck! A another new move today! Did you lose the love to soon?
I completely agree!
IMO your right about the MM's! or who ever these other's are who buy the so called dilution shares!
Someone is buying! And why? For a later run? Probably so!
SARO is doing business with the recently annouced contract for the Ill. National Guard and that College, and actively pursing other contracts.
So the company although small is alive and doing business. IMO, perfect storm for purchasing diluted shares by MM's or others and then take the profits on a planned run down the road.
Doesn't someone have to buy if they are selling into the market?
And just my opinion, but with these levels those who may be buying these shares that are being put into the market are who? and why?
Or, some Few loaded up! Now we wait and see why!
Someone loaded up, and on a friday. Hmmmm!
