After hours trade up 17.5 cents on 3500 shares.
I believe the new Shelton lab qualifies as a level 3/4 biosafety lab.
My opinion is that after NNVC brought on board several consultants with real-world experience in new drug startups, they realized that they had been way too optimistic. Then when the low toxicity "problem" arose it compounded the problem. I think they are now on track and will meet the upcoming milestones more easily.
That was a very lucid and well reasoned point/counterpoint refutation of the arguments that NNVC insiders are using market strategies to enrich themselves. The idea that any insider would sacrifice multi-million dollar gains from stock price appreciation for penny-ante options fees is ludicrous. I don't believe you'll be getting many links to such strategies.
It sounds as if these sleazeball promoters would be right at home with Pump terminator and his Seeking Alpha buddies.
I repeat, even if they did pay a promoter years ago, what difference does it make today. When someone comes up with a provable fact that NNVC is a scam, then I'll believe them.
If nanoviricides passing through the blood brain barrier was a problem I believe it certainly would have arisen in the post-mortems on at least some of the 5,000 animals that were tested.
In the name of God what event that occurred in NNVC's past six years ago has any bearing at all on what is happening today. If we're going to bloviate about something let it at least be about current events. Like labs and tox.
Please remember that when Dr. Diwan bought the Shelton shell (pun intended) it was after NNVC decided it could not find a contract manufacturer that could produce the cides for less. And, that it would take longer and possibly divulge Intellectual property secrets. NNVC was not in a financial position to build a production facility on its own at any reasonable cost for borrowed money. Dr. Diwan obviously had enough faith in the outcome of his lifelong pursuit to risk his own money -- and so he did. Now that the facility is complete NNVC (thanks to Milton Boniuk and others) is in a position to purchase the lab. So, all's well that ends well. Also, Dr. Diwan should make a profit on the transaction. After all, he risked his own money. (Or maybe, in his own mind it was no risk at all).
NR I always considered you as being relatively agnostic in your views of NNVC. Your comments lately seem to have more of a bitter edge. Since you say you have profited from swing trading the stock why do the decisions of Diwan and Seymour matter so much to you.
Please name the individuals in that parade so we can judge their credibility via-a-vis NNVC's and BK's claims.
I believe that was sarcasm.
Would you please enumerate what you think are the Nanoviricide failures. I want to compare them to what I consider their successes.
I'm sorry but I missed the too-good-to-be-true hype of AMRN you allude to. please refresh our memories.
Amarin (AMRN) produces Vascepa an Omega-3 fatty acid designed to lower triglycerides in heart patients. The company in no way is similar to Nanoviricides. I see the company was the subject of a Seeking Alpha article. Could that explain the stock's downward turn?
Please provide a list of previous bio-wrecks whose demise you prominently forecast. Together with documentation of your forecast.
The post from NNVC today states that the company will purchase the Shelton facility from Innohaven.
I think it was a blanket invitation to all shareholders and special guests.
BK, Is it necessary for NNVC to furnish all tox materials to BASi at once or can they do it in installments? What is the process for the FDA to approve the product from a new cGMP facility and how long does it take after the three identical batches are produced? thanks
NNVC, DR. Seymour, and Dr. Diwan are not responsible for the test requirements set by the FDA. The fact that the FDA requires a dosage level that essentially kills the animal tested, is designed for a different type of drug. This is akin to giving the test subject ten pounds of aspirin to see if it will harm it. Until the FDA revises its protocols to account for this new generation of drugs the development companies are stuck with it. Thus, NNVC will rely on the more sane requirements of administrations such as Australia.
Bunny, as a former supporter of NNVC I'm just curious as to what made you so angry. I'd love to see you back on board with the longs.
Didn't everyone notice -- it's July 15th and NNVC started Tox tests today. They must have because Rawnoc said they would. Bet on it. Take it to the bank.
The suit can't be thrown out until the judge hears both the plaintiff and defendant briefs. Every dog has his day in court.
The lawsuit filed by Yidam against Anil Diwan, whether an individual or a company, failed three times to gain acceptance in court. It has been filed again in a fourth jurisdiction and is likely to be thrown out again, Courts do defer to precedence in other jurisdictions.
The data presented to the English Health authorities was sufficient for them to grant approval for and orphan drug status for Nanoviricides treatment of the virus that causes Dengue Fever. That is sufficient confirmation for me and most logical thinking people.Anyone can twist the logic to meet their own agendas but that does not negate the value of the Orphan Drug status in England as well as the EU community.
So, Public Health of England granted orphan status to a Nanoviricides drug on the basis of thinking there might be something there?
Well said I NEED HELP.
If it's irrelevant why keep bringing it up?
Peer reviewed papers are for research scientists who live in ivory towers and must publish or perish. No one in the real world of business is going to publish their secrets for the world to infringe upon. We will know all we need to know about the science of Nanoviricides in due time.
Pretty darn well, I think, They must, to be able to put in 12 hour days in the lab.
We each must live with our own conscience. I sleep well at night since I've not posted anything on NNVC that is not factual.I DON'T KNOW IF THAT'S TRUE OF MANY ON THIS BOARD.
It isn't necessary for any poster to say something nice about NNVC. It is only necessary to say something that is factually correct.
I did. Still didn't see your quotes in there.
I don't recall any of that language in the judge's ruling. Certainly not the obscenities. Perhaps you thought you were paraphrasing something the judge didn't say.
Exactly, but his investments have allowed the company to progress without dilutive stock offerings. By my definition that is a major contribution.
Dr. Milton Boniuk's contribution is $12,000,000 in investments to allow Drs. Diwan and Seymour to complete NNVC's groundbreaking and paradigm shifting work in viral treatment.
Dr. Milton Boniuk,81, a world renowned ophthalmologist and eye surgeon at Baylor University School of Medicine and chair of the department, just invested another $5,000,000 in Nanoviricides (NNVC)bringing his total investment to $12,000,000. NNVC is a development stage biotech that has exhibited encouraging treatments for a variety of viral conditions. Their major focus is now on influenza treatments. NNVC has completed pre-toxicity studies that display low or no toxicity and are set to begin FDA enabling toxicity studies this summer.
Dr. Boniuk became interested in NNVC when his sister,Dr. Vivien Boniuk, conducted tests of an NNVC viricide at a major Long Island research hospital for the treatment of viral eye diseases and reported extremely good outcomes.
Dr. Milton Boniuk, who is 81 and a member of the NNVC BOD, seems confident that he will live to see his investment come to successful fruition in the near future.
Changing the subject. AGAIN!!! Still doesn't change the facts or history.
Changing the subject does not change the facts,
