Dr. Milton Boniuk,81, a world renowned ophthalmologist and eye surgeon at Baylor University School of Medicine and chair of the department, just invested another $5,000,000 in Nanoviricides (NNVC)bringing his total investment to $12,000,000. NNVC is a development stage biotech that has exhibited encouraging treatments for a variety of viral conditions. Their major focus is now on influenza treatments. NNVC has completed pre-toxicity studies that display low or no toxicity and are set to begin FDA enabling toxicity studies this summer.

Dr. Boniuk became interested in NNVC when his sister,Dr. Vivien Boniuk,conducted tests of an NNVC viricide at a major Long Island research hospital for the treatment of viral eye diseases and reported extremely good outcomes.

Dr. Milton Boniuk, who is 81 and a member of the NNVC BOD, seems confident that he will live to see his investment come to successful fruition in the near future.
