Please explain why a fifty-thousand share buy at the open can lead to a 15 cent decline in the stock. I don't believe we're ever going to get another positive PR. How long has it been now?
When does no-news stop being good news?
What is your basis for assuming tox is dead for 2015. As far as we know BASI is injecting beagles as we speak. I've seen nothing definitive to the contrary.
Like the character in your cartoon "I'll drink to that."
I believe your pictures answer that question. Did you watch all those Charles Bronson avenger movies?
I believe NNVC will not receive any reports from USAMRIID until they have completed animal studies. Their tests for Ebola One were more promising in their in vitro tests than they later proved to be in vivo. I think they will want to see those results prior to commenting.
Who says it will be a liability?
Sounds as if you must have taken your own cide by mistake.
I just don't get it. The two key events everyone has been waiting for with bated breath and the stock is down 12 cents. Is it just me or has the world turned upside down? Wake me up a year from now. Maybe we'll be at $3.
What we need is NNVC to announce something major before the stock slides further down the tubes. I can't believe that they have nothing to say four days before the annual meeting. Tox testing and Ebola preparation have been going on for weeks and months. Surely there is something to announce. Tempis fugits and tempers flare.
I can't disagree with your analysis. NNVC is sitting on a proverbial gold mine (IMO). I just hope they uncover the vein before the shaft gets flooded.
Is that quote from Russell, as in Bertrand?
I WONDER WHO STARTED THAT RUMOR ---WINK, WINK.
Someone seems to be the self-appointed Form 4 policeman. I hope he can make an arrest soon.
The $4+ million is in addition to the +/- $5 million already invested in renovation and equipment. Total cost near $10,000,000.
Fair Enough!
If reliable independent authorities certified that NNVC paid InnoHaven precisely what they had invested in the new Shelton laboratory then how do you equate that with enrichment for Anil Diwan. The worst case to be made is that he moved his money from one pocket to the other.
Pope Julius to Michelangelo Buonarotti concerning the finishing of the Sistine Chapel fresco after years of effort,
"When will you make an end to it?"
I to Anil Diwan after NNVC's years of effort to perfect Flucide.
"When will you make an end to it?"
Quoted in a Connecticut paper, "We'll be in clinical trials in 15 to 18 months."
I would hardly describe raising survivabiLity from 5 to 7 days a dismal failure. If Ebolacide 1 did that just think what Ebolacide 2 might do? Maybe 21 days, which is a CURE.
I transferred funds from my regular IRA into a Roth Ira in 2009. In April 2011 I paid taxes on half the transferred funds. In April 2012 I paid taxes on the second half. I invested all the funds in NNVC. When I sell those shares there will be no taxes due. This split year deal was a special dispensation because of the Great Recession.
Someone plunked down $300,000 at the bell, Now that's the way to paint a tape. Obviously there are some strong believers out there or those who didn't cover their shorts on Tuesday decided that there might not be another chance.
Thanks Leif, a great response to legitimate concerns. It gives additional meaning to the admonitions in Wizard of Oz - "Follow the Yellow Brick Road" but "Beware of that man behind the curtain"
Stock buybacks to support the share price are a losing proposition in my opinion. I say preserve capital for investment in research and production. The only time stock buybacks are warranted is when there is no other investment that will give a greater ROI. NNVC has many irons in the fire and needs to conserve cash to keep the irons hot.
Based on his past activities I doubt Dr. Boniuk or any of his controlled interests will sell any of the converted stock in yesterdays SEC publication.
So you think Dr. Boniuk has been duped by the nefarious Dr. Seymour into plunking down another 150,000 dollars for worthless NNVC stock. Oh the shame.
As long as you are not chauvinist or jingoistic.
How is your Italian?
He understands the science, has had numerous interviews with the scientists and is convinced that in the long term NNVC will be a gangbuster stock. Many posters on this board have followed Harris for years and believe in his prediction. Different strokes for different folks. Everything in life doesn't necessarily make sense to everybody.
For Allan Harris' personal account, NNVC is a "buy and hold."
For the traders in his newsletter, it vacillates between short and long depending on current trends.
Rather than prate about NNVC's slowness in bringing Flucide to market, one might want to ask where has Pfizer, GSK, J & J, Novartis and all the other heavyweight pharmas been hiding all these years?
Can we just have a little of the "milk of human kindness" as we give thanks for all our blessings. Let's declare a truce until Monday. How bad can that be.
Happy Thanksgiving to all on the NNVC board -- pros and cons.
Welcome back, BK.
DRINK!!!
The problem with bloggers who post such obvious 'bear-baiting bits' about Dr, Seymour and NNVC is, they don't really want to know the truth. The truth does not serve their purpose. They are like Jack Nicholson's prosecutors in "A Few Good Men." They can't handle the truth.
I like 'sizzle'.
That is taking unbridled cynicism to a new level.XL pipelines and butchered rabbis can take precedence you know.
I believe Dr. Seymour was invited to appear on Fox News tonight (Third time). I don't think Fox responds to requests for interviews. Obviously, his story was convincing enough the two previous times that he was invited back. In my opinion that constitutes more than a "dog and pony show."
With the fantastic successes in animal tests they've had I don't understand why Nanoviricides gets so little mention, along with the three or four more prominent Ebola drug candidates. It seems we're the 'Rodney Dangerfield' of the viricide development world.
Can you at least admit that in whatever fashion and in whatever instruments that Dr. Boniuk just infused more capital into the company with his own money.
However you want to couch it, Dr. Boniuk just plunked down hard cold cash to exercise those warrants. That is an investment in my book and further supports my faith in NNVC.
