Incentive is a powerful thing. Just as there is no incentive at the present time to drive hybrids and plug and play, there is huge incentive for HLNT to bring the wildcat to market. From my understanding EPA/CARB is not necessary to sell/install the wildcat. Unless you're in California. So let's get the show on the road already.EPA/Carb hasn't stopped the installation in fishing boats and a city's trucks. GLTA, Happy Turkey day, GO HLNT, Jim
I agree, however, I am expecting 3 or 4 PR's relatively close together. Sort of like a row of dominos that the first one goes and that leads to another release and that leads to another and another and another. The first fleet deal released publicly will be a huge incentive for many others who cannot afford to be left behind. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
Yes, but site is www.truckinginfo.com. Interesting that California has approved an emissions control device before CARB approval. Send it to HLNT. Good find. GO HLNT, Jim
Watching this stock price in the afternoon yesterday, I was impressed that this stock is not acting like your typical penny in spite of what a few bashers keep saying. With little info from the company since Sep., most penny stocks would be in the triple zeros by now. Instead, it has a real hard time breaking below one cent but a relatively easy time breaking higher. With little to no news. I can't even begin to imagine where this will go with 3 or 4 PR's. EPA/CARB verification. End of Humphries suit. Signing of fleet deals-plural. Let the fun begin. And happy thanksgiving to all. GO HLNT, Jim
I can't say about contempt of court, however, it would seem to me, it rises to the level of a frivolous suit. No documents, no case. No basis for a complaint. Even so, it seems like a ridiculously small amount to bring a suit for-two notes for a total of 130,000. Seems like if there was any basis for this, HLNT would've settled a long time ago. The last suit was the elephant in the room. And that's gone. Just my 2 cents opinion. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim PS I am not an attorney, as such, this is just an opinion.
From what I read of Humphries answer to the judge, he produced no documents, just reasons why he could not produce them. Hopefully the judge ends this misuse of the court system tomorrow or at least soon. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
Good thought Hot P. How about trucking companies that have tested their technology for months, seen the increase in mileage, decrease in emissions and DEF usage and then are told-you can't have it yet. I'd be looking for someone else to supply the technology even if it's not as good. Will HLNT bring this to market? Time will tell. Always does. Jim
Thanks for your reply, Sparks. One more question-any idea when the next newsletter comes out? TIA, Jim
Thanks for the update Sparks on the Humphries suit. Always appreciate your insight/opinions on things that are above my paygrade. One question, does preclusion mean that if the judge is not satisfied with the response that the suit could be dismissed with predjudice? Thanks in advance for your opinion. GLTA-flippers, short term, long term holders. I am a long term holder but you can't argue that some flippers have made money. GO HLNT, Jim
I have a longer time horizon as well. Not as long as yours. I expect to see massive rollout of this technology by next summer. However, I'm also looking day by day for good things to be revealed-either by the excellent members of this board or by the company. Expecting a newsletter around DEC. 1st. Expecting the Humphries suit to be dismissed this Wednesday or at least soon. Expecting release of EPA/CARB verification soon. Expecting compliance of 2 year financial rule to be met soon so pink limited is removed. Expecting fleet deals soon. All of the infrastructure is ready. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
Absolutely. And we don't have EPA/CARB verification yet. Seems like 1st or 2nd quarter next year is more likely for fleet deals to be done. I would be glad to be wrong and see them this quarter. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim PS-I wonder what the trucking companies are thinking that have run testing with the wildcat. The ability to save fuel, cut emissions, extend DEF fluid replacement/use. This must be extremely aggravcating for them.. It would be for me if I had seen what the wildcat could do and then be told-not yet.
I agree with your post. Please sent it to HLNT, TIA, Jim
How does witholding info about EPA/Carb verification benefit Humphries or Walter? I don't follow your thinking. However, witholding info that results in fleet deals not being signed or postponed benefits no one. Hlnt has figured out the technology and so can someone else. Bill Gates once said in an interview that the reason he was able to build Microsoft ahead of all his competition was- he jumped first. Not the smartest, just willing to get out there first. I'd much rather Hlnt get ou there and jump and get a leg up on the competition. My last two cents for the day. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
I am content too. However, it would be a blessing if HLNT could give us something. The Hoss testing was to be finished by end of September with a letter from EPA expected by end of October. Since that didn't happen, I believe, it would be prudent to expect an update from the company on the Hoss testing. Did it pass? Are we just waiting for EPA to send the official letter? The company gave timelines of goals for the Hoss testing and EPA/CARB verification for the wildcat. Maybe the upcoming newsletter will give us some info. I submitted a number of questions for the newsletter. I am long and strong but would sure like some guidance from the company. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
Thanks, Nikodemos. I wish you were in charge of HLNT's PR department. Oh well, the perfect world isn't here yet. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
Thanks. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
Are you referring to the next newletter being released or a PR of some type or both? TIA, GO HLNT, Jim
No doubt the flood is coming, however, I believe the product is being witheld from the fleet deals until the EPA/CARB verifications are released. To me, that is the key-if HLNT knows where the process is at. Has the Hoss passed the tests-are we just waiting for the EPA to release the data? Is the test finished? Did the wildcat test pass? Are we just waiting for the EPA to release data. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
How about a 10Q or a filing for a time extension. I'm all dot connected out. Would like to see something released from the company. Even a 10Q will do for today. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
October had 31 days + 14 in November. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
Thought it was due yesterday, which was the 45th day after end of quarter. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
I'm looking for the latest 10Q info. Haven't seen it yet. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
My only question is-Has Mr. Coats released the Wildcat for sale. He has publicly stated that they have kept it off the market until it is perfected. They have run trials with a number of trucking companies and were very happy with the results. So it would seem the product is ready. From my understanding, EPA/CARB is not necessary for releasing the product. However, is Mr. Coats holding back the product until EPA/CARB is released? I believe it is necessary for release of the Hoss. Hopefully, we shall know soon. Today is 45 days after end of quarter. If sales are still low, I would say we have our answer. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
10Q out tomorrow? Any expectations yet? Newsletter out soon? EPA/CARB results? Current financials for last two years? So many things boiling in the pot. GLTA GO HLNT, Jim
4 days green if anyone's counting. GO HLNT, Jim
Time will tell. I know we will get this last quarters report next week. I'm not expecting a lot there. And I know there is another newsletter coming. I signed up for info from HLNT and I was emailed-asking for questions to ask for next newsletter, which I did. I expressed in my questions thanks for all that Mr. Coats has done in the last six months especially in bringing this puppy right to the doors of the market that so desperately needs it. In sales, marketing, production, and service. I also expressed a certain level of anticipation for news. And asked quite a few questions. Response will probably be in next newsletter. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
Depends. Will HLNT release info on the first fleet deal and accompanying revenue? Will the EPA/CARB info be completed and released? Will financial info be released opening the door to uplisting to the next level? As Mr. Coats has stated, this is a good long term investment. But will it be a good short term investment until the company releases some info? I, personally, am a long term investor, so I am not so concerned about the short term. I have confidence, based on my own DD, that this will, indeed, be a good long term investment. I am expecting some info to be released before the end of the year, and end the year in the range of 5 to 10 cents. IMHO, Go HLNT, Jim
Wow, green two days in a row. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
No idea how many will bail. But it's their choice to bail or to stay. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim PS, I'm one who is down about 40% and I have chosen to stay.
You're absolutely right,IHUB. And the most interesting thing, to me, is the miniscule amount of money in this suit. This suit is SMALL. It is a pea compared to the mountain of good DD on this company. Doesn't even qualify for a bump in the road. Maybe a pea in the road. Expect this to go away quckly, IMHO. GO HLNT, Jim
Thanks for sharing. Do you have a legal background or just a lot of common sense? Anyway, seems like a pitiful small amount of money to sue for. The last case was the elephant in the room. The cost of legal fees being a consideration in settling the last case, why hasn't HLNT settled with this one to stop all of the legal fees? Seems like the legal fees would be much larger than this paltry amount. What do we win by continuing the case? TIA for your opinion. I know you don't speak for HLNT, but, in effect, how is this case different from the first one whether it has any merit or not? Let's get it out of the way and move on. JMHO, GO HLNT, Jim
Greetings to you. What is BVI? How long have you been an investor in HLNT? GLTA, Jim
All three of these people are needed for one thing-production relating from sales. Let the PR's begin!!! GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
Exactly right. Truckers don't need something that is unproven with the potential to hurt their truck. And they don't need some unproven thing that doesn't have a national network to provide any service. And the fuel costs in the rest of the world are much higher than here. I keep looking at this company like the beginning of Microsoft. Is that a pump? Well, never mind, I'm entitled to my opinion. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
Wow, this is the greatest news I've heard today. Over 15,000 a unit. That is a lot of revenue. And 25,000 units sounds conservative for a years sales. Thanks for the info. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
Thanks, Nilodemos, you always have a lot of good info. I think years end is a much more realistic timeframe for everything we're looking for in this company. I think end of October was a goal, but anybody who does work needing government approval knows it always takes longer than you'd like. My CPA sometimes takes longer than I think it would take to get my taxes done so I know sometimes it takes longer than I'd like. If it doesn't take to years end for current financials and EPA/CARB verification, well then I'll be pleasantly surprised. And nothing has changed as far as the products, the relationships with advertising, sales, manufactue and installation. In the meantime,IMO, I think this is a great time to keep accumulating. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
Opinions-everybody has them. Certainly some know more than others. Some have been to Arkansas to view production and meet with management. Some have been here much longer than others. My opinion, fwiw, is management wants all the ducks lined up. Maybe some potential customers want some ducks too. Like current financials and EPA/CARB verification. Will there be fleet deals before the ducks are lined up? Who knows? There are so many backyard operations going on for $100 units on EBAY, if I was a potential customer, I would want EPA/CARB verification. Anybody can make a nice looking 3 color brochure. Not anybody can pass EPA/CARB standards. GLTA, GO HLNT, Jim
Thanks rainmaker. You confirm what I have felt for sometime that HLNT is waiting for Carb/EPA verification before going mass market. Do you have any idea if the time frame for that will be before the end of this month? Thanks in advance, GLTA, Jim
Pure speculation-I don't have insider info. My best dot connecting guess is they were asked to be quiet and let HLNT PR the info. It is rather noticeable of certain posters absence. GO HLNT, GLTA, Jim
The key word to me is accountability. If a poster says this company is going to be a certain price by Oct. 31st, then we should not give them excuses. As my drill instructor said, "There's two kinds of people in the world. Those with excuses and those that get the job done." He then looked at our company and said, And you are the people that get the job done!" To which we replied, "Sir, Yes Sir!" That was over 40 years ago and it sticks with me to this day. A person is either whining, wanting sympathy or getting the job done. My grandfather emigrated from Germany at the age of 12-alone with nothing more than the clothes on his back. He worked in a foundry for years and later became a machinist. My father started in a factory and founded an electrical contracting firm that continues to the third generation. I see the same kind of attitude in the leadership of this company. Let's stand with them and see these products go around the world. GO HLNT, Jim
