OK, fair enough.
The rub is we will get a dividend within a few weeks and YOU will too! ...despite your doubts. Tell me, wouldn't that surprise you to no end?
"Envisage" is not my argot so feel free to adopt it, "friend".
Oh, and your arguments are casuistic.
Maybe it has something to do with an impending short squeeze. Some people just can't envisage such an epic moment as when the dividend is finally paid out despite everything that has preceded it both bad and finally good. Things evolve and many people just refuse to accept this. The people who see change and react to it are the ones who prosper. Certain people thought the economy was irretrievably coming undone in 2008 and stocks would never recover. They sold everything and sat on the sidelines as the market sprang back. Others saw opportunity and purchased as much as they could afford knowing there was value despite the low prices. One group laments and the other thrives.
bobbybdb: GREAT post!!!
Not by the Company...then who is left? Tic Toc
The Company will comply will all SEC requirements by issuing the appropriate 8Ks amd any other obligitory forms. Probably what will happen is there will be no PRs until a deal is signed; the 8k will then be issued, a PR AFTER signing, and an email in case any shareholder hasn't seen the PR. The people who said this wouldn't happen will realize they let this opportunity slip through their hands and eat crow. I can offer a good recipe: tarrigon and thyme reduced port sauce. Tic Toc
Hi Tex, since you feel the div will probably be in the neighborhood of $0.007+, why do you think the company completely low balled the pricing estimate?
The balance sheet you were looking at does not include the loans received by the company for operating capital. The fact that the loans become immediately due does not mean Sloane will enforce that. New terms were negotiated last week per the company. Sloane will not dilute their existing holdings by requesting more shares so things are kept at abeyance until the sale. Tic Toc
"if it sounds too good to be true it means you didn't do enough due dilligence to see WHY it is true. There is gold there and FFGO is selling their claims to release the value, period. The evidence is overwhelming. Tic Toc, Tic Toc.
A friend postulated it might be more than one company sharing the buyout rather than an individual company. Until now everyone was focused on a single company as the buyer. Multiple companies creating a partnership would make sense for such a large purchase and because of the requisite capital needed to bring it to fruition. Oil and gas companies operate this way all the time by taking shares in wells.
Well, today was a very sucessful day in that nothing was said to refute that the deal is still on! Therefore the audit must have been quite good. SWEET!!!
A lot of postings have attempted to portray today as the be-all-end-all. It is NOT and they realize this. Even if the audit was completed by today the purchasing company or companies need time to review the findings. Maybe they already have, maybe not. We do not know. When FFGO said they were informed it would take up to 2 weeks, they were relaying info they received. FFGO is not responsible for the audit. Things will progress at the requisite pace not any faster despite pseudo deadlines created by posters.
Worth the wait and we get entertained along the way. $0.014 would be a fortune.
No bad news means there must be good new about to be released!
What was your prediction, $0.007 or so? Sweet! Maybe more? ...Probably more.
Chew on the ads in the paper for jumbo CDs (>$100,000). You probably will be in the market for these over the next few weeks.

Superb, insightful, and accurate post! You are spot on.

Sensing Cash Appearing Momentarily
How so?
I wonder what the manitude of the short interest is and the ramification this will have on the ultimate price. I am expecting the price to go well above the dividend. I think the insiders are planning for this eventuality too.
I don't understand why they didn't cover at $0.0001 to take a smaller loss rather than a catastrophic one and stop digging the hole deeper. Regardless of what the "concerned" individuals say, FFGO will pay, and pay well. Tic Toc
Shorts are so confused. :)
No, not at all. They know they have major problems coming all too soon!
It is going to be thrilling to see this spring finally released in a violent upward surge once the deal is announced. I would hate to be short at that time.
See post 139008.
I feel the audit will be done by tomorrow, not necessarily the signing.
Ahead of the impending signing, I am greatful to FFGO management and legal and business advisors who worked so diligently and with such perseverance to get FFGO's gold assets sold, thus unlocking the true value for all shareholders. I also commend Sloane for showing true commitment in backing FFGO. Note for those "concerned": Respect my sentiments, I know these are not yours. If you cannot respect my sentiments it will show your true colors.
Your finally right! The train did stopped as Sloane bought up the debt and just under a quarter of the company. Don't bother repeating they issued notes, I will note it myself here and save you the bother. I don't care if Sloane has a private car, I will still enjoy 1st class. Chugga Choo, Chugga Choo....
10K's are NOT the same as annual reports. It has much of the same info but they are not the same. You are incorrect.
FFGO will submit any and all necessary documents to the SEC.
Just because they said they will issue emails to shareholders doesn't preclude also issuing press releases AFTER the deal is signed. They aren't going to release any PRs BEFORE the deal is consumated.
I see... I didn't realize the deal was even "more done" this time.
But now you know, soothing isn't it? Have a good night.
Who cares, I don't. Really. I am only interested in what is happening now. This is the closest the company has ever come to closing the deal. You know it on some level but can't believe it. Well it is true. Time to ease up on the naysaying and see what happens, you will actually feel better.
FUNNY!!! Don't try using logic with them, just enjoy the extraordinary dividend, I KNOW I WILL.
REJOICE: THINGS ARE GETTING BETTER EVERY DAY!!!!
Apparantly you skiped over my last message. Read it.
Maybe yes, maybe no...you know that!
I get my annual reports which doesn't go out to the world.
Hi Texan, many thanks for your response, I appreciate it.
Good morning Texan. How did you derive your estimates? (Or refer me to the previous post where you developed these numbers.) Thank you. I hope today is the day! Wishing everyone the very best of luck.
