Some people just can't envisage such an epic moment as when the dividend is finally paid out despite everything that has preceded it both bad and finally good. Things evolve and many people just refuse to accept this. The people who see change and react to it are the ones who prosper. Certain people thought the economy was irretrievably coming undone in 2008 and stocks would never recover. They sold everything and sat on the sidelines as the market sprang back. Others saw opportunity and purchased as much as they could afford knowing there was value despite the low prices. One group laments and the other thrives.
