For those who want to accumulate:
Never underestimate the level of people's stupidity... Put in a limit order for a couple of pennies below the ask for tomorrow morning. You might get lucky with some more cheap shares. That's what I plan to do!
Solloans,
A lot of the recent buyers never did DD on this stock. They just bought it because it was going up. Now they're selling it because it's going down. It's that simple. Their ignorance is our gain. They have no idea of the potential of this stock in the next few weeks. We need to keep a lid on it and let them sell so we can accumulate more share.
two-bit
Exactly. That's why us AAGH veterans are buying more...
I agree Lucky. I couldn't help but buy a bunch more at .17. I've seen this kind of behavior before with AAGH. These prices are a bargain. Especially when we get ad revenue figures by the end of the month and this thing shoots back up. Easy money for a few weeks hold.
Volume is key. We have a bunch of eyes on this stock now. Once we know the ad revenue figures, we'll see the next leg up IMO.
I agree. There should definitely be some Chinese buyers of AAGH stock after that press release.
I totally agree. Volume is still impressive as well!
Looks like profit taking for the weekend. It happened last Friday as well. We sure have an impressive base at .245 - .25 though. I project we'll probably move back up some in the afternoon in preparation for a possible PR on Monday. That seems to be when the PRs come and we're due by my estimation. Only 3 weeks to the show's broadcast! GLTA
Too true, the afternoon could be explosive.
We just hit .26! Very nice...
You are a gentleman and a scholar EZ...
OH YEAH! If this close doesn't get some attention, I don't know what will!
Get on this train before the close because we're leaving the .20 station!
Too funny Coop!
IMO, we should get an idea of the ad revenue shortly. Since the show is schedule to broadcast on Sept. 29th with prime time 90 minute shows each Saturday for 104 episodes, we just need to know what they charge for each spot. They will have to release info on their ad rates before the broadcast date in order to line up advertisers. Once we get those numbers, we can make a fairly accurate estimate of the projected income from the show. Also, remember, this company is already operating in the black, so ad revenue from WWTBAM will just be icing on the cake!
There's nothing stopping this thing once it chews through .20, IMHO!
Hey Lucky, there's your afternoon volume for you!
IT'S OFFICIAL ... WE MADE IT TO .20!
A bunch of people are missing this train.
HERE COMES .20!
Interesting... volume is now picking up along with the share price. I can't wait to see the effect of the next PR!
Nope, I'm out the OT and all-in on AAGH.
WWTBAM news made it to CNNMoney.com!
Check it out:
http://money.cnn.com/news/newsfeeds/articles/prnewswire/AQTU10204092007-1.htm
All this exposure is great! It looks like we're going up again tomorrow folks!
I saw that "after the close" trade at .167 as well. Pretty sneaky. That means we really had a close of 21% above Friday's close. However, that kind of behavior is almost expected when the stock is consistently getting a couple penny jump at the open.
If those early AM trades are indeed PRC trades, we'll probably see more of that in the coming weeks if they are now advertising the show on TV over there. I'd like to see one of those chinese tv ads.
Agreed, but we're seeing steady volume all day long today. Last week, we only saw heavy volume in the AM.
Reality should be setting in for these buyers. These teen prices are going to be gone in the blink of an eye. IMO
We now know how long each show will be (90 minutes x 104 shows). Once we get the ad rates (which will be out any day now since the broadcast is scheduled for the end of the month), we'll be able to accurately estimate the potential share price for this stock going forward.
I don't see why we can't hit .20 and beyond soon. What I do know is that we are still way undervalued at this point! IMHO
We're going to the moon Lucky!
That's exactly right investor911, AAGH is just getting started!
The current revenue for their existing business is solid and even supports our current share price without WWTBAM in my opinion. Add on the ad revenue from WWTBAM in the coming weeks and this will have a huge impact on AAGH's share price.
The reason this stock was so undervalued this past year was due to the fact that we hardly ever received any information or updates on the progress of WWTBAM or the company. Many were skeptical and didn't have a lot of faith in the company due to a lack of communication; that created a lot of volatility. As a result, when the occasional news update would come, the stock would shoot up and then drop off with profit taking. That's probably why we are seeing a current floor at .14-.15 with heavy volume on Friday. People are taking their double (or triple for the longs) and walking. They want to enjoy their three day weekend and spend their profits!
However, the recent WWTBAM news is not a speculative progress report... it is confirmation that AAGH has a green light for the WWTBAM show! That's huge! So, for those who are patient in the coming weeks, this stock will start its next leg up from here on Tuesday after the three day weekend. IMO
Here's why:
Logically, there is still a lot of positive news in the pipeline we can expect to hear in the coming weeks.
First, they started production this weekend, so we will probably get news on what celebrities will be in the first shows, etc.
Second, the future profit growth for the company will come from WWTBAM ad revenue. So, although we may not get a projection for ad revenue from the company right away, we will probably be able to project it on our own once we find out what those ads will cost. That info should be pretty easy to find out since any advertiser interested in the show can get that info from the company any day now.
Third, the steady climb of the stock price as well as the magnitude of trade volume (as opposed to its sharp spikes and subsequent falls in the past), indicate there is a bunch of eyes on this stock and many players involved (some possibly in China as suggested by a few on this board). Couple this new class of investors with the upcoming ad revenue, and we can easily see this stock is just getting started from here. IMO.
Also, on speculation, I don't want to leave out the possibility this company may get the chance to produce other shows or profit from the Olympics in China in the near future. It makes sense to me, especially since AAGH is well positioned to do so and has shown they can make things happen in China!
So, we'll see, but I'm holding onto my shares for a while. Another reason I'm holding on here is that since the short term income growth of the company is virtually guaranteed now that the show is going to happen, we won't see this stock price fall back down much from here. There is not a lot of risk in holding on at these prices in my opinion.
GLTA, and this is of course, my two-bit opinion on the subject.
two-bit sage
Hep,
I find it ironic that we waited almost a year for this big news and we can't get this thing to rocket because everyone is sitting on the sidelines hoping to get cheap shares related to that S-8. Too funny!
It's like the after Thanksgiving sale at Wal-Mart where you have two thousand people lined up to buy twenty toasters for $5! At least 1,980 are going to be disappointed!
This stock is on everyone's radar now and that S-8 isn't going to hurt us at all. Demand is too high for the shares now and even if these shares do get dumped all at once, they'll get snapped up immediately. I'm sure everyone has their limit orders in place.
I'd say most of those consultants receiving shares will probably hold on to them for awhile knowing that the revenue will bring in a higher price in the short-term.
But just like you said in your post, this S-8 is only about 30% of the current O/S, so it won't have much of an impact on share price. Especially since everyone knows the show is a go and any upcoming revenue PR will justify big numbers for this stock IMO.
I'm enjoying this alot! I'm glad I bought back in when I did. GLTA!
Does that include the day notice was given? In other words, what's the earliest we can get hit with the S-8 in your opinion? Friday or Monday?
Hep mentioned in a past post that he expected this S-8 and thought it was a good sign that WWTBAM was finalizing things (i.e., they've got to pay the bills one way or another). I agree. So far, there is not much evidence of a big share dump. The S-8 is only going to hurt us in the short-term if Mak dumps them all at once. Mak took six months to issue all the shares in the last S-8. What makes you think he's going to do it any different this time? If you were Mak, wouldn't you wait for the SP to rise anyway before issuing shares to cover expenses? That way, you can issue less shares to cover the same amount of expenses.
Regarding the S-8: In an ideal world, it would be nice to know the timetable for the release of those S-8 shares. If the entire S-8 is dumped all at once, it will of course cut the legs off any run-up in share price with a good PR. However, I think the last S-8 was used up over about 6 months so I don't think we'll see all those shares on the market immediately. But who knows with this company.
Hey Lucky,
I'm back from a business trip and I guess I missed out on all the chaos. Fortunately, I left with a limit order in place and got quite a few shares. I'm a little bummed because I probably could have gotten a better price if I was around, but I'm not worried about it at this point. It looks like the share price is back up and we're set to rocket in the coming weeks, IMO. I agree with Hep that this S-8 is a good sign of things to come. GLTA!

Thanks for the support Hep!
If you read my past posts, I've always given the basis for my views including the last post you criticized (i.e., I got back in because revenue was a surprise and AAGH did not change their 3rd quarter estimate for the release of the show). I've also disclosed when I held shares and not held shares. I've hardly been a basher. In fact, I have always stated AAGH is a good long-term play. I was just playing the short-term ups and downs (which I also disclosed). Anyway, I hope that explains things. I hope there is no hard feelings on the board.

This AAGH bear is off the sidelines!
Wow, that was quite a revenue pop in the quarterly (excluding the WWTBAM deal)! It appears this company is in great shape and well positioned now. The positive news in the quarterly was enough for me to jump back in at these prices. I bought big on Friday and was shocked I had zero competition. It looks like the problems in the greater market this week were a distraction for other AAGH investors. They weren't keeping an eye on the ball so to speak and it was a huge buying opportunity for me. They'll regret it in the coming weeks as this news gets out. It appears the risks related to this stock have now evaporated. It's all upside from here IMHO!
Also, my fear that the broadcast of the show would be pushed into the 4th quarter due to delays does not appear to be the case. This quarterly still lists the scheduled broadcast for the 3rd quarter. That means we should get that Granddaddy of all PRs (news about WWTBAM) sometime in the next month, IMO.
Here's to good times ahead for us all in the coming weeks!
Lucky,
I agree with you on the direction of AAGH SP. Also, thanks again for the tip on the OT!
Hep,
FYI, I didn't purchase any of those 44k at .071 today.
