Moving the Shrimp to Fiji, if the plan works.

Bull trap formation. Ugly.
Yeah, the bots that trade while the Asian markets are open. Electronic futures.
I imagine most people with money can get an account to trade it if they try.
S&P futures fell to 2082.25 last night. They always let the foreigners get the best prices, huh? LOL.
(often tests the lows and highs made in the middle of the night)
Maybe a whipsaw day.
Thanks for the update. I was trying to figure out the segue. Got it.
LOL. Yes, the perfect reasons. Load up on stock, then don't let the market fall. Let the market fall, then load up on stock.
The NDA prevents me from addressing the acidification directly. Know this: The CO2 in the water creates Carbonic Acid. Get rid of the CO2 and there is zero acidification.
I'm almost out of posts. I believe I have addressed all of the valid points. You won't need to rebuild the fish ponds every 20 years. Oceanic Fertilization is cheaper, but involves the bloom hazard. If we don't get the ponds built, I'll do the work after the 5 foot ocean rise.
If I get authorization and money to "fix" the oceans, I'll fix the oceans.
*The annual degradation of a solar panel is recorded by scientists.
Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he learns to deal with heartbreak. Teach a man how to farm fish, and you feed his family for generations.
The useful life of a solar panel is 20 years, so you will have to build them all again in 20 years.
It's a delicate balance of economics, not just profits. Energy poverty is real in undeveloped nations. You want them to curtail use so they starve and/or freeze; or are you more interested in unilateral curtailment so America is defeated by global competitors?
I guess I wasn't clear. The algae in the southern ocean is growing faster, and therefore absorbing more CO2. It's not an acidification issue.
Amazement today at the Paris summit. Ocean Plankton actually grows faster when there is more algae to eat!
The Haida Gwai Salmon Restoration project got a few million from investors. The liberals decided to welsh on the carbon credits, and they never got paid. It's very clear that carbon credits are a scam to collect taxes, not disburse them.
My estimates indicate that BC will have great Salmon Harvests for up to 5 years because of that project.
The principle of bio-accretion is well studied. Apparently the generation that walks upright and dumps crap in the ocean doesn't want to put any good stuff in. The more good stuff you put in the water, increases the biomass of good stuff coming out. The haz mats are diluted and there is less mercury by percentage in the Salmon.
As I said, putting good stuff in the water is called illegal dumping by International Maritime Law. I would break the law in a heartbeat to do it right, but there is no profit motive in it, so why would I?
Growing algae in seawater is incredibly easy. Growing it in the water without killing all of the fish is much harder. Growing it with seawater on land based farms is not simple, but it is practical.
If the ocean level rises 5 feet, I won't need to expend any energy on pumping to complete the project.
Sorry if that doesn't sound like a serious solution. It is time to get serious.
While the science is encouraging, we recognize that bio-accretion not only absorbs the carbon, but many other nutrients, and even haz-mat along the way. Salmon is a great place to get mercury, if you want mercury in your Salmon.
The reason government is required, adding the necessary nutrients to the ocean is legally determined to be dumping by international maritime law. They need to change that if they are serious about Global Warming, or they need to pump the seawater to our land based operations.
The Bamboo growers association says the entire carbon output of The United States could be absorbed by a bamboo forest the size of Texas. Unfortunately, you would need to de-salinate about 3 Mississippi rivers full of water to accomplish that.
Animal life is the transformation of carbon from solid or a liquid to a gas. Plant life converts the gas back to a solid or liquid, using sunlight.
The science apparently shows that more carbon in the atmosphere means that plants don't have to work as hard to get it, and they grow faster.
Grain crop yields are at or near record levels for the past years harvest.
Science also suggests that the Southern Oceans have increased their carbon intake.
The date I see indicates that the oceans and forests are absorbing more carbon everyday. It's scientifically proven that plants grow faster, with less (other) nutrients, and less water, when there is more carbon in the atmosphere. Carbon is basically a plant macro-nutrient. The most abundant in nature.
The momentum seems a bit overstated from the data I've looked at, but I certainly would appreciate help from any and all sources.
Planting trees is a great idea, where enough water is available.
A religious person might say that God used the ocean to create the reduced levels of CO2 we currently enjoy. If you work for the restoration of the Oceans to those days, you work for God.
My Happy Hour ticket expires in about 30 min, but I'll be back tomorrow if anyone is interested.
As my friend mike says: We can fix it. It will only require us and our 300 million closest friends to work on it together.
Shrimp farms have diurnal pH fluctuation. Our technology fixes that. We could do it in the ocean, too; but it requires government acceptance and funding. It's not a small job, and there is not profit motive.
Method is protected by an NDA or I could say more.
Oops! I just ran out of posts.
I'll say more at happy hour, or tommorrow, etc.
I'm meeting with investors this weekend. It is the cure to Global Warming fears, even if Global Warming doesn't really exist.
I grow algae with seawater, and the shrimp eat it. The combination forms calcium carbonate, which is long term carbon sequestration. The carbon can be stored for hundreds of years in that form.
The omega 3 is a high value nutraceutical which also stores a lot of carbon, be it more temporary.
Al Gore thinks you should plant a tree, but hasn't figured out where he'll get the freshwater. I use seawater, and 74% of the earth is covered by it.
I have to feed and breed my shrimp.
I'm just trading a bit to keep from death by boredom while I wait.
Good idea. I'm looking at the classic double top, head and shoulders. A lower top than the record high, and a crash to 165ish based on the violation of the weekly trend, and retrace to the line violated.
Looks like we got level II back. No big changes in price during the blackout.
There's going to big money in it when it falls day after day after day. It will gap down overnight and over weekends.
Not saying it will happen soon, or go lower than it is. I'm just saying it will happen someday.
Holding short over the weekend doesn't bother me, ie. SPXU. Options and Futures? Too much premium shrinkage and too fast.
I put a trailing stop on my VXX, and it kicked. Reload seems unlikely for me. Almost half of my position. Not loading again until Monday unless the other half also kicks out at around $19.50
Sorry to hear about the stop. VXX disconnect makes me think hard fall coming soon, unless VXX craps.
Godwin's Law says the discussion of it won't end until someone ties it to Hitler and the Nazis.
VXX is going parabolic and is testing Wednesday's high. It's already above the spike from Wednesday afternoon.
If you analyze it, and find they are correct, then you are probably missing a few brain cells.
Clearly, crop failures and inadequate resources could make people feel poor, and lack of moral character combined with that could turn them to terrorism.
So the real causes are not addressed. You found an easy scapegoat because you failed to address the real problems associated with the warming you allege has occurred.
And then you have major world leaders saying "Global Warming created ISIS" So, the kids are not only getting lazy, they are obviously becoming stupid.
Those days are gone. Most of the world thinks they deserve our standard of living, but has never established the drive and logistics to deserve it. Our children are becoming lazy and want to have everything without the drive. Allowing the infrastructure to decay doesn't improve our superior logistics either.
Does giving away the bank for free improve ambition? Socialism is evil.
I like to think that mining is a cheaper proposition because of low energy prices, and that Gold can only go lower while more is being mined.
Not exactly a Black Swan, but I am giving odds that a bunch of petulant children are going to attempt to destroy your Black Friday shopping experience.
