You have me beat by a four years. Must be some sweet validation hangin tough all these years to see them finally on the brink of success. It's almost a shame that those here from the Armini era don't make more on their shares, and equally the newbs who whine make less. Hope you have a pantleg full, you deserve to be rewarded for having the vision to stay focused for so long.
Shows how much I've been paying attention, good to know it's 75m less than I thought. At 50+ M currentely outstanding, that's going to get sucked up fairly quickly when the dots get connected on a mainstream level. We could very well get a significant ascent in SP as that's a relatively small float and shares will be hard to come by. They won't increase it if they don't have to- they want as high an SP as possible to address the NAZ requirements. We here are so so early to the dance it's scary.
It's been awhile, but back in one of the last few 10Q's I seem to recall the # of fully dilluted was 200M or there abouts. If ST means by the end of the year, I think you will be fine. I have by most standards enough shares to get my total investment back on the first substantial ascent and have plenty of house shares- but luckily don't need the $$ in the near term(end of the year) It's been a very slow pot to boil, through no fault if Implant's IMO but really think there could be some very dramatic changes here soon.
I don't focus on the debt, it is what it is and if they execute on the plan it will be gone in time. Certainly it has to be a concern, toxic financing and float size will limit upside initially, but If they become a major player, which looks more likely with every PR,even at now 54M w/ max 200M float that's not killer as there will be many new shareholders coming in LT once the cat's out of the bag. JMHO
The future ETD portal, from last July..
They can't buy from anyone else, only one approved horse in this race. The competiton already knows it's over in the ETD sector- patents have a way of dictating that.
When considering TSA employees, the "KISS" method is indeed a no brainer.
A few more of these, association with household brand name clients, continued partnership with TSA,and aforementioned msnbc level coverage will be the catalyst for "discovery". I can easily see them being recognized as a " best stock under five bucks" candidate in short time once the whales do their DD and connect the obvious dots. In addition to sales, it's got that feel good element of local boy knocks the foreign powerhouses on their respective cans. For my money at this point it's not out of the realm of possibility you could see our CEO gracing the cover of a couple trade mags in the future,it won't be trading at these levels then. Classic Wall St darling in the making. I think of all the PR's since 09 this one might possibly be the watershed one- an indication of the "valve being turned on"
Kudos to Glenn and supporting cast, stay the course and build the dynasty!
Something else to factor in to the bottom line-maintenance
http://www.morpho.com/actualites-et-evenements/presse/morpho-detection-receives-tsa-explosives-detection-system-service-contract?lang=en
"Under the contract, Morpho Detection will deliver significant cost improvements on legacy EDS systems while increasing operational performance and reliability. It was awarded for a base year and three option years. Minimum value is $71 million with a not-to-exceed amount of $466 million."
Fairly certain along with not exchanging Christmas cards this year, after this lawsuit and lack of compliance with new edict hard to imagine TSA extending their contract for another year.
A rider approaches,it's the new Sheriff riding in to town..
I'm certain whomever they had visit their current facilities had a common question " when we green light this can you fill the orders yesterday?" Whether it was in preparation for anticipated growth, to allay concerns from possible future clients, satisfy the needs of current one's, establish larger R&D facilities which might involve in house TSA/TSL collaboration,it's all good no matter how you slice it. Biz 101-expansion equates to demand, and as of right now and in the foreseeable future they are the only game in approved ETD town.
While that is certainly true, 2014 is seven months away and it's going to be a bumpy ride up until then. To me, SP ascent would be a result of some major contracts, 2-3 Q's of consistent green, subsequent Naz listing, and a liberal sprinkling of mainstream coverage. That will equate to 2014 being the true coming out year for them. That doesn't mean they won't have a great summer/fall with PPS much higher than current levels, but a year from now it could indeed be significantly higher than even those levels. Based on what we know now, they will get nice % of market share for private placement, but have a legit shot at being the tech/company that the TSA chooses as primary vendor for all public entities, which could be VERY dramatic. They have an exceptional working relationship with TSL/TSA, because they have the solution. When you see OSIS going through what they are now,it's what the former employees now on board here knew a year ago. There's no other currently approved tech for ETD,the competition wasn't nappin, they just couldn't compete with the patents that's why they fell out of compliance.
A 54M float, with limited debt, favorable financing, and a patent portfolio for the next ten years of tech?. IMO these guys are going for the gold because they have the gold standard, and won't be taken over any time soon. The changing of the guard is happening at 1.02, got shares?
We have been in this range for three years! Today was just NITE working for their beer money. From my perspective, .75 - 1.50 is a range.. you can't will this up they need to make significant sales to get the SP to higher valuations. Judging from some of these posts you would think all people want is it to hit 1.85 for a new high- for pete's sake with a 54M float this thing could be double digits in one week's time at this point on the right catalyst(s). Oh and best believe the folks coming in have LT mindsets. If you don't truly believe that, you really don't know what you own. This is a once or twice in an investing lifetime to get in the basement on an emerging paradigm shift in technology with a company that has the patents, product(s) and proven ability to get them through gub mint vetting.
Pulp, I agree. It's been the boy who cried wolf so many times before with these little upward ticks on no news it has long since gotten me excited. Sure, nice to see any upward movement, but the "somebody knows" crowd are generally the 10% flipper crowd. There might have been a large buy that got the days run started, but it is an OTC and heavily manipulated. Bake and chase then shake em the next day. Tough way to make a buck but a style none the less. Seen quite a few of these in the last 3 1/2 years, including 10M share days. IMO there will be quite a few of those this summer/fall.
Here's my hunch on the new facility. Along with desktop and handheld manufacturing,a portion of the area will be dedicated to development of the new portal which interfaces another cutting edge technology.
Come on B, you know it's just more of the grand illusion from these con men extrordinaire;) Seriously though excluding say 15k for corporate office space that's approx an acre's worth of industrial area for manufacturing..a little overkill for onesy twosey's eh?
We are all speculators here brother. Sometimes ya just have to drink the kool aid as opposed to paralysis by analysis-it'll get there, remember why you bought in the first place.
Do you honestly think Glenn hooked a guy like Darrell Jones, the guy formerly in charge of all gub mint procurement for the biggest gorilla in the sector, on blue sky?. What do you think his commission was for that contract alone? How many years was he there, ten+? These weren't jobs, but careers these people left, and as much as some here say "they can get a job anywhere" well they came here didn't they. Ya know, whenver I see something I don't like in a stock I sell- plain and simple. Never saw the logic in grousing on MB for one that i believe in, which, i'm assuming most here do. It's not down to our timeline, but theirs clients. There are options here, most of us are up, substantially, don't be afraid to take profits!. Or see the big pic, because really it is down to that. Sooo many of you guys are gonna be long gone at $2 it's scary. Can't see the forest through the trees. Best of luck to those who see that big pic, and know what they own!
“The IONSCAN 500DT, developed and manufactured in Canada"
Nuff said
I can guarantee you the folks that left their cush postions at the competiton took massive salary cuts to join Implant, to me that speaks volumes. Why would they do that?. Sure, mgmt could buy on the open mkt, but this isn't an established big board stock with millions in revs, these guys earn peanuts compared to Sr mgmt at the others. Hopefully that is about to change, and why we are all here. I think short of a few timelines that were communicated to shareholders and pushed back through no fault of Mgmt, they have done an amazing job in the last three years getting in to a postion to capture a lion's share of the ETD/EWD market. TIme will tell but i'm more excited now that when it was at .95 years ago and they had far less accomplished- and it's still in it's infancy which should illuminate how early to the dance we all here are.
No hard to figure out. There is no other approved competiton in the ETD sector, that's why Glenn can make the statement" we are the industry standard" Hold,fold,grouse,cheer,whatever..my money is where my hunch is. This is a paradigm shift in technology, which usually has it's hiccups. There is absolutely nothing in my mind after listening to that CC that makes me think they are anything less that completely transparent, and will likely have a good chunk of this market, probably most of it, and it's their first enrty into the sector. Reminds me of an old MLM adage, but applies. If you had to shovel manure every day for a year, and at the end of that year never have to work again, would you? Could you? Intestinal fortitude will reward here, definitely no place for second guessing.
ETD 200M Market
EWC 2B Market
Patent #13
Staggering confidence, great job Glenn!
ETD is the gateway, and a 200M market, EWC is a 2B Market.
Patent #13
I will opine he is both performing and executing at growing the company in to a potential major player in this market. If you look solely at the lack of revs you can see why it's at a buck. If you can envison the need for this patented tech, as the TSA has, it's worth waiting to see how it will play out.
Similar scenario, but it was in Dec 09. Long strange trip It most certainly has,and continues to be. Can't think of any other company i'd rather be invested in. Sure they burn cash, and have no appreciable sales, but the upside is certainly scary.
Patience will reward here, buy low sell high it's a simple as that.
Orders of significance, more TSA approved tech, new investors, more patents, mainstream media coverage,Naz listing, insider buying, and DMRJ taking a breather. All that and a side of fries, first one happens the rest will follow.
"at the end of the year, additional explosive trace detection machines will also become obsolete: Morpho Detection’s Itemiser 2 and Smiths Detection’s Ionscan 400B and Ionscan 500DT.
These machines have been the workhorses of cargo security for years, and the absence of successful terrorist plots shows just how effective they have been"
To become obsolete would infer they actually worked at one point..please direct me to a link of one instance where either of these two "workhorses" were responsible for detecting PETN on air cargo.

Not sure if you saw that link I posted yesterday- it's long but well worth the time if you are in this stock. I doubt there was anyone that would have said it would be at a buck post TSA approval, myself included. I think the SP is perfect storm of delayed orders, and DM slowly selling.
Let's face it this story dies in 2009 unless they step in. IMO they have been pretty good sports by not cratering it,which they easily could do, which speaks volumes. They have plenty of shares, and won't kill the goose by converting more than they need to lock in profit. If they take their foot off the gas,it will move up. If we get orders, it will move up more. Either way it's probably going to move up, just a matter of when and how much based on orders. I can bounce with that.
It's easy to move the goal posts if you trust them, which having met the principals I do. I did my buying a while back, so not sweating a paper loss like some, but I have been there and that's where you need to put on your big boy pants, that or just do the research like most of us did for months when it was trading at .35. I think they will be the chalk for the majority of ETD apps in the future.
Read that link, it's enlightening!
I for one would not,at 1.30, or $3. That would be analagous to reading half a book,or leaving a movie ten minutes before the end. This story has yet to unfold, as much as some demand results on their timeline it just doesn't work that way. Penny for your thought text fields ranting performance, or lack therof, will not have any impact on where this company is headed.
As far as valuation, I would much rather have 80 shares of IMSC than 1 of OSIS or L3. For me it's about where they will be in a year, not next week. Best of luck to all and JMHO
This should be required reading for anyone long, or looking to take a postion in IMSC.
http://www.nap.edu/openbook.php?record_id=10996&page=1
It painfully illustrates how long the process can take. The entire piece is very enlighting, pages 29-31 are more of what we know. Note the timelines for phasing MS in to layered tech, the article is almost ten years old .
"Recommendation 3: If TSA wishes to improve its trace detection capabilities, it should deploy MS-based detectors in a phased fashion, with successive generations of instruments addressing lower quantities of an expanded list of threat materials and more sophisticated security tasks. These tasks range from passenger screening at checkpoints to monitoring of the air handling system."
Actually the TSA has said that by approving their product, and noone else's to date. Then factor in the companys ability to attract top talent. Perhaps something good awaits those with patience?
Kudlow link,he sounds hoarse but nails it.

To keep it from going lower until mid feb. It's a great trading stock for some, including a few on this board. Not my style but have at it, everybodys got to eat. Problem is every time there is a CC people conclude there will be surprises, buy, and of course there is not and they sell which makes it a swing traders wet dream. Rinse, lather, repeat.
B9,with all due respect what do you want Glenn to do?. He could have waited till the middle of this month to release earnings, and it would do the same thing it's doing today. Contracts are the only driver at this point, then it's down to revs. Would you rather have 100M in orders, and no cert, or a cert?. Point is you can't have the one without ther other. It's still going to take time- I thought the board sounded extremely confident on the CC and am very patient with this investement. UNDER PROMISE OVER DELIVER, that's Glenn's defining characteristic and I applaud that. This is the best play in the market bar none, at a buck? Are you kidding me? One or two key elements need to happen and we are a go- that's coming soon brother stay frosty.
Now the PR machine begins. It's easy to promote a $1 stock that just had a 500%+ up Q, and when the whales have a look see it will be painfully obvious what the potential scope will be. We are still sub floor on radar, and I can hear Uri clearing his throat..
Hopefully people will just be happy with finally being on the QPL, and the best Q in company history. I think Glenn is just pre releasing the results to bolster the SP short term, till orders start coming in. It's going to be a bumpy ride- contracts will take care of the turbulence. Under promise and over deliver works for me.
End of one era, dawn of a new one.
Park, here's my .02 FWIW. Manipulation? who knows. DMRJ selling? maybe, but without them it never gets to this point. Oliver Stone fans don't own OTC's, It takes a steel sack to have been in this a few years, not so much at this point. Not too many would have guessed it would be at 1.30 two weeks after getting a saftey seal, myself included. Personally I think they are still in a quiet period-TSA tossed them a bone with releasing the approval. Don't you agree they have been shockingly absent of any PR's?. No Uri on sqwak box,Glenn hitting the CNN biz hour etc. The silence is deafening,Glenn is walking softly and carrying a big stick in the form of patented best of breed tech. It's easy to get frustrated when you look at the SP, because we have in our minds made the connection that the long sought cert equated to winfall dollars. That hasn't happened, yet, but IMO 2-3 good orders will be the B12 shot that sparks this to new highs.
Good luck to us all, but it's less about luck now than it ever has been.
