Here's my hunch on the new facility. Along with desktop and handheld manufacturing,a portion of the area will be dedicated to development of the new portal which interfaces another cutting edge technology.

The bees will swirl inside the portal,and upon command, will be released to lick the passenger in a categorical contact method while listening to Frank Marino-

Upon positive hits,canines will be instructed to clamp the suspect in the groin area until TSA agents take them in to custody. It's all coming together!

Of course they can forego that level of complexity,and just continue to develop their current tech which doesn't have any competition
