Now THAT's interesting! I put in several orders today, and they were filled within seconds through Fidelity online, just like my orders would be for any other stock. And it says they were routed through Knight Equity Markets LP. Until today my understanding was that with Gray Market stocks, no Market Makers are involved in trades, and brokers make trades only when they find a buy and a sell order that match exactly. Well, one of my orders was for 5,999,959 shares, and it went through. And another was for 2,999,999 shares, and it too went through. What are the chances that someone else had placed an order exactly equal to just one of those amounts, much less both? I would say this stock is not behaving like no market makers are involved. Very interesting indeed!
It's alive! It's aliiive!!
Talk about pain relief! ;0)
Hey, anybody think she's finally dead? ;0)

Well, I don't really see the need to attend because I'm not in any pain. But come to think of it, if I got on a jet and flew five hours to Massachusetts, I probably would be. ;0)

Za trade! Za trade!
Bid is back. Flirting with .0002 again.
Sorry, no idea. We're seeing a lot of volume spikes and even runs in stocks that were silent for years. Even EWKS's long dormant sister stock TFZI got some volume recently as well. Don't know the reason for it, but I like it. ;0)
Humphries and Epstein used to be involved with this stock, but haven't been involved with it for years now.
Or at least it hasn't closed above .0001 since 7/20/11.
Never say dead! ;0D
ARSC!!
The excitement is palpable. I feel there may be another trade any week now. Before summer for sure. I think that 50-share trade last week was an MM signal. It means "LOL".
TGIF! Don't know if I could take another week of excitement like this one.
We just had a ½¢ trade!
I'm guessing a year from happy hour.
Okay! bye bye
Wooow. I used to want a bid. Now I just want cheetos.
It's gonna be like woooow, dude!
Maybe it will be paid in bitcoins, but without the bits. Or the coins.
Divvy or not divvy - That is the question.
Lol! During power hour, I hope.
Impressive!
ECCI!!
Sorry. ;0) I don't mean to be a downer, but I just don't put much stock, literally or figuratively, in the current theory circulating elsewhere that the ruling in question is going to result in riches for investors in triple-zero stocks. Or quadruple zero stocks in our case. Although I admit a lot of them are coming back to life all of a sudden. My hopes lie more in a reverse merger, not that I'm aware of any on the horizon, or even more remotely in Steven Aronstein. And whatever our opinions of him, (no need to repeat them, much as we love to,) I see no evidence of any changes on the horizon from him regarding this stock. So for the time being I'll keep on enjoying the bizarre run in some sub-pennies, and continue holding what I have left of this one in the remotest of hopes that some sunny day I'll wake up to the shock of my life and find SMAS with a market maker again. =:-o
That ruling has been cited frequently recently as a possible cause of the sudden surge in triple-zero stocks coming back to life. It's intriguing. However today's trade wasn't all that unusual for SMAS which continues to trade occasionally ever since going on the gray market. As we know, no MM is involved in gray market trades. Brokers just make the trades when they find a buy and a sell order that match exactly. But I have to confess that the ruling was the first thing that popped into my mind when I saw today's trade. It would be so nice to think that something is finally going to jolt this stock back to life. But aside from the CEO taking the necessary steps I don't think anything is going to happen. Could be wrong. If anybody knows of another way, let's do discuss it.
Can not believe the luck I'm having. For years I've held this one and dutifully replaced my sell orders every few months. This morning I almost decided to lower them to .0001, but instead left them at .0002. And to my disbelief, they've sold! So of course this will probably go much higher now. But I'll be happy for all of you if it does. Well, so long as it doesn't go too much higher. ;0)
Wish some of the luck I'm having elsewhere would rub off on this one. All manner of dead stocks are coming to life and selling. Of course it helps to have a market maker.
Feels good, doesn't it? When something you wait for actually happens...
Would love to be a fly on a few hundred walls tonight as folks come home tired from a long day's work, kiss the spouse and kids, walk the dog, have their dinner, and sit down at their computer and cast a weary eye toward their stock investments to see if anything happened today.
Okay, show of hands. Who saw this coming today? Who woke up this morning and said, "You know, I think ECCI is going to run to .0002 today on half a billion volume."?
I actually made a popcorn. It just seemed like the thing to do.
ECCI shaking off the dust!
HOLY HERD OF CATTLE!!!
And if it doesn't run, I'll do the same. ;0)
Lol. No worse than me.
Don't you hate it when that happens? ;0) I'm holding on for higher. Call me nuts.
Holy cow! It's alive!
