That’s what I like to think as an optimistic shareholder
I don’t think there’s any doubt that if Cisco and arris don’t help pay for any damages that accrue from this case there will be a substantial lawsuit against them. I think it’s also clear based on the arris financials where they talk about the chanbond case that they know they will have to pay for providing the hardware to the cable companies.
Well, on a semi-related note, when I was looking into Cisco I saw that they pledged 50 million to address homelessness in Santa Clara county. So them doing well as a company means more funds to spend.
I’m not sure what you’re quoting or the context of where it came from
The timing is definitely interesting here
My personal speculation is exactly what you said in the last sentence. They got hit hard by chanbond in the PTAB so it would seem they are trying to eliminate that from happening in the future.
That would mean they’re pretty scared of the damages they’re on the hook for
If chanbond has anything to do with the fact that Cisco is completely changing the process in which they do business, then I believe we will be seeing something pretty significant.
No surprise here. We all knew it was only a matter of time. Exciting to see though. Maybe it’s time for Cisco and arris to get in touch about tag teaming a settlement
I love that you put this on the board lol
BUT THIS TIME ITS DIFFERENT RAM!!! DONT YOU GET IT?! THIS ISNT ABOUT CYBER SECURITY! THIS IS ABOUT OUR LIVES!!!!
Didn’t I literally just say yesterday to expect some sort of PR or social media post saying something like this to inspire hope with the fins coming up? Lol it’s comical how cyclical this is and no one seems to notice
Yeah I’ve seen other tickers gag the TA during dilution periods because they don’t know for sure how many shares it will take to pay off the noteholders. Even at an average price of .001 it is more than enough to pay off all outstanding notes at the time of the 13-D. Again, that is speculation but I think it’s very likely that the T-trades stopping and the O/S being released again shows that the noteholders have been paid off.
Keep an eye out for nice fluffy PR from Kay before the fins drop. Something always seems to come out just before the numbers get released whether it’s an interview or an article or a social media post. Just something for the other board to spin and focus on so they don’t have to talk about how bad their revenues are
Is that CDEL with a million on the 23 bid too?
well now we know for sure that Entrust didn't pay a dime. Maybe the 8k's actually are trustworthy.
do you still think it wasn't a wash?
Remember when Kay said “we did very well” in regards to this case?
“Sooner or later they will realize it is time to pay up”
They may already realize it and filed for an extension to buy some time for negotiations or to get all 13 companies on the same page. It can be looked at two ways, it’s either a delay tactic to try and drag the process out (which I’m sure a certain someone will point out) or it could be what I already mentioned. Or maybe it’s something as simple as them not having a certain document ready on time
First thing I thought about when I saw that was the case you mentioned. Asked for an extension and then the case was dismissed less than two months later. Very well could be to get the cable 13 all on the same page in regards to a number.
Thank you!
Thank you!
Has anyone with L2 seen CDEL around the last few months? Just curious
Sounds like you didn’t read the article from March 1st talking about RPX losing to chanbond. Shocker
Yeah this just takes a quick google on ptab procedures to prove you wrong lol you haven’t seen the cable companies file anything individually because they’re 22 months past the date of which they can file an ipr.
I think the issue that people have with the other board is that anything considered negative about the company is considered a violation of the TOS.
Kay has the other board in his back pocket though. There’s a proven relationship between the two entities
Looks like the sellers cleared out. Awfully thin again
the pps on june 15th ranged from .011 to .0138...
I'm sure this hurt that average price...
Exactly. I’ve always assumed there weren’t many, if any, “flippers” here that were looking for an overnight profit. Today has shown that so far. People with positions here understand that the decision, while not exactly perfect was still fantastic given the history of large companies like Cisco in court. Everyone here seems to be in it until the settlement/trial.
I agree with this. I believe if carter wanted to take a lowball settlement offer he could have and would have a while ago
I know the idea of reading a multi page document is daunting for some people but by reading it and taking the time break it all down it actually becomes clear who the note holders are, how much they are owed and even goes into the average price share that they’re converting. It also breaks down how much Carter paid and breaks down literally everything that has happened in the last 18 months and everything is happening exactly how they stated. That’s why no one is bothered by the claims of the people who haven’t done their research.
that’s a great find. No one is going to fall for that. They should have to pay more for lying in my opinion
Pretty ironic for you to be the one saying that don’t you think?
Yeah you did. The 13-d goes over all the numbers. There are 3 note holders but at this rate there can’t be much left for them.
March 3rd is the deadline
I agree. Exciting stuff
My biggest hope is that bmic is still gone when that decision comes. You combine that with the hype we had from the rpx win and it should really fly. I recall that the Monday after the last rpx decision there was actually quite a bit of buying pressure but bmic held us. If they aren’t around we will all be very happy
Yeah if people aren’t selling the bid/ask will tighten up and we all know how fast it can move
