Aloha Art - well, it looks like the sky is the limit as far as potential applications are concerned.
Per the website, Magnum will be involved in the rubber market as a whole. Natural and synthetic rubber products include but are not limited to:
Rubber gaskets, seals and spacers,
Rubber footwear and clothing,
Molded, extruded and fabricated rubber products,
Rubber mats,
Rubber Sporting Goods,
Rubber Bands,
Hoses and rubber belts,
Rubber Stamps,
Tread Rubber Compounds,
Dinghies and Rubber Rafts,
And then there are Thermoplastics with a wide range of uses in the Automotive (weather seals, interiors, underhood), Industrial (pipe seals, major appliances, sheeting), and Consumer (telecommunications, computers and accessories, grips).
The potential is mind boggling….

It may be mid Feb before we get those real numbers for operating for just 1/2 a quarter...I'll be right there as well doing the math...
W6 - a great short feature would be NSS accepting their first shipment..
Makamai
Aloha Soapy - my point was that their last filing in July was quite late and for the three months that ended February 29, 2008. They had filed each quarter in the year 2007, however that they haven't filed for any of the remaining quarters of 2008 yet. If they were fully reporting, they would be filing within 45 days of the end of the quarter. That hasn't happened unless you have info other than what I obtained from Edgar.
Makamai
An update would be nice - however, I'm not sure about the comapny's ability to move this product line in economic times such as these. If the company intends to be fully reporting, a 10QSB should be out soon and ought to be an eye opener.
Makamai
The only buzz I've been hearing is you guys here on Ihub the last couple of days. The fact that the IBox has been updated and a few recent posts to me is a good sign. I got suckered into this play back in June by Scott Peterson of Bench Mark Journal, with the claim that it was going to .70. So I'd appreciate some good news after the last NR that tanked it. Anyone feel that averaging down is a smart move as of yet?
Makamai
That's good to hear - Soon for me, however, would be sooner than later. I'm still hanging in there, just hope they can document some sales that show a rebound. In this present economic crisis, that won't be easy.

The answer is yes and yes. The following NR was released by Our Planet confirming it:

'Our Planet' Show to Feature Magnum D'Or Resources, on CNN Headline News, MSNBC, FOX, Discovery Channel, and Other Regional News Networks
Tuesday August 26, 7:30 am ET
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Aug. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- The producers of Our Planet are pleased to announce that Magnum D'Or Resources will be featured in an upcoming episode as part of the show's Environmental Impact series on Sustainable Resource Management Solutions for the 21st Century. This show will be aired multiple times on Fox Business Network, CNN Headline News, Discovery Channel, CNN, MSNBC, Regional News Network, along with other Networks.
Discarded tires are among the largest and most difficult sources of waste in landfills. Worldwide, approximately one billion tires were disposed of last year. The accumulation of tires creates major health and safety risks. Tire fires can start easily and can burn for months, causing ground and air pollution. Piles of tires also provide breeding grounds for vermin and mosquitoes that may carry diseases.
The same reasons that tires are a problematic source of waste, their volume and durability, are the same characteristics that make them ideal for recycling. Their unique composition and number of useful end-user products makes tires the most re-used waste material.
Landfills minimizing their acceptance of whole tires and government laws and regulations dealing with scrap tires have led to the creation of many new markets for recycled scrap tires. From apparel products to rubber mulch for landscaping and playgrounds, the applications for recycled tires are numerous.
Florida-based Magnum D'Or Resources (MDOR) is striving to become a global waste management leader with a focus in tire recycling. MDOR's mission and goal is to convert the harmful, disposed tires into sellable "green" industry goods. Their patented processes and licensed technologies are projected to produce highly profitable products and ecological impact by breaking used tires down to their most basic and usable components.
"We have just scratched the surface of possibilities associated with the immense opportunities that await us," said Joseph Glusic, President and CEO of MDOR. "By utilizing reconstituted rubber alloys in products that would normally have been created from dwindling virgin raw materials, the possibilities are virtually endless. Only one's imagination can limit the infinite applications that will impact our daily lives with the products we will create."

Good to see a little activity on this board, even if it's only to update the IBox. The last sell was on 1 Oct. Is there any life left in this puppy? - After the last NR, looks like everyone abandomed ship. If they are fully reporting, they seem to have missed a 10QSB in April and it would appear that one is due this month. Can they turn it around?
Makamai
Aloha Richie - well, to get some real production figures, we'll have to wait most likely until 14 Feb 2009 for the first fy quarters results - or should I say half quarters results. I think claiming that the company is in default on their production scheduling is a little harsh. They provided a 3 month estimate in late July and that was only an estimate. Last Thursday's NR is the first commitment as to when production will be starting - this week! I feel that once the CNN interview and Our Planet programs air, there will be considerable upward price movement. Also, I'm looking to the first of next year for fine powder products to be launched and that will also move the share price. It would appear there are lots of good things on the near horizon...

Aloha Art - Magnum has put out a special NR to totally distance themselves from Green Rubber Global. http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/081019/clsu001.html?.v=74 (Magnum D'Or Resources Issues JV Update & Clarification Sunday October 19, 4:06 am ET)
Below is my previous post #1534 on this subject:
-----------------------------------------------
Aloha Homerun.. As I understand it from my research, “SRI was founded by the doyen of modern Rubber Technology, the late Tan Sri Dr. B.C. Sekhar to develop and commercialize proprietary innovations and technologies developed by him. SRI in addition boasts new cutting edge solutions in elastomeric processing technologies and proprietary next generation equipment and processes for the rubber recycling industry developed by his son Gopinath B. Sekhar.” http://srielastomers.com/research. The brains of the father are with his chemist son, Gopi Sekkhar, who had inherited his father's passion in rubber & inherited the R&D Malaysian lab after his death. MDOR has the relationship with Sekhar Research Innovations Sdn Bhd (SRI).
Green Rubber Global is run by Datuk Vinod Sekhar, a second son of Dr.Sekhar,"Mr.Natural Rubber, who passed away about 2 years ago. Datuk is a saleperson and has introduced " Green Rubber Global " He has had major investors/Hollywood types such as Mel Gibson finance it, but has had problems getting things going.
Green Rubber Global announced in December of 07 about creating an IPO. Then in June in an article titled "Green Rubber says mkt conditions needs to improve for IPO", it states: "Green Rubber Global Ltd, a tyre-recycling firm part-owned by Hollywood actor Mel Gibson, said on Thursday it would raise $20-$50 million in pre-IPO funding for a possible listing in Hong Kong or on London's junior Alternative Investment (AIM) market in November. The following website lists stock price which is zero.
http://www.digitallook.com/companyresearch/549916/Green_Rubber_Global/share_prices.html I don't think market conditions have improved much for them yet so I doubt their IPO will happen anytime soon.
They also attempted to obtain property in New Mexico for a plant with the aid of State and Local funding but it was turned down by the governor. "Mayor claims governor axed $2.9 million because of Red Rock State Park." http://www.abqjournal.com/abqnews/content/view/6192/2/
So it looks like Green rubber by now must have a persecution complex - nobody loves them! (lol). MDOR has the patents and the expertise with Gopi and SRI and he is the guy who can implement them. MDOR is public unlike Green Rubber Global. From what I gather, there possibly may be issues between the brothers, otherwise you would think that they would have united into one company?
I am anxiously awaiting the market reaction to this JV this week, and I hope that there is enough positive price movement to force HDSN to cover their short position. We can all be thankfull that we have such agressive management that can put these deals together. The outcome could be beyond our wildest dreams....
Richie - here's the part of the NR that excites me the most.
"Magnum owns the exclusive rights to North America and future Global Rights to an array of next generation of cost saving custom compounds, patents, process technology, and trade secrets of Sekhar Research Innovations that will allow for rubber to be reconstituted, liquefied, specially blended into EPDM powders, and EPDM compounds.
SRI and Magnum are currently using its advanced technologies along with continued research & development to produce the next generation of retread compounds and reactivated ambient /cryogenic rubber powders for the world market. Magnum has now positioned itself in the global arena by locating a facility in Malaysia with capability for R & D, high performance compounding, processing aids, recycling solutions, and advanced state of the art equipment.

Unless a company is either a public company or has a website, what makes you think they should show up in a Google search? There are many private companys out there that may use the internet, but won't show up on a search of the internet.
Makamai
Aloha Art-- looks like we closed just over the 20-Day Close M.A. of 0.6845. The 50-Day Close M.A. is 0.5829. Seems like a good time for a breakout to a buck or more. Would you agree?
Makamai
Aloha WhiteNOC - I realize it's not a top priority, however the IBOX needs to be purified of Spreelast/Artech and updated to reflect SRI....Some of the pics as well... It certainly needs reference to this fantastic NR!
Makamai
Aloha Homerun..From what I hear, production will soon be 24/7, and we have an added bonus with an outside source assisting in generating nuggets so both contracts can start being fulfilled....Looking forward to the first 10QSB filed in Feb of 09 to see what our first 1/2 quarter has netted us in the way of revenue....
Makamai
Aloha Art - well, this is the one we have been waiting for, for what seems like an eternity!! It's upward and onward from here -
Congrats to all longs for hanging in here. Some of us have been around for almost 5 years. Special congrats to managements efforts in making it happen... I understand that good things take time - great things simply take a little longer and having production start up is totally awesome and just the start of even greater things to come....

I learned a long time ago, never buy with money you don't have. That's the risk on buying on margin. Since there were over 70K short, I suspect some of them jumped on the bandwagon closing out their short position as well if they were smart since everywhere you look, there is talk of news out shortly which should have a major positive effect on the stock price.
Makamai
Dom - This was HDSN and what it appears is that this drop took out the shorts. I had a limit in at .55 which was picked up - darn, should have been lower.
Makamai
Dom - MM HDSN (Hudson Securities) has an Ask of .88 and a bid at .15. Aparently that's who they follow vice providing the MM with the low ask and the MM with the high bid and they often arn't the same MM.

Art2Gecko - check your board's subscription and drop me a line.

Correct - the frist 10QSB that should show income for the company's first fiscal year quarter for 2009 (10/1/2008 thru 12/31/2008) would by Valentines day - Feb 14, 2009. Hopefully they can crank out a bunch of buffings and get them delivered to NSS and get paid by the end of December, keeping in mind that almost half of the quarter is gone already.
Makamai
fsmith - According to SEC docs, Magnum’s on a fiscal year that starts 1 Oct through 9/30. They have been filing the 10KSB annual report by Jan 15 of the following year as a general rule. As far as quarterly reports go (10QSB), they are due 45 days after the end of the quarter. Magnum’s past quarterly reports have been late a couple of times due I believe to changing auditing firms. The last quarterly report for the period ending 6/30/08 was filed on 8/19/08. The company has been filing extensions when unable to meet the filing date. We should expect to see the quarterly report for the period ending 9/30/08 by the 15th of this month.
Makamai
Aloha W6 - looks like the short interest has doubled in the first half of the month after having dropped in the last half of Sept. We could see a short squeeze if sufficient news with equivalent volume comes out, otherwise it could begin to drive the price down again.

Aloha Art2Gecko...Welcome back. Now that SRI is in the picture, the company's plan has changed from Spreelast. It will be interesting to see what effect that will have on the bottom line. It appears to have opened up many new lines of product supply and development from the use of fine powders. The potential is mind boggeling....
Makamai
Kashking - lets see, Alias Born On: Tuesday, October 21, 2008 , and you have 5 posts total, 4 on MDOR a stock you admittedly don't own and one on GOIH - Funny thing but you claim that stock is a scam as well. Since you don't own this stock, and you've warned us all about Chad and we are so grateful, and since you claim you will never invest in this stock; you can now with a clear conscience move on to some other stock to bash. By the way, I trust this will be the last time we hear from you on this board.
Aloha Da Chief...Publicity is great, recognition is great, completing trials is great but the only thing that will move this stock is sales. After review of the last financial report, it looks like a lot of them must be sold to give this company positive cash flow. Any idea how soon they can begin and do you think they still have a market for thier stents?
Makamai
Couldn't resist the .68 ask by UBSS and jumped in again...
By the way, I'm also a firm believer in Chad's motivation to make this company a major going concern. If you approach him in a negative accusatory manner, he'll react accordingly like anyone else. He has put in a whole lot of time and effort to create a company that will soon be a world contender in the recycling and rubber applications field. Each and every stock holder owes him a big debt of gratitude for his accomplishments to date. He has kept his promise in keeping the company transparent with frequent NRs, and he has created and maintained a very detailed and frequently updated website. He deserves our praise and thanks for his efforts to date. There is no justification for any criticism... I'm totally with you on this one Surfguy.
Makamai
Aloha TraderColony and welcome to the MDOR forum on IHUB. This stock has come a long way from where it initially started as a mining play in Mongolia. And little did we all know that when Chad Curtis bought into what for all intents and purposes was a clean shell, this would be the result.
The only reason the stock isn't over a buck at this point is the MMs and the games they play on the BB exchange. However it appears that the short position has been cleansed and normal trading for a stock w/about 8 mil float has resumed. FYI, the company wants to keep the float & outstanding shares to a minimum as evidenced by the fact that financing has come from other means that giving away the store.
Lot of things to look forward to, especially as we begin to prosper from the SRI partnership and get into some high tech rubber processing and resultant products.
Thanks for yours and fSmiths contributions to the trading volume today, that resulted in a new 52 week high and close. Now certainly is the time to let your brothers, sisters, aunties, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, etc. etc. know about this "diamond in the rough" as you put it.
IMHO, this company could wind up in the Fortune 1000 in the years to come and having the opportunity to get in at the ground floor is a rare opportunity at best.
Makamai
Surfguy - apparently alexindef has some need or compulsion to go on every stock board that Willy Wizard is promoting with a simialr post...
Makamai
We've tested the previous 52 week high today - would be nice to charge right on past it by closing, however the bid and ask have spread to .80/.70 at the moment. FINALLY, HDSN is off the ask and ARCA hasn't shown up, which contributed to this nice pop today, along with that awesome NR giving more details on the patents and their applications.
Makamai
Aloha Surfguy - well the stock is FINALLY behaving more normally like a stock with about 8mil on the float should. Nice steady volume today and .06 rise so far.
What do you suppose that "exciting news" will consist of? I'm hoping, that we'll get some insite into the types of products our new JV with SRI will be producing and how soon we can expect that to begin happening. Looks like Magnum is setting up their Asian office in Malaysia - a rather central location it would seem. I would also expect to hear some news regarding Holly Chan's trip to China hopefully in the near future as well.
Makamai
Aloha WhiteNOC - well I guess Boux got a promotion today to temporary Director and VP of Canadian Ops. Looks like the company needs his expertise to get more plants up and running in the future. As far as the stock price goes, for the 2nd day in a row, ARCA has jumped in on the low ask with no bid, and has now left leaving HDSN on the Bid and Ask. Hopefully the shorts have got the message to cover and leave so we can get back to positive price appreciation.
Makamai
The low ask has been taken over by ARCA - maybe HDSN is stepping aside lets hope and we are ready for the next run.
Makamai
I'm all for continuing the trend, however I've never found charts to be all that reliable on bb stocks...they move more on news of importance.
Makamai
Aloha Da Chief..If ya don't mind my saying, it's back where it was pre reverse split & has a long ways to go to get back to where it was post split before the meltdown... I hope they can get these stents to market soon before they become a thing of the past...
Makamai
Aloha Surfguy - This came out Sunday. I don't know what sort of distribution "Free Press Release" has, but the headline and the introductory commentary certainly gets your attention.

Aloha Dom, Check this out, MM NITE was up until a couple months ago always on the high bid and low ask until HDSN took over the low ask having shorted the stock and has been driving it down. After todays action, NITE is back on the high bid at $.58, but NITE's ask is $5.60....go figure. I have no doubts that we will be there some day and hopefully sooner than later. HDSN is still on the low ask, but hopefully they are having to cover their short position and will soon go away.

Aloha W6W - News finally out on News Wire as follows:
Magnum and Sekhar Research Innovations Join Forces to Develop Next Generation Rubber Processing Aids and Range of Custom Multi Application Compounds
Monday October 13, 11:33 am ET
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Oct. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Magnum D'Or Resources, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: MDOR - News) announces its new research & development programs, long term partnership, and joint venture with Sekhar Research Innovations Sdn Bhd (SRI). Magnum will receive immediate exclusivity for North America and future global rights to an array of next generation cost saving custom compounds targeted at a wide spectrum of applications. In addition, Magnum will have access to state of the art processing aids and new world proprietary rubber recycling equipment. These developments will Revolutionize the Global Rubber Processing & Next Generation Compounding Market Worldwide.
Chairman of Magnum, Joe Glusic, stated, "Magnum has now positioned itself in the global arena by locating a facility in Malaysia with capability for R & D, high performance compounding, processing aids, recycling solutions, and advanced state of the art equipment." Its new office will be located locally in Malaysia with SRI. "This really puts us on par with many other larger and more sophisticated companies and conglomerates. Actually, it puts us in prime position to be the first public company to operate and produce turnkey rubber recycling solutions, and could be the first Company to actually revolutionize the way rubber is recycled and processed worldwide."
Magnum will accelerate its plan to produce ultra fine powders, and will now produce high performance compounds & processing aids both in Malaysia and in Canada at its existing Magog facility. These new additions will dramatically boost the return on investment for the products we produce. The profit margins associated with rubber powders and ancillary compounding will be significantly higher than producing conventional products like buffing and nuggets. Being further up the value and performance chain also means it will lead to substantial increases in consumption and consequent revenue. In addition to our facility in Malaysia, we will also use the new Research and Training facility located adjacent to our production facility in Magog to accelerate the introduction of the full range of cost saving multi application compounds and processing aids into the North American compounding community.
Sekhar Research Innovations Sdn Bhd and Magnum D'Or resources, Inc. is currently using its advanced technologies along with continued research & development to produce the next generation of retread compounds and reactivated ambient /cryogenic rubber powders for the world market.
We have tested and formulated a number of high-tech and revolutionary innovative methods for the recycling of scrap tires, although not all of them represent recycling in its original meaning. These methods differ in regard to their products, feasibility, technical efficiency and ecological compatibility; however, it is our goal to work with technologies that provide the optimum solutions in meeting today's needs in commercially and technically viable manner.
We are also working on specific programs to substantially increase the speed, cost efficiency, processing capacities and performance specifications of existing devulcanization technologies. Program Research reaches into the development of cutting edge Processing Aids with emphasis on high performance specifications and low cost implementation. (Processing aids are materials, chemicals and products that modify the behavior of compounds in terms of characteristics during process and or performance parameters in the final product. In rubber, processing aids have become a vital component in nearly all manufactured products, molded, extruded or otherwise.)
By working on the establishment of these specialized recycled compounds into accepted standardized raw material compounds, we are moving away from the conventional filler and diluents market and into the value added compounds that contribute to the performance of the final product.
About SRI:
SRI was founded by the doyen of modern Rubber Technology, the late Tan Sri Dr. B.C. Sekhar to develop and commercialize proprietary innovations and technologies developed by him. Today SRI in addition boasts new cutting edge solutions in elastomeric processing technologies and proprietary next generation equipment and processes for the rubber recycling industry developed by his son Gopinath B. Sekhar. SRI is also providing a new perspective to an old and traditional industry with new technically specified rubbers and specialized low protein latex.
