it wouldn't be appropriate if they haven't signed with a major US carrier. They are in talks with the US carriers and that is what the PR states.
where did you come from?
"will be like a rainbow for BKMP"???? what does that mean?
and why are you thanking us for our hard job? what hard job?
putting money into BKMP was not hard work. Whether it is smart or stupid is yet to be determined but certainly was not hard work.
80,000 shares of BKMP??? wow... even at .001 PPS you have a wopping $80 invested. You're in big time!
you own 800 common stock?
800 x 10000 (divy) = 8 mil
2x5 .0009x.001
to help bail us out?
we've been through all this for the past 3 days... u have a lot of posts to read!
y are people so quick to ignore things that may not make the day smell all rosy?
u can't ignore the obvious
i have a feeling we'll see .0013-.0014 today
The Important Dates of a Dividend
There are four major dates in the process of a company paying dividends:
* Declaration date– This is the date on which the board of directors announces to shareholders and the market as a whole that the company will pay a dividend.
* Ex-date or Ex-dividend date– On (or after) this date the security trades without its dividend. If you buy a dividend paying stock one day before the ex-dividend you will still get the dividend, but if you buy on the ex-dividend date, you won't get the dividend. Conversely, if you want to sell a stock and still receive a dividend that has been declared you need to sell on (or after) the ex-dividend day. The ex-date is the second business day before the date of record.
* Date of record– This is the date on which the company looks at its records to see who the shareholders of the company are. An investor must be listed as a holder of record to ensure the right of a dividend payout.
* Date of payment (payable date) – This is the date the company mails out the dividend to the holder of record. This date is generally a week or more after the date of record so that the company has sufficient time to ensure that it accurately pays all those who are entitled.
Why All These Dates?
Ex-dividend dates are used to make sure dividend checks go to the right people. In today's market, settlement of stocks is a T+3 process, which means that when you buy a stock, it takes three days from the transaction date (T) for the change to be entered into the company's record books.
As mentioned, if you are not in the company's record books on the date of record, you won't receive the dividend payment. To ensure that you are in the record books, you need to buy the stock at least three days before the date of record, which also happens to be the day before the ex-dividend date.
The fine print from the latest BKMP PR:
"Technical complications that may arise could prevent the prompt implementation of any strategically significant plan(s) outlined above. The company cautions that these forward-looking statements are further qualified by other factors. The company undertakes no obligation to publicly update or revise any statements in this release, whether as a result of new information, future events or otherwise."
dividend
huh? explain!
I'm gonna buy low and sell high too! Damn... why didn't I think about this before?
skiple?
So 10,000 preferred for every common means for every one hundred thousand common you get 1 billion preferred! If you can buy and sell preferred then even if the PPS is .0001 that's $100,000 for every billion preferred you sell. In summary you get $1 for every common that gets converted. If you got 1 million common then that gets converted to $1,000,000 if you can sell the preferred at .0001. Somehow I think there will be a corrected PR or if the divided structure is correct then I get the feeling it'll be impossible to sell the preferred until there is a r/s of probably 10,000 to 1.
Sandy loves to PR big just at the close before a long weekend.
no one
I will be sending positive vibes and good wishes. I'm sure it will all turn out just fine.
You on the other hand need to eat a lot!
i hope you don't have a lot invested in this stock! BTW... basically all pinkie stocks are a joke, not just SMMW. The trick is being at the right place at the right time. Sure all the charting and O/S make a slight difference but these are not real companies and so all that is pretty much out the window. This is gambling and I hope you understand that. Might as well be in Vegas for all it's worth... are you a gamblin man?
...who speaks broken english
i see the term "bid" and "ask" being mentioned a lot. What exactly are those terms used for? Is it useful to know what they mean in order to trade? Also I was thinking about getting a second mortgage because I want to buy some more BKMP stock. I currently only have 200 mil and I would like to get at least 100 mil more but I am totally wiped out. I need the money badly because of all those collection letters I am getting. Oh yeah... is it normal to get turned on when you read how some people posting on this board are buying and selling 100-200 mil of their stock everyday and it seems like they always time it exactly right! How do they do it?... it amazes me. i wish I was as smart as them!
Not everyone is as easy going as you. I wish life was as simple as you male it out to be.
I understand what you are saying TinaM, and yes humor can lessen the pain. The problem is that racial jokes leads to more hate which when returned (i.e. jokes about jews) can escalate very quickly to more tension. If a person truly wants to create an environment of mutual respect, then they need to focus in on the positives and not make jokes on the negatives.
For example Tina, let's say I disliked women who do not mow their own lawns and things went back and forth with that person spewing hate and slander; but then I came around and said to my self that I really need to try and respect this person and try and ease the tension and a good way is to create a board to try and show the world how respect is a better way to go. Then right after this board is created I show a comic about a fat, ugly obviously lazy woman surrounded by weeds practically engulfing her. Sure, this may be funny on the surface because this woman who was too lazy to mow is not getting attacked by weeds but I can't imagine the person I was trying to respect will turn around and say thank you for showing me the light.
Racial jokes are never respectful. This board is a farce.
Good luck with this board.
"RESPECT IS A MUST. I wanted to create a board that will unite us all and have respect for one another."
Just so you know, jokes about Muslims is not the best way to show respect for one another. This board is a nice thought but already you are showing your bias.
wakes you wonder huh... I know people do not lie so it must be our brokers who screwed us.
i thought you left
look who is calling the kettle black
i prefer the classic version
I'm buying another 200 mil at .0005 right now and I just dumped everything I had (almost 243 mil) at .0007.
(everything I and everyone else writes on Ihub can and most likely is Bullsh!t)
you talk too much too and are full of it.
