LOL. Well I'm going to go for a walk just like my grampa used to always do.
O/T: Is this what you mean by 'bug the board moderators'? :0)
I sent an e-mail off to Cal in case he was unaware of the patent.
Indeed, TR. Was an eye-opener for me with respect to poultry manure. Perhaps the Japanese invention will make improve its acceptability as a biofuel?
I'm wondering if FASC management was made aware of this invention, and whether it's of interest to them.
No worries Sam. Now the B/A is .015 X .019 and the stock is even for the day. LOL
"One of the sources of chlorine is from the various drugs and pesticides used in the poultry industry.[35] Chlortetracycline is a chlorinated growth-promoting antibiotic widely-used in the broiler industry. Also, at least seven other drugs, most of them anticoccidials are chlorinated.[36] One of the more commonly used anticoccidials is Amprolium. The residues in poultry litter of Chlortetracycline and Amprolium alone rivals that of Roxarsone, the most common arsenical.[37] With this many tons of chlorinated drug residue in poultry litter, there is undoubtedly an ample supply of chlorine for dioxin formation. After all, dioxins are typically measured in nanograms and picograms, since they are toxic in such tiny amounts."

Detailed Description:
[Detailed Description of the Invention]
[Field of the Invention]
[0001]
In this invention, grinding of a chlorine content organic waste, drying, desiccation, and demineralization are performed in more detail about the disposal method and processing unit of a chlorine content organic waste, without heating.
Therefore, it is related with the disposal method and processing unit of the chlorine content organic waste [ it is possible to fuel-ize a chlorine content organic waste easily and cheaply, and ] which can be further used effectively as fuel, such as cement firing equipment.
[Background of the Invention]
[0002]
Conventionally, in the rotary kiln of cement firing equipment, combustible wastes which are kinds of organic system waste, such as a waste tire and a waste plastic, are used as what substitutes for some fuel.
These days, the method of carrying out incineration processing is also performed by feeding into a rotary kiln directly the organic system waste which contains many moisture although it can burn eventually.
For example, the method of introducing into the kiln bottom portion or temporary-quenching furnace of a rotary kiln directly, and incinerating the hydrous sludge of the organic system of a sewage sludge etc., without pretreating desiccation, additive agent addition, etc., is proposed (for example, refer to patent documents 1).
Generally, the ash by which the hydrous sludge of an organic system is generated by incineration as a residue since the most is occupied with moisture and an organic matter is very slight. Therefore, when the hydrous sludge of an organic system is directly fed into a rotary kiln, it is possible for the hydrous sludge of this organic system not to affect the ingredient of cement clinker, and to carry out incineration processing within a rotary kiln.
[0003]
The trial which uses effectively the carbide obtained by on the other hand carbonizing the wet waste of the organic system which contains still more organic components instead of the hydrous sludge of an organic system although it is high water content is being made. There are chicken droppings which have high calorific value as an example of the wet waste of this organic system, the organic component which these chicken droppings have is carbonized, and using effectively as carbide is performed.
For example, the hot blast stove provided with the steam pipe and the combustion chamber for livestock droppings, such as chicken droppings, and the dry carbonization furnace of a multistage type, It introduces into the device of a sealing system provided with the circulatory system which circulates the hot steam which it is allocated among these and generated, and the method of obtaining carbide and an ashes ghost from livestock droppings, such as chicken droppings, is proposed, circulating a hot steam within this device (refer to patent documents 2).
Since the carbide obtained by these methods is combustibles, it can be reused as fuel etc. For example, this carbide can be used as auxiliary fuel in cement firing equipment.

[Description of the Invention]
[Problem(s) to be Solved by the Invention]
[0004]
By the way, in the method of introducing into a rotary kiln directly the hydrous sludge of the conventional organic system mentioned above, and incinerating it. The fall of the raw material temperatures in the kiln bottom portion of the rotary kiln produced with evaporation of the moisture in hydrous sludge, The fall of the sensible heat which heating and the raw material by which the decarboxylation was carried out have at suspension preheater or a temporary-quenching furnace, Or the fall etc. of the temperature of the zone (kiln sintering zone) which a cement raw material sinters in the shape of clinker became a cause, and there was a problem that the cement clinker calcination capability of cement firing equipment declined extremely. Since the quantity of heat for calcination and power usage per unit clinker became high, there was fear, like economical operation becomes impossible.
[0005]
In the method of on the other hand generating carbide from livestock droppings, such as chicken droppings, using the conventional hot steam mentioned above. Since chicken droppings usually contain chlorine which is the moisture which is about 50 to 70%, and about 5000-10000 ppm, in order to carbonize these chicken droppings, it is necessary to heat at not less than 400 **, in order to be this heating, not less than 450 ** overheated steam is needed, but. In order to obtain such hot overheated steam enough, capacity of the heat exchanger which carries out heat exchange to the exhaust gas of a hot blast stove needed to be enlarged, and there were problems, like equipment becomes excessive.
The amount of [ which was contained in the original chicken droppings ] chlorine will remain so much in the state where hardly dissipate to the exterior in process of carbonization, and it condensed inside. Therefore, the carbide obtained by carbonizing chicken droppings had a possibility of leaving a problem in the quality as fuel.
[0006]
This invention was made in order to solve the above-mentioned technical problem, and it is ****. The purpose by carrying out without heating grinding of an organic waste, drying and desiccation, and demineralization, It is providing the disposal method and processing unit of a chlorine content organic waste which can fuel-ize a chlorine content organic waste easily and cheaply, and can be further used effectively as fuel, such as cement firing equipment.
[Means for Solving the Problem]
[0007]
In order that this invention persons may solve an aforementioned problem, as a result of repeating research wholeheartedly, by carrying out load of the impulse force by a high velocity revolution to chlorine content organic wastes, such as chicken droppings, If chlorine and/or a chlorine compound are removed simultaneously with grinding of this chlorine content organic waste, drying, and desiccation, An obtained organic waste for fuel can be used effectively as fuel for cement firing equipment, a residue after combustion can be used as a cement clinker raw material, and it finds out that there is moreover no possibility of having an adverse effect on operation and cement quality of cement firing equipment, and came to complete this invention.
[0008]
Namely, a disposal method of a chlorine content organic waste of this invention, By being a disposal method for fuel-izing a chlorine content organic waste, and carrying out load of the impulse force by a high velocity revolution to said chlorine content organic waste, Chlorine and/or a chlorine compound are removed from said chlorine content organic waste at the same time it performs grinding, drying, and desiccation of said chlorine content organic waste, and it has grinding / drying drying process used as an organic waste for fuel.
[0009]
In a disposal method of this chlorine content organic waste, chlorine and/or a chlorine compound are removed at the same time it grinds, dries and dries this chlorine content organic waste by carrying out load of the impulse force by a high velocity revolution to a chlorine content organic waste. Thereby, an obtained organic waste for fuel serves as chlorine and/or a biomass fuel with little content of a chlorine compound.
Since calorific value which this organic waste for fuel holds is available as thermal energy, if this organic waste for fuel is introduced to cement firing equipment, While calorific value of this organic waste for fuel is used effectively as thermal energy of cement pyroprocess, Evaporation of moisture and generating of chlorine and/or a chlorine compound are decreased, fear in cement pyroprocess, such as a fall of temperature and a fall of calcination capability, is lost, and a possibility of having an adverse effect on operation and cement quality of cement firing equipment is also lost.
[0010]
A disposal method of a chlorine content organic waste of this invention makes water content of said organic waste for fuel 30 or less % of the weight.
In a disposal method of this chlorine content organic waste, by making water content of an organic waste for fuel into 30 or less % of the weight, fear in cement pyroprocess, such as a fall of temperature and a fall of calcination capability, is lost, and a possibility of having an adverse effect on operation of cement firing equipment is also lost.
[0011]
A disposal method of a chlorine content organic waste of this invention was provided with washing and a dehydration process which performs washing and drying of said chlorine content organic waste before said grinding / drying drying process.
In a disposal method of this chlorine content organic waste, beforehand, by washing and drying a chlorine content organic waste, some of chlorine contained in this chlorine content organic waste and/or chlorine compounds are removed, and it becomes chlorine and/or a chlorine content organic waste with low content of a chlorine compound. Thereby, an obtained organic waste for fuel serves as chlorine and/or a biomass fuel with still less content of a chlorine compound.
[0012]
A disposal method of a chlorine content organic waste of this invention was provided with a granular chemically-modified [ which granulates said organic waste for fuel ] degree after said grinding / drying drying process.
In a disposal method of this chlorine content organic waste, handling and transportation become easy by granulating an obtained organic waste for fuel.
[0013]
While a processing unit of a chlorine content organic waste of this invention is a processing unit for fuel-izing a chlorine content organic waste and impulse force by a high velocity revolution performs simultaneously grinding, drying, and desiccation of said chlorine content organic waste, It has grinding / drying drying means which removes chlorine and/or a chlorine compound from this chlorine content organic waste, and is used as an organic waste for fuel.
[0014]
In a processing unit of this chlorine content organic waste, by grinding / drying drying means. Chlorine and/or a chlorine compound are removed from this chlorine content organic waste, and it is considered as an organic waste for fuel at the same time it carries out load of the impulse force by a high velocity revolution to a chlorine content organic waste and performs grinding, drying, and desiccation of this chlorine content organic waste.
Thereby, content of chlorine and/or a chlorine compound becomes possible [ obtaining efficiently and cheaply an organic waste for fuel of low water content low ].
[0015]
A processing unit of a chlorine content organic waste of this invention establishes washing and a dehydration means which performs washing and drying of said chlorine content organic waste in the preceding paragraph of said grinding / drying drying means.
In a processing unit of this chlorine content organic waste, beforehand, by washing and drying a chlorine content organic waste, some of chlorine contained in this chlorine content organic waste and/or chlorine compounds are removed, and it becomes chlorine and/or a chlorine content organic waste with low content of a chlorine compound. It enables this to obtain easily and cheaply chlorine and/or a biomass fuel with still less content of a chlorine compound.
[0016]
A processing unit of a chlorine content organic waste of this invention forms a granulation means to granulate said organic waste for fuel in the latter part of said grinding / drying drying means.
In a processing unit of this chlorine content organic waste, a biomass fuel with easy handling and transportation is easily obtained by granulating an obtained organic waste for fuel.
[Effect of the Invention]
[0017]
According to the disposal method of the chlorine content organic waste of this invention, by carrying out load of the impulse force by a high velocity revolution to a chlorine content organic waste, Since chlorine and/or a chlorine compound are removed from said chlorine content organic waste at the same time it performs grinding, drying, and desiccation of said chlorine content organic waste, chlorine and/or a biomass fuel with little content of a chlorine compound can be obtained easily and cheaply.
[0018]
Since the calorific value which this organic waste for fuel holds can be used effectively as thermal energy, If this organic waste for fuel is introduced to cement firing equipment, there will be no fear, such as evaporation of moisture, a fall of temperature [ in / few / for generating of chlorine and/or a chlorine compound / cement pyroprocess ], and a fall of calcination capability, and there will also be no possibility of having an adverse effect on operation and cement quality of cement firing equipment.
[0019]
While the impulse force by a high velocity revolution performs simultaneously grinding, drying, and desiccation of said chlorine content organic waste according to the processing unit of the chlorine content organic waste of this invention, Since it had grinding / drying drying means which removes chlorine and/or a chlorine compound from this chlorine content organic waste, and is used as the organic waste for fuel, the content of chlorine and/or a chlorine compound can produce efficiently and cheaply the organic waste for fuel of low water content low.
Since it is not necessary to use thermal energy for desiccation of a chlorine content organic waste, it is not necessary to establish a heat source separately, and energy saving can be aimed at.
[Best Mode of Carrying Out the Invention]
[0020]
The disposal method of the chlorine content organic waste of this invention and the best gestalt of a processing unit are explained based on a drawing.
This embodiment is concretely described in order to make the meaning of an invention understand better, and in particular, as long as there is no specification, it does not limit this invention.
[0021]
Drawing 1 is a mimetic diagram showing the processing unit of the chlorine content organic waste of one embodiment of this invention, and after washing and drying a chlorine content organic waste, grinding and the dehydrating dryer which has a high velocity revolution grinding function are used, For example by performing a demineralization step simultaneously with grinding, drying, and desiccation according to the impulse force by a high velocity revolution in the temperature range 100 ** or less above ordinary temperature (25 **), without using the heat source to heat, Chlorine content usable as fuel for cement firing equipment is an example of the device which obtains the dry fuel which is few biomass fuels.
[0022]
The washing rapid mixing chamber which makes chlorine and/or the chlorine compound which 1 washes a chlorine content organic waste with wash water, and are contained in this chlorine content organic waste in a figure eluted, 2 is a dehydrator which chlorine and/or a chlorine compound remove the moisture in the organic waste for fuel removed by elution by squeezing drying, and use as a low-salt matter organic waste, and with these washing rapid mixing chamber 1 and the dehydrator 2. Washing and the dehydrator (washing and dehydration means) which removes not less than 50% of chlorine from a chlorine content organic waste, and is used as a low-salt matter organic waste are constituted.
[0023]
The silo which stores the low-salt matter organic waste in which 3 was washed and dried, the fixed-quantity feeder with which 4 presents grinding / drying desiccation with a low-salt matter organic waste, While the impulse force according [ according to / in 5 / a transport airplane / 6 ] to a high velocity revolution performs simultaneously grinding, drying, and desiccation of a low-salt matter organic waste, The high velocity revolution grinder (grinding / drying drying means) which removes chlorine and/or a chlorine compound from this low-salt matter organic waste further, and is used as dry fuel (organic waste for fuel), and 7 are granulators (granulation means) which granulate this dry fuel.
[0024]
This high velocity revolution grinder 6 the low-salt matter organic waste which is processed material. For example, the grinding part 11 as for which the top speed of 640 km/o'clock carries out impact crushing by the spinning chain (or spinning bar) which usually rotates at the high speed of not less than 350 km/o'clock, The ground low-salt matter organic waste is classified to a coarse particle and particles, and it comprises the classification section 12 which returns a coarse particle to the grinding part 11 again, and the capturing part 13 which catches the classified particles.
A briquetting mill etc. are suitably used as a device with which the granulator 7 is a device which uses a particle-like low-salt matter organic waste as the granular low-salt matter organic waste of desired particle diameter, or a pellet type low-salt matter organic waste, for example, compression forming was applied.
[0025]
Next, how to fuel-ize a chlorine content organic waste using this processing unit is explained.
Although it can drying[ grinding and ]-dry, and it can desalt with this processing unit and what is necessary is not to just be limited in particular as this chlorine content organic waste, livestock droppings, such as chicken droppings with the level of chlorine high for example comparatively, are preferred. The textiles waste (waste diaper) etc. which contain the dewatered sludge, saw dust (high thing of the level of chlorine), and filth which use a food residue and ferric chloride other than these livestock droppings for a flocculating agent as high organic system waste of especially the level of chlorine are mentioned.
[0026]
throwing a chlorine content organic waste and the wash water of the specified quantity into the washing rapid mixing chamber 1 first here -- predetermined time -- it agitates. As for the input of this wash water, 2 times the amount - 10 times the amount of the input of a chlorine content organic waste are preferred.
A chlorine content organic waste is washed by wash water between this churning, and chlorine and/or the chlorine compound which are contained in this chlorine content organic waste are eluted in wash water. Thereby, a chlorine content organic waste turns into a low demineralization organic waste of the level of chlorine.
[0027]
With the dehydrator 2, squeezing drying is carried out and the low demineralization organic waste of this level of chlorine turns into a drying demineralization organic waste of the water content of 70% or less. Although chlorine and/or the chlorine compound which are contained in the water content to which the content of the chlorine contained in this drying demineralization organic waste and/or a chlorine compound remains in the chlorine content organic waste after washing remain, it is possible to make it decrease to 30% or less compared with washing before. The cyclic use of waste water of the wash water discharged from this dehydrator 2 is again carried out as wash water.
Once this drying demineralization organic waste is stored by the silo 3, it is supplied to the high velocity revolution grinder 6 through the fixed-quantity feeder 4 and the transport airplane 5.
[0028]
When moisture inherent disperses, the drying demineralization organic waste supplied to the high velocity revolution grinder 6 is dried at the same time it is repeatedly ground by the high-speed impulse force in which load is carried out by the spinning chain (or spinning bar) which rotates at high speed between a spinning chain and a collision plate.
In this grinding process, while a drying demineralization organic waste is ground by the mean particle diameter of even 200-400 micrometers, the moisture contained in this drying demineralization organic waste also disperses. Since chlorine and/or a chlorine compound are also contained in this moisture, it is made to follow on moisture dispersing from this drying demineralization organic waste, and chlorine and/or a chlorine compound are also removed from a drying demineralization organic waste.
The moisture which dispersed is emitted outside by the exhaust gas which is bled from the gas which circulates through the inside of the high velocity revolution grinder 6, and is discharged.
[0029]
A drying demineralization organic waste is conveyed to the capturing part 13 by the circulating gas which circulates through the grinding part 11, the classification section 12, and the capturing part 13, is separated and collected from the gas which circulates by this capturing part 13, and is supplied to cement firing equipment etc. as dry fuel in this high velocity revolution grinder 6.
When an odor component etc. are contained in the above-mentioned exhaust gas, By catching the floating particles (a part for a droplet) with a scrubber etc., after joining the above-mentioned wash water, while discharging by performing predetermined water treatment, a part, Predetermined deodorization treatment may be emitted to exhaust gas after catching particles to the almsgiving exterior, and it may use directly as combustion air, such as cement firing equipment.
[0030]
Thus, as for the obtained dry fuel, in the case where this is conveyed etc., since the weight per capacity ratio is small, it is preferred to granulate to predetermined particle diameter using the granulator 7, and to consider it as granularity or a pellet type.
[0031]
As explained above, according to the disposal method of the chlorine content organic waste of this embodiment, water content can be easily fallen to 30% or less, without needing the heat source for desiccation, and biomass fuels, such as dry chicken droppings which moreover hardly contain chlorine and/or a chlorine compound, can be obtained. Therefore, a chlorine content organic waste can be used effectively as a biomass fuel which the content of the chlorine component dried few.
[0032]
After washing and drying a chlorine content organic waste according to the processing unit of the chlorine content organic waste of this embodiment, while the impulse force by a high velocity revolution performs simultaneously grinding, drying, and desiccation of a low-salt matter organic waste, By removing chlorine and/or a chlorine compound from this low-salt matter organic waste further, biomass fuels, such as chicken droppings which the content of chlorine dried very low, are easily and cheaply producible.
[0033]
Since it is not necessary to use thermal energy for desiccation of a chlorine content organic waste, it is not necessary to establish a heat source separately, and energy saving can be aimed at.
By feeding biomass fuels, such as obtained dry chicken droppings, into cement firing equipment, it can use effectively as auxiliary fuel of cement firing equipment, and the residue after combustion can be used effectively as raw material of cement clinker.
[Example]
[0034]
Hereafter, this invention is not limited by these examples although an example and a comparative example explain this invention concretely.
Here, the chicken droppings obtained from the hen for meat were used as a chlorine content organic waste.
The description of these chicken droppings was a massive grain of 20 mm of maximum droplet sizes.
Component analysis of these chicken droppings and measurement of calorific value were performed in accordance with the following test method.
[0035]
1. Technical analysis
It analyzed based on the Japanese Industrial Standard JIS M 8812"coal and corks-technical analysis."
The analysis result is as follows.
moisture: -- 26.3% ash: -- 13.5% volatile-matter-content: -- 51% fixed-carbon-content: -- 8.4% chlorine: -- 6500 ppm
[0036]
2. Ultimate analysis
It analyzed based on the Japanese Industrial Standard JIS M 8813"coal and corks-elemental analysis method."
The analysis result is as follows.
carbon: -- 44.3% hydrogen: -- 5.0% nitrogen: -- 4.2% oxygen: -- 32.2%
[0037]
3. Calorific value
It measured based on the measuring method of the gross calorific value by a Japanese Industrial Standard JIS M 8814"coal and corks-bomb calorimeter, and the calculation method of net calorific value."
Gross calorific value (dry base): 4090 Kcal/kg
Net calorific value (** base) : 2590 Kcal/kg
[0038]
"Example 1"
Chicken droppings were directly supplied to the high velocity revolution grinder, and grinding / drying desiccation was performed.
Here, KDS Micronex form KDS250-S6 (made by First American Scientific Corporation) was used as a high velocity revolution grinder. The input was 650kg/o'clock.
[0039]
"Example 2"
Chicken droppings were immersed in the water of weight 3 times, and it was neglected for 1 hour, it ranked second, application-of-pressure drying was performed, the obtained pre dechlorination chicken droppings were supplied to the high velocity revolution grinder of Example 1 until the amount of retained water became about 60%, and grinding / drying desiccation was performed.
The input to the high velocity revolution grinder was 600kg/o'clock.
[0040]
"Comparative example"
Chicken droppings were dried for 30 minutes at 110 ** using the dryer, and the dry chicken droppings in which it evaporated for retained water [ most ] were obtained.
The description of the dry chicken droppings obtained in Examples 1 and 2 and a comparative example is shown in Table 1.
[0041]
[Table 1]
ID=000003
[0042]
According to Table 1, the dry chicken droppings of Examples 1 and 2 were understood that calorific value increases, chlorine content falls, and mean particle diameter is small, therefore the flammability as fuel is good. And chlorine content does not have other fuel and inferiority and it was checked that it is the fuel which can make small influence which it has on operation of cement firing equipment etc.
In particular, in Example 2, chlorine content has become equivalent to powder coal etc., and the validity as fuel was checked.
On the other hand, concentration of the chlorine compound has produced the dry chicken droppings of the comparative example.
And since mean particle diameter was large, when flammability did not improve, either but it was used as fuel, such as cement firing equipment, it turned out that there is a possibility of having an adverse effect to operation.

Lots of stocks were running hard back then. Rhombic Corp. (NUKE - OTCBB) is one stock that comes to mind (went from 5 cents to 5 dollars) and that company is long gone.
That being said I see FASC as having 100 bagger potential. The relationship with JP Steel Plantech Co. adds a certain legitimacy. Will be interesting to see how this plays out.
I would think there has to be some sort of drying that occurs first before it goes into the KDS. Here is an informative web page which discusses drying techniques and other algae related information:

I'm certainly no chartist, but I'm going to assume he posted that because he was compensated by the company.
Good info Ogclip, thank you. EOM
Thanks HC. EOM
HC, to your knowledge has a circular torus ever been attempted?
Tech, I too have envisioned that being the problem with the sludge feedstock, and come to think of it, perhaps other feed stocks. Your idea would seem to have merit.
I don't know if management monitors this board or not, so you might want to share your idea with them directly.
For those unaware of the Wayback Machine...
You can look at archives of FASC's website over the years.

FYI I have this near the top of the iBox under Historical Company Press Releases.
