Are there current orders for silk that are greater than or equal to one metric ton? If so, when do you expect the customer to receive delivery?
A clear “yes. I expect the customer will accept delivery not later than January 1st, 2020” ... that would be nice.
If you’re allowed to press the issue after he says something like, “ there are orders we expect to deliver soon”, ask for his best guess at naming a month. If he says anything like “January” or “mid-year”, ask him which year.
If he still won’t give you an answer that doesn’t require a battery of lawyers to interpret, for all of us... go kick him in the nuts!
A fair question...
Many many analysts claim they learn more about the current status and the future of a company just by watching body language, listening for genuine enthusiasm in their voices, and watching how they respond to the tough questions.
I believe there’s validity to that.
I’ve joked about people who keep saying how they’ve met Kim. But,.. He managed to convince them that he’s the real deal and that he can do this. I’d love to see what they’ve seen. Because they are definitely believers. I’d like to know if Kim could convince me as well as he convinced them.
“I think M4N used to be the guy that wanted all to appear perfect.”
Wasn’t me. Unless you mean that I’d rather not be seen with M&K... still me.
I’ve always wanted better communication. I still complain about that. Not thrilled with the RS idea.
Will forgive if handled correctly. What “handled correctly” means is...
Produce stuff. Deliver stuff. Get paid. Repeat. That’s all I want. And I want it within the next 6 months
Thinking along the same lines.
No matter what happens, whether Kim over or underwhelms us, this will be volatile.
Best thing about uplisting will be the ability to hedge this sucker with options. Be far easier to sleep at night if I had that “insurance policy”.
“It's for the Long, Longs (those of Original Issue) and future Longs“
Sounds like it. If you don’t qualify, a self directed Roth IRA is a fantastic option.
That’s where half my shares are.

In case anyone is confused by this post, it’s likely due to the fact that it’s dripping with sarcasm.
I was accused of espionage for posting these pictures. Evidently because the place looks so embarrassing that they will give the wrong impression to potential investors because the building appears to be neither operational nor secure. Well, there’s a debate to have.
The disclosure that “I’m not an insider” is a sarcastic way of pointing out the very obvious fact if Kim did not want people to know what the building’s purpose was... then he would not have hung a GIGANTIC SIGN on the exterior ... explaining what will be happening on the interior.
So one doesn’t need to make any statements like- “I swear I’m not an insider, but just look at what I found out from my DD sources who are very, very near (yet not on the inside) ... I know for a fact that Kim doesn’t like people knowing what’s going on in that building.”
In fact, such statements like this would be proof that one was NOT “in the know”. How? Because Kim wouldn’t have hung the flippin’ sign if it weren’t okay to take pictures of the place!!!
Thanks again to the person who took these!!
It’s the Prodigy Textiles building that they’re using/going to use for production. It’s owned by KBL (Kraig Biocraft Laboratories).
Which is why Kim put what he did on the GIGANTIC SIGN out front.
In Vietnamese culture, businesses hang signs on buildings. It’s kind of like their way of saying “hey look at me and at what is/will be happening in this location right here”.
I know that in some cultures, it’s considered espionage to hang a sign outside your business in order for people to notice the place.
Disclosure...I AM NOT AN INSIDER. I’M WELL KNOWN FOR MY DEEP DD!! ... I’ll just say that when Kim decided to hang the GIGANTIC SIGN out by the road, some screamed, “KIM NO!!! PEOPLE WILL GET ONLY ONE SIDE OF THE STORY!!!!” People were then reminded about Vietnamese business culture and how they are proud of what they do. So hanging a sign outside in order to draw attention to your place is NOT considered espionage there. Weird huh.
Please, i encourage everyone to tell us about your culture. Do they do this crazy sign hanging thing in order to draw attention to themselves? It’s just CRAZY!!!
I got them off this message board a few days ago. Were they his? Can’t remember exactly where I got them.
I’m too tired to scroll back and find the OP. Been so many posts lately.
You’re welcome.
The fact that anyone is ashamed of the pictures astounds me. People should rethink their investment if they think these photos are so embarrassing. This looks like every other rural building in Vietnam except 5 times the size.
Yet I had no delusions that it would look like the Wonka factory. It looks look I expected and I suspect will look almost exactly the same when fully operational.
Actually that’s the best part of all this. I reposted those WITH permission! I went to the top on this.
That’s not possible. Why would that happen?
What are you referring to?
I left out a few. If anyone would like me to repost the pics of the building material for the cement pond I will.
“I think Lewis can't get any more funding here. “ ...Thank God for that. All my worries are over.
“And I if you think you can reverse engineer biology,”... I know I can’t. So thank God again!
“I think your not getting it.” ...You think my not getting it. Ok
Well this was fun! We should do this more often. Sometimes it’s just good to share ideas. I feel like we don’t talk enough.
Sorry. I couldn’t reply yesterday. Even though it seems like I only posted a few times, I somehow hit the max of 15.
What do you think it might mean?
You said, “Even If they could it would take them years of research.”
Then I gave reasons why it won’t take them years. I don’t know why you’re having trouble following the discussion.
“Since you brought up Lewis,..”.
I didn’t. Truth did.
“Why was he tickling goat's instead of pursuing this road??? “....He wasn’t tickling goats. He was using them to produce spider silk proteins.
Then he collaborated with Kraig Labs and was even on the scientific advisory board for a spell. So I’m sure he knows about the worm thing that Kim is doing.
That was a great question though. Glad you asked. I always make the assumption that everyone knows the basic story. So I’m definitely glad people ask when they’re having trouble following a discussion.
One of the standard questions that an accounting partner asks a CEO during an audit is, “what keeps you up at night?”
I would love to have heard what Kim’s answer was. I would not doubt if his response was, “China!”
Well, my bad. That was silly of me. M&K doesn’t ASK any questions. They get paid to NOT ask them. (In all fairness to M&K, it’s not ALL their auditing partners that don’t ask questions... just half of them.)
little due diligence would tell you about how business works for the ChiComs.
Lewis was with Kim ten years ago.
Then Kim had “infrastructure” and regulatory issues.
Don’t kid yourself. China has all the money they want to go forward. This is the worst news we could have heard. By far.
If there’s a sell off today, this news will be the trigger.
“Even If they could it would take them years of research”
Oh really?...
Not when you’ve got Lewis.
Not when you’re in the largest silk producing country in the world.
Not when you’re already through years of regulatory red tape.
Not when buildings don’t have to be renovated and your sericulture infrastructure is the best in the world.
Not when patent infringement is never a worry.
I’d say that puts them... right on our heels.
That’s why the photos were great. We hadn’t seen that side of the story.
They were very impressive. Didn’t show activity but i never dreamt production was going on yet at that facility yet. It was massive. Looks great!!!
I suppose if someone expected to see Oompa Loompas marching in and out was disappointed. But no one should have expected that.
Can’t argue with this. Agree 100%. This is by far the worst news about the competition that we could have had. The Chinese don’t care about IP. They are the looters of the world and Lewis is helping them.
“That was done for the Texas mulberry planting location. “
That’s correct. But no pictures. So that helped exactly no one.
I wonder if there were pictures but after consulting with the proper authorities, it was deemed necessary to pretend there were no pictures. (Even though there isn’t a cell phone made without a camera)
Heck, how bad would a field look with just one tiny building on it? We can’t have that getting out!!
Great post by the way! I wholeheartedly agree!
(I keep trying to comment on the pictures of the VN facility, but I evidently keep forgetting to click “send”. I must be getting old. Surely there couldn’t be other factors at work).
those aren’t the photographer’s shoes. And you can see in the shadow that there are two people on the scooter.
The pictures are fine. I’m grateful that someone went to the trouble to post them.
I don’t know why anyone would be upset with these pictures being posted. If this is the place, then it’s the place. Deal with it.
Do the looks of building reflect poorly on KBLB? Some think so. And some think it was part of an orchestrated smear campaign. That is ridiculous. That’s like blaming the bar because they turned the lights up at last call and you discovered your would-be girlfriend is a troll.
Assuming the pictures are not fraudulent, saying that the posting of actual pictures of the factory is part of a plot to cause a sell-off is laughingly ridiculous.
It’s not like anyone pretended to have discovered some “smoking gun” damning photos online and posted them saying... “I wish I could reveal my super secret source... people died getting these. Wish I could tell you how these photos came to be in my possession, but I just can’t. You could find them yourself if you only knew where to look”.
Because that was tried this spring in an orchestrated attempt to RAISE the share price.
I wonder if the same group was behind that as well.
I stand by my words. I’m a forward thinker.
The great communicator will never change. He’ll forever be bad at it. He can’t help it. However, my hope is that with revenue comes someone who knows how to handle KBLB’s image. One who knows people and the market...and marketing.
I believe Kim knows he sucks at communicating. I think he’s admitted that before. People like Kim just can’t understand why people who use Bounty need to be told more than once that it’s “the quicker picker upper”. ... “They should know that already!!”
He doesn’t know how to respond to “does this dress make me look fat?”
We all know the type. He’s definitely one of them. We need a marketing department. One apart from a few well meaning spin doctors on a message board.
Whoops. I meant that X probably WON’T allow it now. Typo.
It would be nice if he said “talks with X” are going great.
I just think X will allow it right now.
Oh the great communicator could certainly say SOMETHING in a PR to stop the bloodletting.
After all I am, “HOLDING THE BAG!”
“To take pics of the outside, paints a one-sided picture.... “
Actually it’s a two sided picture now. We already know what’s going on the inside.
The pics are hardly the cause of the sell off. Nothing wrong whatsoever about posting them. Unless you’re talking about perception. People could draw the wrong conclusions and be way off base... like what it looks like to use crooked accountants. In that case we agree.
I for one want the whole truth.
After all, I am...
HOLDING THE BAG!!!!
Good job. Congrats.
I got some at .20. Maybe will try to kick the pigeon at about .11.
“Kick the pigeon” means the same to an investor as “filling the gap” ... absolutely nothing.
“when all it would take is a couple of decent CLEARLY WORDED and informational PRs to keep things good.”
And PR ... what? “We have a deal with Adidas if we can actually deliver a ton of silk”. That won’t work. Maybe would short term. (See moon parka, ugly tie, spiber dress, Kraig glove)
I’ve no doubt there are business partners that could form a line blocks long that are waiting for silk. I’ve no doubt these partners have ALL told Kim that as soon as he can ship, they’re ready. ... seriously... no doubt in my mind on that.
But I’d guess that most don’t want a PR with their name in it until production is proved to their satisfaction.
And as much as I’d like kblb to be named in a PR with adidas, Kim has said he has one chance to get this right. I agree. Let’s have production in place and proved to the broader market that Kraig is not an also-ran.
“where was the army?...he didn't mention them at all...”
Yes. But... not an exhaustive list. And was only from within the last year. Weak. I know.
I think the military news is non existent for the same reason the “powder keg” of news isn’t detonating... all these announcements are awaiting delivery. Delivery is waiting for production. Production is waiting for a running factory. Running factory is waiting for money. Money is waiting for financing.
I am not worried. Yes, today sucks. But Kim has bed caught up in red tape with the VN gang for quite some time.
Sounds like that nightmare could be over... hence the talk of finance/RS/uplist & shareholder vote.
Think things are going well... just going to need nerves of steel before this launches.
That would be nice it the Vietbank deal were PRd. If it was in fact a finance deal.
Maybe the bank only financed that security guard that luvsilk met yesterday.
Sorry... too soon for jokes?
I think if he had something to PR right now, he would. It would have been far less effort than the letters to shareholders.
As much as I wanted and appreciate the pics from Luvsilk yesterday, I think anyone who thought Kim was very close to proving production capacity any time soon had their hopes destroyed.
Back to my argument about what a goo manufacturer may say to a VC to assure him that Kraig is not a viable competitor... “KBLB? Here are the latest pics of his production facility”.
They could have a good laugh. And maybe joke about how our accountants will probably “fix” it all on paper.
See why perception matters everyone? Vote AGAINST M&K. Let’s fix what we can.
I’d imagine that Kim is wanting to save the share price. Unfortunately, based on the ghost town photos posted yesterday, I’m not sure what he can PR.
I’m sure he has loads of things that will be coming soon, I’m thinking he won’t be able to PR the vast majority of it til he’s got some product delivered.
Hopefully the Oompa Loompas will be arriving soon to get the production cranking.
I think the great communicator had better start doing some great communicating to the market and not just the faithful.
I’ve always thought algo trading would be interesting to try. But I’m not skilled enough to place the complex trade and haven’t cared enough to learn it. Lol
It’s probably worth the effort though. I’m sure day traders would benefit. I can’t imagine many algo traders are trading KBLB due to liquidity issues. Could be wrong though. Could be amateur algo traders. Don’t know.
I plead ignorance. I need to learn it. Not much of a technicals guy though. But algo trading is growing and it could certainly make those profitable who take the time to get skilled at it. Might create self fulfilling prophecies if everyone trades using some similar school of thought.
“Once investors realize their stop losses have kicked in, they usually buy back their securities,...”
Algo trading doesn’t work that way I don’t think. If a flurry of buying by non algo traders causes a reversal, THEN the algo traders will get back in. Not because they changed their minds, but because the trend reversed.
For those who don’t know, algo trading is just a fancy way of putting in orders based on market conditions.
e.g. sell my position when the 50 period EMA crosses the 100 and the volume is above X. It’s done by a computer. So the algo traders aren’t sitting there watching. The computer is.
If others see the great buying opportunity and quickly buy up the cheap shares, that may send the 50 period EMA back above the 100 and the algo trader may have an automatic order there to get back in.
At least that’s how I understand algo trading. Emotionless trading done by computers based on set parameters. I could very well be wrong. It’s interesting though.
“but we need to associate with the best moving forward whenever we are financially able. IMHO”
Yes. Exactly my point. We’ve no reason to approve M&K. It was good to see that Yank agrees with voting against M&K as well. And for the same concerns we have.
Well we all know who Jethro is.
Whoops. That reply was for you.
