Seems to be an ever growing body of familiar faces and goals, AND, if one has paid attention to the previous statements made by our principals, I think one could safely say that there appears to be evidence of a budding consortium... What was it you prefaced your post with Mark? Oh yes- synergy, yep, that's it. :)
Thanks Mark. As always, your leg work impresses me!

EARNINGS:
http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/040114/phw018_1.html
Net sales for Company increased 43% to $16,434,795 from $11,496,723 in the fiscal 2003. As a result, the company will post a profit of $1,242,231.46 or approximately $.055 per share versus a loss of $1,802,664 or -$0.10 per share in 2002. Gross margin increased as a percentage of sales to 45.2% from 31.3% in the comparable last year for two primary reasons: improved utilization of network capabilities resulting in a reduction in the cost of traffic, and the continued emphasis on our prepaid calling services as part of the Company's strategic focus. Further, operating expenses as a percent of sales decreased to 34.9% from 42.2% in the same period last year due in large part to both a decrease in Marketing and Selling expenses...
Traders began in earnest today in staking out their positions. ;)
Dave,
I've not seen or heard from "Mickey" for quite some time. If I recall correctly, he was a little miffed at the speed at which DNAP was unfolding and, if I'm not mistaken, has bailed in favor of "greener pastures". I do think he intended, however, to keep his finger on the pulse just in case...
I repeat, the above is MHO based on memory (an aging memory at that)
Theo
Wecap, Get'n an early start on New Year's eve r'ya?
Cartas25,
Thank you for confirming DNAP's ever growing global following ;)
Theo
Nice job A57TBird! Bag8ger comments on RB that you may have preempted a possible PR concerning the same issue. I concur or you may have forced their hand instead. Either way, nice "end-around" for a heads-up!
Theo
Mjam,
Rest assured, TD has no more control over this stock than you or I. ;)
O.K. thanks for the replies folks ;) Still no luck for me. I can access RB and bring up anything including mail, but, when I click on any of my boardmarks, they come up in ASCII characters only...
Theo
Chig,
Thanks, but I find that IE works just fine so it must be Netscape is the culprit :(:( I hate IE!!! {I've got version 7.1 to boot!} What gives?
Theo
Anybody else having trouble getting RB? Every time I click on the DNAP link there I get nothing but a lot of Ascii code??? Tia
Theo;-(
itsonlymuni,
What's your point? That Tony has been selling shares to cover expenses until funding arrived? The Form 4 link you provided is not only old, but, has already been acknowledged and accepted as "fact" by everyone. Is there something additionally relevant in the already known Form 4 filing that you are trying to bring to our attention?
Theo
No disrespect intended spinbull, but, if you're looking for entry/exit strategies then there a several chartists on RB who would be more than willing to share their prognostications with you. Here, you are going to find {for the most part ;)} just good 'ol plain top notch DD and discussion. On the other hand, if you're asking {me/others} if this is a good time to buy, then I'd venture a guess that most if not all would tell you that at this level DNAP is a great bargain. Hope this helps.

Foreign markets aren't closed today...
I dunno Chris, I'm still trying to understand the volume that came in late last week. I'm not entirely sure that it was due to Nightline solely. Add the fact that Keiden keeps eluding to something about or around Thanksgiving and we find that the end of the day tomorrow we move higher. Who knows?
Theo
Yep, I did catch that, but, I was concentrating so hard on trying to pick up everything, that it didn't even hit me until you pointed it out to me. lol! It's after midnite here and it was a long day at work to boot. I did tape it so I can go over it again tomorrow.
They did touch (topically) on the fact that DNA has been used in forensics- I wished they could have gone into more detail of DNAP's involvement of the same but I understand that it wasn't really the topic at hand.
Very interesting topic- AND VERY nice slow camera pan of DNAP and annunciation of DNA Print Genomics. All in all, I think it was well done. Did you notice that the gentleman of topic stated that he took the test "based on seeing a previous T.V. news program highlighting DNAP" ??? :)
Chig,
Yep, it'll be an interesting Nightline tonite. I still think that revenues are the only thing that will sustain us, but, the additional exposure may produce a few more longs in the interim. Certainly can't hurt. Validation is what this all really means to me tho-
Theo
Wild ride at the end here still came back up to close @ .064/.066 with 42379523 shares moving... Not bad for a prelim.
Dang! Wrong, the dogs only gave me a partial fill then upped the Ask...:(
Just snatched another 25k @ .063
Bid is getting tapped hard at the moment- still appears we will close to the high. Not a bad sign.
40 was no problem but we bounced off the day's high a minute ago .
Looks like 40 mil is a no-brainer...
Also be interesting to see if we break 40 mil on volume...
Would portend a possible gap come Monday if it did...
Looks like we may yet close at the high (or new high) for the day...
O.K. Seriousguy :) fair enough, but, one last question. Is this gentleman the same "contact" you have intimated to in the past? TIA
Theo
Hello Seriousguy, I can see why he would like what DNAP is doing- I perused the website via the link Ann provided- impressive. This gentleman appears to be well regarded academically and well traveled as well i.e., International Forensic Research and Consulting. Very interesting website to say the least. The man obviously is well versed in forensics.
Now just what is the connection between he an Dr. Frudakis...umm?
Theo
The government finally got serious yesterday about DNAP's "forte":
Genetically tailored drugs on the horizon
By Lauran Neergaard
The Associated Press
WASHINGTON- some people's genes make them uniquely susceptable to a drug's side effects or immune to its benefits. Now the government wants to see drug companies' research into this new science, a small step toward customizing medication.
A science called pharmacogenomics aims one day to replace some of today's one-dose-fits-all culture with gene tests to help tailor prescriptions to each patient's DNA.
The FDA issued draft guidlines on Monday that urge drug companies to share with the gov't more of the pharmacogenomic data they have begun gathering when studying new medicines. Some data will be required when companies seek approval of a new medicine, and some will be voluntary and used by the FDA merely to keep up with the new field, said the agnecy's drug chief, Janet Woodcock.

SPAL News this afternoon: Spantel Posts Earnings of $0.0301 Per Share for First Nine Months
http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/031016/phth047_1.html
Third profitable quarter in a row with positive earnings...
SPAL news:
http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/031016/phth047_1.html
"...earnings for the first nine months of 2003 of $0.0301 per share on net income of $666,352 and $12,209,419 in revenues, compared to a loss of $2,520,769 or -$0.116 per share on revenues of $7,908,319 in 2002."
This is the third quarter in a row of profitability.
Maybe some acquisitions in the offing now too??
"...According to Spantel's president, Jose Ramon Basterra, "This has been a fabulous year for our company and for our shareholders. Our dramatically improved financial condition has put Spantel in a very good position to negotiate the acquisition of some smaller telecom providers who have not yet attained profitability."
They're not out of the woods yet imo, but, I have a hard time turning my back on a penny stock that is showing positive earnings and revenue growth. Fourth quarter results should provide a better clue as to Spantel's viability AND ability to maintain growth. If they can pull off these acquisitions...WHAAaaaaaaaaat!! :)
Theo
Since you asked I'll give you my two cent's worth...
Both Retro and Cowboyd have expressed what I'm sure is a common feeling among most of us- well said and thought out IMO. I concur fully. In fact, I'm reminded of a saying that a poster on another thread I've followed for years now is quite fond of stating: "Dance, but, dance close to the door." Only in my case (recently) I've amended that saying to "Hang out just outside the door and wait til the band plays something I like."
Besides, it's hard to get hurt from falling if you're already in the basement...
Theo
Catalyst Comm is (was) the old shell that DNAP merged into back in '99 or there 'bouts. The ticker was CLYC back then tho I thought...

ARKONA Announces Consecutive Quarters of Record Revenues, Earnings
Wednesday October 8, 9:00 am ET
SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 8, 2003--ARKONA Inc. (OTCBB:ARKN - News), the leader in Web-enabled dealer management solutions for the automobile industry, today announced its second consecutive quarter of record revenues and profitability.
For its second fiscal quarter ending Sept. 30, 2003, the company reported earnings of $137,442 on revenues of $1,235,890, as compared to a loss of ($365,101) on revenues of $914,583 for the same period last year.
"We continue to strengthen our balance sheet through debt reduction and accumulations of cash and cash equivalents," said Stephen Russo, chief financial officer. "Achieving record revenues is very satisfying to the management team, but we're even more encouraged by the fact that earnings are increasing at an even faster pace. This reflects significant increases in personal productivity and leveraging of company assets."
"The strong growth ARKONA is experiencing is a reflection of the accelerated adoption of our unequalled Web-enabled dealer management solution," said Alan Rudd, chief executive officer. "Our business model is correctly targeted and our sales, engineering and customer service teams are consistently meeting established levels of performance. All signs point to significant ARKONA market share gains through the third and fourth quarters and into the next fiscal year."
To keep pace with customer demand for its Internet-based dealer management solutions, ARKONA continues to invest in its infrastructure. Partnering with IBM, the company recently added a fifth IBM iSeries system to its state-of-the-art hosting facility in Salt Lake City. The new IBM model 810 will increase ARKONA's growth capacity by more than 2,000 customer connections.
