Man that does bring back memories <g> Best play I ever made was when I was totally clueless and actually bought INFE in the 0.11-0.19 range based on Gary aka Gabard's DD {low float- good business plan- etc.,.} before I found out that Joe {TexMex} and his group was front loading and getting ready to run it {which they did}. They got it up to several dollars if memory serves... all I know is I was fat, happy, and dumb for awhile. ;);)
CMKX- I guess I'm worth at least a $million$ now!! lol! From the "JAIL" at IHUB:

Part B: From the readback after Bruce had summarized his report to Gosh.
Bruce has a cousin who has good friend who knows a broker friend in NY.
That friend asked broker if anyone can become rich on a penny stock. (CMKX had not been mentioned to this point in time.)
Believe it or not people do she said.
Broker said she is aware of a stock that would do just that for the shareholders - Make them wealthy.
Friend: What stock would that be?
Broker: CMKX.
He said I own that and nothing has happened to date.
Broker said from her sources, all a person would need is a million shares and they would become a multi millionaire.
All they would need is a signed interpleader, she said.
To her knowledge interpleader had not been signed as of last Friday. (But she said it could have been, and she just had not heard about it.)

Just say the word my friend and I will forward to you all the secret savvy undiscovered next Microsoft investor emails you desire. As an added bonus, I will include some others {for the discerning male} that will help with that "not measuring up in the shorts" problem, or, if meeting Russian girls is more to your liking, perhaps you would rather chat with "...Katrina who is looking for an American {or Canadian} partner...". Maybe you would rather free up some cash and refinance with your $758,495,954,334,158,000 pre-approved mortgage? {at 6.28% APR!!}
I've got others that are in languages that I don't understand but you're welcome to those as well Jim. Like I said- just give me the word... ;)

Not sure myself bag8ger- it sure is quite the biography tho. They even list all the employee options that were granted but only for the calender year 2005. It reads more like the 'K' for 2005 then a 'Q' for the quarter...?
To be honest, I don't DD much here anymore. I'm notified by Edgar every time a SEC doc is issued, and, of course, I get news as it's issued but I'm following/tracking/buying and selling too many other stocks and options {mostly Calls although I will play a Put now and then}. I have a core position that I acquired over the years by selling my trading shares a year or so ago. {I still like the science - just not sure whether or not our [you, me, and the others that bought in during the early days] generation of investors will reap the benefits- We've already had our first investment diluted significantly with a R/S}. I keep DNAG's ticker along with all my other equities I'm keeping tabs on in the aforementioned services so that I'm at least kept abreast of the business aspect and that's all I pretty much have time for {for the time being}. Like I said, I like the science and I have no doubt that many will be rich off from it... someday. Until then, I'm just glancing over every now and then. :)

AVPI-- I peeled some back and will keep this one on my "Watch List" late Winter for early Spring consideration based on this excerpt from a prior PR:
"...During the course of the entire year, the majority of AVP's revenues are derived from sponsorship and advertising contracts with national and local sponsors and advertisers along with local event revenue and ancillary revenue. The Company's beach volleyball tournament season customarily begins in early April and continues through late September or early October and AVP recognizes sponsorship and advertising revenue as well as event costs during the tour, as events occur. As a result, the majority of AVP's revenues will be recognized in the second and third quarters of the calendar year."

I agree- too bad you can't buy some Dec calls on it instead... :(

Jefferies & Co. Analyst Downgrades 4 Natural Gas Companies on Excess Capacity
http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/060717/natural_gas_ahead_of_the_bell.html?.v=2
NEW YORK (AP) -- Jefferies & Co. analyst Judson E. Bailey on Monday downgraded four natural gas companies to "Hold" from "Buy" because of uncertainty about natural gas prices and a spate of new drilling rigs entering the market.
Bailey downgraded Grey Wolf Inc., Patterson-UTI Energy Inc., Pioneer Drilling Co., and Union Drilling Inc. Natural gas companies are expanding drilling capacity, Bailey said, which could lead to a "perpetual overhang" as the market worries about excess production.
Bailey maintained a "Buy" rating on Bronco Drilling Co. and Nabors Industries Ltd. because of superior growth prospects.
Bought some more contracts {PDC December's} just this past week... ;)

PDC Pioneer Drilling
Nice article indeed:
"...But the price of natural gas, which is around $6 per million British thermal units -- down from around $15 last fall -- is likely to rise again in the winter, the weekly said.
Excellent fundamentals, no debt, beat Wallstreet expectations last Q, and has garnered a couple of more contracts through 2007-8... Currently trading just off its 52 week low. $2 on the downside and $10 on the upside- what's not to like? :)
I chomped on some 12.50 and 15.00 calls for July. Sept AND Dec...
See what happens I guess.

DNAPrint Genomics Updates First Quarter Business Activity
Tuesday May 30, 7:00 am ET
SARASOTA, FL--(MARKET WIRE)--May 30, 2006 -- DNAPrint Genomics, Inc. (OTC BB:DNAG.OB - News) President and Chief Executive Officer Richard Gabriel today reported significant progress and heightened activity in all of the Company's business units during the first quarter ended March 31, 2006.
"Our DNAPrint Pharmaceuticals, Inc. subsidiary continued to move forward with the development of PT-401, a 'Super EPO' (erythropoietin) dimer protein drug for treatment of anemia in renal dialysis patients, the Company's first drug, and we experienced a considerable revenue increase in our genotyping services and legacy ancestry business with our ANCESTRYbyDNA(TM) product," Mr. Gabriel stated.
Revenues in the first quarter of 2006 increased 181% to $678,000, compared with $241,000 in the corresponding period a year ago. Most of the increase was attributable to the Company's ANCESTRYbyDNA products and the Company's genotyping services. "Our newly acquired Canadian subsidiary, Ellipsis Biotherapeutics, contributed $227,000 in genotyping revenues," Mr. Gabriel said. "Also, ANCESTRYbyDNA received coverage in many national media outlets, which increased interest in our technology. Although growth in the current second quarter is not continuing at the same high first-quarter rate for our genotyping services, we anticipate that ANCESTRYbyDNA will continue to be a popular product for the remainder of 2006 and beyond."
There is also growing awareness of the Company's forensics technology, Mr. Gabriel said. DNAWITNESS(TM) was the subject of a workshop in February 2006 at the annual meeting of the prestigious American Academy of Forensic Science in Seattle and is being utilized in 109 criminal investigations around the world.
Looking toward the future, Mr. Gabriel noted that research and development expenses in the first quarter of 2006 were approximately $2.0 million compared with $302,000 in the corresponding year-ago period. "A major component of the Company's business strategy is investing significant financial resources in DNAPrint Pharmaceuticals and the development of new drugs," he said.
"'Theranostic' test/drug combinations based on a patient's genetic constitution are designed to increase efficacy and reduce side effects and are at the forefront of a new era in pharmaceuticals. We are vigorously pursuing development with pharmcogenomic products," Mr. Gabriel added. "We believe that significant investments in pharmacogenomics research and development is a key to long-term success for our Company."
Mr. Gabriel also noted some of DNAPrint Genomics' accomplishments since the first of the year. The Company:
-- Announced in March that research to develop DNA Pharmaceuticals' lead
product, PT-401, a more powerful form of the drug Erythropoietin (EPO) for
the treatment of anemia, was showing promising early results.
-- Completed a computational model for PT-401 called EPOFusion(TM), which
is being used as a preclinical guide in preparation for an Investigative
New Drug (IND) application for PT-401 with the U.S. Food and Drug
Administration (FDA).
-- Selected KBI BioPharma, Inc. to be the Company's Good Manufacturing
Practices (GMP) manufacturer for PT-401.
-- Continues to work with its European business partner, Biofrontera AG
of Leverkusen, Germany, which has a number of drugs in its product
pipeline. DNAPrint Genomics holds an 18% stake in Biofrontera.
-- Entered into a research agreement with the Massachusetts College of
Pharmacy and Health Sciences for development of Ritalin(TM)-like compounds
for the treatment of drug abuse, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder
(ADHD), and depression.
-- Began collaboration with SeraCare Life Sciences, Inc. of Cambridge,
Mass. on a project designed to improve treatment of patients with ovarian
cancer.
-- Received approval of a patent that protects the Company's methods of
identifying links between gene sequences and physical or medical traits.
DNAPrint now holds two patents and has several other patents pending or
being prepared by patent counsel.
"DNAPrint Genomics has a portfolio of established products in our ancestry and forensics business units. The development of pharmacogenomic drugs adds a new dimension to the Company," Mr. Gabriel concluded. "With this in mind, we believe that DNAPrint Genomics is well-positioned for future growth and has set the stage for increasing the Company's value."

You make a good point Vern. However, I think those clowns lost touch with reality {not unlike Lay & Skilling} and began to think that they were invincible. As such, they started toying with companies with bigger pocketbooks i.e., OSTK whose doing almost a billion $ in revenue {even though the rest of the fundamentals look weak} and finally somebody i.e., OSTK, with a few bucks of their own to back them up said enough is enough. Interesting to see how this pans out. Again I agree you are correct- "big money" has influence, but, I think this may be a fight in which the hedge funds/investment banks bit off more than they can chew imo. You can't continue biting the hand{s} that feed you without facing the consequences.

I'm liking it... :) ALL of oil and related doing well. I'm playing some May calls in the oil drillers and they are running away too :) SELA had a nice pop and extra volume today but I haven't seen or heard anything. Just speculation or anticipation?
Theo
Finally took the "Cramer plunge" today and bought a position. Chart looks too good to pass up. I think at this level there's not enough room for a significant price pullback OR enough time to wait for a better entry point considering the oil situation today- or for the foreseeable future for that matter. GLTA
Theo
Took a little drubbing today :( Thinking that a lot of "tech" got touched by the move in oil today. I've got a wad of call options {$7.00} for May. Hoping the earnings call goes out before the expiration date. Oh, and also counting blow-out numbers courtesy of Cramer. :)
Theo
Bought a bunch of oil options today too- {only thing that kept me "green"}
Thanks for the clarification Vern. Makes more sense than what I could gather from it.
I have to admit I have never heard of an agreement like this before:
"DUTCHESS MAY SHORT SELL OUR STOCK DURING THE PERIODS WE ISSUE A PUT WHICH MAY CAUSE OUR STOCK PRICE TO DECREASE."
Does anyone here understand what the company means by "issue a put"??
I play options {buying both calls AND puts} and I've never seen DNAG listed in the options chains. I have to say that at first glance, it sure sounds like the company would reap mucho $$ if they buy puts and Dutchess shorts it- OFCOURSE the price would drop. Anyone?
It was going to happen sooner or later...
