What is wrong with you?
Would you sleep better at night if Raf included "plus or minus a few weeks"?
Anyone enrolled in Reduce It is not living in the outback or on some remote desert island. And it's probably safe to say that the patients aren't engaging in any activities - like paddling the boundary waters - that would keep them out of contact with their medical care providers. In other words, the percentage of patients that would not be in a setting where an event would or could not be reported within a few days is so small that to suggest that this creates a significant unknown in estimating events is laughable. Oh, and even if the event isn't reported immediately, doesn't mean it didn't happen.
I hope your third grade grammar teacher doesn't read your posts! And as smart as you think you may be, writing skills do matter.
When they could have hired you for a fraction of the price!
Re: Granowitz. Kind of funny.

Buy a boat load of Amarin stock and when the ship comes in...
Great! An Omegavia sales rep. Just what we need on the board!
You have to wait until Watson appeal period expires (1/24). Even you should understand that.
Do you recall what happened to the stock price on the day of the NCE announcement? And the days that followed? The only reason that NCE hasn't supported the stock price is because it hasn't been granted - yet. Everyone with half a memory knows how long the FDA delayed the initial decision and with everything else that has gone on with the company, it should be clear that the NCE bounce will only happen when it is signed, sealed and delivered. And of course you think this delay is the fault of management.
5. Resolution of the bogus investors' lawsuit.
Nobody really knows, especially you and your girl Mogwash. Actually, that's not true. I'm confident that a number of people at Amarin know what communication has taken place with interested BP suitors. That statement is more truthful than any of the inflammatory remarks made by either of you. Now, run along, your cage is clean!
Again, you don't know what BP is doing, do you?
And just to be clear, you have absolutely no knowledge of any communication that may be or has taken place between management and BP. Am I right?
"Because people here clearing have comprehension issues."
Thanks professor! In your next lecture, could you spend a little time explaining your investment thesis for this company? I'm confused. You say that Reduce It is a "crap shoot", yet you claim to be a stakeholder. I'm sure that's not a contradiction for an intelligent investor, but I would like to hear your explanation. But, if you're a gambler, rolling the dice, you probably don't need to waste your time arguing with everybody on the board!
Like I said!
You have to be somebody's ex-wife. For the sake of mankind, give it a rest!
I doubt it's ever come up when he has his annual review!
Mogwash must be sleeping!
Not if you lose every time you step foot in a courtroom!
Poster child for bitter loser investors!
Curious if new positions or replacing reps that quit.
No, BB, it starts as soon as Mogwash stops posting on this board! Mog, don't deny us.
Happy New Year, Freak!
JL - Come on. I'm entitled to at least one conspiracy theory per year, aren't I? As long as I have your eye, I wanted to ask you about your recent DES post. You said that Vascepa reduced your DES problem along with other issues, but did you start the Vascepa specifically for the DES? And how did you come to believe that Vascepa would solve the problem? Is there a mechanism of action that explains what it does? The reason I ask, is I have had lasik twice and most recently (2015) torn/detached retina surgery, a cataract surgery resulting from the retina surgery and then a follow up retina surgery to remove some scar tissue from the original tear/detachment and surgery. All of the so called anti-inflammatory eye drops have created more DES problems than I had pre-lasik, and am having to add artificial tears multiple times a day. I want to suggest a Vascepa prescription if it will help with with the DES and potentially the persistent inflammation in the back of the eye, but I wasn't sure if my ophthalmologists would dismiss my request. So, is there a simple way to say what I need to say?
But, during that 10 month appeal process, the FDA had yet to experience the butt puckering smackdowns that came with the NCE and 1A cases. Perhaps Amarin is taking this time to gently remind the FDA of these many opportunities and compromises that they were so quick to dismiss!
Then do something about it! Write letters, make phone calls, visit headquarters, talk to your other big investor counterparts. Or, just stay here and bang on your high chair with dish soap about how bad management is and how they really need to go.
In other words, to paraphrase Jim Morrison, Amarin's been down so god damned long, that it looks like up to them!
LA, you sound like one of these guys that signed onto the investors' lawsuit and you're upset that it didn't pan out - no evidence of the silly claims so you rail against management along with dish soap and others.
Maybe you should talk to the Baker Brothers. I'm sure you have a lot in common!
Are Doctors hesitant to write scripts knowing there is some uncertainty regarding the 1A lawsuit? That is, if there is no settlement that solidifies everything Amarin's reps are currently using to educate the doctors and the case goes to trial with Amarin coming out with nothing or perhaps significantly less than what they have with the PI, would that cause the doctors to rethink their script writing and in anticipation of something Ike that happening, are doctors just taking a wait and see attitude before they write the scripts? Also wonder how much the competition (e.g., generic Lovaza) uses these scare tactics in their sales presentations.
All part of the same tribe.
Aren't you the guy that said, just last week, that Kowa would buy out Amarin for $10 if interim was <30%? If you were right then, why should we care if the price drops to $1.50?
Why is that liberals are so quick to start name calling? You told me to guess what happened to the generic lawsuit by ending your sentence with a question mark. Since I'm so clueless, why don't you inform me about the "generic lawsuits"? And yes, that is a question. And when you've finished schooling me about the generic lawsuits, let me know how Amarin is doing with the investor lawsuit.
I guess I missed that 8-k. Did it come out the same day the investor lawsuit was dropped?
Winning the NCE case? The judge threw out the FDA's initial decision and remanded the case back to the FDA for further review. A win would have been the FDA being told to issue the NCE by the end of the week or face sanctions. The FDA gets a do over. They have nothing but time and my tax dollars to work with and my bet is that they are working every possible angle to justify denying NCE again. Now, for those who say it doesn't matter because they aren't accepting any ANDAs and that effectively grants NCE to Amarin, I would simply say that the issue here is lack of certainty - that nagging little issue that Wall Street banks on.
As for the 1A case, I've seen this tactic many times. The senior partner goes to court, gets the initial ruling and the client, all giddy, gets sucked into to process. There is no significant outcome other than the law firm's billings for the amount of time that it takes to wear Amarin down and agree to settle - you know, the old settle just to settle ploy! And again, that old lack of certainty issue keeps popping up.
Oh, but I'd love to be proven wrong!
There is no evidence based on what the company has said, but in particular because of its well established track record, that anything of substance will result from these extended settlement discussions. But if you have information that proves otherwise, I'm all ears!
"What would they gain if they would not allow these delays to take place??"
Maybe some respect!
Did you retire when Lifestyle went under or did you join another practice?
Three reasons:
1. Fish Oil stigma. They might have a better chance if EPA was a derivative of fruitcake!
2. Trust. No thanks to JZ, the company is suffering from broken promises and a lot of people - retail and institutional investors - got burned. So, they stay away.
3. FDA. Who knows what the FDA might pull next?
Frankly, these unresolved legal issues just remind everyone of the past bullshit and until the company can produce something that really amazes, the PPS will tread water!
