This is the only pink sheet stock I ever bought...
I have no idea what the rules are for these companies (if there are any)...
I worked for companies that were NYSE/NASDAQ listed....they had "windows" for insiders...
Except insiders have "windows" that allow them to buy/sell...
They can't just do it anytime they want...
Dude....
I don't remember how far it was for you, but if it's 10 minutes, they can't stop you from driving by to see if there are CNN trucks there...
It's still a free country...
But, hey...I'm not trying to spend your gas money....
Why don't we just wait?
They'll still be time to have all those negative feelings if it doesn't play out right...
I can't be bothered with the bashers....
My focus is on seeing/hearing definitive progress...
Lately, the mood has changed...
I wait for good news....
I don't think I heard Ron9 say CNN was/wasn't going to be there..
Geez...you guys can riff on the smallest thing...
You might be reading that it isn't a public demo means that it isn't going to be on the wires from CNN...
I seem to remember Cap's post saying something about a documentary...
Did anyone consider that this might not be a CNN news byte anytime in the next three days?....it might be a special piece on biofuels for all we know...
Some posters on RB are already complaining pps isn't moving on the PR alone...
I think we should prepare ourselves that pps won't necessarily be moving over the next three days....that way, if it doesn't, we don't get too ahead of ourselves...
I know us longs are salivating given our frustrations, but let's just see what actually happens instead of speculating (uh, er no relation to speckulater) ... ;)
DH...
Thanks for sharing information...
With posts like yours, we have a chance here at IHub to link investors together to share what is happening in different quarters...
While you spoke to Fisher, others have spoken to Rivera or Paisano at Redwood or other players where questions can be answered...
That is the real aim of this board...to link investors to information, good or bad, so that investors can make more informed decisions...
I applaud this effort and others who continue down that road...
I, myself, had forgotten that this wasn't the whiner board...instead of posting my doubts, I started asking questions...that will ultimately lead to more questions...even some posturing with management and investor relations that as investors, we need more information about what is going on, what is planned, when is it expected to happen, etc...
Thanks again....
Was there a question in there?....or a statement?...
I guess I'm not sure if you're complaining about the pps or thinking it's a bargain buy...
Yes...Redwood is Redwood Consultants...Paisano plays things pretty close to the vest so as to not violate securities laws, and I understand that, but I underscored how, as investors, we OWN parts of these companies and would like more information....he understood...
I would agree...I wasn't holding JR to the Monday (6/11/07) timeframe for DOE results, but it would be nice if it didn't take much longer for this news...
The total O/S for SSTP, as I understand it, is 1.3 billion...
I expect to keep pounding Redwood for information and if possible, JR himself....
The more information we have, the better...
Just spoke to Paisano from Redwood...
Don't read ANYTHING into this, but figured I'd let you know what I know...
He's going to be in Natchez next Tue-Thu with Rivera and the "crowd" from Biocentric...
I asked him about the Natchez Democrat article and the report of 15 reactors...he has no other information right now other than what we have from the same article...but, I reminded him he will be in Natchez next week and we investors would like to know...
Same goes for the moving of the reactors...asked him if timeframe has been defined...he says he has no update on that either...reminded him we'd like to know...
Told me USSE holds 640-650 million shares of SSTP in the USSE treasury as part of the initial deal for SSTP to use the Rivera Process...
No update yet from the DOE that he knows of in regards to the fuel Rivera et al sent on 6/1/07...
Asked him why we're not seeing PR on the sale of fuel to the tugboat company...we think it would be pretty important...agrees with me, but he does not know why it has not been released...he has no details (at least that he will give me) on the deal itself...
Unfortunately, he got called to a meeting and we had to cut our call short, but I will continue to ask follow-up questions...
Like I said, I wouldn't read any of this information positive or negative at this point....
But, we need to, as a consolidated group of investors, continue to look for answers and report accurately what we learn...or see...
Bashers, bash away...I have you all on ignore...I can't be bothered anymore listening to the negativity...
Investors/traders, try to keep shirt on....Just like you, I'm chomping on the bit to see progress...we're getting some...like I said, let's present a united front to getting and sharing information....
Anybody close heading over to Natchez in the near future?
Gee, I hope this guy doesn't try to get a company off the ground...
Look at all the naysayers underneath the article... ;)
Remind you of anybody?
YOU?...the head cheerleader?....having an anxiety attack?
Larry....say it ain't so !!!! ;)
Nov...while Al may be "correct" about the June 14th groundbreaking in Illinois, doesn't the negativity of that get reversed if you find OUR management backed off the deal because it wasn't going right?...
Keep reading here because I'll be the first one to say I've been beating that drum (about PRs that don't get realized), but wouldn't you rather OUR management back out of a deal that doesn't make sense rather than push forward just to make sure a PR "comes true"?...
I know there have been a lot of missteps and I have been critical of them here on IHub...I haven't suddenly turned into the new head cheerleader...I will continue to ask questions and look for confirmation of progress and results....
But I don't think I would criticize management if, after seeing the landmine right in front of them, chose to step carefully around it rather than take the shrapnel...
That's just me....
Let's face it, if management presses a deal that ultimately goes sour, wouldn't we as shareholders be mad as hell?...
I accepted JR's explanation of why Illinois is tabled for now...if I don't believe that, then I need to hit the sell button....
Dude....I read about that too...maybe my choice of a rollercoaster analogy was unfortunate?.... :)
Then again, I thought your analogy of "turning the power" on was pretty good too... :)
I'm voting we are mental midgets... :)
Look, Paul....fact is early PRs of some stuff didn't materialize and hurt investor confidence...
Now, and I'll speak for myself, we are getting a whiff of something good just around the corner....we are sitting in the rollercoaster and it hasn't left the platform yet and we can't wait to hit that first drop with our arms in the air and screaming at the top of our lungs...
So...I stay seated with harness on...
I think we all want the ride...
Keep shirt on...
Maybe it's around the corner...
I think at this point, if all the gears are going to finally lock in place, all of this will take care of itself...
And if they don't (gears don't lock in place), we'll know soon enough...
I'm giving them some time to deliver....
That is good news...thanks
Yeah..just read that at RB...
Thanks
I would think, as USSE/SSTP shareholders, we'd be happy that a third party was making the press releases as independent confirmation...
I should say, however,....this is good news
"Until our Iowa facility is operational, the unique blending component generated by the Rivera Hydrolysis/Pyrolysis Solution will be manufactured in Natchez..."
Does this mean they are NOT moving the four tubes for now?
Maybe that's what we longs need to do...stop watching every tick...
Maybe we'll wake up one morning and find our "toddler" went through a growth spurt....
Yes...I posted that link too....
Just wondered where the actual number of shares came up...
Thanks for your response...
Well, I went back on IHub to research where the "600 million shares of SSTP in USSE's treasury" came from...
Without going through every single post, it seems it starts with Larry (larice) in post 40559...and again in post 40564 (also by larice)
MS Blue Sky, you asked for source in post 40582 and Larry (larice) responds in post 40590 (he refers to a corporate resolution)...
Sackmeister refers to it in post 41375 and it is again mentioned by MS Blue Sky in post 41447 and finally (as far as I can see) by speckulater in post 41708...
So..back to Larry (larice)...did you actually see the corporate resolution you referred to or is there a link that would document the 600 million shares of SSTP to USSE?...
If it was posted before, my apologies, but now that MS Blue Sky has brought it up (and I've been touting the specific shares in my posts apparently using your post as my source), could you please supply the source of your statement?
Thanks

Excerpt:
As the exclusive provider of USSEC biofuel, derived from USSEC's bio-waste by-products, Sustainable Power Corp. (SSTP) will compensate USSEC with restricted shares of SSTP common stock that USSEC will place in the treasury of USSEC.
The shareholders of USSEC potentially will benefit from this transaction through the anticipated appreciation in the SSTP shares as sales of the biofuel commence to the power generation markets. It is expected that the shareholders of SSTP will benefit from the sale of electricity and fuel, as well as the Green Certificates and/or Emission Reduction Credits they may receive from the appropriate state and/or federal governmental agencies for supplying its clean energy solutions.
----as far as the 600 million number, I believe it was posted here...I thought it was in the above announcement, but that doesn't show the number of shares...
Let's not forget that USSE holds 600 million shares of SSTP......
If SSTP takes off, don't you think those shares might be worth something ?
Ding...
Don't be confused...I referred to them as tubes...we are talking about the reactors...
Speck...
JR told me Illinois Biofuels is tabled for now...
I would take that off the list...
It seems the Biocentrics/Core Ventures JV is shaping up to be huge...
Yeah...that was settled...I posted it here earlier this morning...
This was posted in response to me at RagingBull...this is good news to me...I spouted off yesterday...now, I have to set the record straight...parsonmac does indeed appear to be one of us, another investor...as such his statements have credibility with me:
Hey mickeynu...
Just to set the record straight (since there are so many 'crooked' posters here) and since you brought it up, my name is Ray and I'm a minister of a church here in Petaluma, CA, 38 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge and about 12 miles north of Novato, where Redwood Consultants is located.
I was neither disappointed nor surprised that k-link and paper referred to me as Maximus and Robert respectively. I just wasn't going to dignify their arrogant goofballness with an answer. They either thought I was or thought I might be and went fishin'. But this is par for them...
It was great to meet Mr. Rivera and see Redwood in action. I've actually visited them twice before and they have a very impressive office full of people busier than one-legged River Dancers.
People who work as hard as they do are going to get lucky sooner or later (one would think)...
Good luck!
parsonmac
I stand corrected that FREEUS is the fifth tube...
JR did tell me barge on the Mississippi...
Paul...
Are you referring to my post?...
JR told me Houston shipped fuel (he used the word tanker) to a tugboat operator with 400 tugboats...he did not say (nor did I ask) where the tugboat company was operating...
Hopefully, we'll get a PR soon with more details (which I did not ask for)...
I think JR got ahead of himself here as he did with United Ethanol...
That he figured it out and sidestepped problems or avoided wasting investors money (and that's just how he put it to me...he didn't think it was a wise use of investors' money) is more important...
Speck...
My own personal experience with Mr. Davis posting on these boards is that he lacks credibility....others may differ...it's a free country...
I am not a basher, nor am I trying to help bashers...
I just want investors, investors who have money riding on the line like myself, to know who is posting what and not hiding behind a new moniker (remember, he was MaximusCommunications before)...
My moniker has been the same since day 1...and it's the same one now over at RB...
My name is Mike Nunez...I'm not hiding...if you see mickeynu, it's me...and if you think I'm posting either here or RB under another alias I can tell you now, I'm not...That's not how I operate...
As far as bashers, I must admit when I got to this board, I didn't think there could be such a thing in a penny stock...seemed that was more prevalent on Big Board/Naz stocks where short side traders would go on message boards and try to scare the bejesus out of long side investors all day long...I have nothing against short side traders who play by the rules...I have shorted positions on the Big Board/Naz myself from time to time based on technicals...If I'm right, I'm right...if not, I lose money...I'm not going to try and trick anyone into selling just like I'm not going to trick anyone into buying if I'm long..that's every investor's decision on how to play or not play a stock...
At first, I wanted to hear everyone's opinion..But, then you have to question the motives of those who don't have money riding on the line and tell you that they care about everyone else losing money....Sister Theresa they ain't...I posted that once I wised up and then put those I identified on ignore...
Look, there's a lot of frustration built up for investors over the last 6 months...Lack of information or information that did not come to fruition...
Obviously, I am not suggesting Mr. Davis is a pumper or basher...simply that the information he posted on this board led to a lot of dashed hopes when what he told us did not materialize....in other words, in my opinion, his posts lost credibility...that's only my opinion...while I was pumped when I read a re-post of what I thought was a fellow investor with the moniker "parsonmac", I was disappointed when it turned out to be Bob Davis...Maybe I'm all wrong about Bob, but I'm not betting the farm on anything HE says until he rebuilds credibility....
I also have to realize that some here or on RB may not think MY statements are credible...When I cool my jets, I understand...you don't know me personally...All I can tell you is I know ME...I'm not here to mislead or confuse...I'm here because I'm trying to make sure I have invested mine and my wife's hard-earned dough into a winner...along the way, if it helps, I'm trying to let you know what I know...
I have consistently posted that I do NOT believe USSE/SSTP are scams...I wouldn't have bothered a) calling Redwood for answers or b) posted on this board if I did think that...I would have quietly sold my position and walked away...nor did I make my post because I was trying to "trick" people into buying for my own short-sighted goals...I'm here either way...
But I do hold management accountable for the things they tell investors if they don't materialize...I do start to question whether they have the "goods" but not the experience to accomplish the goals...
After talking with JR yesterday, I felt better (and like I've posted before, I'm in whether it's golddust or just dust simply BECAUSE I don't think it's a scam)...
Others have posted about the company being new and making missteps...I understand that...all I'm looking for is direction and strategy and that investors can get a real sense of progress...toward that end, I felt I got some of my answers and wanted to share them with fellow investors. At the same time, I didn't want people to go overboard (and run and buy more) just because it appeared the clouds broke open for a moment with some positive info...there's still more work to be done...
That's all these boards should be for...a network of investors who can help each other figure out where our company is going...that we are on the right road...bashers exploit the uncertainty...
And I tell you...that is not my aim here...if you're an investor, stick it out and let's see how things progress...If investors are provided with enough information and see definitive progress, bashers here will be as extinct as the dinosaur...
It had been reported that JR took responsibility at the Natchez shindig for promises made, not kept (I paraphrase)...
I spoke to the man yesterday...that he took the time to call me back within 10 minutes, patiently discuss and answer my questions to my satisfaction for another 10-15 minutes...That's good enough for me...I look for confirmation of progress...
Ding...
as to the generating biofuel in Natchez, JR told me they were generating their own power using the fuel for the Natchez facility...I don't think I misunderstood him...I actually didn't ask that question...I asked him about the tubes being completed...he offered the information about generating power for the Natchez facility (as some have speculated earlier on this board)...
As to the tubes themselves, my only knowledge was that they were constructing 3 other tubes (I could be wrong, but I thought FREEUS was the fourth)...all I know is I asked if the tubes were complete and JR responded in the affirmative..
I remarked that they looked pretty big and wondered out loud if they were going to have to be disassembled/reassembled in IA...I felt this might cause more delays...that's when JR told me they were going to ship by barge...and that disassembly/re-assembly wouldn't be necessary...Seems reasonable to me...
I asked for timeframe and he told me they were in the process of making the arrangements...
I was just over at Raging Bull...
I'm disappointed that in response to parsonmac, two posters identified him in their replies as "Robert" and "Maximus"...
If that is true, I wouldn't put much stock in his post...
I don't know if they were guessing or somehow knew his posting handle...
Our experience over here at IHub was that information posted by Mr. Davis was not reliable...
And before any of you start questioning my motives ("oh, he's trying to get the price down so he can buy more shares"), I am just passing on things I read and how it might affect what you read in the re-post of parsonmac's RB post here...
I do not own shares of SSTP (and don't plan on it) and I have purchased USSE shares in Nov06, Jan07, Feb07, Mar07...
I am NOT a pump/dump guy....if I was trading this stock, I wouldn't bother posting here at all...because I think it's despicable to try and manipulate investors into buying/selling for your own profit...
I am NOT trading USSE stock...I am a long term investor here and I'll either take the ride up or bite the dust...in the meantime, I'm trying to find some credible evidence that this company is moving in the right direction...
Toward that end, I posted exactly what Mr. Rivera told me yesterday and warned all that more needs to be seen (the company needs to start delivering on what management just told me)...
I remain cautiously optimistic based on my conversation with Mr. Rivera yesterday...
To what degree any of you place importance on either that or, if it is Robert Davis aka parsonmac, what parsonmac's post means, that's entirely up to you...
In either case, assuming all posted is true (I know what I posted is what I was told), it is still not enough to get carried away...in my opinion....
Yes, I'm plenty annoyed because a poster over there posted one line from one of several posts I made yesterday and put my credibility into question...and called me "basher turned supporter"...I'm so annoyed, I actually had to register at RB and defend myself over there...
Whoever reads this, I tell you now...if I post it, there's no spin for my gain...I believe that its more fun if we all win at the craps table...for those who have put their hard-earned money in these companies, I'm on your side...that means I'll be critical of management if they are not performing as expected, I'll be wary of what information they give if it is not confirmed within a reasonable period of time...and I'll give them credit if I feel it is warranted...
Right now, I was pleased to be able to speak to JR and I hope that all he told me will come to fruition...
Check out www.freedomfuelsllc.com
"few" does not mean "two"...
Again, if these PRs start trickling out over the next few weeks as JR/Paisano told me, then credibility will be on the way back up...
That's why I say I'm cautiously optimistic...we have only seen the announcement by Biocentric at this point...
I asked specific questions and got specific answers...everyone here will be looking for confirmation...
And, to those who are asking why USSE/SSTP aren't PRing the JV with Biocentric, if I'm JR, I'm asking Biocentric to PR the deal because if he does, nobody will believe him...
Seriously, if, as part of third party confirmation, you aren't at least believing there is a deal because it was announced by the other party involved in the transaction, then you need to go elsewhere to look for a CEO who can also walk on water...
JR has a "ways" to go to get investors to renew a little faith in him and the company...
After yesterday's conversation, for myself, I am willing to give him more time...
Yes, it would...that was included in "blah, blah, blah"...
Now...everyone who knows anything about the government (and JR) might want to take "Monday" in context...I specifically asked John for timeframes (when the fuel was sent and what timeframe did he expect for a reply, a week, a month?)...
He told me fuel was sent last Friday...I asked where was it sent?...he said DOE...when I followed-up for timeframe expecting an answer of a week/month(s), he said Monday...I will assume for now that John asked the DOE and they told him a week...
If it doesn't happen Monday, we shouldn't go off...given the government's handling of things, we should expect it will happen "soon", but maybe not as soon as JR expects...
Of course, if they do get the results on Monday, and they are positive, credibility should definitely pick up....
Both Rivera and Paisano (Redwood), I believe, said over the next few weeks...
