My own personal experience with Mr. Davis posting on these boards is that he lacks credibility....others may differ...it's a free country...
I am not a basher, nor am I trying to help bashers...
I just want investors, investors who have money riding on the line like myself, to know who is posting what and not hiding behind a new moniker (remember, he was MaximusCommunications before)...
My moniker has been the same since day 1...and it's the same one now over at RB...
My name is Mike Nunez...I'm not hiding...if you see mickeynu, it's me...and if you think I'm posting either here or RB under another alias I can tell you now, I'm not...That's not how I operate...
As far as bashers, I must admit when I got to this board, I didn't think there could be such a thing in a penny stock...seemed that was more prevalent on Big Board/Naz stocks where short side traders would go on message boards and try to scare the bejesus out of long side investors all day long...I have nothing against short side traders who play by the rules...I have shorted positions on the Big Board/Naz myself from time to time based on technicals...If I'm right, I'm right...if not, I lose money...I'm not going to try and trick anyone into selling just like I'm not going to trick anyone into buying if I'm long..that's every investor's decision on how to play or not play a stock...
At first, I wanted to hear everyone's opinion..But, then you have to question the motives of those who don't have money riding on the line and tell you that they care about everyone else losing money....Sister Theresa they ain't...I posted that once I wised up and then put those I identified on ignore...
Look, there's a lot of frustration built up for investors over the last 6 months...Lack of information or information that did not come to fruition...
Obviously, I am not suggesting Mr. Davis is a pumper or basher...simply that the information he posted on this board led to a lot of dashed hopes when what he told us did not materialize....in other words, in my opinion, his posts lost credibility...that's only my opinion...while I was pumped when I read a re-post of what I thought was a fellow investor with the moniker "parsonmac", I was disappointed when it turned out to be Bob Davis...Maybe I'm all wrong about Bob, but I'm not betting the farm on anything HE says until he rebuilds credibility....
I also have to realize that some here or on RB may not think MY statements are credible...When I cool my jets, I understand...you don't know me personally...All I can tell you is I know ME...I'm not here to mislead or confuse...I'm here because I'm trying to make sure I have invested mine and my wife's hard-earned dough into a winner...along the way, if it helps, I'm trying to let you know what I know...
I have consistently posted that I do NOT believe USSE/SSTP are scams...I wouldn't have bothered a) calling Redwood for answers or b) posted on this board if I did think that...I would have quietly sold my position and walked away...nor did I make my post because I was trying to "trick" people into buying for my own short-sighted goals...I'm here either way...
But I do hold management accountable for the things they tell investors if they don't materialize...I do start to question whether they have the "goods" but not the experience to accomplish the goals...
After talking with JR yesterday, I felt better (and like I've posted before, I'm in whether it's golddust or just dust simply BECAUSE I don't think it's a scam)...
Others have posted about the company being new and making missteps...I understand that...all I'm looking for is direction and strategy and that investors can get a real sense of progress...toward that end, I felt I got some of my answers and wanted to share them with fellow investors. At the same time, I didn't want people to go overboard (and run and buy more) just because it appeared the clouds broke open for a moment with some positive info...there's still more work to be done...
That's all these boards should be for...a network of investors who can help each other figure out where our company is going...that we are on the right road...bashers exploit the uncertainty...
And I tell you...that is not my aim here...if you're an investor, stick it out and let's see how things progress...If investors are provided with enough information and see definitive progress, bashers here will be as extinct as the dinosaur...
It had been reported that JR took responsibility at the Natchez shindig for promises made, not kept (I paraphrase)...
I spoke to the man yesterday...that he took the time to call me back within 10 minutes, patiently discuss and answer my questions to my satisfaction for another 10-15 minutes...That's good enough for me...I look for confirmation of progress...
