Kan,
Couldn't agree with you more. What would really substantiate this year's end report is more real news in the progress area as far as goals in the sales or licensing of the synDNA. That is their only real means of revenue and needs to be pushed at this time to show that they can be somewhat self sufficient. At least that is my thinking. But I'm no Einstein and that should be pretty obvious.
What I didn't like about the report is the lack of mention of Aldevron's second round of testing which I would think would have to be somewhat close to done...if what was reported mid last year was the truth.
The report also illudes to the fact that there is much news and progress reports that are right around the corner. This has been stated before and empty results here could be devistating IMHO.
I hope stonehenge or whomever can accomplish the job put forth. I'm not really ecstatic aboout our DD's have turned up virtually nada on the company. Poor results and keeping word right now is paramount. I think all will be well in the future but the company is very fragile right now and walking on thin ice.

Any guesses on what today might provide for us? What do you all think more news would do for us in the next coupple of days?
Arny,
I think that our new CFO will be more prompt and diligent than the LW. I have had conversation with her and she seems on the ball and very concerned about doing a thorough timely job. It's my understanding that she did most of the work for him anyway in the area of filings and book keeping (NOT HER statements in our conversation). My thinking is it was his area to raise funds when needed but sluffed off the rest of the time with a nose in the air or cocky attitude. I would not be suprised...actually I would be disappionted if it took her as long to file as the previous LW. The only reason for her to take as long (I'm thinking) is because she is being directed to by a higher power due to situations that may be happening out of the LW departure.

The Wawh, man I would take $14/share at the end of 2008 anyday...and hopefully at the end of 2008.
Any guesses on the revenue for the 4th Q? As stated in post and the interview we shold be seeing an increase of......$1.00?
Sauce,
Is that the mystery buy at $1.00 for 50K?
WannaB
In my theory I really didn't think correctly. Even of LW does believe in the technology he could be pulling this move to improve his position of shares. Sell for a dollar almost doubble his position at current prices!
Here's my guess and that's exactally what it is, a guess. My thinking is that LW is comming to haunt. He probably has threatened with a law suit and some arrangement has been made to purchase his shares at a particular price....and he will go away quietly. If that is indeed the case then he is an idiot, unless he has no faith in the technology, then he is smart in the move.
I don't know. Really don't know what to think. I would think he has some sort of restriction of the timeframe in which he can sell his shares after dismissal, and/or some timeframe associated with his options. Anyone?
Arny, have any thiughts here.
If I go into speculating here will you "nay" or "ye" it!
What the heck just happened. We go 50K shares at a buck then back down.
Volume is staggering...or is that stagnating!
I bet we stay steady today! At least I hope.
I think we should have a contest on how long we can go without news. Any takers?
It seems that someone individually dumped a lot last week. Is that ya'll's take. Not much action at all since then. As a captain of mine once said, "Dead'r than a popcorn fart."
JJ, What is your definintion of long term. With the apparent sence of urgency at the headquarters my kids will be the beneficiaries of the long term.
Building ground breaking???? Any word?
Wouldn't happen to be the scientist from Austin Powers, ay?
So Arny,
Have you seen an actual code associated with the inactivity (sp) of the stock?
Has the trading actually been halted for CYGX?
Just for the record regarding the poll....does that count as one post or two? lol But I would like a ruling.
Well, Am I allowed some ketchup with my crow? I hope I am wrong!
One other thing. If you all will recall the recent interview of past with FV there was a moment in the interview near the end where he is giving the company a plug and he actually shows some emotion at one point. It is where he says that there is "some risk" with the investment and then gives a chuckle or laugh at that point. Any thoughts on that little sequence of events?
Does anyone have any news on the building and/or it's contract? Will there be a groundbreaking this year as forecast?
I am thinking the same now as I posted a while ago, although in that post I don't think it says what I am about to write. I think our PR blitz is out for this year. There is too much on the line at this time to worry about trying to get the SP up into the bonus range. Which in turn, as someone already stated, will be easy for them to accomplish next year all considering. We may see one or two things come out to the office but I think we'er dun fur this year. Happy Holidays to all. Thanks for getting me acquainted with the board. My we all have a prosperous 2007! (said with some angst)
Hope you catch a 20 lb. er. Hopefully a $20er.
Just fishin' BigB or is that substantiated by something magic and concrete?
Is today the day for news?
Also, has anyone heard about the status of the building. Have they broken ground. Has the initial payment been given to the contractor to initiate the notice to proceed. Was there a cancellation or decision made not to go forward with the construction as there was a 15 day term (or something like that) in the contract to review and abort mission. If it's a go I would thing they would be close to breaking groung at this point. I believe that architectural drawings are done so what would be the hold-up? Any work would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Sauce and All,
Here is my take on the sich-ee-a-shun.
There are a lot of things that are very pressing, especially in the area of positions to fill. There may have been a lineup or agenda for some PR's throughout the December month, but with things shaken up as such, that agenda may have changed. This is especially true with regard to the two departures. If they were in fact planning to pump the stock with PR's for the bonus time I'm sure LW and FV were privy to the fact. That move now could somehow be misconstrued by the SEC as unfair play if called out by previous employee's. I think MS will be playing by the strictest of rules during this transition period. Additionally I don't think that MS is probably worried about his bonus this year. He is, if the respinsible person we've heard about, hopefully scrambeling to get this turmoil under his thumb in order to press on for the 2007 year. I mean, would you be worried about a single years bonus making the money he does, especially when he stands to lose so much if things go south. I'd be concerned about keeping the sails into the wind and the bilge pumped. I know I'd like to see a plethora, no a lexicon, of PR's and the stock price where we all want it...RIGHT AT ABOUT $20.00...and heading up. I'm sure he would too, but there are other things at hand during the moment that need tending. This little sequesce of events really may have dazzled up the pole about the number of posts before the end of the year.
It'll be interesting for sure.

I've been off the board for a little while. I finally had the time after turkey-day family events to catch up on the last week or so.
First and foremost, to everyone, a Happy Thanksgiving. I hope you were all with loved ones where better than the average going-ons were experienced.
Secondly and thereon, there were many post that I would like to make a comment on, but will not bore you with all the hubub! There were too many post replies and discussion that hit the nail on head and had some of my same thoughts.
Too ALL. I love reading ALL, or most all, your post, though it sometimes gets a little pokey/jabey(sp). I love to watch the soap when it occurs.
I think if you all look at my last post, there is some conclusion/forementioning/intention within the post's that has captured the sediment/logic of the last weeks turn of events. Change is good for this company. Especially at this evolutionary time with respect to the relative positions...especially when/where people took care of company housecleaning by their own personal actions. We collectively and/or subliminallly (sp) wanted and/or needed the sequesce of events to happen.
There was a struggle conflict of power. After Marcus's comments and post, and then puting two and two together from rumor posts, it is evident that MS is not one to have a struggle of power against or try to oust. He is not there for the money, although it doesn't hurt, but there for the science and the success of the company. I think MS knows himself that he is there not for the long long term but to just set the table and take care of work in addition to fires just like those that have transpired. My hats off to him. HERE, HERE!! We all should be thankful for him if invested in this company.
One thing that sticks out to me about the recent post of pasts is the notion of keeping the stockholders informed. I'm with Arnold, and others that have posted in that respect, that I want to know about the things that are on the table and happening in the maturation if the company. i.e.
The cow moo-moo progress.,
The work with Stein,
The testing of synDNA product by Aldevron.,
More specifics with the IND's.,
Etc. Etc.
Is that so wrong?
Houndish, Good to hav you back.
Marcus, my words are not eloquent enough to prefess my appreciation with your art of the pen. Great fresh perspective. Do I know you from somewhere?... I know it is not your wetnurse gig where I presume you really did have your occupation...good resume, by the way, looks like a lot of good experience! :')
I think this turn of events, which at this time is true, is great for the company. It's getting rid of stale weight and opening the possibility for this company to turn the corner from a small company to the giant they wish to be. Just from stories/aura on this board there was some question to the character of LW. Additionally, from the interview with FV recently it is evident that he is not the best of speakers. True he did not do a bad job but he wasn't a "knock your socks off" kind of speaker, which is paramont for this position given the stage of this company. One in this position must be able to "WOW" people. With the staff that CYGX has been building over the last couple of years this is an oppertune time, due to events, to bring in fresh blood in the CFO position, in turn, energizing this company during such a key time. They are getting clients, building a facility, and positioning themselves to be a real player in an industry that will be huge. We can not afford to have anything but the best possible people in the appropriate postions proceeding into the future at this delicate time of company evolution.
Looks like some pretty big dumps after 3PM. Anyone know if it is the etrd people?
Do I read the filing correctly that the 10Q submittal will be on or before the 20th of November, or am I reading something here incorectly?
Here, Here!!!
I believe it has got to be that entity that accumulated at around .75 from ETRD over the last week or so. If they are taking the .04 swing on the volume they have accumulated it may account for a little cash. My thinking is why not let it run up a little to gain more $?
Here's my take on capacity limited. My take is that these guys will/should sell as much as possible and will/should find ways not to hinder their production capabilities if the orders are there. If they are holding back on thier "surplus" avaliable they are complete idiots. A new "plant", as refered to in the past, build by Alfa is IMO is talking about the production module itself, or the popcorn/yogert machine as we refer to it. I don't know how many of these machines are in a suite but since the prototype is built any number of these units can be built fairly quickly, I would assume, since they have built them/it before...especially if they ordered in quantity. At 50K a pop, maybe even less if ordered in quantity I would think that these guys could ramp up production quickly with additional suites added to their new production facility to accomodate the demand. Or, maybe they want demand at a maximim to allow for the asking of more $ for product. I just don't understand or see how they can have a good sound marketing strategy with the idea of sales with "surplus" limited. They need to instill in their clients, or potential clients, that they can accomodate on the basis of timeframe, quality and cost.
Am I just seeing things incorrectly here or what?
HC
That would be building with suites!
Know I'm late but wasn't around a computer untill this morning. Great news! It's about time after being rumored in the woodwork for so long. Now, If only the other rumors in the mill will come to pass we will be looking great for the rest of 2006 and have a prosperous 2007 and thereafter. If it's not too late fearfrost put me down for .90. I hope you will honor this since I got it in before market opened. If not that is okay also. Thanks and congrats to all. I hope this is the beginning of becomming a huge blip on the worlds radar.
I'll vote a number 3.
That would be just fine with me. 2007 sometime?
Arnold,
How could you say such a thing!
Maybe I don't want you to drink alone!
Yo HC
May I be so rude to inquire as to what your magic number is?
HC
I'd say at this time in the game with .80 being there for so long we have made it through most of the sell off's here.
As you insinuate... if wee keep this sharade up long enough we will be back to even.
