Jmj,
Those are all good questions. I know that you asked Preston, but I would just like to point out that Kidde purchased the exclusive license from USGA and not TIAX so the onus is on Tiax to prove that USGA did not have that right.
I think Kidde's lawyers have advised them to let the legal process run it's route at the risk of becoming a party to the law suit.
All of the SEC trouble came under Robinson/Gruenler. With Scorzelli as the CEO, given his SEC experience, (http://www.secattorneys.nl/team.html) I'm sure that there is a reason that they have not put out any PR's and won't until there is something concrete.
USGA mamagement is solely responsible for this ALL-Clear legal mess. It's thier tree and they have to sit in it until it's finished.
That said, I expect the next USGA event will most likely Mapsands or G-lam related. Pipeline security is going to be big business and the high price of oil may have resurrected Mapsands.
Also, we need to keep in mind that the clock is running on all of USGA's technologies. The longer we go without a deal the more likely there will be something cheaper and better on the market.

That's right Preston. I agree with your assessment.
7/31 is the date. Docket# 07-589
Middlesex superior court,MA. Phone# for the clerks office is
781-939-2700 ext# 2825. They probably won't have decision/outcome info at the clerk's office until Friday or Monday
Hope for the best but expect more of the same.
MJ
I don't think they went bust. They wouldn't be updating thier website and working on partnerships if that was the case. I feel like news is close and this dump may be as you say..MM playing for shares and trying scare everyone to death. It could also be a former employee who had to liquidate. Maybe Gruenler. Who knows. May be an unfavorable settlement with All-Clear. But I doubt it.
I don't think any funds own the stock at this time.
let's see what happens.
MJ
I like this little addition to the "Partnership opportunities" page of USGN.com
"Please refer to the USGN news page for recent announcements of partnering agreements."
As shakespeare would say ....it may be "foreshadowing"
also...
Interesting news item that would go well on the Mapsands news page
http://www.businessweek.com/ap/financialnews/D920DR780.htm
MJ
Jmj, the short answer is Yes. I’m still here and digging to find out what I can.
First. As far as the All-Clear case goes, I called the court and confirmed the 7/31 date is still a go for the pre-trial. Not much more can be said about this except we need to keep in mind that it is a pre-trial which means that this case can still be stretched out for quite a while. On the other hand, there are no other events or dates on the docket at this time so a settlement is still a possibility at this time.
More interesting is the stealthy updates that have been occurring on the USGN.com websites. The blurb on the home page has been re-written to give a good description of what the company does and wants to do. The Products and Technologies page has been expanded to include much more detail under the “more information” tabs. The Investor relations tab accurately reflects the company as OTC and the Partnerships page has been re-written as well.
So, the question is..Why is there so much activity now after the site was dormant for over a year? Maybe there will be more eyes on the site in the near future.
In fact the rate of archiving and updating on the site seems excessive and there may be much more to come. Check the domain archive history for 2008 on this link and you will see what I mean.
http://domain-history.domaintools.com/?q=usgn.com&page=results#nsmessages
I believe that each update reflects a change to the site, although some may not be apparent. Each of these updates is privacy protected so it is impossible to see what the update was. This activity, along with the fact that all the links I posted for Defense Matrix have all been taken down indicated (To me) that there is some smoke here, maybe a partnership for Mapsands or some of the G-lam-blast mitigation products.
High priced oil is here to stay and defending oil infrastructure will be a huge market. Let’s hope that Sorzelli and the gang can capitalize on this.

" I have every intention of remaining part of the solution. I invite you to be part of the solution as well."
Spoken like a true leader. So climb on board with the team and come on in for the big win!
MJ
It's true. It looks ugly right now, but so does a caterpillar before it turns into a beautiful butterfly.
btw, I called E-turd to ask why I couldn't place a order on-line and they said it was a compliance issue and I had to call the compliance dept. It sounds so Orwellian.
After 1/2 in voicemail hell I didn't have the patience to call again
Good luck..hope we all get rich
MJ
I had the same problem with returned E-mails from Scorzelli and Rich. The USGN site was down for a short time on Wednesday so it could be a maintanence issue. I can't believe they wouldn't want to hear from us.
MJ
Q, They failed to elaborate on this partnership. Must be top-secret. After reading that case study you would think they turned USGA into a fortune 500 company.
MJ
Maybe it's time to get back to working with these guys....

Scroll down to see the USGA Case study
MJ
Thanks Jeepney. Even if he doesn't reply, he'll get the message. I CC'd Scorzelli as well.
MJ
Thanks Preston, It was right in front of me on I-Hub. I also heard from Scorzelli that the Demo went well, however, as you know, it didn't make a lick of sense to ship everything to the middle east when the Demo could have been done here for a lot less $$. But that's all ancient history now. They need to figure out how to create some awareness of the company again.
MJ
JMJ, you should be able to just click on the links in my post as long as your firewall doesn't block them.
The first link was a news item from yesterday. An oil platform 65 miles off the coast was attacked and is causing oil prices to rise today.
The second was from April. A pipeline was attacked.
Two good application for Mapsands and a lot more timely than the Quito news item on the website.
MJ
Preston, let me know if you have another E-mail for David Doderer as well.
Thanks,
MJ
Two interesting news items from Nigeria:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080619/ap_on_bi_ge/nigeria_oil_unrest;_ylt=Aip2JGQ_Wg25XCVzg5T0dOes0NUE
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24202696/
The offshore attack is important because USGA has already performed a "Proposal to Configure MAPSANDS for an Offshore Oil Platform"
The second is important for two reasons: Obviously because of Mapsands is a perfect fit for pipeline protection (which is more important today than ever because of the price of oil and the speculation that runs rampant with even the hint of a supply shortage) but also because of "Pipe Wrap"
What is "Pipe Wrap"? I asked that question when I first saw it on the Defence Matrix presentation. With some investigation, I found that it is a USGA product.
http://www.findownersearch.com/brand/5118387/
Now both of these news items have a lot more relavence that the "Quito" item on the Mapsands website. I going to ask everyone here to please E-mail David Doderer (David@solutionassociates.com) and ask him to please post these items on the site. They just updated the site so they can do it again.
Let's send this info to Scorzelli and Rich.S as well. They need to get off thier A**es
I understand that they need to be careful what they publish because of the whole Robinson/SEC affair but this stuff is factual and relevent.
Mj
Solid DD Buddy. I'm adding as soon as E-turd releases my funds.
MJ
All-clear.com domain renewed for another year
http://whois.domaintools.com/all-clear.com
MJ
Preston, as far as I can see, they are not related. Matrix consulting appears to be domestic (http://www.matrixcg.net/flash/)
while Phoenix/Defence Matrix is based out of Ontario/Brussels.
but there is some smoke here, just have to figure out what it is.
MJ
It looks like they renewed the Mapsands.com Domain name registration for an additional year.
http://whois.domaintools.com/mapsands.com
I was a little surprised because the Usgn.com and Mapsands.com sites mirror each other right now, so if they were interested in reducing costs, I figured they would just let it expire. So, maybe there are other plans for Mapsands. Although, I still can't figure out what the significance of teh "Quito Equador" news item is and why they keep it on the site.
MJ
That's right Jeepney. The case that was settled in Feb. was about who was responsible for the R&D costs associated with All-Clear. The case coming up in July concerns marketing rights.
Tiax has shown no inclination towards settling and I'm not surprised. They are a profitable business with cash flow and they can litigate until the cows come home. USGA can't and there is potentially a lot of $$ at stake.
The 07/31/2008 date is only a pre-trail hearing so I don't expect any settlement on All-Clear this year. For reference: the case that was finally settled in 02/2008 was originally filed in 2005. This up-coming case was filed in 11/2007
Also, UTC/Kidde owns the domain "All-clear.com". It is set to expire 8/3/2008. It will be interesting to see if they renew it. It will show that they are still very interested but the more time that passes the more potential market-share can erode to competitors and new products.
Anything is possible. They could settle tomorrow but, as of right now, the All-Clear situation is still a big ole mess.
Jeepney, I was refering to only the Domain name "Mapsands.com".
http://whois.domaintools.com/mapsands.com
If they let it expire, they may just do it to reduce costs because the exact same info can be found on usgn.com now. Or, it's possible, they may be planning to sell the rights/technology/licenses to mapsands.
let's see.
MJ
Preston, check your I-village
MJ
The license on Mapsands.com is set to expire on Saturday. They may just let it expire because they recently updated the USGN.com and Mapsands.com so that they mirror each other.
Let's see what happens
MJ
Q,
Check you PM on I-village
MJ
I ran across what looks like a 2008 on-line power-point presentation by a Canadian VC called Phoenix alliance corp. They are representing/trying to raise capital for a company called Defence Matrix inc that is looking to establish offices in Dubai, UAE ..etc. This company plans to offer a range of pipe-line defense products such as Blast-mitigation products and, yes, Mapsands.
I can't find out anything else about this company or if it even exists yet. Maybe if someone has access to lexis-nexis there may be more info available.

I called Aaron a few days ago and got the same info. In fact, he said they are still a little bit below the 500mil. He also said that he hadn't heard anything from the company since the Nov/Dec proxy attempt.
No one from Aurus is going to grace the cover of Fortune magazine in the near future but even if thier assets are grossly over-stated, I think this stock is on-sale @.01. They just need to do something. Release financials, execute a sale or JV, or announce a cash div and .10 could come very quickly.
Metals are only increasing in value world-wide. If I had any money I would be a buyer here.
MJ
Everybody's ready and waiting. Slava just has to sit down and start typing!
Go AURC!
MJ
It funny that the only press release on one of the dueling IA websites says " IA makes Tender offer for NSOL". It's so outragous that they can leave that BS in the public record. Unless, of course, they meant tender as in "love me tender"
1.50/share ???? that's so tender!!!!!
MJ
Or a (legitimate) buyout.....
MJ
Anyone know if these two guys are still involved with the company ?

http://investing.businessweek.com/research/stocks/people/people.asp?symbol=USGA
I have been trying to find some contact info but I haven't had any success.
Thanks
MJ
Great info SR. You may, single-handedly, bring some excitement back into this stock. It looks like a hellava bargain @ .01
MJ
Did anyone ever figure out why IA has competeing websites?
Very strange!
MJ
Ok, I have been telling them for over a year to update the contact info on the website and get rid of the picture of the old TX faclity on mapsands.com. So why do it now?
I think they also added/modified the "about USGA" blurp on the homepage, but someone else should confirm that to be sure
The optimist in me says maybe they are expecting to have a lot more eyes on the website soon.
We have also had a little uptick in volume lately. Maybe they are connected.
Sooner or later somethings got to happen here. We either dissapear or start to move forward.
Well, I vote we move forward!
GLTA
MJ
It seems like a "Slam-dunk". If the true value of Aurc is somewhere between .01 and .55 then this looks like a good time to buy.
MJ
So, I guess... "direct negotiations with the Board of Nuclear Solutions" was a stretch.
MJ
Q, maybe they are just blocking us for being such trouble makers and asking too many questions.
MJ
Preston, I just tried it and I got a "Error 403 - Forbidden " message.
Also, I noticed that they finally updated the contact info page on the mapsands.com site. They took down the picture and address of the TX facility.
Interesting volume today. I wonder if the events are connected?
MJ
If they were ever serious about selling the company, Allen-Vangaurd of Canada seems like a perfect fit.(vrs.to) They have been aquiring companies
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=19403080
and they have a lot of synergies, decon foam, blast materials. etc...
Do we have to do everything for these guys?
MJ
It's not much but if someone is willing to throw $500 into this abyss then I would call him/her an optimist too.
MJ
I don't know if it's good or bad or nothing. It's bad if they ran out of money and can no longer support the site. It could be good if they are finally bringing it up to date in advance of some news. Or it could be a problem with the server or the host.
History would indicate the first option is much more likely but I prefer to be optimistic. That's all we got
MJ
