McNabb expected to be inactive for Eagles ...

NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora reports that starting QB Donovan McNabb is expected to be inactive. McNabb has been nursing a broken rib since Week 1.
The Eagles will have three quarterbacks on the active game-day roster today against the Chiefs, according to a league source, with Kevin Kolb expected to start. Among that group is Michael Vick, who would be making his debut for the Eagles

Big talk about that on the Sports radio here in New Yok area. Sad, but true, there seems to be no alternative.
"Remember "Strike the Gold" and even "Birdstone". Great wins for Nicky!
I have never been to the dogs. How would the fix them? Over feeding maybe?
Sort of a similiar belief I have with horseracing. I believe Jockeys and drivers should not have visible access to the toteboard. No reason for it.
Exactly! Bookies and Vegas is my opinion.
You are correct!
Why do you think Childress reported Favres Fingernail!
I heard that interview with Rex on WFAN radio today..He made a little snicker about it because it was more of a CYA thing because of the Favre "non" injury report from last year.
GIANTS "D" takes big hit. Phillips put on IR with knee injury.

Phillips put on IR with knee injury
Associated Press
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Safety Kenny Phillips will miss the rest of the New York Giants' season with an injury to his left knee.
The team placed him on injured reserve Thursday afternoon and announced it was awarded safety Aaron Rouse off waivers from Green Bay. He was waived Monday.
Phillips, who had two interceptions in Sunday night's win over Dallas, has been bothered by the knee for about a month. Coach Tom Coughlin had said he thought Phillips could deal with the injury on a weekly basis, but something obviously happened after Sunday's game.
With Phillips out, C.C. Brown will start Sunday at Tampa Bay.
Injuries in the secondary have become a concern for the Giants. Cornerbacks Aaron Ross and Kevin Dockery missed the opening two games with hamstring injuries and don't appear ready>

Maybe we can blame Yeung for the brake fluid deal not going through!
Gedi, correct.<- Yeung didn't place any restrictions on this stock>
The only point regarding this issue is blaming the correct person regarding restricted shares.Yeung did not place the restriction on the shares as others have stated. If people are going to place guilt on someone regarding the restricted shares, the correct person to blame in this is Flannery, notYeung.
Lets get it right people.
EAGLES PLEASE!
Key stat Colt/Fins...
The Colts' win is impressive given how much time Manning spent on the sideline. Miami dominated the time of possession battle, chewing 45:07 off the clock. In fact, the Colts only ran 13 plays in the second half. Indianapolis had the ball for 14:53, the lowest time of possession for a winning team since 1977.
Thanks Vincent. As you can see from my posts the rebuilding is happening and there is opportunity for Yeung to capitalize with the situations going on out there.I agree, it would be nice to hear from IR, but that won't deter me one way or another.
Time to Buy more!
China builds new homes and schools in Sichuan
The province is still recovering from last year's devastating earthquake that measured 8 on the Richter scale.
A group of 712 children aged between eight and 14, of whom 338 are orphans, moved into the complex known as "Ankang Jiayuan" (Homestead of Well-being) in Shuangliu County Wednesday.
The complex consists of two new apartment buildings, a primary school and a middle school. In addition to teachers, there are 80 specially-trained tutors to take care of the children's everyday necessities.
"It is beautiful here and I have no worries," said 13-year-old Luo Haowei from Yingxiu Township of Wenchuan County, the epicenter of last year's quake. He lost his parents in the disaster.
"All my teachers and schoolmates are very nice. We treat each other as close relatives," he said. "I will study hard and repay all of those who care about me with a good school record."
Wang Yanmei, one of the tutors, said she will attend to the children to the best of her ability.
"In my eyes, they are my own children," she said.
The "Ankang Jiayuan" project, the first of its kind specially built for Sichuan quake survivors, was initiated by the Beijing-based China Children and Teenagers' Fund (CCTF) after the disaster left more than 87,000 people dead or missing.
"Our fund started arranging the transfer of the children in Sichuan to other provinces not long after the quake, with the hope of helping them get rid of the psychological shadow and to offer a safe environment for their study and living," said the CCTF's Dr. Zhang Hefeng.
"Most of the children in "Ankang Jiayuan" studied and lived in Rizhao City, eastern Shandong province for a year before they came back to Sichuan in June this year," Zhang said.
Currently, "Ankang Jiayuan" is China's largest base to accommodate Sichuan quake orphans, and CCTF plans to build more complexes in the future, he said.
Construction of the sheltered environment was started in August last year and has cost almost 100 million yuan (US$14.7 million), which was donated by the Rizhao Steel Holding Group.
"Our company will continue to pay all the tuition fees for all the children until they finish middle school," said Wang Lifei, the company's deputy general manager.

16 schools and kindergartens in Wenchuan finish constructionBy Wang Wei and He Xin (China Daily)
WENCHUAN: A grand ceremony was held in Wenchuan County, southwest China's Sichuan province, on Thursday morning, to mark the completion of 14 schools and two kindergartens with financial assistance from south China's Guangdong province.
Many buildings including schools were damaged or collapsed in the devastating magnitude-8.0 earthquake that jolted Wenchuan, the epicenter of the quake, in May last year. Guangdong was in charge of the reconstruction of schools in Wenchuan.
With an investment of more than 871 million yuan, the province built two high schools, 10 rural primary schools and four kindergartens covering 222,550 square meters.
More than 14,000 students from Wenchuan who are studying in different parts of the country or prefabricated houses in Wenchuan because of the quake will study in the newly completed schools, according to county magistrate Liao Min.
Guangdong governor Huang Huahua considered the building of the schools and kindergartens a miracle as it took less than one year to finish the mammoth project.
"The central government attaches great importance to the reconstruction of schools in quake-hit areas. Premier Wen Jiabao said that more than 90 percent of the students in the quake zone shall study in permanent schools at the end of this year," said Lu Xiaoya, vice-minister of education, in the ceremony.

Kolb will start if McNabb can’t play...
PHILADELPHIA (AP)—Kevin Kolb(notes) will make his second straight start for the Philadelphia Eagles if Donovan McNabb(notes) can’t play against Kansas City.
Coach Andy Reid isn’t sure whether Jeff Garcia(notes) or Michael Vick(notes) would be the backup quarterback in that scenario. Vick is eligible to play for the first time after serving a two-game suspension as the final league penalty for his role in running a dogfighting ring.
McNabb missed Sunday’s 48-22 loss to New Orleans with a cracked rib. Kolb made his first NFL start, throwing for 391 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions. Garcia, signed last week as insurance, was the backup.
McNabb was injured in the season opener at Carolina. He didn’t practice last week and was ruled out 90 minutes before kickoff.

<best run attack> Which year Giants team you speaking of? Certainly not his years team!
Jacobs and Bradshaw are a combined 53 carries for 201 yards. That certainly is not Giant Football.Eli manning, as great as he is, cannot carry this team to Miami without the running game producing better.
23 Brandon Jacobs, RB NYG 32 104 3.3 31 0 52.0
28 Ahmad Bradshaw, RB NYG 21 97 4.6 22 0 48.5
Don't get me wrong, I love Steve Smith, but they cannot win games all the time like this every game.
I know numbers can de decieving, but these are some very good numbers. (I only watched the first half).
NY Giants Receiving
REC YDS TD LG
Manningham 10 150 1 49
Smith 10 134 1 32
That's one of the few weaknesses from last year that the Giants did not seem to correct...so far.
That's part of the game! That was some catch in the end zone by the Giants receiver on his back!
WOW!
<Jason Campbell>
That's like deciding to buy a "pinkjie" stock instead of a Big Board stock! LOL.
Dallas is done! LOL
BOYS are lucky to be in game with three turnovers. On the flip side,Giants should be up by a lot more points.
I need them to cover. I'm giving -2.5 on my pool sheet!LOL
How come every time I go to reply or post a new post, I get the following message:
<Microsoft SQL Native Client error '80040e10'

I them have to back out and then hit "subnit post" again.
Anyone know ?

Hasselbeck thought to have rib bruise....
SAN FRANCISCO -- Seattle Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck was taken to a hospital for X-rays and a CT scan after injuring his ribs on a hard hit late in the second quarter against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
The X-rays were negative while the CT scan was inconclusive, according to Seattle coach Jim Mora, and Hasselbeck rejoined his teammates for the two-hour flight home shortly after the 23-10 loss to the 49ers.
"It is a rib bruise at this point," Mora said. "He's doing much better ... he's feeling much more comfortable. We believe at this point, and it's very preliminary, that he's going to be OK."
Hasselbeck went down for several minutes with 26 seconds left before halftime when linebacker 49ers Patrick Willis stuck him in the back as the QB was trying to dive for the end zone and was stopped at the 1-yard line.
Hasselbeck got up and was wobbly as he made his way to the sideline, where he fell to his knees and was quickly swarmed by Seattle coaches and trainers.
"I don't know how you tell him to do anything different than he did," Mora said. "You love to see that but you hate to see the results. We'll keep our fingers crossed."
Backup Seneca Wallace came in on the play after Hasselbeck was hurt and threw a 1-yard touchdown pass to Julius Jones to pull Seattle within 13-10.

I actually have the BOYS in my pool sheet tonight. Not that I think they are better, but being home, opening a new stadium, I expect they better play the game of their lives!
May I ask what your other option was that made you do that?
Thanks
<Can you believe I kept Matt Schaub on my FFB 'bench' today)
Sanchez is going to be a good one.
KUDOS to myself! 9 Point dog winning outright.
< I could be wrong, but the best chance of a major upset is in Green Bay. The bengals did not play that bad last week and Green Bay is way overated>
Sorry about that.
His is starting. That's what NFL.COM has. Sorry about that before, but that's what our sport station had said.
That's what the radio station here said.
Yes, he is out, so is Cassel for Chiefs.
