Westbrook "good to go" for Cowboys game
Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on November 4, 2009 1:17 PM ET
Brian Westbrook's absence from the Eagles lineup will only last one game after suffering a concussion against the Redskins.
Coach Andy Reid confirmed Wednesday that Westbrook has been medically cleared to play this week and is "good to go" against the Cowboys Sunday unless there is a setback. Reid even managed to make light of the scary-looking injury, saying Westbrook's head usually hits the shins of defender, but it hit Redskins linebacker London Fletcher's knee because they were "two shortest guys on the field." (Now we know why Reid never tries to jokes around.)
Westbrook's head injury was no laughing matter, but the game off might not be the worst thing for the rest of his body. After multiple surgeries this offseason, Westbrook only has 58 touches thus far in 2009. In theory, he should be fresh for the stretch run.
Strongside linebacker Chris Gocong, defensive end Victor Abiamiri and wideout Kevin Curtis are all missing practice Wednesday.

Green Bay Please!
And what data is that? The links you posted do not back up what you stated.
Thanks.
I'm glad you get it and realize there is no "pumping" going on.
Go Favre!
ESPN Reports Westbrook out of todays game vs the Giants.
OK, I'm waiting. Did not see anything that states pumping in those.
BTW # 13 is from Sept. Not last two weeks.
Other than your buddy Lottos posts, please post me 10 "pumping posts".
(pumping meaning "to DA Moon", greatest tock ever, etc).
I think you will be hard pressed to do that.
Because someone "likes" a stock or mentions that the company looks like it is worth the risk becuse they sell "X" product, doesn't classify it a "pump" If that was the case, every board on I-HUB would be all Pump post.
10 Pump posts" in the last two weeks Bruce.
I'll await your reply.
Gedi, I believe we understand what OTCBB companies like INBG are about, that's why we are not surprised that INBG is still in the cellar at this point.Others may not understand about the OTCBB and it's risks.
I think I would be surprised to see ANYTHING positive in the next filing!
2 years under Yeung. I think that suffices as having faith long enough. I am still hoping for the best.
At this rate, for all I know, Yeung can be ordering take-out chinese food with our money. Some Dim Sum, some egg rolls, maybe shrimp toast. Anyway, I'll believe the news when I see it.I am hoping we do hears some news though!
Sorry Gedi, 27 million shares after all this has seen doesn't get categorized ar a "run", at least imo!
WEEK #8 INDY please.
Yes, I read that. But stopping the Wilcat in game speed is another story. Should be a good game.
I agree. But what do I know!
Vikes-Steelers looking like perfect weather conditions!
Did you hear what the Dolphins want to do? They want to force Brees and New Orleans to pass the ball!
CAROLINA PANTHER Please!
Question,40-50% cnahce orf rain and T-storms predicted for Saints-Dolphins game.
Who would the weather (if it rains) favor more?
I'm not sure, but I think it would favor a balanced Saints attack more.
Any opinions?
Thanks
Pro wrestler wants to pummel Mangini...
<Posted by Mike Florio on October 22, 2009 11:59 AM ET
Once upon a time, I could rattle off the names of 50 or more pro wrestlers.
Hulk Hogan. Andre the Giant. Super Fly Snuka. Randy "Macho Man" Savage. Paul "Mr. Wonderful" Orndorff. The Iron Sheik. Ted DiBiase (who went on to become "The Million-Dollar Man"). Hacksaw Jim Duggan. The Junkyard Dog.
OK, I still can rattle off the names of about 50 pro wrestlers.
But those are all wrestlers from 20 or 30 years ago. I don't know anything about today's pro wrestlers, largely because I don't pay any attention to it.
Unless the "sport" intersects with pro football.
Recently, Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger ventured far from his comfort zone (eye roll) and appeared on WWE's Monday Night Raw. Even more recently, a wrestler known as "The Miz" offered up a gem of a quote regarding one of Roethlisberger's chief rivals.
"A person I'd like to see and smack the sh-t out of is [Browns coach] Eric Mangini," Mr. Miz recently said, per ESPN.com. "That's what I'd like to do. He is doing absolutely horrific. He is horrible. Brady Quinn sucks. Derek Anderson sucks. But the reason why they suck is that their offensive line is not giving them time to throw the ball. I want to smack Eric Mangini so hard he poops himself."
And there's an image that should carry the folks in the Eastern time zone right through the lunch hour.
Mangini isn't the only guy on The Miz's hit list. He says he also wants to beat up the wrestler formerly known as "The Rock."
"I think he's too much of a girl now," Miz says. "He's no longer The Rock, he's Dwayne Johnson. I'm Dwayne Johnson (in his best girly voice). I think now that he's Dwayne Johnson, I can take him. He's skinny. He's like a toothpick. He's what, 150-pounds soaking wet?"
Making The Miz's quotes even more intriguing is the fact that the stuff he's saying sounds like things an NFL player might say. So, yeah, the line between the NFL and pro wrestling is getting blurry. And though we probably should be troubled by it, we're starting to sort of like it>

BOth. That is,they're BOTH undervalued! LOL!
I agree.

QB Daunte Culpepper will start for the Lions in Week 6...
QB Daunte Culpepper will start for the Lions in Week 6. No. 1 overall selection Matthew Stafford will be the third quarterback. WR Calvin Johnson was listed as questionable all week with a knee sprain, but he is active.

Jaguars please!
Saints off BYE will be tough for Giants....
The Giants may actually have to play this week after having a scrimmage last week! LOL
I really can't stand the Dolphins and that Wildcat College football nonsense. Let them lead the league in rushing, but that will be the only thing they lead in.
New orleans hammers them next week.

Daunte Culpepper will start...
Culpepper filling in for StaffordComment Email Print Share ESPN.com news services
Daunte Culpepper will start at quarterback for the Detroit Lions in place of injured Matthew Stafford on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers
Stafford injured his knee in last weekend's lopsided loss to Chicago, but neither he nor the team will confirm reports he sustained a dislocated kneecap that quickly returned into place.
The Lions listed Stafford as their third quarterback against the Pittsburgh Steelers because of a right knee injury.
The first overall pick in April's draft missed practice Wednesday and Thursday, but saw limited action in Friday's individual drills. Lions coach Jim Schwartz would not comment how much work Stafford did in team drills, which are closed to the media, and Stafford declined to speak to the media.
Culpepper has been hoping for another shot at a starting job, either in Detroit or elsewhere, and knows a good outing against the Super Bowl champions can only help.
Pittsburgh was without safety Troy Polamalu, who hasn't played since tearing a ligament in his left knee a month ago. Running back Willie Parker also was out for the second straight game because of an injured left toe.
Detroit had three starting linemen inactive: Gosder Cherilus (shoulder), Dewayne White (hamstring) and Sammie Hill (ankle).

Giants can have their back-up in and win.Only signnifcant loss right now is the linebacker bolly ( I think that is his name).
That Seattle - Jacksonville spread has me befuddled. I would think Jaguars would be a couple of point favorites.
ESPN radio reports that there is a possibility that Edwards may still be suspended. Thatwill be determined in the upcoming weeks.
PITTSBURGH Please!
The game won't mean anything by then.
Make one wonder what these so called "experts" saw in the kid to pay him $60 million dollars.
Both teams look good!
