You’re right, shareholders are screwed in that reality is finally setting in.
Might as well be so long as we can all profit from a little bit
I wish they could sell product like they could sell new issued shares.
You really got a wonder what the Chinese guys were thinking though. After buying all the shares at $3.60 a share, I want to how they feel about latest years being sold at $1.50? That’s a pretty big haircut on the value of your investment for all of us actually
You know what I’ve been saying for years, nothing will happen here until we actually sell something let’s sell something.
I don’t know why this company puts out these ridiculous worthless press releases. They’ve done it for years and they produce no interest in the company because they don’t say anything. Factor the matter is most of these press releases it come out saying they got some opportunity or year down the road you’ll find I never actually got anything.
Why is it that every earnings announcement, quarterly earnings is always some order that didn’t get in in time and that’s why we missed the numbers. Wouldn’t you think that order would get in for the next quarter and we have a good quarter but they never do.
No, they haven’t figured that out.
Me too, was at least hoping we would see them take out the company at $3.60 a share. My guess is that’s not going to happen now that they did this latest stock sale at $1.50. The Chinese guys got a really be ticked off.
Doesn’t really matter, given the stock price this morning, probably wasn’t anything of importance anyway.
Now down $580,000 + on this investment. I don’t think any of these announcements matter anymore.
Look on the bright side, there’s always next year.
Not able to open this link that you posted but it probably doesn’t matter. Whatever is going on at the show obviously isn’t very good since our share price seems to be heading to an all time historic low.
Can you imagine where share price would be if we weren’t leaders in the biometric field.
5.4 cents now. I think the All Time Low that I remember is 4.5 cents about 10 years ago
All excellent questions which I have no answers to. I would expect he is smarter than all of us, definitely smarter than me. The fact still remains we are now trading at near an all time Low and I don’t understand why. Clearly somebody does and they’re selling off because of it.
Am I the only one that thinks something is seriously wrong here?
Well if he knew something the rest of us didn’t know, why would he allow somebody to buy shares at 50% discount to what he owns the stock yet? That doesn’t make any sense.
I would love to be optimistic about the future of BIO-key but unfortunately that optimism went straight out the window when we broke $2.50 a share on the downside.
Company needs a new strategic plan and needs to lighten up on expenses. Too much headcount, not enough sales.
Can somebody help me understand what a cheap revenue officer does?
Wouldn’t be better served by having some sales people that can sell some product? If you don’t sell anything, you don’t have any revenue.
I remain very confused at how this company is operating. As far as I can tell, all we added is an additional mouth to feed and a future severance package.
No why can’t we get a move like this Out of BIO-key, take a look at Delcath systems, DCTH. Two dollars a share to $10 a share in less than a week.
This will get very interesting, I have a rights offering that allows me to buy 540,000 shares at $1.75, The offer expires next Wednesday. What should I do???
I think BIO-key is in big trouble, in significant sales and total collapse in the share price.
Why did Barbara Rivera leave?
What did she see or perhaps more important, what she not see going on that would allow this company to survive.
I haven’t checked lately on the competition for the biometric lock but about a year ago when it was first announced I did send a note back to marketing suggesting they seriously consider a Wi-Fi version and not just a Bluetooth product. No response.
It has been a while since I have looked at the competition so I will spend some time this morning just to see where we are placed. Back a year ago it did not look good. I think I have to go through seven pages on google before I could even find a BIO-key listing. I hope that has changed by now.
Perhaps the question needs to be asked, with several individuals at BIO-key with impressive resume is, why is it they all seem to fail? Is it them failing or is that they’re not allowed to do what really needs to be done, the hard choices that have to be made to get this company right direction.
I have a pretty strong marketing background and have been involved in market development for 40 years. I can tell you that I would be doing things substantially different than what I see going on here. I think there’s a way to correct this market we’re not doing it.
Despite all the rhetoric, we are really not making any significant progress. I would believe that a company in this market and industry should be seeing 20% year-over-year growth at a minimum.
No matter how you slice it, the fact that Barbara Rivera, a very significant and well respected Industry professional is no longer with this company. This is now second high profile individual that has left the company or been terminated that is considered an industry veteran and expert in the field.
There used to be another guy by the name of Jay Meier who is also highly respected as I recall and all of sudden he was gone. The company continues to flounder with a share price trading at close to all time low’s.
What will it take to righteousness this sinking ship and get it on a course to success. I don’t think we have a plan in place to do that and it is certainly taking far too many years to gain any traction in this industry.
The company has put in place in entirely new Board of Directors over the past few years that seems to include some pretty intelligent and successful people. Do they have any power to do anything or are they sitting on their hands and acting total void of their fiduciary responsibility to shareholders.
Something has to change year it needs to be drastic. We have I believe over 22 people in the headcount producing extremely minimum sales. If they can’t get the job done they need to be terminated and replaced with people that can get this job done. It would appear that our greatest accomplishments are the ability to sell shares of stock at continuously lower prices as a post to products and services.
Just noticed BIO-key going by the CNBC Ticker a few minutes ago. Don’t often see it but every time I do it goes by with the price of $2.26, in this case indicating down $.10. I’ve seen this for quite some time and don’t understand why the CNBC ticker doesn’t recognize any BIO-key trading at all
Nice to see a price going by at $2.26 but totally in accurate as our closing price today was $1.72. The NASDAQ listing is serving us well isn’t it?
There isn’t anything that BIO-key does that makes sense anymore.
I agree with you, if Wang has been buying it $3.60, why in the world did this last round of delusion sell at $1.50?
It tells me that we’re in big trouble. Can’t sell products so I guess the next best thing is selling more shares. Maybe next year will be our year, certainly doesn’t appear that this is going to be the one. Disappointing
I think they started dumping weeks ago, that’s why were $1.70 share. I suppose those that knew we were going to get more dilution probably started selling shares at a much higher price knowing that get those shares replaced after the stock price tanks.
I don’t know why after so many years of watching this happen over and over again I haven’t figured out that when the stock price rises, look out for more dilution because somebody is getting a bunch of cheap shares to replace them.
Back to seven cents a share split.
Many years ago I discussed that exact question with management, with all the secondary offering as we were doing eight and 10 years ago, why not share some of those offerings with a long time shareholders that of support of the company. The answer from Matt he meant was that the long-term shareholders weren’t sophisticated enough to be able to participate in that kind of a transaction.
I found it quite troubling and extremely disappointing that management had no real value or loyalty for the non-institutional shareholders. I guess as I look back many years now it was probably the best thing I could’ve done for us because that investment would’ve been nearly worthless today.
For many years I have been saying that nothing will happen with this company until somebody goes out and sells something. Eight years later, we really haven’t sold anything.
I am out, I’m done, time to sell. Good luck to you all
6.25 cents per share on a pre-split basis. I would say you can put a fork in this one, it’s done.
Several years ago I advised against anybody voting in favor reverse splits on this company as it would be a slippery slope to the bottom. At that time the stock was trading at about $.25-$.30 per-share putting that in today’s value, somewhere around $6.25 per share. Foolishly, I failed to sell any of my 3.9 million shares with the hopes that they would actually sell something and this company would be a success. I was wrong on all accounts except for the fact that the reverse split would be our dissent to the bottom.
Lost track of the headcount in this company but still believe it is somewhere is around 24 people. It would seem to me that it is time to cut at least 50% of the employees here based on the fact that our sales have not really grown and were hemorrhaging money at an incredibly rapid rate. Out of the 24 people, I think seven of them as vice president’s.
Wow, can you imagine with the company stock price would be leaders and fingerprint technology?
Unfortunately I think the market has already spoken and it’s not sounding good. Far too much weakness in the last couple of weeks to think anything of substance is happening.
That’s very encouraging, I wonder who they will use for finger print authentication. Given the way the stock is performing these days, it wouldn’t appear that BIO-key is even in the fingerprint business anymore
Very troubling. I realize everyone talks about a light quarter again but this is supposed to be a growth company and an emerging technology we should The meeting and exceeding the numbers quarter over quarter consistently with new business. Why is that not happening?
Put it in order for 5000 shares at the end of the day at $1.84 and much to my surprise, it was Field instantly.
Not a good sign in my opinion. That translates to 7.6 cents presplit.
No, I’m still holding this not in buying additional shares because I’m a moron and haven’t learned my lesson by it honestly. I guess I figure as soon as I wind up dumping this thing, it will skyrocket. It’s in the way it always works
The reality is, as long as an insider, Wong, is buying shares at $3.60 a share, I figure that is ultimately the floor and where this will get taken out. As much as I don’t want to add or hold anymore this, I’m willing to let that scenario play out.
I’m hoping that someone is stupider than me and selling the stock for two dollars a share when I’m buying at two dollars a share.
Well this price might mean nothing to you but for me it represents a loss of 3/4 of $1 million.
Yeah, what was I thinking, that’s no big deal.
This is what happens when companies put out meaningless press releases that had no associated value or strategic significance.
How did these last few press releases enhance our ability to generate revenue? Just because these people telling us they are on board, doesn’t mean that got a paddle in their hand in there helping row.
That’s my point, it does not make any sense.
We’re seeing a 7 1/2% drop in the share price with extremely low volume. This is why I believe this is completely orchestrated.
They really can’t be that many shares that are available for sale Given the fact that Wong holds 45% and long time shareholders still hold a fair number of shares and and willing to throw in the towel in at this point, not after holding this for 10 and 15 years.
I agree, the preferred’s are gone but that doesn’t answer the question who is driving this price down. Is it Maxim, someone has a vested interest in driving this thing down, and I just don’t understand who.
Once again, selling into News.
As much as I don’t want to own anymore of this stuff, I actually picked up several thousand shares this morning.
Here’s a homework assignment for you BIO-key disciples.
Which one of our so-called partners, institutional investors or insiders is the liberally trying to trash the stock. If you watch the level two training screens, you will clearly see that this is a deliberate attempt to drive the price up BIO-key stock down. All you need to do is watch the bed and ask sizes and see with the trades are going off. This is so deliberate and obvious it troubles me.
This is not the first time we have seen this happen with BIO-key. Many times over the years are so called preferred shareholders deliberately tried to destroy the value of the stock in an effort to gain control of the company. I really don’t want to own anymore of this stock, I have far too much as it is but if this continues, I will step in and start buying more.
Remember, in the end Wong will take control of this company at $3.60 a share.
It is truly amazing how manipulated the share price is.
How does this happen? Level two shows demand a significantly higher than the selling side yet the stock continuously trades at the bid price, the lowest Price rather then the ask.
I wish I could be Warren Buffett Junior but unfortunately I lost most of my money in BIO-key and now have to live in a cardboard box in Central Park West.
Well somebody has to be Batman, why not you?
They are not the same person.
Wouldn’t it be nice if our management team could provide some color as to what these two patents are worth. Even a hint of what their value in the marketplace could be. Wouldn’t that be a novel idea.
I would have to assume that since they put all this R&D effort into getting this pattern, they have some understanding of its value in the marketplace. Just a heads up, throw us a bone.
Look at the bid and ask on level two, 30 to 1 and the stock trades down, how manipulated is that?
And the stock trades down to $2.10. Somebody should be in jail for this kind of stuff
So much the influence of Maxim, useless.
This problem could be fairly easily addressed by management by the way. All they need to do is put out a press release is that actually identify what the real opportunities are and the values so people can understand why the stock is worth a lot more than it’s trading at.
Is it possible management is deliberately suppressing the value stock price right now?
What I find tremendously disturbing about the way the stock trades is the bid size and ask size as shown on level
The demand, bid, clearly shows demand for the stock but why would sellers, the ask side be so low with very few share is available? Manipulation is the only thing I can think of.
I seriously doubt it short-sellers and market maker manipulation.
Unfortunately, it’s all about revenue. The shorts may be able to manipulate this a little bit but trust me, put out a press release it says there’s some revenue attached to it and the shorts will get crushed. There’s also not a lot of shares for them to buy the cover.
This is all about revenue, and so far all of these press releases attach no revenue or no Potential revenue value so why would you expect it to do anything differently?
Well if we open at 375 someday, I can tell you this I’m gone, I am not looking back.
I need to fund an investment in a new pre-IPO cancer therapy investment in about two weeks. I am seriously contemplating dumping about half of my position to do that rather than sell other holdings. I think for once I’m actually going to sell the loser. I hate throw in the towel after 18 years but hey you got to do what you Gotta do. And this is probably the least likely investment that will pay off.
I do believe this stock price is heavily manipulated. If you look at the bed and ask sizes on level two, there is no reason why the stock should be trading desk. There is a fair amount of demand on the bed and very little stock available on the ask. Makes no sense other than market manipulation.
On top of that, you have an insider and director buying up huge amounts of Sherri’s had a significant premium to trading at $3.60 a share and we’re trading at $2.25, how crazy is that?
Of course my biggest concern is why the stock is even trading at anything down at these levels, that’s just crazy. We are trading at $.10 a share on a pre-split basis. The other consideration is lack of confidence by investors. New potential investors don’t believe there’s any future in this company. Of course that’s just silly and stupid because Adam minimum the stock is worth $3.60 a share.
