I had a consulting contract in 1989 that paid me the best rate I ever received, just over $125/hr plus all my expenses. Only downside was working out of town. Well in 1990, I decided I wanted to have some fun on weekends when I stayed in GA so I leased a new 300ZX Twin Turbo. I remember those T-Tops and I just barely cleared them without lowering the seats, but I did clear them! I measured 6'1" at the time STS, you must be a pretty tall guy. BTW, that car was an Animal.
HDG, this is painful to watch so I'm going to stop watching and find something else to do. But one question before that HD, do you still think there's a chance this could top $25 by EOD this Friday?
Exactly VuBru, that was partially my point earlier. Has been the pattern since beginning of October, driving me nuts since I've been trying to play catch-up using mostly short term options. Three more days to plan then some relief, Amen.
A regular experience that I won't miss, on pretty much a daily basis, is the gaming of this stock by whomever is doing it. Take today for example and the last three weeks, the pattern has been similar. Bang it down as hard as they can early in the week because they don't appear to have the same control toward the end of the week, when the believers resurface...rinse and repeat! I'll be happy when it's over and I can sit back and wait for longer term events, whatever they may be. Amen
Say Clean, you don't listen good, do you? Why don't you shove these up your astronomy?
We had tickets and I was on the road to Woodstock but I never made it there, been a lifelong regret (small regret actually, really shitty weather!). I've seen a bunch but I never saw Hendrix play "live". Good for you ferret!
It sounds like we may share an era in music appreciation. When I was 17, I got my drivers license and purchased my 1st car, a 1957 Plymouth Belvedere. It was 10 years old but man that was a pretty car! Shortly thereafter I had saved enough money to purchase my 1st home stereo. I drove to a mall in Bergen County, NJ where I bought a Panasonic Stereo Receiver, a Garrard Turntable and 3 vinyl albums: "Are You Experienced" by The Jimi Hendrix Experience, "Disraeli Gears" by Cream and "The Doors" by ditto. I still have all the Vinyl (and much more) but the electronics are history.
KG, indeed that is true sir. I stand corrected. Sadly Kev, the memory goes first. Need to boost my Vascepa dosage!!
Never mind..... (Thanks LB!)
Ironic...don't ya think? BTW, Andrea Bocelli is no slouch!!!
You can make a payment directly to the IRS online or you can go to any Federally Chartered Bank and make a deposit to the IRS.
How old are you and did you grow up in the USA? (LOL). This ..non-original.. ZZ Top lyric probably applies to most of us...."The future's so bright..I gotta wear shades". GLTA

Actually Amarin ITC case is based on the inclusion of EE-EPA into Dietary Supplements.
I think your explanation is almost certainly correct. As you point out, the additional .15 is marginal given the total profit.
Sorry ferret, I misunderstood your post.
Misunderstood your post.
What the hell would be the point of trading all these Jan Options? Even putting on spreads at these levels seems really odd. Anyone see a benefit of some sort other than the obvious? They're paying huge money unless spreads.
Amarin is staying in Northern NJ for the foreseeable future.
Why are you being a gigantic PIA and posting this crap here? If it isn't about AMRN, don't you understand WE DON'T GIVE A SHIT!!!!
LB, if and/or when you do start your research on post retirement "Tax Haven States", you should definitely prioritize Florida. Most costs are comparable to North East Mid-Atlantic rates. The standout savings come in no State Income Tax, reasonable Sales Tax Rate, Low Real Estate Taxes, Reasonable Regulatory and Administrative Fees. The State really doesn't try to rip you off, they make a lot of money on Hospitality and Snow Birds and that offsets costs for residents. Florida also spends lots of money on Public Facilities i.e. Parks, Beaches, Other Public Venues and there are rich and varied cultural and educational opportunities.
BTW, your argument regarding the Social Security problems is well considered and presented. I want to respond with discussion points but it will need to wait for a later forum. However thank you for taking the time to prepare, I do understand the concern.
I'm sure you know LB that in order to collect a spousal benefit, you usually have to be married for 10 years. I'm not sure how many of those Hollywood examples make it to that high mark?

smarterer, extremely well done post and I am in full agreement.
TTE, don't forget that dosage matters. Unless I misunderstood your post, 900mg of PharmEPA is likely not therapeutic....
Hey Nuke, Amarin's strength today? You gotta stop messin' round with those cute little cacti!
Lol...Well always that post was the "kiss of death". Here's hoping tomorrow gets AMRN back on track and closes with a nice gain. (Occasionally we get slapped with an outlier). Keep the faith!
Continuing Medical Education.
Where is North's post?
Clever fellow you are....I just got back from dinner where I met an old buddy...Ragland T. Tiger, you might know him as Rags! Ha-ha lol, amazing how that 60+ year old memory comes flooding back. Must be the Vascepa!
Shari Lewis, and let's not forget Andy's Gang on Saturday morning with Andy Devine! Claude Kershner weeknights with Clownie on the Terry Toon Circus. And Sandy Becker with Norton Nork and The Bugs Bunny Theater.
jomama, I retained several studies and evaluations of EPA and DPAn3 back when the original Matinas claims were publicized. There is most certainly evidence that DPA may have some results as beneficial as EPA, therefore the future may hold some degree of competition from Matinas eventual product. You may already have seen these references but I was particularly impressed by the Pepper-Yowell doctoral thesis. Perhaps others on the board might find this informative.

That's not exactly right, ferret, you can upgrade or switch from Advantage to Medigap but it requires medical underwriting so you are not guaranteed approval for coverage. Your health at time of application is crucial.
My my, looks like we may have a second 'BB' on this message board. Like!
Thank you, mapman, appreciated.
Never used the "Ignore" function, where can I find it? TIA
You can be such an asshole when you want to be Raf.
So what do we think folks? Not having great success keeping us down today and it feels like it wants to push up farther. I bought 25 Nov 2nd $22 Calls earlier for 45 cents. Did I make the right call?
If you expect the stock to continue rising, you would roll from ITM to OTM anticipating growth in value.
Don't blame you, sts. Does make one question the motivation, doesn't it? One thing I should have been doing all these years (like some have) is writing those covered calls. Could have done very well on those.
conkers, thanks for the thoughts.
