Oh man don't go to Vegas for more than 4 days or you'll come back a ruined man! I'm a long time Vegas vet. But I hope you (we) make enough with IPRU to buy the MGM!!
Thank you. Appreciate it. GLTE
Sorry I'm relatively new to this board but I get the impression we're expecting a PR on Thursday?
I missed it - was that .0049 before the bell or a T-trade? Wowzers, what a run!
Congrats! That's awesome. Still waiting for my first ... Late to the party on this one, but still here.
Great charts as always, TY. Do you think the right side of the 2 year daily is a cup and handle (Aug-Dec)? The right side of the cup (Dec) doesn't quite make it all the way up before the handle, but otherwise the volume pattern seems to fit.
I think your call about bouncing off the MA is correct. The thing in our favor is it bounced off hard and with volume. If you use the previous run from .004 to .0175 as the pole and then some consolidation as a bull flag, we've already exceeded the "flying at half mast" rule.
So, a lot of folk bought in and we ran up harder than expected by the charts. I'd say we're in for a sideways move for a bit and then another run depending on news.
So we held, and broke 0.0022 (daily, I know we dipped intra-day) on pretty heavy volume. Seems to me we're in for a good run. My back of the envelope calculations are to .006 (solid 3-bagger) in the short term, and that may be conservative if we get a good PR. Long term (3 months), well, it goes off the top of the chart lol.
Solid advice. I'm relatively new to pennies but I'm learning a lot (the hard way). I've never seen one run hard as many have described so I have little experience other than a lot of "red." It'll be fun to see this run up and to make a profit for a change. GLTE.
Just jumped in the other day based on the chart and added today as we're holding .0022 on decent volume. Looking good baby.
In at .0017 and enjoying it so far. Was going to take some quick profits but let's see what she can do.
Giddy up!!
The way this thing has been trading, we should be in for a 50% retracement tomorrow - .0018 - .002 range. That's just based on past observations.
Well, I hope you're right. I'm in for good or bad now.
"The confirmatory trial, AMP-516, failed to replicate the results of Study AMP-
502. In trial AMP-516 neither the primary endpoint of ETT duration nor any of the
secondary endpoints, including KPS, demonstrated a statistically significant effect of
Ampligen using the protocol-specified analyses."
That's why it's tanking. Great.
This is what I'm waiting for. Still in talks last I emailed AC.
Personally, I think the radio interview and pr is short term stuff. I want to know if he's hired the new CFO. If AC expects EXPU to hit $4 and land on the NASDAQ, that's the kind of move that is needed. Local bottling and distribution, even in the new vending machines, is small scale. Sure, we'll earn a few dollars with it, but this has potential (and he has stated his goals are) to hit the big board.
If he hires the CFO, I'm in for 10 mm shares.
Ugh. Was hoping we'd have seen a small run. But based on recent history, I suspect tomorrow will see us around .0015 and monday to .0012 and then we have a small bounce to around .002 when everyone flips. Then the walk down again. I hope I'm wrong, but last time I suspected this I held off on buying additional shares and so far I'm glad I waited.
I know some very experienced investors feel this will bounce up hard, but I just don't see it in the near future. Perhaps time will bear their opinions out. I hope so. But as they say, hope is not a strategy. GLTA.
I'm out. GL to all of you. Got my @$$ handed to me on this one.
http://www.loganandco.com/noticesandpleadings/ASI/ASI_NP_00129523_61fcd5af430de8c70770c99ecf1a8749.PDF. Sorry if that doesn't work correctly. There are 2 documents, one for wanx and one for Nav. T he Wanx ne is 6 pages.
And there you go. Now this makes sense. Glad I only opened a small position. Granted, that document is mostly unreadable to me, but the English part is clear enough. Balls.
Good for you, hope you're right. In fact, since I didn't buy back in practically guarantees you a win. GL.
I understand your point and I hope you are correct. But it just feels like we don't have the whole story yet. So remain cautious is all I am saying. It doesn't feel right to me that the secured creditors are only getting .61 and the shareholders are golden. And why the heck wasn't this extra cash reported in the first place?? What was the point of causing all this panic selling??
Anyway F, I really hope we're in for a big win here. GLTY and all of us.
You know, that's what I was thinking. It's the same pattern. Bloodbath for days on end, then one decent day with lower highs. I like that we're only a little off HOD, and I don't know what to make of all this buyout talk, but I didn't buy more shares (for once) on the expectation tomorrow will suck again. Hope I'm wrong of course.
After getting my backside handed to me, I opened a new position just before closing. I'm excited but let's to get crazy with the pps predictions. The secured creditors are getting .61. Is it really reasonable to expect us to get nearly that much? I agree there's call for cautious optimism here, but not out and out exuberance. At least, not yet.
We got a chance boys. It's slim - Wanx bringing $350 mm to the table but don't know about the legal fees. No definitive answer on debt yet either. But still a chance.
Nice call, again.
Hey Champ! Good to see you back. Hope France was nice.
Great post actually, turns out you were correct. I got wiped out on this trade, but seeing your post makes me feel much better. Thank you!
I got wiped out in this. But your posts actually make me feel much better. Thank you.
Fair post.
We are missing critical information and relying on a single, unofficial report of cancelled shares.
Doesn't it strike everyone as odd that A123 releases information that shares will be cancelled on Sunday when the hearing is on Tuesday an all the initial results were reported yesterday? Not only that, but the Chicago tribune carried the story yesterday and today it's MarketWire which is a social media network? I have NO IDEA what will happen tomorrow. Maybe .02, maybe .20, maybe somewhere in-between. But I'm not making any decisions until I see original article from a reputable source or from the court or company itself.
Excellent post. Nobody else has this story.
Really? I'm glad to hear you feel that way. You think the estimate of $250 mm is inaccurate? Or that the other contracts will make up the difference? Anyway, GL to us.
Thanks joetm. I sincerely hope you're right. GL to you and all of us.
Wow. That's not nice. I'm long here like you. I'm just expressing concern since we were throwing around numbers like $1B. But listen, if you can give me a sense of why it's better news than I think I'm listening. But believe me I'm not bashing. And please don't be insulting. It's not called for.
I hope you are all correct. The issue for me is we don't really know exactly how much debt or exactly how much less than the original offer. Wasn't such a big problem when we were talking $1B but the margin is much narrower here. Of course if the aggregate is sold and fetches at least $100 mm more, things could be much better.
This is NOT good news. They are shy of $465 mm. We are likely left with little or nothing here.
Best post I've seen in a while. Literally lol.
Fair point. But I think at this point the risk reward ratio heavily favors sticking it out.
A fair few of us (myself included) have an average between .08-.09 so at this point, we're down 50%ish. Assuming the auction is unfavorable, and the stock drops to .02-.03, it's a relative drop of 50% again but only an absolute drop of 25%.
So you are really, at this point, only risking around 25% vs. taking a realized loss of 50%. If you believe there is a 25% of the auction going well enough to at leastmaintain the current pps, then it's break even. If you believe it's more than 25% of having a favorable outcome, the odds or on the side of sticking it out.
At least that's my rationalization of the current situation. Alternatively, "geez I waited this long ..."
