NESS - Sure, the PR looked like it was written by a bunch of idiots. But, consider that these are Isrealies and their language probably doesn't translate to English very directly.
"Different ideas were discussed back and forth, until finally an agreement was reached..."
"...We did this, the results of which is this agreement,"
"With XTO coming into our backyard to play,...
Ness Energy Inks Agreement With XTO Energy, Inc.

"It is my understanding that they will begin shooting 3-D seismic shortly and then undertake a very aggressive drilling campaign," Sha Stephens, President.
Now, consider that Isrealies are smart at business. They are not tossing their money away in frivolous deals.
Also, consider the following from a recent XTO Company Release:
"XTO's balanced approach of internal growth through low-risk development drilling combined with strategic acquisitions, consistently produces extraordinary results," stated Bob R. Simpson, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
XTO Energy Increases Proved Reserves By 813 Bcfe, or 24%, to a Record 4.185 Tcfe TUESDAY, MARCH 02, 2004 8:30 AM
XTO is not taking a lot of risk in inking a deal with NESS and drilling the Parker tract of land. The Barnet Shale, one of the largest gas plays in the US, if not THE largest, extends into Parker county. There is no guarantee that these wells will be gas producers. But, but for more information, see:

Might be a good play to take a position in the lower channel/support of NESS (0.38), after drilling has started, and keep a monitor on the XTO drilling operations. (drilling operation to last month or less?)

I would have hoped they would be trying to display their wares,\ at this highly recognized industry event. Maybe Cetek is partnering with someone else who will be displaying the beef? Anyone know?
stockgrl - Great points. I include here some notes about diversification. A great trader does not focus on the scoring the big 'homerun' with all his/her cash.
While diversifying' too much works AGAINST a trader, diversifying over time (days or weeks) works FOR the day trader. That is rotating a % of total funds, maybe 10 to 25%, in and out of stocks. That way, money is there if a great trade opportunity comes a long in the next few days.
I refer to 'TOOLS AND TATICS FOR THE MASTER DAY TRADER' by Valez and Capra, LAW#9, p. 126, as defense against those who will try to arque against you FOR heavy diversification. I'd always felt badly when making trades with larger blocks of $$$ until I read this. It really put things into perspective:
LAW #9: Don't Diversify
"Almost before we learned the difference between preferred stock and livestock, the concept of not keeping all our eggs in one basket was thoroughly drilled into us. Bus as time moved on, we began to question the validity of this dogma and, in the process, discovered some very interesting things. Tip: As an astute trader, you should questin everything and put to the test of reality even the most fundamentally accepted axioms. You'll be quite surprised at what you discover. Curiously, we found that being well diversified actually curtailed one's progres and cut short the potential profitability when a trader was right. However when the trader was wrong, diversification effectively served as a protective buffer against big losses.
Isn't that interesting. Diversification did not actually prevent losses, nor did it incraese the odds of being profitable. It simply provided a thicker cushion whenever the trader was wrong. Diversification does have its place. And as we'e preached many times, losing right is a big part of the game. It's just clear to us that diversification has less of a place when the trader has talent. In short, heavy diversification is nothing more than a substitute for lack of talent. It is a concept that was created to make one's losses more statisfying. While there are appropriate times to diversify, we would prefer you to throw your energies int becoming an overall winning trader. Think about it. What traders need diversification when they produce eight winning trades to every two losses? Traders who have reached that level of mastery are looking to leverage their high winnings precentage as much as possible. Diversification would only dilute that winning average." McGraw-Hill @2000
Isn't that great reading? It's a wonderful book and very light reading. I was able to read most of it in one night, skipping a few sections that were less interesting.
Don
babycakes, thanks.
LETH: Overextended, possible bounce play - IMO.
Well, not PR, but conference call, actually.
SNG - bottoming tail (sorta), PR Monday @ 2:00E

WFLRF: onboard at ~1.72: Thanks, stinkeye
stockgrl - it's not too late for rehabilitation! don't forget to set sell stops!
stockgrl, what's your sell stop?
ADVK bumping head at 0.16, not 4 long tho
IMO -> NEVER short a stock that is climbing. It's a sure ticket to disaster.
What is the buy zone for a decling stock?
Of course, NATK alarm goes off 5 sec's later.
SNTK: In at 1.12
Does anyone here still own CTKH?
Accolades to OMNI!!!
DougRich1 - Don't forget your friends!
CRPP: I stand Corrected!!! How did it break through the over head resistance? I'm at a loss to explain and concede that I was wrong.
Why don't you guys go to the board called "Break Out Trading".
http://www.investorshub.com/boards/board.asp?board_id=2059
I'm not saying you should dump CTKH or buy more. But learn out to chart with candle sticks, etc., DON'T fall in love with bulletin board stocks, and focus on stocks that are breaking out. That's what Stan and others would do. They made a lot of money, too. So will I.
Breakout Ace and pink money
AKA - oNiOn hEAD
Don't take it personally - CRPP stands for CRAPP! It is in HEAVY resistance and thin volume, at best! Go where the money is!

ADVK - they have purchased rights to itsfun.com, an online music download site. Note that MP3.com and some of the other music download sites did quite well with share price a few years ago. ADVK is trying to undercut the big name record labels by getting independent musicians and returning 95% commission to the artists.
Volume is up over the last two weeks. Big increase of volume on Friday. Wide Beta - not sure where a good entry point will be at this time. Close to upper Bollinger Band. No SEC filings that I can find. Looked like most of the trades that went off Friday were really small fry. Sorry but I couldn't get the chart to paste in.
I talked with former itsfun.com owner Eddie Williams but am not sure if disclosing details of our converstation would be pumping. I will say that he told me the online web site, http://www.itsfun.com , although publically announced to be up on March 1st, WILL HAVE A TWO WEEK DELAY. (This isn't pumping! LOL)
Omni, do you think the stock price could turn if the web site doesn't work and the masses pick up on it? Which alert software do you use?
stock_hippie and Capt_Nemo, You know me as oNiOn_HEAd on the CTKH BB. I don't think you used sell stops on CTKH. EVERYONE, always use Sell Stops! If you don't know by now, it probably doesn't do any good to say it!
