LOL! TECO funniest Press Release to date?:
Treaty Energy Corporation Strikes Oil in Belize
Based on our initial findings, we estimate there are about 5,000,000-6,000,000 Barrels of recoverable oil in place in this first finding."
LOL. TECO Press Releases Have Sense of Humor (so long as you don't put money into them)
1000 BPD by June
Were you talking about the june promise of 1000 BPD FOR 2010, 2011, 2012 OR the one that will be out for 2013
Quote:Press Release: Treaty Energy Corporation – Mon, May 23, 2011 9:30 AM EDT
"Mr. Reid added, "With the addition of the 8 leases announced today, I believe that Texas oil production should reach 1200 barrels in June (2011) and will grow monthly, as wells are reworked on all of our Texas leases. The goal that we have set for Treaty is to be producing at the rate of 900-1000 BOPD by the end of this year. Sound familiar? How about 10 BOPD?
1% Right, 99% wrong?
Another Great TECO Press Release Example
Can you provide a source for your statement:
Quote:Contrary to all TECO press releases the ACTUAL PRODUCTION NOW IS ONLY AROUND 10 BPD.

What is the current TECO RISK versus REWARD?
What was the risk reward the oil strike unverified claim before versus now in relation to the PPS?
New Risk that just surfaced:
1) New Significant Pending litigation recently surfaced (more risk)
2) Belize is NOT in good relations with TECO anymore- how far can Belize take this? (More risk)
3) Company press releases have lost shareholder confidence and reliability (more risk)
4) Fracing will be met with serious opposition. Belize has never had this done before and these are shallow depths. This poses risk to Belize's only water supply. (more risk)
5) Major company press releases caused many investors to come in at .08 through .013. Large scale press releases of this magnitude have drawn attention. There are lots of unhappy investors. (more risk)
6) There is a significant likely hood that the SEC is now investigating because of the magnitude of what took place last week ( want to discuss risk? Ever seen what happens when an SEC decides to act? Google it.) (Enormous Risk)
7) Belize Oil "strike" may be absolutely nothing or insignificant. A dry hole would cause irrevocable damage to TECO (more risk)
8) Kansas and Tennessee "deals" have vanished and have left some angry shareholders (risk)
The price was around .05 before all these new risk factors appeared. Thus .064 is a good time to take some profit/loss and come back in when there is something more tangible than "next week". What if there is no next week? Google what the SEC can do with these situations.
A real strike in Belize would help offset some of these. However let's be real. No 3rd party analysts. Belize says there is no oil. TECO has failed thus far to support any claims of having any producible oil whatsoever..
How many times does someone cry wolf before it loses validity?
Fair enough.
Yes,all stocks, penny, blue, green and yellow chip are based on the future valuation of a company. What I meant by "now" is the reality of current production. Contrary to all TECO press releases the ACTUAL PRODUCTION NOW IS ONLY AROUND 10 BPD. Negligible.
Valuation of companies will vary according to analysts/investors thus creating a supply and demand. A perception based on many factors.
When I accumulated more shares above .010 the company value seemed undervalued based assuming the press releases were credible and reasonable.
Things certainly have changed since then! including the PPS since Belize claiming and affirming the press releases were false and misleading.
And the brains not to.
Why would anyone with any sense buy a company that is under so much scrutiny and uncertainty?
9.8 BPD in several years of business ? Really?
Companies are embarrased if one well produces this negligible amount let alone several combined wells. Each well has maintainence and brings the net to what it is a negative cash flow involvent company.
9.8 BPD ? A real flag of non- performance. No wonder the PR's say 1000 BPD in the future. Probably an ongoing empty but dreamfull promise. We live in the present not in "next week" land. Stock PPS is over valued currently given all the recent risk factors. I'm reducing my exposure and will come back in when and if some tangible value is verified. Good luck to others. I'd rather risk paying a higher pps for stability than lose everything.
Prudent investors, don't underestimate the current TECO risk.
TECO has just significantly increased its Risk versus Reward.
Don't forget the environmentalists. TECO seems to be hinting towards wanting to frac this disputed oil claim. Belize has never had any fracing done in the entire country and this is a fiercely defended procedure. Even a small group of environmentalist will go through extreme measures to not allow this. What does this mean? More and more RISK versus REWARD...
Investors adjust accordingly and wait until the next credible news releases and findings...
GOB casts doubt over Treaty Energy’s oil discovery
Most likely because they allow investors to cut and paste a Country's headline?

It doesn't matter who's right or wrong... all that matters is what the Belizean Govt says. Shareholders don't win in this situation unless oil is pumped and money is made. I don't care if people call me a basher, because I am not a basher, just a shareholder who has dealt with this company for almost 9 months. And since I am long in this company and only care about oil it doesn't matter to me what the PPS is.
I'm really disappointed that drilling was delayed for 4 months because they were supposedly dealing with the Belizean Govt, than when they finally "strike" oil the Belize Govt acts like they have no interaction with Treaty at all.
And the fact that Treaty has repeatedly made estimates on their BPD in Texas that were WAY off, makes me very skeptical of this company.
I will hold on to my remaining 400k shares for a while... but as a long time shareholder, I am very disappointed at what has been going on with this company. And any Treaty shareholder that can't talk about these issues truthfully with out putting up a puff piece of $.25 PPS and how awesome Treaty is, is just as bad as the bashers.
Oil or not Oil? If oil how much? 1 BPD or 100 BPD?
From BULLMARKET :
I know there is oil there at the site. You know there is oil there. I know that you know. Let's stop the charade.
The question still remains, just how much.
BULL
Environmentalists are always the small group. In both numbers and resources. It's like this everywhere. Follow the money trail. Belize want's oil. Most Everyone wants oil. Sorry, the pay-off story is to far of a stretch. Where is the mudlog and the 3rd party verifications?
Yes. Belize desperately needs oil. Finding Oil means more tax revenue. Belize really, really needs Revenue. The Geologists and the PR would love to say there are indications of oil! However, two professional Belizean Geologists that agreed and put there jobs on the line. In the oil biz, a local Geologist knowledge is valued tremendously over a foreign Geologist. Why? Because no-one knows the rocks more than the locals do. Where are the 3rd party validations Treaty has by now?
Not really. If TECO drew the incorrect conclusions than Advanced Geological Services would be reprimanded and used as a 3rd party scapegoat. The Cho's do not have a scapegoat or 3rd party. They would lose face in front of an entire country they work for and probably lose there jobs based on incompetence. There must be more research and varied conclusions since the duality.
CHO BLOW or TECO GO? Does Anyone have any more recent facts or supported conclusions why the Cho's findings are being dismissed by TECO?
FYI BOTH Mr. Pedro Cho and his son Andre Cho are Professional Geologists. They BOTH reviewed Advanced Geological Services preliminary work extensively. They strongly dismissed any indications of oil whatsoever in both the mudlogs and rock samples. Why would they risk their professional reputation and jobs and look like fools in front of an entire country if proved incompetent? There conclusions were not vague but very specific. Surely by now TECO has 2nd, 3rd and 4th professional analysis?
Hmm.. I'm hesitant and reluctant to believe the PM of Belize, Mr. Andre Cho and Pedro Cho collaborated to dismiss promising rock samples and mud-logs. Really? I'm open to it but haven't reviewed samples nor spoken to Advanced Geological Services. I've been on several rigs. You never can get too excited even if you do see oil in the rocks and great logs. There are many other factors and obstacles to vet in making a well commercial. BTW I considered going to Belize also but couldn't make it. We all didn't know it would be THAT EXCITING ...
Yes, I agree. Please, Let's not lose the general scope of the conversation with details. The estimate is for a unknown field that has not been defined except for some unproven/ non traditional technology. I don't know any petroleum reservoir engineers that would make such claims based on one well with disputed rock cuttings.
San Juan #1 Should have the SIMILAR geology as #2. This will be a no surprise. Million dollar game changer is not #1 but the content of those rock cuttings, mud log and elogs. Wish BullMarket was out there for #2-12. He makes it much more fun and exciting.
News to take it past .15? lol! Hard to top a 6 million barrel discovery press release, don't ya think? That 6 million dollar claim lifted TECO to .013 where some of us got filled. How does one top a 6 million dollar wildcat claim on a 1700' shallow well? LOL! Hey, I'm always receptive though. I can't wait to hear this one...
Yes, we agree.
However the professional Geologists disagreed. The press release should have been released immediately (like it was). Perfect timing I may add. However, the content or claims should be toned down severely and Belize's lack of review noted. I believe 99% of the seasoned industry would concur. BTW, That layout looked nice :)
___________________________________________________________________ Quote:Treaty did not have to make such an extravagant claim, this is all I am saying. "Perhaps we have oil and perhaps not, more due diligence is required. Belize says no, our mud-logger says yes. Certainly we don't know nor can we predict any amounts.". This would have spiked the pps AND preserved the Belize partnership.
They cannot say they "don't know" when they do know. That would be a lie and fraudulent. They KNOW they have oil and thus HAD to state that.
The Belize govt made the same exact statements about BNE once upon a time. Guess what? BNE's relationship with the government is fine and BNE is producing thousands of barrels of oil every day.
The Belizean Geology department and it's prime minister performed Due Diligence before they publicly releasing there statement. They fully stand behind it. They would not make such a statement only to be proven wrong. Correct?
Treaty did not have to make such an extravagant claim, this is all I am saying. "Perhaps we have oil and perhaps not, more due diligence is required. Belize says no, our mud-logger says yes. Certainly we don't know nor can we predict any amounts.". This would have spiked the pps AND preserved the Belize partnership.
397 MILLION TECO shares engaged in a LAWSUIT!! About to go bye bye?
I feel sorry for those holders. Wonder if any are on this board?
Case 12-01003 Doc 1 Filed 01/21/12 Entered 01/21/12 21:10:12 Main Document
We our all ears. Educate us. Show us the log (transparency?). Show us the 3rd party analysis? By now Treaty must have a 2nd, a 3rd, a 4th and a 5th opinion on those Rock Samples. Treaty must have also been schooled a 2nd, a 3rd, a 4th and a 5th time why a company can not make such an absurd claim. It's jeopardized our investments. Belize is seeking options. NOT GOOD.
Believing isn't necessary.
#1) Competent analysis of rock sample data
#2) Competent analysis of mud-log
#3) Competent Analysis of electric log. (TECO isn't even at this stage)
THESE 3 THINGS TOGETHER provides a sound professional Oil company with INDICATIONS ONLY. IF #1 AND #2 AND #3 say YES than you complete the well. One STILL DOES NOT announce success! Next step. Complete the well. Monitor it's flow over time. THEN and only THEN do announce success or failure based strictly on IPO. Now do see why Belize is bewildered, upset and dumbfounded?
Validation time? Where is the oil? Where is the mudlog? Where is the E-log? Where are the photo's of the cuttings? Where is the geologist? The muddlogger? All there is a generic Press Release stating it was Advanced Geological Services? They can't be located? Let's hear it direct from his/her mouth, his/her take on this? The entire country debunked this claim, so what do you have to say? Waiting.....
Hmmm. Fair enough. I'll review this further as I have not seen this before. I didn't see anything in the TECO 2nd confirmation public release that substantiated a real oil find but I will research this article further.
Good point. If it was all one-sided it would be boring and no one would be on this board. Every day it would be TECO is wonderful. Boring. Investorhub would go broke and Lots of people here would be out of a job and the guy that says this is better than his soap operas would go back to that.
ANDREW CHO SHOULD TO HIRED Next TECO lesson of the day "The difference between water versus oil"
Krowa, this board would be boring without your insights and delivery. Thank you! Don't worry about the English thing. Most of us have better English but we still can't communicate.
Going off what TheCEO said. You do validate what he claimed don't you?

Reid has 14 million shares and he put 1.5 mil on the market
Really? With all the dads, moms and kids on this? Even without any of that. Really?
Mr. Cho Saves TECO a bunch of money and provides them a free much needed education on Geology 101. His first lesson of the day for the boys was explaining the difference between oil saturated rock (oil potential) versus non-oil saturated rock with tar smears (zero oil potential). He also advised they boys (freely) from embarrassing themselves and us further by putting more money on a dry hole. Go Mr. Cho. We are in gratitude. Please continue to help us. After all we are a stripper well company and NOT an exploration company.
Good job ! Congratulations. I may have bought your shares although I paid .012. I don't know how we fell for a 6,000,000 barrel oil strike bogus claim but the panic buying got a lot of us. Oh well. We won't fall for the next press release.
Wow! 2 legal cases against Treaty! I'll have to review them to see the magnitude and severity of the cases. Treaty by law must list this as potential liabilities and risks so I'll check that too. I'm sure they have that disclosed being a public transparent company. What state are these filed in?
_______________
Actually there are two.
Case 10-01042 and Case 12-01003
As for the form 4s, Ron Blackburn hasn't filed any and those filed by Reid show transaction that happened up 9 month prior.
Wrong? Hmmm. Today is Feb. That post was Dec so yes, things have changed. Actually Dry Hole in Belize has now been confirmed by the Belizean authorities (check) . Reid has filed to sell shares (check). (I may have purchased his shares at .012). Latest High Volume dump was Wednesday after investors discovered the 6 million barrel Oil field "claim" was either bogus or a sign of utter incompetence. Which was it?
According to some posts there is more litigation now than there was in December (ARGY?). No telling what's about to take place very soon given the magnitude of that 6 million Barrel oopsie doopie bogus claim. Wish it were not so I know but we must accept the disappointing but real facts at hand and move forward. Money comes and money goes but let's face the situation and learn from it.
Sure thing. Belizean partners helping educate TECO on how to interpret Geology 101.
http://www.plustvbelize.com/Featured/NewsDetails/tabid/63/ArticleId/2177/Oil-discovery-appears-to-be-nothing-but-a-false-claim.aspx
Belize Geology 101 Educates and helps TECO They just educated TECO on Geology 101 by explaining the difference between oil saturated rock (oil potential) versus non-oil saturated rock with tar smears (zero oil potential). There work can save us from embarrassing us further to put more $ on a dry hole. Go TECO!
Good. Only down 50% from $12 So long as it goes above $12. from where those shares were bought. Come on TECO! Put out another press release. How's a 6 hundred trillion million barrel find sound? Let's do one in TX since Belize has been burned.
