The Belizean Geology department and it's prime minister performed Due Diligence before they publicly releasing there statement. They fully stand behind it. They would not make such a statement only to be proven wrong. Correct?
Treaty did not have to make such an extravagant claim, this is all I am saying. "Perhaps we have oil and perhaps not, more due diligence is required. Belize says no, our mud-logger says yes. Certainly we don't know nor can we predict any amounts.". This would have spiked the pps AND preserved the Belize partnership.
